We're doing wine slogans?

"Red or White, they both go good with something Dark"

A dark penis in your mouth maybe...sorry couldn't resist  Cheesy

Oh man...LOL, maybe not that one klintay!

But seriously...thanks Everyone for some really good ideas....I'm going to go over themwith the staff the next 24 hours and pick  the one that we like the most.  Most of you that are in Europe...I'll have to send ya drk's if you win.  Once I finish my sommeliers exam I'm going to be going to Burgundy and Loire for some PK & RD.  I could always bring wine with me...Wink.  Thanks everyone!!!!!

As many of you know we where the first brick and mortar business to accept DRK.  I'm looking for a catchy phrase to post up on our winery website that is about to roll out about Dark...I'll donate some drk or some fine wine to the winner.

Our winery is Misconduct Wine Co. and it should be something smart IE:  "At Misconduct...we believe what you do is your business...thats why we believe in privacy and promote DarkCoin" as an example...

We produce super premium wines, some in $100+ range so what we want for a phrase needs to appeal to that demographic.

thoughts?

Richard

"At Misconduct, we believe your enjoy our wines during your most special, intimate and private moments. That is why we offer you Darkcoin, to keep it that way."

?

nice!

My rough ideas:

--
Misconduct wine should be shared. Who you choose to share it with is your business. How much you spent on it should be the same. Proudly accepting Darkcoin.

--
Keep the price of your private fine wine collection private. Misconduct wine can now be bought with Darkcoin.

--

ohhhh.  I like the first one....

6) "At Misconduct we want you to enjoy your wine and stay classy!  Keep your life private - use Darkcoin! We will take care of the rest Smiley "

makes me think of...

"When you visit Misconduct...what happens here, stays here! Keep your life private - use DarkCoin, the completely secure and anonymous payment solution!  We will take care of the rest!"

Hi Tim...no use getting worked up.  Its hopeless and we have better things to work on then spend time with kind of ignorance.  I've put him on Ignore...and alot of the senior members have too.  Cheers!

btw, i don't accept drk for my business, because i don't know how to handle that tax and invoice stuff with drk.
my tax consultant doesn't even know what crypto is.

I'm with you in not knowing exactly how to handle taxation and invoices with crypto, I'm sure there are plenty of others in the same boat. And no doubt your tax consultant is not the only one oblivious to crypto - perhaps there is a niche in the market...

We accept drk at our winery no problem.  We total the invoice... Do a real time covert from fiat to the current drk price and that's it.  The tax is built into the fiat invoice and we just write on the invoice what the customer pays.  I could see a simple app someone can make that spits out the invoice in drk with the taxes % shown in drk too.

PS of course we just submit fiat to cra (canada) as they don't care how we got paid ad long as we are submitting on fiat the taxes on the fiat total. Wink

if you look carefully... FUD troll Grin

omg this is not even funny anymore, its pathetic Cheesy

but hey, if someone is paying you for this... you have to do your job Cheesy

Darkcoin to the end!!!!!!!!!!!

When you don't understand the different point of view you call it FUD or trolling ? Bravo!!!

Or maybe you are one of these guys who are praying for the moon action by the god of whales and when the true time comes you'll leave the train "first" Grin ?
I saw many "supporters" to do this here.
If you ask me I prefer a steady and continual growth of the price and market supported by real demand and investors who will set up a masternode or just buy goods with DRK than some speculative fests driven mainly by whales and bots, joking with the coin as they wish.

I see this crap action again and again with every crypto  Wink .
I agree!  I cringe when I see "to the moon" crap.  Its about slow gradual growth and hardening of the coin....and its under lying technology.  Anything with fast up or down swings shows market manipulation and scares new potential adopters away.  Steady as she goes boys(girls)...thats my motto.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] Darkcoin | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: February 18, 2015, 05:22:24 AM
Andreas Antonopoulos @ MIT Bitcoin Club

If you start at the 23:40 mark, you will hear him answer the first question.  Yes, it's regarding anonymity.  No, he does not mention Darkcoin by name.  You can see that he wants to say Darkcoin...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8y_GypCWf4&feature=youtu.be

Actually, I got the creepy feeling in this talk, that I haven't felt before, that Andreas was "speaking" the Bitcoin party line, not acknowledging how dangerous Bitcoin is, that they're not fungible, etc...  I mean just what Coinbase is doing with not accepting coins that have been through known gambling sites alone, is a failure point for Bitcoin, and Andreas glossed over that.

You're right, I felt like he did not say what he knew he should say, IMO.  Why is it? is what I wonder.  Has he sold his soul?  I'm a bit worried at this point.  Perhaps it was his audience?  Perhaps it was who paid for this talk?

I just got a creepy feeling... he seemed conflicted.  g2g thought, so I don't know how the whole talk went...
I certainly got the feeling he was conflicted... The fact that he said you would need "another"  coin to do anon tx was revealing.  That he mentioned that btc would probably never be anon... Then spent several minutes going on about how super important anonymity was ....was well Ummmm telling. I'm thinking this is a turning point... BTC core is now admitting that there is a serious hole in btc...listening to him trying to say it will be like "gold"  and a store of value sounded weak and in lieu of the lack of anon... Seemed hollow.  They know it... Why hold Ur "gold"  where everyone could see it and trace it?

Do not sweat it Otoh
i believe they will be coming back !
fingers crossed for you brother !!

good luck Otoh!  i know how it feels...mintpal did a number on me last go around!  lets hope for the best

lol, mintpal got me too, though I did get some back, bitstamp also but that all turned out very well, so hopefully will this time round with BTer, but it's just a risk one has to accept if one is going to trade on exchanges atm, so it's a bit unfortunate timing but doesn't upset me as it was my choice to take those risks.

I had a bunch of silk coins on there....did you ever get a contact to help deal with the mintpal?  The silk coins are weren't worth much..but its the principle of it.  Man...I was talking to one of the guys...and I was wondering if there was a may of using our MN system to come up with an exchange/processing model.  This whole thing of depositing fiat to some shady exchange somewhere...buying BTC then transferring it to another exchange to trade is not going to fly with joe public noob.   its a real hindrance to this whole ecosystem getting traction.

The legal "angle" we will pursue is whether the use of his words in your signature are tantamount to commercial uasgage.
If there is a case u guyshave a problem.

See u tomorrow

Interesting case. Let me know if you manage to set legal precedent for suing people who quote people on Bitcointalk. (And anonymous accounts at that).

You could be doing a lot of folks a favour here since they're running out of patience waiting for their Bitcoins to turn them into millionaires. On the other hand, if you manage to pull this off then all of us could could be sitting on a mutually exploitable goldmine given that this little button finds quite a bit of use round here.

Smart thinking ! (Specially since you're picking up the legal fees  Wink )

Hummmm.  Great point toknormal.   hell...if these 2 boozos can make precedent...I'll liquidate my crypto holdings and sue the pants off of everyone for far more money.  Wink

Dear Shadowcoin community,

We found one of your little children wandering around in our Darkcoin forums,
asking question after question after question about Darkcoin, Darksend and InstantX.
We gave him answers but it soon became clear his little child mind just couldnt handle it,
its was just not mature enough to cope with all the info.

So we decided to bring child_harold back to you guys, figuring you were all worried sick about his absence. I suggest you
all put him in a corner somewhere for at least a few hours and when he start crying pls just ignore him.

To child_harold :

Pls listen to these nice people in this forum and behave yourself then maybe, just maybe they will let you visit us again in a
few years when you grown more mature.

edit : oh, and pls stop making these fake accounts pretending yr not child_harold .. we grown-ups see right through that

best regards,

qwizzie

Don't worry guys, Child_Harold is our restless community member. We have become accustomed to his devotional SDC bigotry and to his intervention in the affairs of other communities. But Shadowcash is his lifestyle. Anyway i apologize on behalf of our community for his crazy behavior

Hi & thanks SDC community...I for one believe we are all entitled to support the community we believe in and should have a mutual respect for other communities.  Cheers everyone.

For someone that is supposed to be, and I quote, "Im rich"....he has very poor grammatical skills and spelling.  I would suggest that you allocate your riches on finishing high school and doing your ESL (english as a second language) Wink

Total Masternodes: 2091 = 2091 actives + 0 inactives

So it seems after the price rise, no masternodes were sold and if they were, they were replaced by other buyers immediately.

People are in this for the long run  Cool

"goggles on, no fear"

blah blah blah blah

Look clown...there are a lot of ummmm lets say alot of very well healed people here....I'm one of them.  I'm suggesting you not wait,  as I'd like to know on what legal bases and statue your attorney is advising you to act under  Roll Eyes...I want the fun to begin and if you were stupid enough to pay a attorney to create a legal document...lol...which they will gladly bill you for, I would know, I've spend 100's of thousands on lawyers in the past...then go ahead.

Then we can play kangaroo court for the next several years, the whole time your lawyer is milking you on...again, I know from experience.  Then there would be all the different global jurisdictions.  Don't even get me started on that.  I dont drink beer but for this stupidity, I'm buying some, mind you it will be craft bear lol and hunkering down to see your attorney at work.  Remember Mr. "Im rich" guy....there are lots of other rich peeps too.   Be careful that you don't get everyone fired up in here and start a multi-million dollar fund to help whoever you decide to bully.

LOL!

Good Lord, if you are short on Bitcoin, time to cancel it and go Long!!!  Grin Edit:  I hope I don't have to justify that this is directly related to Darkcoin Smiley

This is what we should be talking about, not the SDC travelling freakshow.

You are right, it was really entertaining, but now that there is a serisous subject we have to switch.

Yup....this is going to start a chain reaction that will have some very serious consequences.

Press what...?

his new book : "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

i think he should just press it, no idea why its taking him so long anyways

LOL...I'll buy the first copy! 0.5 DRK

Bad move.

You can't use an artists work for commercial use without their consent.

damn, didnt i just drop you off at yr own forum? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=745352.4840) how the hell did you get back here so fast ?

I will consult my lawyer in the morning about possible action to take in this matter. If doable we will contact DRK Foundation.

I am not Harold.
I am Spartacus.

And what ur doing IS wrong.

Bad move P3RS3US, the DRK Foundation's lawyer is waiting for you:

okay, thats just way too funny Smiley

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!  man I'm going to grab some popcorn.  I've just started my stop watch!
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] Darkcoin | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: February 16, 2015, 08:45:42 PM
Why don't you consult your lawyer for something useful like bringing Alex Green from Mintpal to justice or finding the truth about Bter's missing funds instead of something so silly?

Can we go back to discussing DRK?  I am sure the dev team is right now focused on making adjustments to anything they found as a result of the latest release.  I cant wait for the next version which I would assume should be about optimizations and fine tuning.  After that we can be on our way to continue with the roadmap.

I'd rather pay him for his time in a matter which might get results.

Pls change your signatures. I won't ask again.

You r using his words commercially to advertise yourselves without his permission.
That's a bad move IMO.
Ok...now your being a complete and total ignorant douche bag.  You may want to look up the word imbecile...sorry DRK community I'll refrain from lowering myself to their level with no further comments.

edit: Sorry...but I'm going to have to see these 2 clowns further actions...i'll keep it down though

Just to congratulate Mr/Ms P3RS3US for his/her well deserved win of the competition FWTIL  Grin

It wasn't easy but he/she managed to pull it off.

BTW FWTIL -> Fastest Way To Ignore List
on his first post no less...thats got to be some kind of record!  LOL.  wow I love coming in here and seeing some of this humor!
