One of my friend worked for a bank in the loan section. He's assigned with marketing of the loans and collection of unpaid loans. As a beginner his mind accepted it as he needs a job and money to survive. As days passed his mind wasn't free calculating the loans taken by the person and what they repay along with interest. He gets salary and based on the cumulative amount collected along with number of new clients he gets more commission. Later he stopped the job for the same reason ans jointed in a super market. With more number of people we can see similar mentality. To survive they used to move with job, whole heartedly they weren't. With every business ans commission based jobs we'll have similar things. The performance based system is not a problem. The problem is those teams are performing well which have foreign players stacked in the team. I would actually like to see a 50% cut in pay for the teams which have foreign players in the squad. And that 50% should be equally divided into the teams which do not have foreign players in the team.
Actually, another thing which can be done is don't have any performance based payment for the teams which have foreign players in the squad. The performance based pay should actually only exist for those which do not have foreign players in the squad. In this way, the teams will be much more interested in performing well and also not have foreign players in the team.
Cricket should be like any other sport, where only citizens are allowed in national teams. FIFA, FIH or FIBA doesn't allow a single foreigner in national teams. FIBA even have strict rules regarding players who are naturalized and holding citizenship. But cricket is a joke, and you can have a national team of Slovakia or Armenia with 11 tourists from Pakistan. And on top of that, these teams now get a majority of the funding from the ICC, with huge reductions being made in fund allocation to teams with native players (Kenya, Nepal, Namibia, Scotland.etc). That's true, cricket rules are completely different and ICC doesn't care about it. ICC play its role only when the four powers of cricket experience some problem. According to me, playing with foreign players is not an issue. Let the funding be provided equally to every team than the performance based system. Since the ICC higher officials are mostly big 4 supporters they always support those countries. There may be many other reasons for this, especially the economy. The amount of revenue ICC gets from the Big 4 is not possible by any other countries. On the other hand, paying equally to all countries would not be rational. Because the cost of a team of Big 4 is not the same as the cost of a weaker team. If you follow this rule, the small cricket countries will benefit, but the big 4 will suffer. Which I think will never be possible. ICC never makes any statement against the decisions made by the four. This is known, and the revenue is the biggest factor that gives them the power. So, until something go against them we can't be see changes happening as expected. Even with the Asia Cup, the council is in favour of India. In the last few matches, we have seen erratic performances from the Kolkata batsmen. Kolkata lost most of the matches due to the erratic performance of the batsmen. Looking at the pitch today I don't think the pitch is bowling friendly. It is not too difficult to score big on this pitch. Even then, it was not easy for Kolkata to win the match. The team lost only 2 wickets. Although they did well at the beginning of the innings, their batting is a bit slow now. Kolkata collected only 76 runs in 10 overs. If they do not bat well in the next 5 overs, it will not be possible to win the match. Kolkata need to score at least 60 runs in the next 5 overs if they want to win the match easily.
Finally Kolkata win this match in last ball. Rinku singh become last ball hero to give victory to his team. This was very interesting match i seen in thi IPL season. After Nitish rana wicket it's seem that PK will win this match because 55 runs was required in only 28 balls but Russell is the man who can change this game to easy win and he did this in this match. His 42 of 23 balls was key runs KKR win this match. for last some matches we are seeing big score in first inining and second team chasing big target. Sunrise chased big target of 214 and today KKR 179 while before this 129 target was difficult to chase. i don't know why this change in run chasing happen? Once again a last ball win. In this season of IPL we were able to see good number of matches ending on the final ball. Everyone expect from Pakistan that they gonna easily win the 5th match of the ODI series too, but tonight things were different because newZealand won the toss and choose to bat first and play a sunsational inning by scoring 299. It's look easy but in reality it's too difficult and due to that reason pakistan lose his most wicket in early stage of game. I think due to dew kiwi bowler put top Pakistani batter in really trouble. Currently victory of Pakistan is little bit difficult but iftikhar can play role of game changer and can help his team to white wash the series...
Pakistan reason for failure today was failure of top order. Babar, Shan and Rizwan went out without making it to double figures.
