841  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages on: May 16, 2018, 04:16:14 PM
The biggest disadvantage investing in bitcoin is because the price is already very high and to reach huge winning rates like in previous years is almost impossible. Therefore it is clearly a better option to invest in other and low priced altcoin projects with the potential of highly increasing prices and winning rates. For using bitcoin as a payment method the current price is of course irrelevant.
It is actually funny when people are talking about the disadvantage that surrounds bitcoin where as someone disadvantage can actually be someone else's advantage.

I use to think of the high fluctuation as a disadvantage anyway, but with some trading knowledge, I was able to switch that to be an advantage for me. Everything for me so far has been advantageous; easy transactions without a third party, I can easily make my own decisions without the interference of bank policies, my asset keeps increasing and I can easily trade it to even make more.
842  Economy / Economics / Re: 7 REASONS WHY: which one are you? on: May 16, 2018, 03:39:40 PM
Although some reasons you listed are quite weird haha but I got to admit the trend is the reason I noticed and started to use cryptocurrency. With no doubt, the trend in technology field tend to be the trend of the whole world, and you definitely don't wanna miss the trend.
Really weird even though some may be true and not applicable to some of us like the illegal aspect but we all know there are some who basically have chosen that as a life and even without cryptocurrency, they have been living that life for a very long time. Nevertheless, I personally can relate with other ones except for the show off and his definition of his mode of payment.

I do not have problem with being traced as well, so incognito has never even crossed my mind, but who really cares, the most important thing is that cryptocurrency is solving what banks could not solve and that is what decentralization has brought us which is freedom.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you panic? on: May 16, 2018, 01:09:13 PM
As I have noticed these days, when the ICO hasnt finished yet and the sale was still on going, the bounty tokens has already been distributed and also unlocked they sell it immediately on forkdelta or etherdelta for a much lower that ICO price, in which it could greatly disturb the sales in tokens. As for you the investor on that token, would you panic when you see that the tokens you own already selling at much lower price?

As I have seen mostly tokens are distributed to bounty hunters after some time after ICO took place. Which means as most of them sell tokens there is going to be the dip. Not to mention that people who buy into among the first ones, in pre ICO with a lot of bonuses likely sell vast amount of tokens at the beginning of tokens being on exchanges. This patron repeats it self over and over again. But if project has great time with great idea and if they can deliver, then this dumping is only temporary and it is not something you should be concerned about much.
Investors are even beginning to keep some change from their investment to wait for the listing on exchange to be able to buy more from the bounty hunters who really do not know there is a price tag to it from the ICO and all they do is to just dump at the slightest chance they see.

A good project will really not bring in any panic for an investor as long as everything is fundamentally right, so at the end, some are just doing themselves harm by jeopardizing their future position and seeing the coin they have sold at the dip hitting the moon.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas price on: May 15, 2018, 07:48:50 PM
Ok I get that explanation but why such a high traffic then?
It's been going on for weeks now.
It does not really matter how long it has been going since if there is more transaction being piled up day in day out anyway, it would still remain like that until it reduces. People have already given you the main cause and no one can know pretty much exactly what could be making the transaction to be that way.

Still, it is understandable like someone said, that people are trying to move their tokens and Eth into exchanges, since there is a possibility of a change in trend and they would not want to miss those peaks to sell and buy back lower which I believe explains why it could be that way.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sleeping giant on: May 15, 2018, 07:05:21 PM
Isn't that another ethereum clone?
Quote
Besure to check this project out because I believe one day it will be big as ethereum or even bigger.
You didn't say way do you think it will become bigger that ethereum. I think it won't, there are other platforms which can compete ethereum I don't think this can.
Have you invested in it because it looks like it crashed and its value is dropping.

It's not a clone. Its built from scratch. Im currently invested in it and buying more for the masternode update coming
Links are bismuth.cz and bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1896497.0
I want to believe only time will tell if it is actually a sleeping giant or not. For a masternode coin though, I always have my reservations. However, there are so many platforms that promise a lot of things already and even though this is a freshly built one on python, it still does not change anything yet until we start seeing its real life application.

It is easy to pinpoint a coin as a sleeping giant, but there are so many self-acclaimed sleeping giants out there. I guess they are not tired of sleeping yet !
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: May 15, 2018, 04:33:10 PM
It depends completely on the market rates and that is how you must decide on this.
I would not say it depends on the market rate but actually on the future worth and potential of what you are holding. This is the only way you can hold through anything believing that no matter what, with a recovery market, you are bound to get a good piece of the huge profit in the long run and this is what I believe anyone should always and generally be after most of the time.

It is hard to hold coins in any year, without proper understanding of what you are holding and only those who invest blindly usually panic easily.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: May 15, 2018, 04:01:25 PM
Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/denaro-ico-raises-8-7m-and-goes-up-in-smoke/
I really agree with you on that. Nowadays there are many scammer everywhere especially online. It would be  etter to have a research first before investing in any business ventures or any ICO projects. Don't just invest just because somebody told you that it is a legit business/ projects or you saw it online and it looks legit. Be very vigilant, think many times before investing and lastly, invest what you can afford to lose.
In any investment, even outside cryptocurrency it is necessary to always do some little bit of research to always try as much as possible to stay safe no matter what. Now, these are even investments that are less risky than cryptocurrency and are even known to at least bring some better outcome.

Cryptocurrency being a decentralized space is one spot there is always a need to be very careful and not get blinded by just the pump profit that would be made from some coins but to always try to do some diligence before investing in anything.
848  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Digital Currency Take Over on: May 15, 2018, 03:19:06 PM
Digital cuurency is now success even though there has some countries that hasn't accepting this. Actually they are not doing wrong it is their decision and for sure there is an enough reason why they do it. They will realized it i guess when the time comes.
It is every country's decision to do whatever they seem please to do but that will obviously not change the progress that we are already having with digital currencies.

I expect that over time, most countries will introduce the idea of blockchain technology into the financial sector which would make us to have the present cryptocurrency going in par with the new centralized form of currencies but I believe it would be a co-existence in the long run with nothing changing much.
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A successful trader must be an educated trader? on: May 15, 2018, 12:38:55 PM
Of course it is not true , nobody asks you any college degree when you want to register and do trading , but if you want to get some profit and make you average you should read some books and see some youtube videos , you may not believe that yet but i believe that knowledge has a straight relation with your wealth , more books you read and more information you get , more money you will get .
No one is saying you need a college degree to trade, but there is lots of information online that will guide you on how to trade. Trading is a profession and have you ever seen a profession that someone would just end up starting without at least learning some basics ? No way. Try it and you will end up a tagged failure at the end.

The essence of learning is to know the basics, the use of indicators and to do some analysis, and experience will then over time help you get better. They are like phases and you do not want to leave one out before focusing on the other.
850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which coin safe for trading? on: May 14, 2018, 08:36:47 PM
All crypto has high volatility so no one coin safe for trading, only by management of risk and good trading strategy you can reduce the risk.  My suggestion if you want to trade that your BTC with altcoin for the better doing short trading because the price of BTC long time already on consolidate and any times can be soar, you have to focus to analysis both price, altcoin and Bitcoin price so you can make money from both and to avoid bigger loss you have to cut loss your open potition when BTC price soar.
And with that high volatility, the safest way is not to consider cryptocurrency that is safe for trading, but to consider knowledge and strategy that is safe enough for you. Personally for me, I have always loved the idea of blending with the trend and not forgetting my stop loss in any situation at all. You cannot always have it all when it comes to trading but with great knowledge, making decisions can actually be easy and make it safe.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In Venezuela, opened a 7-star hotel, accepting only El Petro on: May 14, 2018, 07:35:21 PM
Obviously a way for the country to be pushing its digital currency for usage. Firstly, we should consider that anyone who is going to be making use of this hotel would be elites from the country itself and from other countries since it is not going to be a small price to pay for it. However, it is a good thing that the government is really trying to push the currency and who really knows, it may be a step forward for Venezuela as a whole. I guess time will tell.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments kill cryptocurrencies on: May 14, 2018, 06:22:14 PM
I think for governments in countries that deny the existence of crypto will fight cryptocurrency, but they (the government) who agree with crypto will embrace and fully support cryptocurrency and will even develop cryptocurrency in their country.
They may want to fight it but they will just end up giving up anyway because they are going to be like minority in the midst of majority where the majority are accepting and regulating it, they will just be so far behind that even their own citizens will start looking for better options to live to and enjoy their crypto earnings as who would want to be stuck with a government that has chosen to be backward when there is so much to derive from the future by being a part of it now.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ? on: May 12, 2018, 04:50:57 PM
I think so you have mentioned only half story. Crypto is the fastest way to get rich and get poor both. If hands or traded in this market, it can prove huge beneficial as it has great potential. But if you’ll invest in this market with goals like “to get rich fast”, chances for your success are very few.
If you go for a research then you will find almost all the opportunities are having the possibilities of making us rich or poor at the equal ratio. Because no investment opportunity comes with zero risks. Filtering out the risks and multiplying the chances are few areas we need to work on. If we do that properly then we can get rich quicker than we can imagine.

Yes, I think cryptocurrency is the easiest way to get rich, not the fastest. Although I think there are more and more junk and bad projects, good projects are harder to find.
That is why it is important to always understand that risk and invest accordingly based on that. This is one thing so many new investors usually fail to do and all they are thinking of is to get rich quickly. It takes some patience and diligence to even get to that spot at all and the mentality of quick gains have made some people to do things they are not supposed to do pertaining investing.
854  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto currencies make local currencies disappear? on: May 11, 2018, 06:45:15 PM
Although crypto currencies is very useful, maybe more useful than fiat when you want to do transaction globally, but it wont be able to replace any fiat, not all people are fond of crypto currencies and not people are willing to accept crypto and the government need fiat to control inflation
Far more useful than fiat and there is apparently no doubt about that. Asides from not all people being fond of cryptocurrency, a larger population all over the world are not even aware, some are aware but not well informed and looking at its nature where you would really need to be some internet savvy or at least vast to some extent, it would be very difficult for a normal man to even understand all the terms in the crypto world, let alone, opening a decentralized wallet, what blockchain is all about, how to stay secure and all that.

Pretty too complex for the normal man which obviously would make local currencies to still be in existence for people in this category.
855  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: May 11, 2018, 06:05:49 PM
I'm confident and optimistic that the future of virtual currency like bitcoin will continue to improve and promise, as we know that the use of cryptocurrency is constantly increasing, making cryptocurrency value too expensive.
Apparently, the only thing that does not change is change itself. I am sure digital currencies will keep improving over time as well as the blockchain technology and in this way; there would always be a great future for cryptocurrencies. Sure, a lot of policies, regulation would have come to play, but one thing that I believe is that we would always get to have an increase in value as we forge ahead.
856  Economy / Economics / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: May 10, 2018, 07:16:29 PM
When will we hit a critical point at which there's just too many lost bitcoins due to someone loosing their wallets, dying or corrupted hard drives and etc? At some point this is bound to happen right?
I know that for the time being, low circulating supply means that the coin will increase in value but how low can it get before it starts to give diminishing returns and actually inflict damage to the system? What would happen to crypto in general if all of the coins and altcoins will suffer the same ending?

You've got an ill-founded concern there.

Once you learn more about the crypto economy, it will make more sense.

People losing their coins simply isn't a very large issue.
Large issue is even quantitative as that means there could still be some issue even though little, but for the bitcoin space at large, there is no issue at all and could only be an issue, probably an emotional one for those who misplaced theirs knowing how wealthy they would have been till date only if they ended up keeping their share of the global cake.

The only thing here is over time, we will end up having a few in circulations which is going to be minus the lost ones and those ones are simply gone forever unless the owner or someone luckily bumps into any of the private key.
857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What I Should Know Before i Start Trading Cryptocurrency on: May 10, 2018, 05:37:12 PM
I think you should know to start trading and you can make for the capital expertise you have to get a very big advantage is you have to know what makes the price move up and down so that there can know a good position to buy and sell , the expertise will provide a lot of benefits.
Capital management is just one part to know before starting to trade but it is not the only thing that is needed to be known. One thing I have seen is that so many traders who are newbies normally do not always have strategies before even entering a position and this is because they never learned before making the step.

Making profit from trading is easy most of the time, and losing money is easy as well, so it is left for the trader to choose which path he is ready to take. Learn a lot and win in most of your trade or just gamble your positions without learning and lose all of your money.
858  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why does it call "market will never sleeps"? on: May 10, 2018, 05:04:18 PM
because the bitcoin market is operated around the world that has a different time - the difference is that in the market name never sleep .
Yeah, and basically, the fact that it is decentralized and not controlled by any institution whatsoever is also one of the things that has made it what it is till date ? This is a market that is traded globally with people with different time zones like you said and different exchanges all over the world, so it is one thing to believe that, it will keep on like this probably forever, and that is the beauty of having a decentralized market.

The market has not stayed because it is a technology made by people, is used by many countries, it is used daily or night by people, because tecnology is not human to tear, it depends on the internet of country.
Other than those, only regulated exchanges are having trading hours and all other 'private' exchanges are free from time restrictions. Forex markets are good example here, they also being traded 247.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy bitcoin! on: May 10, 2018, 03:02:40 PM
I just wish I’m able to tell when and when is the right time to invest money into Bitcoin, then by now I would have been a billionaire. Why and how? That’s because I will be able to know when the price will start going up and invest millions of dollars in it and wait till it goes to the highest as of that time”, which I will also know, then I will withdraw my money. But, no one on earth knows that. You can’t predict the market, you can’t predict when it’s selling and  when it’s buying. It’s just like gambling with decisions.
Well you are right that it is not so easy to know about time to buy and time to sell but I think now people are much experienced and it is not very hard to predict price of bitcoin, for sure if people buy bitcoin at right time I mean at low price and sell at high then it’s very easy to become a billionaires, I think if we will keep our eyes on market fall and rise then we will be able to generate good profit at the end and we will easily escape losing but for me right now is best time to buy bitcoin,
What made me laugh was the ease in becoming a billionaire lol Grin. It is normal though as no one can predict the future anyway, and if we can actually do without stress. Sometimes I worry on people as bitcoin and most other altcoins turned them to think about crypto as an easy money making process.

I am sure some of us would have even gotten a long from the bank to invest during dips and sell during peaks when it would go back down, pay up our loan, keep repeating the process with the profit and before you know it, you are set for life. Well, that is a dream and this is reality as no one can know.
860  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam market YObit.net and YObit.io on: May 10, 2018, 02:29:02 PM
I wonder why some of you are just confirming all these now. It is funny that most newbies when they hear of exchange will just end up on any exchange without doing some little research and reading some reviews about the exchange they are about to make use of  and then I wonder what the search engines are basically there for it they can’t be utilized for this.

Yobit, HitBTC and the likes are some of the exchanges no one should ever be considering unless you just have some money to dash away.
