881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: June 27, 2021, 10:20:31 AM
Worry no more, you'll just need to read these previous topics on how you can create a strategic plan after your death.

What happens to my bitcoin if I die today?
Inheriting Bitcoin
Bitcoin Inheritance Planning
Thanks for this one, I'm a bit curious about this too although I have no use with it because I am pretty sure that I won't be needing to do this when the time comes, I just like to have a good read.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two brothers have disappeared with $3.6 billion worth of Bitcoin on: June 27, 2021, 09:23:22 AM
This is why you only invest in Bitcoin for security because get quick rich schemes from shitcoins will destroy you financially.
Well, that's not entirely true, there were other projects that really made a lot of people rich although I can't point a lot because they got drowned by scams but there are some that's legitimate, that's for sure. Maybe a little research could've saved them from the potential scams.
883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will never be gone on: June 27, 2021, 08:44:34 AM
I'm sure now many people believe in bitcoin and there are even countries that have legalized bitcoin. This is one proof that bitcoin is increasingly in demand by the wider community, although there are now negative issues, but bitcoin is able to stand up again so I believe for now bitcoin is unlikely to disappear.
Anything will always have a negative in them so I don't think that we should be worrying too much about it, that's part of bitcoin's rise to fame, haters trying to make it bad so other people feel what their feeling.
884  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you worried about the delta virus variant? on: June 27, 2021, 07:47:35 AM
Don't have to because it's still the same in the end meaning that the vaccine can still fight the Delta variant because they are still essentially the same which was discussed by WHO awhile back.
885  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merit on: June 27, 2021, 05:53:00 AM
I also feel the same way when you put your effort in doing something might be helpful but in the end, it didn't get recognized or seen. I have experienced it myself and because of the thread called unmerited good posts then the previous thread I made got merited. If it didn't exist I wonder what it would be. We can't blame others for their definition of good posts or high quality posts as each snd everyone have their own criteria of giving reward (merits).
The unmerited good post thread is pretty helpful in making the merit economy in this forum much more active and more diverse plus the Merit Sources will have their time cut short in terms of looking for a good post since they can just stay in that thread.
886  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: elon-charity.info | Bitcoin doubler scam. on: June 27, 2021, 05:00:10 AM
How easy to scam innocent people just by getting advantage of Facebook ads. Just discovered another domain name that has been using the same script as above by changing the domain name.
Code:
 https://tesla.giveaway.maaoru.com
Most probably now they have been starting using subdomain instead of buying a new domain. Save yourself guys, don't all in Facebook ads.
The only reason I click ads on Facebook is because they are advertising books and I try to look in that site to see if there are interesting books that I can buy. A lot of ads in Facebook is invaded by a lot of crypto projects so I am more cautious what to click because they are worse than @Coolcryptovator describes.
887  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Minerpart.org Review For Fraudulent Website - Warning: fraudsters on the horizon on: June 27, 2021, 04:23:37 AM
It seems lucrative to the scammers as there are a number of victims who fall for the scam and end up sending $4,000+ at once hoping to get their desired mining gear. So they(scammers) can afford to switch from site to site within a few days.

minerpart.org is offline. I think they have already moved onto the next one  Grin
That's the saddest part, they just need to hit right one time and exit the scam and then make another scam website that have the same format. Hopefully no one has fallen for this because that's another win for these scammers if someone has already fallen for it.
888  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Klaytn Network Fake Airdrop on: June 27, 2021, 03:48:11 AM
That's an ugly website, the fonts they used doesn't match or synergize well with their chosen background, this is basically a red flag for me because that means that there was no thought that was put into the site because it is a scam website.
889  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of Participant in the promotion of scam site. on: June 27, 2021, 03:02:17 AM
To everyone who thinks it's unfair, think about this, they are a proven scam site and you are promoting them meaning that there are more people that will see your signature advertising them and it's only a matter of time before these scam site will be seen by people who don't know anything about the site. In short, you are basically an enabler of scams in this forum.
890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 26, 2021, 02:44:29 PM
In times like this, selling is a bad idea, why would you do that if you are not making a profit? That's so stupid, you sell only because you panic and you have no room for success when you are investing in crypto. The right thing to do now is to be smart, and by being smart that means you accumulate because the market is on sale.
Well, it's a matter of perspective, if you are profiting from selling then do it but if not and you believe that the prices are still going to go up really high then you should probably hodl and another case that we forget is probably the people that are on the short-term side of things, they're trying to cut losses so they can get in when it's a bit more lower.
891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: June 26, 2021, 01:42:15 PM

Indeed, those who live in doubt will never be given a chance to improve themselves but to keep where they are today. Risk-takers will win, that is the reality not only in crypto but in real life as well.
Anyway, it has to know that crypto investment hasn't good always, not all the time we are in profit, a thing that can never be changed. And those who have a faint of heart will really be disappointed when seeing their fund is decreasing.
I don't believe that they won't be given any chances, let them see for what you are preaching and I am pretty sure that they will probably have less doubt little by little.
892  Economy / Reputation / Re: MoonCake - probably scam on: June 26, 2021, 12:53:24 PM
~

Most bounty hunters don't want to spend time exploring crypto projects, whether the project is a scam or not. If they could make themselves experienced, if they could figure out different aspects of crypto projects, then they could keep themselves away from such projects. As long as Bounty hunters can't change themselves, such projects will come and do free marketing using bounty hunters.
They don't have to do research because most campaign threads have the information that is needed by the people on their threads already so there's the illusion that they are legitimate, it's not their fault because this bounty campaign are start up projects so they basically put in a blind faith that the project isn't a scam.
893  Economy / Reputation / Re: MoonCake - probably scam on: June 26, 2021, 11:57:21 AM

they just join because there is nothing else to join with. but if they see a positive sign to other campaigns, they will be leaving that mooncake campaign. it's a classic MAYBE for them. MAYBE it's not a scam but absolutely a moonshot.
That's another reason that I forgot to add and you are right, with a lot of applicants and small amount of campaigns opening, it becomes a breeding ground for desperation in which the scammers utilize to their advantage because they know that these people will join no matter what, look at what happened to 1xbit campaign, they are a scam website but they still got a lot of applications.
894  Economy / Reputation / Re: This User Copy My Proof post and not change My wallet address he used my wallet on: June 26, 2021, 09:23:05 AM
Simple, he just forgot to replace the eth address with his own. This is common on bounty boards that have gotten a lot of replies (say more than 1000) because registrants prefer to copy the last post rather than go to the original long and boring post on the first page.

Btw, have you confirmed to the person concerned (eg via PM) instead of creating this thread first?
That's probably the likely reason why it got copied, the accused might've copy pasted your reply and forgot to replace the necessary information. @noorman0 is right, you should contact the person.
895  Economy / Reputation / Re: MoonCake - probably scam on: June 26, 2021, 08:50:25 AM
If they do turn out to be a scam, they have 17 pages of bounty hunters who will be in here complaining. Sad thing is they should have read the OP in the bounty and seen some errors and asked questions before joining.
The problem with most bounty hunters is that they don't check whenever they are joining some campaign, it's sad the first time you heard of bounty hunters getting duped by the campaign but the more you know that it's not just a one sided fault, you get desensitized overtime.
896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 26, 2021, 07:50:32 AM
I already sold mine back when the prices were dangling around 50k and 60k so I don't worry about selling because I am accumulating again and I think that there's nothing wrong with that because I know for a fact that I deserve to get some profits out of the bitcoin that I am hodling.
Good for you to have some profits before the big dump even though I presume you didn't sold at the peak of the market for this year for now. Everyone deserves to get a profit out of their bitcoin because they did have the patience to wait like the saying. I am still hodling unlike you but I am happy because I have more bitcoin to sell when the prices goes back up again.
897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: June 26, 2021, 05:30:35 AM
To be everyone who is having doubts about going in the current price of the bitcoin market, remember that you should decide for yourself what you should do. OP is right, this isn't for the faint of heart. For me, going in the market first is much important than waiting for the prices to be so cheap because that time might not arrive.
898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency a Good Investment? on: June 26, 2021, 04:50:12 AM
~
Even so investing in cryptocurrency is not as easy as one might think,
besides that the risk of investing in cryptocurrency of course very large so if we are not mentally strong I do not recommend investing here,
actually people whose lives are better because investing in cryptocurrency of course it takes hard work and obviously we can't get it quickly
I think that that trait is already given or should be natural to the person when they want to invest into something because being mentally strong is a tacit requirement for investing. It's not just hard work but also being smart on how to do your work is going to help you get a better financial stability much faster.
899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turn $10,000 into 1 Million on: June 26, 2021, 04:10:43 AM
the price of BTC was 1700$

he invested totally 10.000$ = 5,882352941176471 BTC

Litecoin (LTC) – 50% = 264,9708532061473 LTC = Current value = 33102,81 $
BitShares (BTS) – 10% = 23.882,87836450049 BTS = Current value = 961,17 $
STEEM (STEEM) – 10% = 1.524,123057695678 STEEM = Current value = 371,47 $
Syscoin (SYS) – 10% = 13.632,33590075659 SYS = Current value = 1447,03 $
Nxt (NXT) – 10% = 26.178,69577737637 NXT = Current value = 381,48 $
PIVX (PIVX) – 5% = 657,2755141209072 PIVX = Current value = 325,20 $
NEM (XEM) – 5% = 3.822,688420312237 XEM = Current value = 405,72 $

Total current value =

~ 36.994,88 $

in the meantime there weren't any mega price differences that could bring the total to 1mio ...
 Wink
Your use of periods and commas almost gave me a stroke to be honest but I like that you did the math to see if OP really did make it to a million after 4 years, I want to see hopefully OP personally updating this thread because I think that it is appropriate that OP should do the updating.
900  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Campaign managers: If I were to make a post tracking service... on: June 25, 2021, 02:36:33 PM
Bounty managers may utilize it for sure because they have thousands of members participating on their campaign so its a lot hell of work for them everyweek but if you are talking about the signature campaigns which has very limited number of participants then they have less chance to take your service because they are supposed to do very little work and have to take a look at each members post manually or that is what they supposed to do.
Probably and not to mention that they have a bigger case of alt accounts with such a low rank requirement to join the campaign plus most of the people who joins their bounties are low quality or shitposters. If I were a campaign manager probably a beta test will help.
