Federer was just too good Shapovalov on the day but we can see that there is a lot of upside for him to become a great player in the near future. So it will now be Isner v Federer in the final which should be a great match to watch. On the Women's side Barty was able to beat the 5th seed Pliskova in straight sets after a hard fought first set. I think Barty has a big chance to at least reach the quarter finals at the French Open with the form she has been in this year and may even challenge for the title, time will tell.
These days I am too busy with cricket and betting in IPL LOL I lost track from the ATP Miami and just checked and seeing Isner vs Federer is good. I hope it will be an entertaining final. I will wish for Federer to win. He is better in every aspect then Isner. In women side seem like Barty had a good journey. :-) |

In one stage everyone was thinking they were going to win but now they lost if by 6 runs!
I was thinking that I lost my money. Damn it! In one stage the odd for Australia was over 8.00 LOL
Pakistan is the most unpredictable team ever, they could not set the chase properly and end up loosing wickets rather than rotating the strikes and ended up chocking in the end, Australia bowled really well in the latter stages, even i thought Pakistan will win the match with the way they were batting. Yesterday i saw the ending seqence of the match between KKR and Delhi and it was a real thriller as i was expecting Delhi to win but they lost wickets looking for big shots rather than playing smart and ended up being a tie, but Rabada bowled really well in the super over to give Delhi the win. SRH vs RCB just started. SRH needs to score a lot of runs if they want to win this match. Kane is not playing today. About yesterday, I forgot everything and it's a fresh start today :-) Because of the thrilling and exciting match  . no one excepted that game will go on super over but it did. Cricket is a funny game indeed. Same here. My bookies were offering more money than I placed when match was in super over but because of over excitement I did not do much focus or I would cash out that time. Seems like it's really a bad night for me. Both picks for IPL seems wrong. I don't think KKR will have anymore chance today. They will lose. KKR needs one more wicket now. Prithvi Shaw seems to be set on the pitch and if he continues, it will be easy win for them. I still think KKR will win. Although match now turned against KKR.

Delhi don't have a good batting line up as earlier I said. Shikhar, Pant and Iyer can be dependable. None of the others are good batsman and I don't expect a chase of 185 from them.

But now KKR is in good position with the blasting performance from Andre Russel. Kartik played well too. After 20 overs, KKR scored 185 which is not a bad score even. They have good bowlers.
On the other hand, Delhi doesn't have reliable batsman. I think KKR will win.

MI might post a score close to 180 currently which is pretty good. Punjab needs to bat well in order to win this match since MI bowlers are in great form. KL Rahul needs to retain his form asap.
KXIP won it comfortably with eight wickets and it was an amazing performance from KL rahul again so punjab on the fire now. Match 2 for today is yet to begin,DL won the toss and elected to bowl,lets see how it is going to be. I was betting for MI and lost all :-( MI just could not ball well however I am not discouraging the quality betting of KXIP. They did really well betting. In the new match KKR just lost their first wicket. I don't understand why Niak has to waste the review? He played 16 balls and scored 7 runs and wasted the review too. |

Vijay Shankar has proved that he is a great batsman down the order, but he needs to play more carefully in order to register 50s or 100s in the future. Felt great to see SRH win with an over to spare.
Their batting lineup is pretty damn good as expected, but they seriously need to focus on improving their bowling and fielding.
You are right SRH needs to focus on their bowling line-up. So far in both matches they showed less than average performance. Only Rashid was different and rest was very average. |

Great showdown for SRH. Warner and Bairstow built the foundation especially hits from Warner, Then Shankar fire and at the end Pathan and Rashid Khan finished it nicely.

I'm having 1.58 now for SRH which seems doesn't worth the risk. I would bet if the odd was above 1.70 for SRH. SRH bowlers are doing fine today and it seems score will be below 150 runs.

I noticed that this season teams and players are under a lot of pressure, it can be due to the franchise's expectation and because of the ridiculous amount of money poured in the game. the only team playing for fun is CSK.
Some players are already in the pressure, for Ex : KL Rahul, Ambati Raydu, Smith, Warner because they are fighting for World cup ticket.

Can you blame Kohli? He has every right to be angry because of a bad decision by the umpire (Ravi) who is part of the elite team of umpires.
That single decision could have reversed the game in RCBs favor which is why I can sympathize with Kohli. Bad luck for RCB and good luck for MI at the end of the day.
Although you have not ask me the question but if you would have asked then I would say that, I would not blame Kohli. It's the human emotion like KP said in the interview. We can not take that away. He had reasons to be angry but it's the rules. When it's done then it's done. Let's forget about it and move forward. There are a lot of excitements are still due in this IPL Cheers :-) |
