And anyway, the problem is that to keep a price of 1 satoshi, you have to sell the coin to a large population.
Let's say bitcoin users are about 100M, that means you have to sell 10M Byteball to each of them to keep a price at 1 satoshi. Anything lower will make it trade in Litoshi or in Wei.

I think nobody here talked about trying to keep the price at 1 sat, and nobody's expecting to exchange 1 byte for 1 sat. Surely peolpe will exchange kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes, and so on; so there isn't actually any problem.

BTW: i already PM AhmedAshraf signature campaign manager about my issues it's  about 1 week but still didn't get respon or reply from him, there is another way to contact signature campaign manager?

Try your luck on Slack. Having said that, I think the appeal form is your best shot here ...

Decent already trading on the stock exchanges is why I can`t bring their coins of the ICO Account Huh

ARE THEY IOUs like on liqui?

Yep, on Liqui and Yuanbao. I also remember seeing some post(s) related to Openledger.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: December 15, 2016, 09:01:59 AM
Antshares focusing only/more on Chinese exchanges/projects doesn't seem that relevant price-wise. Yes, Chinese + non-Chinese adoption will give Antshares more potential, yet any adoption is good.

The issue here is that there's a lack of updates. We've heard a while back that Antshares was communicating with 5 western exchanges, this probably hasn't advanced but a "we're still working on getting listed" or something like it, is better than nothing. Maybe give us the list, some of us could contact these exchanges and it may speed up things, you never know. Also concerning technical updates, we don't have much information, for instance, concerning the Mac wallet, we only know that it's been under development for quite sometime now ...

Sometimes Antshares posts stuff on their blog, but:
1- It's not as much accessed as this thread (by the Bitcointalk community, me included).
2- It takes ages to load.

A regular update here on this thread will give investors more visibility on the roadmap and sustain faith in the project. Even if there's no major update, there's always something to say unless you're on vacation, well actually there has always been communication about this one Smiley.

Filtering of microtransactions sent from exchange wallets already works in fully automated mode, so no need to apply any other measures.

Okay, well I might have missed something then. The last thing I remember, is you asking for someone to confirm that one suspect address was a Bittrex one (which it was), so I was under the impression that you filtered out exchanges' addresses manually once they were added, suspected and confirmed.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Avast detects a virus in blocks folder when downloading the blockchain on: December 14, 2016, 02:03:28 PM
I'll recommend Avira. I used to use AVG free for a while, but my computer got a virus (SearchProtect, IIRC), which was even obious to me, but didn't seem to want to be detected by AVG. I then uninstalled it and sent through a phase looking for a good AV. I went from AVG, avast, Norton malwarebytes and bitdefender, and finally Avira, which was the only one that detected it.

Thx for the suggestion. I remember trying Avira for a limited period of time a while ago, I remember it needing more resources than Avast, but maybe it's not the case anymore. I also had Norton and AVG and these also needed more resources. If you say Avira can detect viruses that Avast won't, maybe it's worth the additional resources. Have you switched to Avira recently or was it a while ago?

Yes, yes, yes. Wait for your tokens at your cabinet LMAO!!

I am not waiting for my tokens in my cabinet or any other place, for the simple reason that I didn't invest (reading back a bit would've made you figure out that much ...), I'm just an objective observer Wink. Glad you are LYAO!! (not that you should be laughing when peolpe are potentially getting scammed). Have a good laugh Wink.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum [XAUR] on: December 13, 2016, 08:50:36 PM
1 page of people posting during 3 days, that is not much activity imo.

I agree with you, yet if you go back some ten pages or so or if you check posts sometime after the end of the ICO, there was even less activity. Anyway, given what Aurum Project has posted, the team seems to be working on setting up masternodes, consulates, new features, a roadmap and the goldmine. Let's hope for the best.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Avast detects a virus in blocks folder when downloading the blockchain on: December 13, 2016, 08:22:16 PM
You better change to another antivirus like eset nod32 its more accurate than avast, because avast sometimes very strict and could not identify actual virus database even if you updated it from the virus database. I can really prove it exactly because i had an experience with avast for 3 years of pc servicing, i fail from it due to viruses was stack at drive without even detected by avast and detected some false viruses which is a part of the installed games which cannot harm my computer. I think that the problem stated in the detected virus while downloading the blockchain was false detected by avast.

Thx for the suggestion. Didn't know about this software, always used Avast, it's free, doesn't use a lot af resources and does the job (I think). I'll look into nod32.

SebastianJu denied he was the escrow after the dev claimed he was using him.

The projected falsely claimed they had escrow, but the truth is no escrow at all, scam confirmed

Guys, please read a few pages back before accusing and drawing hasty conclusions.

This issue has been addressed before, everybody who closely followed this thread from the start knows that there was a misunderstanding. apriyoni (Nodio) never claimed SebastianJu was their escrow, they said they were in negociation with him (that is old story now). Nodio also has an escrow, but he is not from Bitcointalk (check the first post).

For the time being nothing says this is a scam (or not). What we have so far:
- apriyoni not logging in for some time.
- Investors telling us their funds didn't move and their tokens appearing on their accounts.

No actual investor came here shouting they were robbed ...

In my opinion, apriyoni just couldn't put up with the accusations here and decided not to log in anymore (which is not a solution) ... Anyway, it's too early to say anything with certainty.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum [XAUR] on: December 13, 2016, 07:52:13 PM
Everything got so silent here recently, did something happen or just stuff happening in the background?

What do you exactly mean? There used to be times when the only (notable) updates were Mints ... Now, there's one more exchange, a sig campaign is running and users post everyday ... So, for me this thread is getting more active. And yes stuff is always happening in the background, at least that's what investors hope Wink.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ♘ Bellacoin - Rename - Belacoin on: December 12, 2016, 04:07:29 PM
We can all agree that it is big news when we are able to deliver a working wallet to a coin that did not previously have one

Yes we can, but this wasn't the case. Once nodes were added, the wallet synced and sending/receiving was possible. For me, these are the main functions of a wallet and they were okay, so the wallet was working. Anyway, your work is appreciated Wink.

or when we give out $500 for people to simply click a retweet button. The thunderclap campaign should help us reach well over 100,000 people, shouting out that even better times are ahead for Belacoin.

These are not what I would personally qualify as big ... Yes it will offer more visibility, the effect might be big but the news aren't (in my opinion). These are indeed good initiatives, I just don't agree with calling them massive and major.

And we haven't even begun to talk about our big December surprise.

Now that you have unveiled a bit about it, let's see what comes after.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Avast detects a virus in blocks folder when downloading the blockchain on: December 12, 2016, 03:41:38 PM
Write them a mail, at the very least they should ask and not just delete the files.

I just checked, Avast is configured to repair, if it fails, it tries to move the infected file to quarantine, if it fails, it deletes it. I don't remember if this is the default setting or if it was mine Smiley. Anyway, I changed it to ask Wink, I think it's better than to exclude files/dirs, you never know. Thx.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Avast detects a virus in blocks folder when downloading the blockchain on: December 12, 2016, 03:22:48 PM
Hi,

Having read what is written on other similar threads, I assume that the issue I am facing is a false positive. I am posting it in case there is a chance it can be something else ...

So, when dowloading the blockchain for Bitcoin core 0.13.1, on Windows 10 64 bits, Avast alerts me that a virus has been found and that it will be deleting it. Here is what it logs/deletes:

Code:
C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\blocks\blk00129.dat [L] Frodo (4k, 200 years) (0)
C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\blocks\blk00129.dat [L] Leprosy (0)
C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\blocks\blk00129.dat [L] Syslock (0)
C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\blocks\blk00129.dat [L] Murphy (0)
C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\blocks\blk00129.dat [L] AntiCad-4096 (0)
C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\blocks\blk00129.dat [L] BV:Akuma-A (0)

I'll be configuring Avast to ignore the blocks directory in order to move on. If anyone have an(other) advice, please don't be shy Smiley.

Thank you.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 10, 2016, 10:14:45 PM
Why would lowering the micropayment be riskier than with the current micropayments? (because they would be easily spotted?)

Because the attack would become cheaper, hence worthwhile.

mmmm, in my opinion the attack is already worthwhile, anyway such an attack won't succeed unless the attackee is not vigilant and doesn't double check their address (as the bot instructs them), so why not lower it if it permits to filter out exchanges addresses at the detection process (not requiring you to check suspect addresses)?

People do make mistakes, and having to be overly vigilant scares them off.  I'd rather have a more comfortable environment for the entire process.
The attacker's ROI depends on 3 factors:
- % of people who do not check that the address is theirs after receiving a second notification "Received your payment from ..." (the attacker's microtransaction is almost certainly later than the legitimate one)
- average balance of such users
- cost of attacking, which is the average amount of the microtransaction
By lowering the cost, we turn the ROI at some point from negative to positive.

I see your point. If you are comfortable with filtering out exchanges addresses after adding them and then investigating them, then there is no need to lower the micropayment. Yet, I still think lowering it would easily filter any exchange address out as the transaction won't be possible to begin with. (and if I were an attacker, paying (n times) 0.000x instead of 0.0000x wouldn't hurt my ROI that much Smiley).
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: December 10, 2016, 09:57:45 PM
It only takes 100 BTC worth of buys across 3 exchanges to go back up to 0.000255 BTC ico price

That's the ICO price if you bought with the 20% bonus, the mean ICO price was more like 0.0003. On Bittrex the price is almost half of that, which is still 1.5 times the price of the first ICO, but still ... I personally didn't factor the first ICO price in when I invested ...

I'm confident that whales are accumulating cheap ANS now and waiting for the right time to get a pump going in order to create enthusiasm for the project, investors, and devs.

If ico investors are happy with a profit, then it creates a positive feedback loop that attracts more business partners, supporters, and investors to the project.

Yep, we all hope that. It's still sad to see such a promising project follow such a road (for short-term), but hey that's the market. Having ANS listed at least on one other exchange would make the price rise a bit I think. It is still a mystery to me how exchanges decide to list a coin or not ...
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum [XAUR] on: December 10, 2016, 09:38:37 PM
I thought Xaurum is listed on Yobit I tried to search using the acronym Xau but the coin that came out was Xaucoin, why is it not listed on Yobit,it is a good chance with so many active traders .if the dev can get it on YOBIT,it has a good chance to increase marketcap and price too.

Why do we need Yobit if we already have Bittrex?

It seems being listed on several exchanges is somehow healthy for a coin, new buyers/sellers, new markets. When Xaur was listed on livecoin some days ago, it reached 18.5k sats and traded for around 15k for 2 to 3 days there, whereas it was trading at below 13-14k on Bittrex and C-cex ...
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: December 10, 2016, 12:17:32 PM
Can I get ANC by keeping ANS in an online wallet on the antshares website?

You do not need a wallet to get ANC, but only to claim them. ANC are automatically assigned to addresses depending on their balances after each block. If you don't want to claim them (and for now, I don't see any reason to claim), then you don't need a wallet. Having said that, the answer to your question would be yes.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ♘ Bellacoin - Rename - Belacoin on: December 10, 2016, 08:00:31 AM
Please The Ambia Fund, just stop tagging news as major/exciting when they aren't ... I don't know how high other people's expectations are, but mine are very high. When you say you have exciting news, I don't expect a Thunderclap campaign ...

Just to be clear, I'm not saying you guys won't deliver/succeed, it is just that you try to build up excitement out of nothing, which is marketing Smiley, but when you release the news, it's upsetting ...

You gave (are giving) false hopes to investors by comparing Belacam to Steemit.
You did the same when you talked about major news and you then released a vulgarization pdf.
You called your $500 giveaway massive on slack.

The only thing I consider major for now is your scholarship project, and at this point I don't expect anything really major by the end of December, I really hope the opposite will happen though. By using high expectations words and not living up to the promise, you just make people (at least me) lower their expectations i.e. lose faith ...
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 09, 2016, 05:50:10 PM
not sure if this got asked.
If i get airdropped on for linking a btc address and i sell all my bytes, but never move my btc, do i get airdropped on for the following rounds? all i saw is that its weighted differently but didnt see if theres a penalty for not hodling.

i think not because airdrop must be proved like yur btc for next round..sorry if i'm not allright dev will correct me.

No, Tony said that the linked bitcoins stay linked for the following rounds (if you don't move them).

airdrop isn't btc..dont feed the confuse..pls

Well, as I understand it, BTC and bytes from the first round are not supposed to be blocked for someone to participate in the distributions. Having only BTC counts for the second round, having only bytes counts too, having both counts obviously.

CryptKeeper, I can't find a reference to what you say about not moving your BTC to be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds, can you (or someone else) point it out please?
920  Local / Annonces / Re: [ANN] Byteball on: December 09, 2016, 05:38:50 PM
