881  Economy / Economics / Re: A good day to buy hard? on: September 13, 2015, 09:48:05 PM
i have hail mary double digit bids but im probly waiting until mid september

What if the gemini exchange changes your view lol.

They are super delayed, but it can change the price point on some levels.. I hope.

Gemini should come soon as far as I've read, they are done internal testings and the price has been already added to some websites of the style of bitcoinwisdom. I don't expect much to happen unless all those old money doubters start buying bitcoin en masse and at the same time. Other than that I expect a couple more months of a nice bullish stable low price which is perfect for me because that just means i can keep buying monthly and making entire units of BTC before it becomes mission impossible to do so.
882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Goxing?! Amagi Metals? on: September 13, 2015, 09:39:01 PM
I saw this guy (the CEO from Amagi) making a lot of interviews and saying how awesome Bitcoin was. I hope he is at least still a supporter. He took a big risk, way too risky to go 100% Bitcoin only. It's best to keep it fiat too, we are too early in the game to try to get a way with a successful 100% Bitcoin only business. Once Bitcoin is more known among "Normal" people then we'll see that kind of business having big success.
883  Economy / Economics / Re: Our financial problems are derived from money? on: September 13, 2015, 09:30:08 PM
Bullshit, technology will soon destroy all jobs and even only one human alone in the entire world will be unemployed.

Thats why politics, corporations and bakns are just stealing everything they can before that happen, they know it will happen.

Bullshit. First technology invented (the wheel) did not create unemployment. It created human progress and a higher standard of living. Even the wheel needed maintenance and improvement which created jobs.

Thinking that this will apply forever (new technology creating new jobs) is complete nonsense. Jobs are being replaced by new technology faster than new jobs arise. Look at the facts. In the past in a Volkswagen factory you would need 30 people to make a car, now less than 8. Soon this will be 1 person only supervising the automated machine. Same for all jobs. It's unavoidable. There are less and less new jobs coming up, and not everyone can be an engineer.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: September 13, 2015, 09:25:59 PM
nor Dollar or any other Currency will come to an end, because for Bitcoins their should be some currency to convert, if not their is no value for bitcoins. Only the Dollar fluctuation gives the strength to Bitcoins, because who ever wants to keep or invest in Bitcoins on the end of the Day he/she wants to convert Bitcoins to their Country currency.

This is complete nonsense. If all fiat currencies, and not only fiat currencies, if all other forms of value like metals died tomorrow, dissapeared, and only Bitcoin existed, then the price of Bitcoin would be made from an average of what people is paying for in terms of goods and services. The thing is, this is an absolute non sense scenareo because I don't see fiat currencies disappearing let alone metals.
885  Economy / Economics / Re: This is how 0.037 Bitcoins looks like in Venezuela on: September 13, 2015, 09:22:45 PM
is there anything they are doing to fix this hyperinflation. i have no idea how they're going to get out of this mess.

fiat form itself is a no option kinda situation for hyperinflation.

its why you see countries like japan are in the same route. Heck we are all in it as long the paper keeps printing.

what does japan have to deal with hyperinflation?

last time I checked the only reason why they are probably in that mess is because they dont rely on anyone period lol.

My spider sense is telling me that Japan has to get some wheelbarrows soon, because the YEN is going HYPER!!!!

http://www.nationaldebtclocks.org/debtclock/japan

Ironically that is how Bitcoinwisdom.com will look like once all the doubters jump in at once when they realize every second not invested in Bitcoin is suicidal. Im going to have a lot of fun seeing all those idiots critisizing Bitcoin now cry specially after such a looong period to store a lot of sub 300 USD Bitcoin at such a stable rate. People don't want to take any risks and get rewards then complain they always miss the boat.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quote of the Century on: September 13, 2015, 09:20:09 PM
Have fun trying to keep bitcoin decentralized with a blocksize big enough to keep all transactions, no matter what, on chain and with micro fees. This is unfortunately a pipe dream. Bitcoin or any other technology unfortunately deliver this so we are stuck with solutions like blockstream + "let a fee market develop" approach. So until someone comes up with a better idea just deal with it. It's better than centralized nodes.
887  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate womens to use Bitcoin? on: September 13, 2015, 09:16:56 PM
We don't have central company which will benefit from that. So there is no one who will give money just for that.

If BTC explodes, everyone using it will benefit from it.
And I think Circle gave away $5 for free a few months ago.

Girls will start using it once BTC explodes in terms of popularity because of a thing called snowball effect. Once someone that is a stablished authority that attracts females start using it then it will spread and females all over the world will start using it as well, it's pretty simple. Watch Justin Bieber tweet about it and BTC will be huge the day after, it's sad but it is what it is.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is cheapest to buy with bitcoin? on: September 13, 2015, 06:49:32 PM
The cheapest way is searching for all the availible markets and buying on the cheapest price, simple as that. Ideally, you want to wait some days before buying to confirm an upwards or downwards trend. If the price stays the same just buy. I buy some monthly, always, no matter what. If you are here long term it doesn't really matter if the price is 300 or 200. So keep on stacking, and one day history will compensate your effort.
889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attaching value/deeds to the Blockchain on: September 13, 2015, 06:23:11 PM
I envision a future where every country has their own sidechain and create their own national issued crypto currency their own rules, but ultimately everything being backed by Bitcoin which in return indeed the Bitcoin price goes up. I think if countries don't wan to use Bitcoin, they should use a sidechain, but not their own blockchain because it's just stupid to not use the Bitcoin blockchain.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can run but we are right behind you! on: September 13, 2015, 06:20:13 PM
Is that an actual game of agar.io or a tweaked screenshot? Would be cool to have a dedicated server where its only coin names allowed lol. I used to play agar.io a lot before it went to steam and got filled with dumb cod kids ruining yet another cool game. It's the side effect of success and I guess there is nothing to do about it.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting Bitcoin on Agar.io like a true hero! on: September 06, 2015, 06:26:43 PM
I don't see the appeal of agar.io and I've seen it here a lot.
Do you just make your circle eat the other circles?

It's just a dumb simple game but sometimes dumb and simple go on really well and become viral and if you designed the game you become a millionaire. So that's how you get rich, you get viral even if you do something really dumb. Case in point being the developer of Flappy Bird.
892  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Does runnin a node in pruning mode count as a node? on: September 06, 2015, 06:25:23 PM
If im not mistaking in the next version of core we will be able to run a node in pruning mode, so that's 1GB of blockchain only.

My question is if it count as a node, and what are the differences of not running a full node, in terms of security etc, what are you compromising in exchange a faster download of the blockchain? because im tired of downloading stuff everytime I open the wallet but I dont know at what% it becomes less secure if you run prune mode.
893  Economy / Economics / Re: A good day to buy hard? on: September 06, 2015, 06:15:17 PM
It depends on your perspective. Are you here to make a quick buck? then buy right now and take a wild guess of what the price will be in a mouth.

Are you here for 10 + years as a long term holder? Well, then you know the deal: buying anything below 4 figures is cheap as dirt Bitcoin.
894  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: September 06, 2015, 06:12:49 PM
It's funny how lately now media doesn't talk about Greece anymore and Greece has disappeared from most people's mind already. Just like Ebola etc. Next will be the Syria thing, after a couple of weeks we'll forget. I think next thing to be all over the media will be other countries of the EU going Greece and maybe China keeps crashing as well.
895  Economy / Economics / Re: can gold be a short-term investment ? on: September 06, 2015, 06:08:15 PM
IF you look at the all time graphs on gold you'll see that gold is either a long term investment or just a store of value. The pump and dumps happen in way less liquid markets such as BTC, and even then it's still not worth it, I mean if you want to gamble you might as well go to the casino.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the Future of Bitcoin Lies in Europe on: September 06, 2015, 05:58:42 PM
Bitcoin has to be global, that was the main point. If we start limiting Bitcoin by this or that country it will mean that Bitcoin failed. We must untie ourselves from the fiat system which is what is making us lag behind from where we could be at already. The future of Bitcoin is probably in unbanked countries as a bigger impact than developed countries since developed countries people are too dumb to realize on the fiat scam.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2015, 05:13:17 PM
Seems you have faced many problems by gambling in your past. Well I dont think to get out from gambling since it never ruin my life, but your decision to stop gambling is a great choice. You have chosen best option in your life Wink Good luck

It was a problem itself inside, you think that it doesnt ruin your life
But in fact it does, but slowly and gradually since you understand that.
If you think that I made a good choice then think also for yourself i think you need too Wink
Thanks, but I said its the best decision for your life, not mine Wink
The only thing that ruining people's life in gambling is the main motivation by them. If they really thinking that gambling is a source of money, well surely it will ruin their life. It can grow your bitcoin, but mostly cant make you be rich.

I like that you keep your opinion real about gambling even if you are promoting a gambling site. Some people change their opinion and start saying how gambling is awesome when they change their signature to some gambling website lol. Personally I think gambling should only be done with 5% of less of a monthly salary. And maybe, sometimes you can risk more if you are feeling lucky but never try to gamble again and again after lossing in a mad frenzy.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gavin Andresen: ‘Nobody Wants to be the High Priest of Bitcoin’ on: September 06, 2015, 04:55:12 PM
I don't understand who would like to see centralized nodes as a solution. We already got a way to address this which is by running nodes, so run Core or XT whatever you like. Sure I personally don't like blockstream solution but life's a bitch and I Don't see a better, realistic solution than that. Not every transaction ever can fit on the blockchain. Whatever coin can give us the same trust as Bitcoin that can scale worldwide with decentralized nodes that at the same time allows next to no fees and can do everything in-chain will be a potential Bitcoin killer I guess, but that's not going to happen anytime soon realistically.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT has code which downloads your IP address to facilitate blacklisting on: September 06, 2015, 04:50:34 PM
11% is not bad. good to have a choice now = XT

when people have to pay 1 USD for a transaction, people can switch to XT easily.
I hope that you understand this argument properly. Paying $1 as a fee for transferring $10M is really a lot. Bitcoin was never designed for very small purchases, and a substantial proposal/implementation is needed for this to happen. I really doubt that even with a big backlog of transactions that the fees would rise up to $1 in a short matter of time. Currently the optimal fee/kb is $0.03.

So who's winning, red or blue? I can't tell you guys apart anymore for all the name-calling and tantrums.
It is obvious.

What is a small purchase? a cup of coffee? Where did satoshi specifically say that bitcoin wasn't made to buy coffee but to buy I don't know... Xboxes? where is the cutoff from "this belongs in the blockchain but this doesn't because its too small"??
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT - Officially #REKT (also goes for BIP101 fraud) on: September 06, 2015, 04:48:49 PM
We are fucked with XT and we are fucked with 1MB blocks. Solution: A reasonable blocksize increase with blockstream. Unfortunately it seems you have to choose between decentralization of nodes or low fees for everyone (at the expense of centralizing the nodes).
