861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solve taking profit problems. on: January 24, 2021, 03:28:42 PM
One of the best feelings as a crypto lover and holder is to see your holdings rise and increase in price while your portfolio is swelling up. But majority of people are carried away with the joy and gladness of this market pumps and then keep waiting to take profit at the peak till it begins to dip and they sell way lower than what they should have gained. It's something that's common to almost all traders. I can say greed is part of it. How do you think this problem can be solved.?
I've been through that kind of situation specially during the 2018 pump. I was so happy that all of my holdings went so high that I ended up spending it carelessly. Little did I know, sooner the price of bitcoin will suddenly fall hard. I became too dependent on it and I thought there's a possibility it would rise once again which made me end up in huge debt. I was able to pay it off and started earning again as this new bull run occured. I think the best way to avoid going down to zero is through playing safe and smart. Analyze bitcoin's price before spending or investing so that you wouldn't have any regret in the end.
862  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin viable? on: January 24, 2021, 03:04:33 PM
With all that is going on with the miners at the moment, bitcoin's future might unsecured. As time passes by, there's a possibility that mining would get more and more difficult. Even with the advancement of technology, miners might get tired of receiving low profits from what they are doing and it is quite understandable. Everyone wants progress in their lives even them. They play a vital role on keeping the system running so I think they should receive what they deserve.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins bad publicity? on: January 24, 2021, 02:26:34 PM
Look closely at all the criticism and where it is coming from to understand what their agenda is. People save money in Banks and those Banks use that money to loan it to other people to make a profit. So what happens now... these same people are not saving their money in the Banks ...they rather invest that money into Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies..because they think that it would give them more return on their investment than having that money saved in Banks.

So what does Banks do to stop people from investing in Bitcoin? .... they try to bad mouth their competition and spread fear to stop people from investing in Bitcoin.   Roll Eyes
I think at some point they are just trying to give people some advice on how they should invest their money. Even though it is expected for the banks to bad mouth bitcoin since they are obvious rivals, we should atleast take consideration and make some research on how banks of America are having this kind of assumptions. Nevertheless, it is just a prediction still, it's just a theory and it hasn't been proven yet so the freedom if ours on how we would take their statement towards bitcoin. We are the one who's held responsible for our own monet after all.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU? on: January 23, 2021, 03:11:20 PM
There are different types of investors with varying priorities goals, habits, and tolerance of risk. Read this thread to know the type of crypto investor you are.

1. Newbie: In any industry you must first be a newbie before you become a pro. To get started with crypto you need a little capital to start. This group include those with a little or no knowledge about the crypto industry but eager to seek to diversify their investments into new high risk assets that offer a good return

2. Crypto Enthusiast: Like a newbie, the crypto enthusiast joined the market not long ago and still doesnt have enough knowledge about the crypto industry although he has built a diversified portfolio which he checks their performance everyday.

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.

5. Professional Trader: These guys have seen crypto trading as a part time or full time job. They dont have concern with holding cryptos for a long time. Their main and only goal is short term profits.

What type of investor are you? Im definitely an HODLER
I think I can consider myself as an hodler too. Even though I do not hold that huge amount of crypto at the moment, I have enough to hold on to and no matter how troubled the situation is, I make sure to keep on holding into it. Before, I usually gain most of my profits from joining in signature campaigns when such campaigns are still reliable and profitable cause now most of it are scam and there are not much of it anymore. I am hoping to learn how to trade soon so that I can earn more money in the future and make my holdings larger.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else still regret not buying Bitcoin in 2011? on: January 23, 2021, 01:43:00 PM
For my long stay here in bitcoin, I consider that as huge regret for sure cause if only I had the idea way back that bitcoin would reach this far, I'm probably a billionaire already right now. But since we can't take back time anymore, all we can do now is make the right decision while we still can earn lots from it. Enough with the regrets, let us keep up with other people and keep on going to achieve what we really want. We can all be rich as long as we stay faithful to our goals.
866  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: January 23, 2021, 11:54:41 AM
What is bitcoin? This is the first cryptocurrency that Satoshi Nakamoto opened to the world in 2009. And if even before 2011 it was used exclusively by programmers, then later it became available to ordinary users. Over time, more and more users of the Internet began to learn about it and investments in bitcoin only increase every year. There were times when the value of this cryptocurrency did not move from a dead point for a long time, as well as there were sharp UPS and downs.
It is interesting to know how many people have known about bitcoin since 2009 and how long have you been investing in bitcoin?
What percentage of the profits is brought to you by early investments in bitcoin?

In my case, I entered bitcoin last 2016 so I witnessed and experienced the first massive bull run way back 2017-2018. I somehow managed to earn plenty of profits from that but I did not handle it well that's why it went down to zero again. I made the mistake of depending too much in bitcoin and thinking that it will continuously provide me money but little did I know, its value will fall all of a sudden. I learned from my mistake that's why I made sure to do the right thing now. I managed to earn plenty again but this time I won't spend it carelessly. I don't want another regret.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take Advantage ,, on: January 23, 2021, 11:23:17 AM

Looking at the current price, all alt has decreased, is this the right time for us to make purchases and take profits or do we have to wait patiently ?
how do you thing guys ?
That's how you can earn here in crypto, through taking advantage of the price drops. If we'll look back on the year 2018. Bitcoin's value suddenly experienced bull run but the price suddely drop too afterwards. Many saw that price drop as an opportunity while other considered that as despair since their holdings at that time for sure is very high. If only we can only see the future, we'll surely know how to take advantage of the moments. Since we can't, the best thing we can do is to monitor the price change always and stay updated on the reliable news.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to still make a good return from Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2021, 10:48:47 AM
Even the price is high is there is a chance to get a profit from the bitcoin but how, if we notice the price dump and rise every single day and you can start a short term investment with that. Many people are doing this right now and I think it is effective but invest at your own risk because they have possibility the price will dump more but that is the time you buy more because the real investors they investors while the price is become cheaper and cheaper.
Gaining profit from bitcoin right now may look easy but still we need to take consideration of buying or investing whilst bitcoin's value is still high. It would be best if you would wait till it dumps first if ever it will then start buying then holding. If you are too impatient for that, you can just start investing already but make sure to monitor the price change of bitcoin so that you may know if you are gaining profit or losing. Invest smartly and wisely so that you can make the most of bitcoin's wonderful volatility at the moment.
869  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: January 22, 2021, 02:35:45 PM
In 2021 to 2022
If learn and try to push yourself hard enough.you can be very rich.
Or very poor  2021 to 2022 people will decide who they want be.

By the 2024 everybody must have decidede are they super rich or very poor .

What will you choose ?
Well, the year doesn't necessarily define how much you'll become successful. You can start anytime on working on how you can become rich. If you wouldn't push yourself to hustle on becoming rich, expect nothing but being caged in poverty. Many people have that toxic mindset wherein they make a specified date or time where they think they'll become rich when in fact, as soon as they realize they want to become rich and escape poverty, they can start right away. They just need that eagerness and perseverance and they can achieve anything.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: January 21, 2021, 04:47:32 PM
Hahahaha I have been getting quite alot of engagement lately... and pretty sure I'm not the only one  it's crazy seeing dm's  from doctors, lawyers, engineers, astronauts & Olympians.  Parents wanted me to be any of the above and now they're in my dm's trying to learn about crypto and how I make 6 figures from holding/staking altcoins like $BET $LINK $ ADA. Hmmmmmmmmm life.
You can't blame them. I have a lot of friends who were suddenly curious on how earning in bitcoin works and I always tell them as much as I could. I have no reason to be selfish about it and on the other hand, it is still not easy even though they already know how to do so. It would take a while before they can make profit out of it and I always make sure that they are aware of that fact. It does not surprise me anymore actually, that even those people who said bitcoin is a scam are now asking on how to make money out of it. It's just how it works, people tend to change their beliefs depending on the trend.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was not wrong to bought bitcoin. on: January 21, 2021, 04:27:20 PM
I bought Bitcoin a few days ago for12 thousand dollars.  At that time the price of one bitcoin was 28 thousand dollars.  At present, the price of Bitcoin is 37 thousand dollars.  Which is really good news for me.  I made a post after buying bitcoin to see if I made a mistake in buying bitcoin.  I was convinced that I had done nothing wrong and that it was now clear.
Below is a link to my previous post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5305436.msg55985225#msg55985225
You just went in at the right timing. Still, you should remember that buying bitcoin is not good all the time. There will be instances where you might end up losing money instead of gaining whenever a sudden dump occurs. It would be best if you would first analyze the market and the changes of bitcoin's price before buying. By doing so, you may be assured that you will definitely gain lots of money from it. Know when and how long you should hold your bitcoin so that you can avoid losing great opportunities when the time comes.
872  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 21, 2021, 04:03:09 PM
Bitcoin does not directly help the poor. There are different kind of poor to be honest. Some are poor because the government are abusing their power and corrupt all the money that could have helped them escape poverty while some are poor because they are too lazy to make a difference on their way of life to finally get out of the cage of being poor. Not everyone will have the courage to start learning bitcoin to escape poverty so it still depend on the people if they would let bitcoin help them become rich someday.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 21, 2021, 03:40:27 PM
It is a natural reponse to panic whenever there is a sudden huge drop but you should not lose yourself whenever such things occurs. Whenever I encounter one, I assess the situation first before worrying. I analyze it carefully if there would still be a chance that the price will recover. If ever there's no chance, I would accept it cause there's no other choice. I'll take it as a lesson and start investing again on another coin. That's how it usually works with me, as one journey end, another starts fresh and I always make sure to give everything I have on it.
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 21, 2021, 03:13:52 PM
Crypto is ruled soon by sec and goverment its not goodw

Make your cash and get out of crypto
Pepple dont like regulated things fuck rules and regulations crypto is freedom if the goverment start fuck woth our bitcoins and crypto then its not good

We stay for using cash
Even though the future of crypto is still unpredictable, it doesn't mean we should already jump into conclusion that someday, the government will take over the authority in it. We should not forget that cryptocurrency is a decentralized currency meaning no organization or no government has authority over it. If I would be ask if I would stay for long in crypto, I'll say yes cause there are still a lot of things that will occur which will more likely be beneficial for us who stayed faithful towards it. We can stay using cash whilst using crypto too. Nothing's needed to be abandoned.
875  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you put your investment motto in one sentence when you enter the cryptocurre on: January 21, 2021, 02:30:27 PM
"The bigger the risk, the higher the reward". I came up with this motto because most of the people nowadays are scared to risk huge amount of money, though it's quite understandable that they are just afraid of massive loss, nothing as grand as you are imagining will occur unless you start risking big. As you enter crypto, you should already set yourself prepared for such instances, there will be time you'll win or lose but what's important is that you learn every downfall you face. Through that you may end up winning more than losing in the future.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anybody have any suggestions for investing in Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2021, 09:51:49 PM
Investing in crypto or bitcoin in particular, you always nee knowledge, patience, good timing and strategy. Crypto market is unstable, it means bitcoins value is volatile, you should know and monitor the market movement but if you want to invest for a long term then you should have a lot of patience.
Investing in cryptocurrency is not that easy because you need to consider a lot of things before doing it. A single mistake of choice can lead to a loss of money so you might wanna study the cryptocurrency first, the movement of the market, and its nature. You should also know that there are scam projects out there so you should be careful, try choosing those projects that are on the top list in the market. Bitcoin is a good investment, there are lots of people become a millionaire because of bitcoin. But it is not that easy because they do that with knowledge and with their techniques.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast food restaurants accepting crypto as payment method? on: January 20, 2021, 09:16:17 PM
If in my city it was possible to pay with cryptocurrency, for example, Ethereum, then I would choose to pay in the classic way by credit card.  All due to problems with high fees on the Ethereum network.  Instead of paying the network commission, I'd rather buy myself coffee.
I prefer holding my own crypto instead of using it as payment in some fast-food restaurant. Since the price is really high, the fees are also that high and I don't want to waste money just on a single food. I prefer using fiat when paying. If that is a USDT, it might be good since that token is stable in terms of price. It is near from happening wherein fast-food restaurants to accept crypto as payments, because as time passes by, the knowledge about cryptocurrency is spreading, and there are big companies already adopting the use of crypto as payment.

879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell my bitcoin from 2010 on: January 20, 2021, 08:20:04 PM
It's good that you bought bitcoin the year 2010, I suggest to sell it not all because it is risky I suggest to sell it few only and the rest is sell in the other day or weeks. This is my dream that I bought bitcoin in that year because that year is the cheapest value of the bitcoin and those people who trust bitcoin on that year and have it until now are gain a lot of money or they are a millionaire now.
Well, if you really bought bitcoin at that time, that is really good news for you to know that the value of bitcoin as of now is really high, hitting a new all-time high and even doubled since 2017. Imagine buying a bitcoin at such a low price, you are already a millionaire right now.  That is really good but the fees are high, but knowing that you are holding a lot of bitcoin, that is still good. I am also wishing that I bought bitcoin at that time but I knew bitcoin in 2017, and the price is already high.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: These projects will go big in 2020, I assume. on: January 20, 2021, 08:00:35 PM
only projects  have quality good can stay holding good development, positive news will make project last long and of course have prices on the market
I am not interested in the options presented, I still have the principle that trust wallets will be a good project in the long run
There are really good projects out there, you can look at the top tokens at the market and you can make your own research about how good that project is, that is to make sure that your money will grow when you invest in that. You should consider a lot of things before investing in a certain project because there are still lots of projects that are scams. There are projects that are continually innovating their own platform and that is making them famous and gaining a lot of investors.
