821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: May 14, 2020, 10:21:25 AM
Everyone would like to make more money but I don't think that is the point. Maybe for professional gamblers who feel that pressure but to my opinion gambling should be fun at the first place and you should gamble if it.feels good. Of course we also want to make some money and that is no wrong but it shouldn't be the main purpose. If you manage to combine fun and profit that is winning combination but it's not very often.
822  Economy / Economics / Re: The Coronavirus as A Means of Financial Reset on: May 13, 2020, 09:36:11 PM
We know that the Western mainstream media are not simple reporters of facts.
I don't know if I buy any of the rest of this argument, but the above statement I completely agree with--and that's why I stopped paying attention to pretty much all news sources a long time ago.  I'm also fairly certain it's not just the Western media that can't be trusted.  That' seem to be a global thing.

Who knows, OP could be right about this strain of coronavirus being manufactured and unleashed upon the world.  It's sad that I've become too apathetic about such things that I don't even care to look at the evidence for and against that theory.

Wasn't Trump facing impeachment before the outbreak?  I was only partially paying attention to that, but then that story just disappeared from media altogether.

Problem with media is global, yes, not only in western countries. Truth is becoming less and important, as well as to inform people in objective way, sensation and spectacle is something that sell news.
The problem is not all people are able to recgonize fake news or intentionaly created articles.
There a lot of conspiracy theories about this virus but I doubt that we will ever know the truth and if, how and where it was manufactured or not.
Personaly, I would like that humanity think on that virus as a message from nature that is still more powerful than human kind who should finaly stop destroying it.
823  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair Dice & HILO game 🎲↕️ 30% Rakeback💰$500 Daily Race🔥 on: May 13, 2020, 07:54:45 PM
These wins from the Wolf.bet players are getting crazier than it is.
Big wins are only gained by people who bet large amounts and it is true that he has placed $4.2K with a 30% chance of winning. A little crazy, but thats the belief of a brave gambler and he was very lucky that day.

Big amount, big risk. That gives a better chances for win but still there is no guarantee and not everyone can afford to play that big, to my opinion that is very small number of players and most of then probably professionals. You need to be a little bit crazy, I admit that and you have to be prone to risk and hazard, that comes together. Not for me, though.
824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: May 13, 2020, 06:33:56 PM
I don't think that one is the better than the other. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
Trading is active way of making profit on cryptocurrencies but at the same time it's very demanding and risky. It's not for everyone and it requires skilles and experience if you want to be successful.
On the other hand, holding is passive way of making profit and it doesn't require and effort, it's not so risky but profit is also smaller, effective on long term and you have to be real patient to get the goal.
To my opinion the best is to combine both.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Before Experience On Gambling...!!!! Stay Safe. on: May 13, 2020, 04:30:40 PM
first of all I do online gambling it really is very difficult to control the transition when we do gambling and we spend a lot of wealth or money now I have started to talk about ways to stay focused and relaxed compilation of gambling and that is a way for us to be lucky can support log and lust when playing
Whether that is online gambling or not, that is very difficult because that is related to control yourself and manage the risk and your money. Before you gamble, you need to determine how much money you want to use because if you don't do that, you will lose all of your money on that day. Gambling can tempt you to play the games more and more so you need to know when you must stop gambling.

There is.no difference between online gambling or gambling in phisical casino. However, I think that is a bi easier to gamblie.online because you actually don't need to leave your house, you have privacy and time you want. That was especialy hard for addicted gamblers in this time of pandemic.
So, selfcontrol and discipline are very important and to my opinion person.who doesn't have these characteristics shouldn't start to gamble at all because it.might end in addiction.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 is almost here, are you ready? on: May 13, 2020, 01:22:30 PM
So, we might conclude that from big expectations nothing big happened, at least for now, and I guess that some users that were too optimistic are disappointed.
But no one was actually ready because no one couldn't tell and predict what will actually happen and what the influence of halving will be.
827  Economy / Economics / Re: Epidemic to Pandemic to Diaster-Cycle on: May 13, 2020, 11:38:54 AM
It is indeed painful to small countries specially those who are economically weak. Our country is quite in the brink of collapsing due to this pandemic. Our government has given all of its efforts but still it cant afford a long run. But luckily, the cases are slowly dropping and the curve is flattened. I just hope this drop would continue and no more waves to come.
Tough call to every leaders especially those who are in the third world countries, knowing that the government are not capable of continuing the lockdown for much longer time, the economy are collapsing and people are starving. The people who are really affected are trying to survive government are shouldering finances to those who are really in need.

According to.some scientists, this now it's not the worst scenario. Aledgly, the pandemic will repeat with the begininig of fall even in worse scenario.
If this prediction really comes true I don't know how the world is going to look then. Another lockdown is not the option because then the whole world will go starving, not just the third countries, and with even deeper and stronger crisis another world war might appear as new threath and that might be the end of the world.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Betting this June? on: May 13, 2020, 09:06:03 AM
I think that up until June nothing will have changed significantly regarding the pandemic. If boxing happens and we all would welcome such move I am sure it will be in an empty arena without fans as even with fans sitting within 2 meter distance of each other there is still a big risk of a wave of contagions happening.

Yes, there is still a risk of virus however we need to continue with our lives, quaranteene and lockdown can't last forever.
Of course, if some sport events continue that will happen with special safety and hygene measures, maybe even without fans. Still I'm not against boxing or any other sport event to start in June. I think we will need to learn to live with risk, at least until  vaccine or cure will be discovered.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a professional gambler on your own way. on: May 12, 2020, 08:03:53 PM
To be honest, I admire people who are professional gamblers. I'm not sure if they are brave enough or crazy enough to risk that much. Because if you want to make enough for living you need to take quite a big risk every day and in general you depend on luck, experience, feeling and knowledge can't help that much. Gambling is one of those activities where you never have full control. So I beleive that successful professional gambllers are incredible lucky but they have very exciting job and adrenaline takes them all the time.
830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you call it a success if bitcoin will stay at least $10,000 this year? on: May 12, 2020, 06:10:08 PM
To be honest, yes, and I would be happy if Bitcoins touched 10000$. It seems that this border is hard to cross and price is struggling quite a while now to come again to that value.
This year is full of surprises, especialy the situation will pandemic that has shaken the whole world and it's still hard to tell what else we might expect. That doesn't only influence traditional financial markets but cryptocurrencies too.
Even if the price crosses 10000$ it's hard to tell for how long it can stay there or go even further.
831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: During a bull market, cash out in what? on: May 12, 2020, 03:34:40 PM
Well, the best is to divide portfolio.
If the price is so high that by cashing out you really can secure your future, I'd probably would cash out majority of Bitcoins. But not the whole amount, the part I would leave in Bitcoin, that is for sure, and the part of cashed out fiat I would invest further, but not in cryptocurrencies. Don't put your eggs in just one basket, that is something that I always try to stick to.
832  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Real or fake? on: May 12, 2020, 12:38:15 PM
It's fishy at the first glance, how can people even doubt it? I guess it's so tempting when someone promises you such a profit but that should ring your bell at once.
Despite of so many examples of scam, so many warning and awareness campaign people still do the same mistake. It's been said.hundred of times, if something sounds too good to be true, it.isn't, don't fall for it.
I wouldn't just like to know if so many are so naive or so dumb? I guess that will remain the puzzle.
833  Economy / Gambling / Re: New online casino: Leo Monaco on: May 12, 2020, 10:49:14 AM
I'm always suspicious when it comes to new casions. They appear all the time and very small number is introduced properly. When there is no official thread, no serious approach to users, no reviews and references, I don't like it. Then everything looks too fishy for me and there are too many scams and untrusted sites so I'd rather stick to one I can trust.
834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of BTC after halving on: May 12, 2020, 09:44:10 AM
So far there are no major changes in.price and to my opinion it will stay so. Price will continue to fluctuate in the current range.
However, this is not the typical time and not only halving affects the price. Pandemic also left the trace as well as lockdown and global crisis that is coming.
Because all of that I wouldn't give any kind of predictions for Bitcoin price in the upcoming period, all kind of surprises are possible.
835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction in the next days? on: May 11, 2020, 09:52:01 PM
Corrections are always possible, with or without halving and I think by known this is a well known fact.
However, such annoucements can make some users make bad choices. If they beleive the price will fall they might start selling. And it's true that is very hard to tell what exactly halving brings and I'm not sure if the best thing is to compare the experiences from last halving thinking that the same will happen now. Let's be patient.for a while, everything will come clear.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has just halved for the third time! A snaphot of various metrics! on: May 11, 2020, 09:10:25 PM
There was a time when the Halving was coming and now it has come!!!!
Happy Days

Well, that is about to see. We can't say if halving is happy or not, at least not yet. Time will show if that will move the price rise and for how much and how long or the price fall.
Although many predictions were very positive, we'll see what direction will price go.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 11, 2020, 08:11:33 PM
I don't see there is problem with pandemic and  betting as long as you play online. Even though some countries will cut restrictions so physical casinos are already open or will be opened soon.
However, if person is addictive gambler then this is a huge problem and in pandemic it could only get worse, especialy if there is nothing else for this person to do or is in quarantene. That is why selfcontrol and friends and family are very important.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be invested in Crypto while staying away from gambling? on: May 11, 2020, 01:22:37 PM
If you are passionate gambler it might be very hard to stay away from gambling.
But if you want something else that is exciting and you can make profit with, you can try with trading. Just have in mind that it could be more risky than gambling and you need to go through education process to understand the crypto market and how it's functioning.
Some compare gambling and.trading saying this is equal and claiming if you are successful in one of these you will also be successful in other. But that is not true and be sure you get pros and cons of both to decide what is best for you.
As long as gambling is fun for you, stick to it.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I would like the confirmation of more expert people on what Bitcoin is on: May 11, 2020, 08:16:52 AM
It's interesting to see that after so many years that Bitcoin is present there are people who need clarification about Bitcoin. Although it's not a surprise and this just shows how limited number of people is good aquainted with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.
But it's good that question is posted here, despite different available sources bitcointalk is still one of the most relevant.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverment can literally destroy bitcoin whenever they want on: May 10, 2020, 08:33:26 PM
I know that sometimes it looks like the government is trying to suppress this or that or go against a certain group of people or a certain trend, but most politicians care only about their public image. Banning Bitcoin would show them as puppets to bankers or as people who are afraid of outflow of capital from their country. In other words, it would make them look weak. It's better to tax the shit out of Bitcoin than ban it, as it will automatically scare some people away from it and bring some money to the treasury.

That is all true but most of governments do not want to supress Bitcoin, no matter that some think. To my opinion this whole story with Bitcoin and governments is exaggerated. It's not in their best interest to destroy Bitcoin but they don't want to allow cryptocurrencies to enher the financial and economy system so easy and without proper regulation.
Yes, there were some examples in some countries where governments wanted to ban the Bitcoin but that were countries they supress human rights and freedom anyway.
