921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GeckoAI - new AI project. Crypto analysis and prediction of new growth on: May 27, 2023, 04:29:08 PM
Did the team temporarily halt the project? Updates stalled for a few months , The twitter account also only has 3 followers and a few short tweets, it's really sad
sounds like a failed project to be honest, after all who truly invests in AI project, even though it has started some trend few months back, but this AI trend isn't really long lasting, heck even at the start of the trend it isn't as big as meme coin.

I will give this as a warning signals to us all that might be interested on investing in any of the AI development or projects as the case maybe, am not saying it's a bad idea or condemning the innovation behind everything in it but what we must to consider is the stage or face we are into as at now on this cause, which ia still a developmental stage, and i think investing on any by now will impose more risk on loosing money eince many of thos organizations promoting this have not even stated fully not to talk about investing with them, many are only using this avenue to scam those interested in it for now, let's be guided.
I personally believe that AI projects will still have it's spotlight on the bull market. Actually I that AI project had launched on a good time where they can still make development about their product. But there are projects that took advantage of the trend and launched their project to gain funds and further scam their investors. We will see next bull market what AI project will be on top of their game. Just be careful on investing as scam projects are increasing nowadays just like this one that shows inactivity which is a big red flag.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: May 27, 2023, 04:00:00 PM
Gambling is something that someone uses for their personal entertainment or income. some also come here to try their luck. Therefore, since gambling is used for the personal purpose of a person, he must bear the responsibility of his win/loss. no one will be liable for any investment not just gambling. because when there is a profit from the investment, the share of the profit is not given to anyone, so everyone has to take personal responsibility for their personal profit/loss.

The gambling is based on the entertainment platform and it involves of real money and it give additional entertainment as compared to other gaming. The people who want to use their luck to win money will use the gambling platform. The luck also give them some huge profits and make them to multiples their investment. But for some people the gambling luck also reversed and make them to lose entire money into the gambling. The people want full profits from their investments, they can use of cryptocurrency trading as compared to gambling. When they planned to use gambling, they should take responsibility for the win or loss. The gambling profits will not share by them to the gambling website,So they also act in same way of loss.
There two major reason why people do gambling. One primary reason is to make profit which is the common one and the other one is to be entertained, experience the adrenaline rush and dopamine as they wager their money on a casino. There are people that has other reasons. We play do gambling because we want to gain something or achieve something and this is why people gets addicted to because of not fulfilling it or not getting enough of it. Failing to do their goals may result to addiction and becoming irresponsible of their actions.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to stake your crypto currency on: May 27, 2023, 03:21:29 PM
In most custodian wallets like trust wallet staking is available for most crypto currencies including trx.is it better to stake such a coin or hodl it

if you are investing for the long term, then staking is the right choice, because it can help you to increase the number of your coin that you invest, but if you are investing for the short term or trading, then my advice is that you better not do staking, because if the price of coin that you invest has increased very high, then you can't sell it right away to take profit, so it's better for you to just hold it in your wallet and not staking it.
If one wants to invest for a long term then staking will be very profitable. By staking the coins will increase and on the other hand if the price of the coins will increase then it will be profitable in all directions. But I think short term trading is very profitable due to some reasons.  If you make some profit, it will become a very large amount at one time. And there is very little chance of loss.
I don't think so. Imagine people stake their coins during bull market up today, I'm pretty positive that most of them is on negative right now. Staking is not applicable to majority of the altcoins out there and you can possibly earn in it if you really trust the possible growth of the altcoin that you use in staking. If staking is a very profitable way with a little chance of losing, I'm sure that most of us will only do staking and stop trading, investing or other types of way to make a profit. Everything that has to do in making profit has a risk and for me I don't consider staking to have "a little chance of losing".
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Relying on someone else's signals on: May 27, 2023, 03:02:05 PM
honestly though, rely on the other signal seems like you just not ready for your carreer in investment and trading, but it's still understandable for many of the newbies that might still trying to find their way, so long you don't rely too much on these signals at the end of the day.
At the end of the day, They just want to make profit as all of us wants. Receiving or checking out signal doesn't mean you don't have a good future or will have a good growth on trading. Everyone of us has our own way of learning and there are people who tend to rely on signal to learn and have growth as time goes on. There are also people who rely on signal just because they only want profit and they don't really want to spend a hassle learning trading, I know someone who don't like to spend time on learning deep on trading this is why he rely on signals. I don't find it wrong but the only thing about this "signal" thing annoys me is the fake signal groups or self declared trading guru that ask everyone to pay them for some signals.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: May 27, 2023, 02:18:57 PM
I found out in the blockchain world, many people are losing patience when they start to invest in a project. Their understanding about "long term" is no longer years but weeks.

Some project need time to build and shape. What do you think?
If they think that investing is just for mere weeks, they failed as a long term investor. Actually the growth of project/altcoin investment here is too fast compared to traditional investment which literally took years for your investment to get a significant amount of profit. I guess the cryptocurrency volatility is what makes them think that a long term investment will only need weeks to grow. We invest on the project product and that kind of product doesn't come in an instant and some product take years to create or build. Investing on that kind of real project is what long term investment is. When the time comes that they grow, you also grow.

Even with high bankroll martingale can easily eat and deplete you fund especially when you encounter a series of reds in your roll. 20+ red streak can possibly make your bankroll negative  and we all know that 20+ read streak is very possible.  I even experience this in spinning a slot. 20+ dead spin.  Imagine if I martingale my bet and I experience that 20+ streak.
If someone doesn't realize that getting to 10+ is a sign, he should stop immediately and doesn't stop gambling. Instead, he will only run out of money if he uses big bets, especially if he gets 20+ a series of reds.

For slot games, usually after getting several losses, we can get a win which, even though it's a small win, can make us continue to gamble. So for gambling, I think it's really worth it if we stick with small bets even though we have a big bankroll because it sure hurts to see all our balances used up that day.
Usually that is true, but not every single time. You could get a lot of losses that will eventually make you run out of money and there is no return from there, it just doesn't work like that. I have seen people turn just a few dollars into thousands of dollars and then end up losing it all back again. Casinos have house edge on their side which means that it would not be possible for anyone to just keep on gambling and win.

If you gamble long enough, then you are going to end up with a loss eventually and that is the end of it, that's just going to be the case for sure, without a doubt. I hope that it gets to a point where it will not be possible for anyone to just keep on gambling for a long time and still not face 20+ losses in a row, if you keep gambling, you will reach that one day.
Reaching 20 losses in a row is not much, I have seen up to 40 losses in a row , that when I was playing at that time I came to think that the casino did not want to let me win more and that they were signing me up to lose, but then I began to Investigate about the probably fair and from there a great interest came from many people who wanted to beat the system, and remembering those times where I played so much, I wonder if the AI in the near future if it has that capacity, because it is not difficult for it nothing to learn, it is a matter of days , for you to Learn something at a master level.

honestly it's hard to imagine that a person can lose 40 consecutive times, to be honest that person even playing dice at auto bet won't have so much bad luck to the point of losing a lot consecutively, but nothing is impossible in gambling, if the person loses more than 5 consecutive times in sports betting, then this person needs to stop playing with greater urgency, otherwise this person will be walking towards addiction and will sell everything he has to continue playing, because in games of chance in which luck depends on winning if the person is not lucky enough to win something considerable even when he has played many games then he needs to stop playing that game and try another game

I saw a lot of people playing plinko for example and so I thought about playing too, at first I managed to convert from 5$ to 13$ but for some strange reason since I started losing, I didn't stop losing until I reached 0$, honestly that day I felt bad, but so bad that I stopped playing plinko forever, until my day turned bad, I couldn't understand how it was possible to lose so much, from 13 to 0 in a short time, but today I see that gambling that depend on luck are not worth playing because I won't be lucky to win something
Oh wow, 40 consecutive red is a wild. I haven't seen that kind of number on a losing streak in my whole life. I will personally reflect on myself if on that kind of losing streak. If you manage to lose 40 times in a row means you have balls of steel to try to gamble again and an incredible amount of unluckiness on your side. Our luck can't be measured but if we experience a bad day, it would be nice to still have money to take home and not letting all of your money getting burned on a casino. Casino can easily remove your luck even if you won multiple times on different days, Casino only took hours to get back all of the profits that you gained on several days of playing.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be pulled by the hype of meme coins on: May 26, 2023, 08:07:17 PM
I completely agree with you, because it’s like an inflatable balloon, as long as there is a hype on a meme coin, this balloon inflates, as soon as the hype passes and this coin is not technologically backed up, this balloon bursts immediately and with it the price drops instantly. Many scammers are heating up on these price fluctuations in the markets.
This is why people should be careful on buying meme coins especially if they are considering it as an investment which is logically not an investment. It's widely known that meme coins are just getting carried by the hype of the community and if the balloon deflates, everyone will flock selling their meme coins and price will just go down. I hope no one really consider buying meme coin as an investment and planning to hold it for long time. I don't see any future in it especially those new ones because I think they are just riding the trend and just want to get profits in the trend. Don't catch falling knife folks!
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting patiently for the next bull run... on: May 26, 2023, 07:30:56 PM
Not a good way to shill meme coins. But I personally don't think meme coins will thrive next bull run, there are some that will rise but I don't think there will be a massive rise will happen to majority of meme coins. I'm speculating that only the established meme coins with a solid community will experience a price bump during bull run as other top altcoins will achieve. I'm pretty sure that the trend at that time is different and the meme coin trend is degrading at that time just like the NFT hype was over. People will notice really good projects that has a real utility that will help the market go into a bull run.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Pi mining networks real? on: May 26, 2023, 06:52:42 PM
no one knows because this project is from the end of 2018 I know until the day I don't determine its development in the intended mainet, the uneven implementation of KYC makes it doubtful to do kyc if you get an invitation

So many people have been clariffying if that was another scam. There's nothing more than it as a scam coin. The dev were brainwashing people to mint this shit scam coin. The dev took advantage by fooling people to clicking adds when they are mint this shit scam coin on their phone.

This project is not real. The only stupid people who keep believing this is real.
I remember TBC with this coin to be honest. They are using people to and make them believe that the coin will rise, also there are pi merchant believers that are accepting pi as a payment on what they are selling. It also happened on TBC which is a big scam. Since then, I don't really believe in this coin since it's very suspicious starting from their mobile mining app where nothing is really being mined, doing KYC to their members for greater rewards and now which is making the public believe that they will be rich with this coin. Unknowledgeable people are the one who are am I pertaining as public.
931  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 26, 2023, 06:24:42 PM
Do you remember the time when Yobit signature campaigns were flooding the forum? It was a lot of hard work trying to discourage members from participating in their signature campaigns and then having to unfortunately tag accounts. Many forum members worked tirelessly voicing their opposition to Yobit and at some stage during the backlash they left the forum and have since not returned.

That was one example of the community getting together to try to minimise the impact of a scam outfit here.
I remember those days very nicely. The whole forum was filled with Yobit shills which made sense since they were paying them handsomely. Felt like 50% of the posts in this forum were by Yobit shills.

They would have continued their campaign in this forum just like 1xbit for a long time, but messed up by not following the forum rules effectively.
I believe that yobit has their own forum now as far as I remember that yobit campaign members slowly transitioned to the new forum where yobit signature members will do their shills. The pay of yobit is good enough that time that majority of the users here have been joined in their campaign but yeah they disappeared. I'm just waiting for the 1xbit campaign to tripped into some rules and get removed from this forum. Their members literally sacrificed their accounts for the sake of joining their campaign. Sooner or later if 1xbit signature campaign disappeared, I'm pretty sure that most of their campaign members will disappear also.
932  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: May 25, 2023, 02:03:13 PM
Changing of terms and conditions without notifying the users or gamblers is normal with online gambling websites? Then when you did something wrong or about to withdraw your money they will tell you that you don't read their terms and conditions, and you start arguing with them until you decide to read the ToS again and you find out that it's different.

Some gambling websites consist of wicked owners that willingly plan to defraud their users using the ToS against them, or is this normal? Have such happened to anyone on this forum before?
Terms and condition can change from time to time and casino indicate it in their ToS that they are allowed to change the casino terms any time they want. Things will change if the casino used it against you. Things aren't right if casino won't let you withdraw because of history you have in the past before they implement the new ToS. One example of this is country eligibility, If you did play on a country that recently banned online casino and you of course withdraw your funds because you can't play there anymore. Then suddenly casino barged you with KYC prompt and tell you that you are now illegal to play in their casino because of the country restriction which caused you in forfeiting your money because of a rule that you don't have any control at all. Things are plain wrong that way. It's just an hypothetical example and I hope that no one became a victim on that kind of scenario.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: May 25, 2023, 01:22:03 PM
The FTX collapse last year has made a lot of people remove mind trust on them, because of the mistake the company made, which causes a lot of damage, and lost of funds, which is also affect me as well during the time, I was liquidated in future trading position, before I could release source of dipping market, was too late, Having said that the trust of FTX  collapse has more long way to go enable to build back the trust to the company.
It's true that people lose a lot of trust especially on trusting centralized exchanges. Though this put CEX into providing more quality services to users as people now are aware of the potential risk of centralized exchange. They need to improve to gain back the trust of the people that awaken their though about the risk they are into. As much as we can, we shouldn't store our money on CEX because of the history of it and the potential that it will happen again. Majority of people who become a victim of the FTX collapse won't be using it anymore and this is why the recovery of FTX is just a long shot chance.
Pag masyadong malaki yung na hack nila like organization, projects, or anything na malaki is I think mahihirapan sila ilabas yung kasi maraming naka bantay sa funds since alam naman natin na nakikita yun sa blockchain this is why I think mas ok na maliit nalang yung makuha nila compared sa wala. About naman sa mixers is indicated sa article na sanctioned na yung mixers like tornado cash at paonti ng paonti nalang yung options ng mga hackers. But yeah, iba padin yung usapang small time hacking. Walang reward dun yung mga hackers, yung hacked funds lang talaga . Compared sa big hacks na may bounty offers and pwede ka pa ma recognized as "white hat".
935  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFTonSPIN.com - Leading Crypto Casino With Get Full Refund If Not Satisfied on: May 24, 2023, 06:06:43 PM
tbh, i decided to write in here after 4 days of waiting thinking that they might process it due to community pressure in here, and actually they processed it in 1 hour after writing in here and writing them through email, i m not sure, it would be processed if i didnt do something like this and if amount was higher, but in the end they paid it.

But imo i wouldnt deposit any real money coz, like many others said, offers are way too good to be true, and still site seems very amateurish (layout, games etc)

But again like i said, they PAID it...
Oh wow so they really paid someone. Let's wait someone brave enough to try this casino and if the offers they advertised is really true. For me, I won't take the risk because I don't really play on new casinos. Hopefully this casino holds their words until they revised their advertisement about the refund. I know that the refund promotion is just to attract customer to try the casino but yeah it's a new way to make gamblers try a casino that's why gamblers are still skeptical about it. Maybe someday this kind of advertisement will become a norm.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: May 24, 2023, 05:26:33 PM
by holding the prize from the bounty it might be possible to increase 2x, but it is also possible to decrease until it is worthless. projects that look good sometimes fall short of expectations. I personally, if I get a coin from a signature and it can be sold, I choose to sell it and buy a coin that can be used for long-term investment, so it's like being able to save bitcoin or ethereum. but sadly there are not many decent bounty prizes at the moment, but keep the spirit to get lucky in the world of bounty hunters

Yes, to be honest this is the main reason for the success and failure of bounties, sometimes holding back to get at least a price increase, and sometimes holding on to make a project lose value, but I'm interested in selling it and exchanging it for another coin to make a more valuable investment.
Each stage will have a different view of this work, I don't think the quality of the campaigns is the cause as people can decide for themselves whether to participate in them or not. Even when there are many scam projects, or poor prizes, many hunters are optimistic about participating or it may just be spam.
Nowadays some new approaches to projects are being implemented in a variety of ways, we can discuss testnet or retroactive and they have been and are still an approach that I find very practical. from work as well as community and project interactions. And when it comes to the bitcointalk bounty I'm most likely thinking that if there's no change in the way it works or a growth cycle takes place, the status of quality or not paying will still be obvious.
With the spread of scam bounty campaign in this forum, bounty hunters will just assess the project if it will be a success and if it will pay them but majority of the hunter will still sell it when the coin is become listed on exchanges as they are scared to gain nothing after hours of task and research they did for the project. Bad project means they will gain nothing as bounty campaigns might not pay them even on tokens as the project performs badly on their sale. They are just optimistic on projects that has a high chance of being successful on launch though there are few hunters who really holds bounty tokens which is a risky move from them.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 2 questions that bother me on: May 24, 2023, 04:53:33 PM
Hi everyone,

1/ Who determines the price of a token at launch?
For example, the SUI token cost a few cents in pre-sale and was listed at almost $1.50 on the Binance listing

2/ In your experience, is it a good idea to buy a chip the second it is listed for a profit?

Thanks for clarifying.
1. Price is determine by the ,market force, ie the theory of demand and supply, the more people are willing to buy the more the price go up and the less people want to buy the prices goes down because more people are willing to sell and few people are willing to buy.

2. it depends on the coin, if it's a good coin with real work usage and community backed, then it is a good idea, but if it's all these meme coins, you might have to think again before you buy them again
Yep, that factors are valid for determining the price of a coin that is just listed. If people knows there's a demand for a coin, they are more willing to rush at the listing price or near it to gather it in short they are FOMO. But as we know there are coins that only has sharp market bumps but minutes after being followed by heavy selling pressure that is cause by flippers or short term trader that only want to get profit from the opportunity. If the project has the real demand, the coin will stay near it's peak price as the project community is guarding it's support price. Overall, The price after the listing will all depends on different variables and couldn't be answered directly.
938  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help us to choose a bonus for a review campaign! on: May 24, 2023, 04:06:46 PM
As other suggested, People want to get bitcoins as a payment for campaign instead of casino rolls/credits etc.. Paying bitcoin directly is attractable to the forum members as we can see from past review campaigns in this forum who are using bitcoin to pay their participants. I'm positive that people will review your casino with the member limit you had set. I think that 15 people can be managed easily as it is few. I don't think that you need a manager for this task as this is a small task that a marketing team of your casino can do and you can watch the participants review closely.

Enclosed our full live chat with the support:
https://imgur.com/a/TQlVFZ5
It's already clear the representative is active and want to look into your case, but you're not telling the truth if you're using a multiple accounts to play in Rollbit. Multiple accounts usage in this casino isn't allowed if your intention are want to abuse the casino.

More and more there are many abusers in Rollbit, what a shame.
From what I'm seeing in the screenshot that the accuser posted. It seems that for me he is being force to say that he has many accounts and indicate those clearly in the chat. We readers won't know the truth unless Rollbit itself show some proofs that he has created other accounts. I'm sure that rollbit can detect their customer IP and devices that is used for log in and sign ups. I don't like how rollbit support assess the situation because the support mentioned about being honest with the multiple account. It's easier to say that they detect the accuser of having a multiple account than making their customer indicate it themselves. It's like a trap for me to be honest.

Mga merong Axie diyan, nakita niyo na ba yung balita tungkol sa paglaunch ng Axie at support sa iOs?
Axie Infinity: Origins launches on iOS in LATAM, Asia
Saka sa mga nakakakilala kay Taxton, wala na pala siya. Yes, he passed away.
Mukang itatry ko ulit laruin tong axie ahh since magkaka IOS support na sila, Though wala pa siya sa PH. I wonder if kelan kaya ito marerelease sa PH. Medyo nahahassle kasi ako sa PC maglaro before at di namana worth laruin if you aim for the SLP since bagsak yung presyo pero I think pwede ko to gawing libangan. I also plan to get an ipad soon kaya sakto maiadd to sa games na pwede kong libangan.
Yep, as of now ibang games nilalaro ko. Most of them is mini games lang at nothing competetive pero once na maging available na ang axie sa phone is ang plan ko is unti untiin ko laurin hangang sa masanay ulit ako at makita ang current meta ng axie at mag climb na ulit sa leaderboards kagaya lang ng dati. I just hope na mapadali nila yung pag labas ng origins sa IOS sa PH. If ever na nilaunch nila yung game sa IOS last bull run is sigurado ako na magiging priority yung PH sa sobrang dami ng players dito sa bansa natin pero ngayon sobrang tumumal talaga yung mga players at obvious naman.
