901  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 01:47:33 AM
I chose Bitcoin because it's the main Crypto-Currency among all, it was the first one to be created, the original one. Also I chose Bitcoin because I trust it, it was very well developed and with a decent purpose, I believe it wasn't only for speculation reasons, but for freedom of each individual that wants to make transactions via internet without paying lots of taxes or needing centralized services to be their middleman on financial operations.
902  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will be stable Bitcoin Price? on: December 09, 2017, 01:11:12 AM
I believe the only way to keep it stable would be to regulate it, what means Bitcoin wouldn't be decentralized anymore, it would become artificial like our local currencies. When something is going bad in our country and our money loses price the local banks and government intervenes to stable it, and in Crypto-Currency world it doesn't happen. So volatility is a characteristic of Bitcoin and I don't think it will change.
903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 50% correction on BTC possible? on: December 08, 2017, 02:50:58 AM
With the current continuing rise of Bitcoin price, we expect a correction coming soon. Do you it can reach around 50%? Give us your thought and own prediction.

Even bitcoin has big fluctuations difference it won’t be that huge, the price now is 16800$ per bitcoin and if 50% is possible 8400$ approximately and that won’t happen but that just my opinion. It will hold up to 10000$ as the lowest but that just my opinion. I or anyone can be wrong but it always be subjective to oneself and what have he experienced so far from the movement of bitcoin in his presence.

Things are so extreme these days that I don't doubt anymore to see a big increasement in price like that. Usually when the year is ending BTC is rising. When you wrote this post BTC was pricing $16800, now it's back to $17878 again. The price keeps going up although the little dumps, let's see how farther BTC can reach on this nice sequence. I would say everything is possible now, so keep alert.  Cheesy
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has seen the currency gain nearly $3,000 in a day - Is this healthy? on: December 07, 2017, 09:16:53 PM
I don't think so, because it's not solid. For some reason people started investing hard on it. The price you see is pure speculation, their money came too easy to Bitcoin then it goes too easy into fiat again and when this happen the BTC's price will fall hard. People are seeing Bitcoin as a way to grow their money in few days or weeks like never before, and it's never sustainable. It's doesn't mean we can't enjoy the season to make profit, just be prepared for anything.
905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its now the time to sell bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 07:36:50 PM
I think It is right time to sell. The price of Bitcoin has crossed 15k. It is too much and you can't expect more. Holding now is risky, as it could go down anytime.

Unpredictable scenario now. Big pump in a short time period and at this moment price is going up and down with facility, high fluctuations each few seconds. Holding is always risky, I think we are seeing something very new in Crypto-Currency world, new people are coming greedy to invest their money into Bitcoins and it will keep BTC price going up in my opinion.

Better to don't sell all your trading bankroll, sell just a part of it, the currently scenario worths the risk.
906  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 07, 2017, 07:25:57 PM
Yep folks it's down to 13 per claim now. That number 1 is in sight very soon now.

It's still $0.002 minimum reward hourly as always...
When BTC reaches near to $200.000 we could see 1 satoshi reward every hour.  Smiley

So better to enjoy the time now to accumulate maximum satoshis as possible.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Lucky moments during gambling? on: December 07, 2017, 03:17:58 AM
One of the most luckiest moments in gambling happened when I clicked by accident on Roll button of Dice game and it was configured with a low winning chance (few percents), then I felt my body freezed, because I wasn't prepared for that and I would probably lose a lot of money for nothing, luckyly I have won and that was a good feeling in the end... Anyway, from that moment on I started paying more attention before clicking Roll button.  Smiley
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin increase forever? on: December 07, 2017, 02:46:33 AM
The price will not increase forever, but also heavily depending on how far blockchain will de adopted and used to benefit some problems in the world, there comes a time where it will reach its max investors, looking at the way it has gone the last few months expect it to grow over the next few years.
Also keep in mind that besides bitcoin there are some very good other projects which are put to work in the world, there is alot of money flowing into these other alts.
Bitcoin price will not raise forever because some day it will reach to its full potential it will follow a normal curve it will go down eventually but for when will we can not say exactly when. there are lot of potential ICO that will raise and reign in the market place.but for now it will take for a while to surpassed the
height of BTC had reach.

It will go down when it reaches to its full potential or it will just become stable... When this time comes I don't know what will happen, maybe speculators will find another way to continue making profit with alternative currencies, that is a vast world, many different currencies can have the volatile characteristic while Bitcoin can become stable and useful only as a normal currency. Speculators would continue using Bitcoin, but not like before (what would make BTC price decrease a bit).
909  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is earning interest on freebitco a good thing? on: December 07, 2017, 02:03:26 AM
If you want a guaranteed return daily that is a good choice. The rates are low, similar to what banks pay us to let our money there, but the difference here is that you are earning interest in BTCs, making the investment worth much more than any bank saving accounts giving profit in fiat (that suffers depreciation on long term). FreeBitco.in is a trusted site operating since 2013 and has active support, especially on this forum.

But it's still a online service, so just invest what you are afford to lose. Don't invest all your Bitcoins on the site, split your balance into different legit investments (consider holding a kind of investment too  Cheesy ).
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 07, 2017, 01:03:34 AM
Gambling isn't a must, so no one needs to gamble. I think what you mean is why people keeps gambling, risking their money if it's a dangerous game which you lose lots of money. I think it's because gamblers feel they are powerful and skilled to make fast money without effort, different from most people in life. Others because they just want to have some fun trying their luck (average/rich people).

Basically it depends from one to another person.
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Christmas Gift: Bitcoin hits $12000 on: December 06, 2017, 07:34:02 PM
Christmas Gift: Bitcoin hits $12000

I think there is the possibility of Bitcoin price to reach nearly $18k. If it happens then it will be the best Christmas gift for all the Bitcoiners.

for now, I think its the best gift for all of the bitcoin user because the price is more than $11k. but I don't think that the price will increase nearly $18k although we have the possibility to see this price. I still happy with the price because this is my first time to see the highest price of bitcoin.

The price you talk about can be only possible in 2018 or 2019. Before it, this is not likely to happen from my percetption actually. It could be an amazing christmas gift your your family.

I agree, I think it's too much BTC pricing $18.000 by Christmas. There is nothing at this moment that could explain a big increasement in price like that. It's good to see price increasing, but it's even better to see the price increasing solid. Big pumps bring big dumps and fear to the market, especially for those who don't have experience on Crypto-Currency world yet, but invest money for real.
912  Economy / Economics / Re: will next decade be the bitcoin era ?? on: December 06, 2017, 05:36:22 PM
I think so. $10.000 milestone was a great achievement for Bitcoin and on the exctly time BTC hit $10.000 the "Bitcoin Era" started in my opinion. Many "economists" and other people that haven't said anything about Bitcoin, started talking about it and most of them trying to blame and defame Bitcoin. It's a clear signal Bitcoin is stronger than before and called the attention of many people that didn't know Bitcoin yet.

Now the challenge is to proove Bitcoin isn't a bubble and keep it rising in adoption and in price, otherwise the Bitcoin Era will be short and disappointing...

914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 'Buy and Hold' the Best Bitcoin Investment Strategy? on: December 06, 2017, 03:07:54 PM
I can't say it's the best, what is the best for me couldn't be for you. I would say it's the safest strategy available. Some people mix the hold strategy with trading, others prefer to invest their BTCs on the internet to maximize the earnings and receive passive income. Each one of these activities have their risks, so you must be aware about them before trying to make extra profit. Probably you are a newbie, so just hold for now...
915  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin indeed "looks" like a Ponzi scheme on: December 06, 2017, 02:47:55 PM
It's constantly happening and what we see next is that the price recovers itself, so what would this be? Maybe a sustainable Ponzi scheme that is always recreating itself even stronger? Increasements and decreasements in price are part of Bitcoin's nature, and although there is speculation, there is utility for Bitcoin, so it doesn't seem a Ponzi.

The price recovers itself because in my opinion we haven't seen a real hard drop yet. Even the "big crash" that happened in 2013 was due to a platform hack, so it joins the category of "heavy weights fluctuations".

As I said, we are still very early in the curve of acceptance. The more users get in, the easier it is for bitcoin to recovers. My fear is : what happens when the curve of acceptance is done ? What happens when nobody new comes into the market ? The price will be unpredictable.

The huge advantages of bitcoin are about being used as a currency (security, transaction immutability, privacy...), otherwise its value lays on nothing (or maybe the physical electricity that miners invested to secure transactions and generate new bitcoins). That's why, if nobody use it as a proper currency, it IS a Ponzi : you invest, sell at higher price, the one who bought does the same, etc etc... until there is nobody left to buy it, no new users.
I didn't say that it was in reality because, as Mometaskers, there is some actors that consider using it as money, but we need heavy weights AND user support. HODLing will become dumb at some point.

Well, the 2013 big crash was a real hard drop anyway. On that time people could stop using Bitcoin, but they didn't. If a hard drop happen again people will remember that day and won't fear to continue using Bitcoins.

I believe when nobody new comes to Crypto-Currency world, it will be because all the world's population or a big parcel of this population will be already using it and many different businesses will be already accepting Bitcoin or/and other Crypto-Currencies as payment methods. There will be a use for this, without speculation we can surely see a drop in price, but not enough to "Kill" the currency.

And don't forget gambling industry, it's helping to bring more people into Bitcoins, and not only for the speculative reason, but the recreational one. It's an industry that moves really huge amounts of money on the world.
916  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin indeed "looks" like a Ponzi scheme on: December 05, 2017, 03:32:47 PM
It looks like a Ponzi scheme because, when every potential bitcoin users of the population will have exhausted all of their "potential of speculation", there will be nothing left to sustain the price of the bitcoin.

Now that BTC price is hiting awesome numbers I have seen experts trying to blame it, they say Bitcoin is pure speculation and for this reason it can't be considered an investment.
917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: December 04, 2017, 01:34:55 PM
Bitcoin + Litecoin.

If you analyze prices you can see LTC price increases a lot too as BTC increases its price. It's a good option of stable AltCoin investment. Some days ago LTC was pricing $80, then now it's $96 (but days ago it was pricing more than $100). Holding many LTCs you can have a high profit, but it's always better to keep most funds in BTC anyway, "Alt"Coin is an "alternative" investment.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: shopping with BTC on: December 04, 2017, 01:23:02 PM
If you buy something with BTCs it's already good for BTC price as you are using the currency and moving it on the market, if the seller exchanges it into fiat it's another story... And it's not a problem at all, seems a sustainable system. Bitcoin is always in circulation, people are always using it to buy things, sellers are always exchanging into fiat and other people are always buying BTCs from these sellers to buy more stuff again.
919  Economy / Securities / Re: INVEST IN CANADIAN MINING FARM. on: December 03, 2017, 01:36:49 PM
Escrow would work, yes. (But if you have money to give escrow you don't need investors, right?  Grin )

This offer seems very good to be true as we are talking about mining.

How does it work? I send $20 and I keep receiving income for how much time?

I think you need to give more informations about your business, people want to see real evidences there is really a mining operation happening there.
It’s not tgtnt is it?
Invest 20 get 25
Invest 30 get 35
And so on.

That is all you have to say? Where are the pictures of your place where you will put the mining equipments?

I think you were smart when talking about profit rates. It's easy to pay profit in dollars, it's hard to pay profit in BTCs. Probably when investing on such business we would receive less BTCs we invested as the price is constantly increasing. The ROI in BTCs might never happen...
920  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Merry Christmas from yahoo62278(3rd prize added) on: December 02, 2017, 03:56:37 AM
Well, two years ago, I was discovering the Crypto-Currency world. I didn't have a source of income, no job, no plans for the future, I was just
living one day at a time... But then I was introduced to Bitcoins, started collecting every penny I found on Crypto-Currency world: satoshis, litoshis, dogetoshis... And continued even when their prices were cheap and the rewards were low.

Finally I had hope. Their prices could increase on the future and those pennies could become a nice amount of dollars. So I started imagining about plans for the future, what I could do with the profit from this new world, how I could use it in a worthful way, something solid that could generate prosperity.

Then the time passed, BTC became even stronger and I could start putting into practice my plans using my savings. So I started my natural fertilizer production in real life, what have been a good occupation for me. Although it's not very profitable like other jobs, it's something I like to do and makes me happy and that isn't all, I would like to produce even more stuff if I have the chance, but for now I don't have the necessary budget yet.
However I have many other ideas about businesses/productions, sometimes I'm doing anything, then an idea comes to my mind, I go to google and start searching about it... That is a good feeling!

So that is it. Along the last years I didn't spend much money with me or people around me, I'm just saving everything maximum as possible to be able to put in practice my plans, make business and build a stable life. That isn't an easy task, but with effort, organization and focus it's possible!

If you liked the story (although it's not the end yet), I would use the reward money to buy a Christmas gift, because after so much time without buying anything I think I deserve some entertainment if I have the chance (or the money) for it.  Cheesy
