921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLD by TRADE , that is possible? on: February 22, 2018, 10:41:25 AM
In my opinion this is the most correct strategy. But for this you need to be able to trade. If you do not know how to trade, then you can not increase the number of your coins, but rather reduce it. Increase the number of coins with an increase in coin prices is a good strategy.
I have seen the effect of this method in the last storm, my coin multiplied 1.3 times.
Okay, Good for you!! But I want you to understand that may be working for you now, but if you do not have a trading strategy and what to look out for before buying and selling, which is the ability to do some fundamental and technical analysis, then you are not trading, you are gambling and that will end up getting you coin reduced when you ended up selling once a market starts getting pumped further and you panic to even know when to stop loss.

But, I wonder why the OP called it hold by trading. Trading is trading and sure, unless he is just looking for ways to increase the value of his coins by selling higher and buying lower, without considering all other options necessary thinking it would be that easy, then he can go ahead. Unless he has a strategy and he can understand when to sell and when to buy, he should better just hold.
922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on: February 22, 2018, 09:00:37 AM
Can anyone help me to decide if what coin is good to buy now

you already answered your question on the subject isn't it ? ;-)
Obviously he already did. A lot of newbies are always busy looking for the quick gain and not considering the future and what makes what they are choosing sensible. However, no one can really tell anyone what to do as they have to understand at some point, which is the reason why a lot of people panic when they see a slight dip since they absolutely have no idea at all of what they want to purchase. If someone is not considering investing large in bitcoin now, I wonder when they will.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💰💰 Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook will look into cryptocurrency on: February 21, 2018, 04:34:29 PM
🌐 Mark Zuckerberg - The CEO of the largest social network, Facebook, has recently posted on her personal account that he was officially considering to integrate cryptocurrency to his platform.

Facebook can generate its own cryptocurrency easily and integrate it with the current social network platform, just similarly to Steemit. However, the company can either cooperate with some available coins depending on the business goals. With this option, they can skip costly and time-consuming stages.

✔️ No matter what approach it is, Facebook does not only aim at the decentralized platform and Blockchain technology but the also views them as the milestones of development research in 2018. This is the strong evident for a bright future of digital currency.

This information explains why Facebook does not allow the advertising of crypto currency. All the same they are competitors.
Lol. That does not explain it at all. Facebook mentioned the reason why they decided to stop cryptocurrency adverts which is basically because they do not have a system in play that can fish in a bad product or project from a good one and they are responsible for their targeted users who have ended up trusting in some of the ads and investing in a scam project.

So, they had to do that until further notice, and entering the crypto space by Facebook, really does not have anything to do with competition or advert. There is enough room for everyone and only if you knew the amount that was being generated from the crypto adverts before stopping it, you would not say that.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you choose the exchange for trading? Vote! on: February 21, 2018, 03:01:30 PM
For me main parameters are - high degree of security, solid reputation and positive clients feedbacks, the lowest fees on the market (Binance), availability of margin trading (Bitfinex).
I guess binance really came to make an impact in the market with their fees and it is working. Personally, as long as security is not an issue, then I am good, the rest is just a matter of weighing the options and seeing how they all stand out from each other, which balls down to the other benefits.

I believe when security and customer support is fine, normally, the review should be perfect. Ease of use though is something I really do not consider as long as I can make use of the exchange API on a trading tool.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin valueable? on: February 21, 2018, 02:28:49 PM
I think altcoins have value because of
1. Team and project behind the coins
2. Product offered by the project
3. Trust from investors and community
Yeah, these 3 things are the most important things I look at for me. Any team that already has a good working product obviously shows the willingness and readiness to always keep doing better in the long run, so with a good team, I can trust my investment.

Also, it is not just about having a product, the product should be a very useful and realistic one that I know would be a good innovation needed which is what would make the demand for such an altcoin basic. The last one however, once a product is sound as well as the team, community will always be strong.
926  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1btc = 6k usd on: February 20, 2018, 04:18:44 PM
No fuck you man, no way it gonna happens because 6k is underpriced of the real valuation of Bitcoin .
Chill man, there's no need to use harsh words just to express what's your feeling. And that's a fact that we've seen bitcoin at $6,000 but the good thing it recovered immediately. I know most of us here are used to see the prices more than $6,000 but this is the reason why many are still doubtful to invest in bitcoin because of the quick changing when it comes to its market price.
I am very sure it must have pained him to his bone marrows. I really do not know what must have warranted the usage of the word fuck in the whole matter here. The Op must have been some new investors who bought into the FOMO and then got scared and decided to ask some questions. At least he is better than some who panicked and hit the exchange to sell at loss immediately. We have had crazy times like this in the past, at the end; it means nothing as the market comes back recovering anyway.
927  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Chinese New Year boost crypto market cap? on: February 20, 2018, 03:27:24 PM
I think prices will boom again after the end of Chinese new year celebrations.
China is on of the biggest countries and have a big impact on the cryptocurrency market. Such phenomenon happens every year and we see the same pattern: prices drops then start to recover by the end of February, I hope the same will happen this year.
This has been true almost every year in the past and it will happen again this year, but for another reason. Not simply because Chinese New Year will be over, but because institutional investors waited for the dip and now they are satisfied with the relatively low price so they already started buying and the pump to 20 or even 30k will follow soon. And then another crash.
Yeah and that could just be pure coincidence. Like you said, we have institutional investors involved and I am sure they are already loading up right now and waiting for the change in trend of the market, which I believe will change anyway.

Nevertheless if we end up having some pretty good volume coming in after the china new year, based on the fact that they would want to start investing, then that also will be fine. One way or the other, we are all just hoping that we can start a new uptrend pretty soon.
928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price increase slowly... on: February 20, 2018, 12:48:57 PM
I would not say that the price growth is slow, it seems to grow at its own pace neither quickly nor slowly, but it still pleases that the price goes up
Yeah, I will preferably call that a steady growth since the market has been in a downtrend for a while and to really look at it for someone who decided to invest at the dip, maybe around $6k, which is not some little growth within few days. Imagine getting a single bitcoin and then having more than $3k profit in few days, that to me is not a slow growth but still, looking at the room that bitcoin still have to grow, we can just call it steady. Slow and steady wins the race anyway.

Patience is all that we need now, and hopefully the market ends up coming back stronger and breaking all the resistances we have above us. The growth is good, to me it even looks like some strong hands have entered the market compared to some of the things we have experienced in the past and it seems more like the market is behaving like the regular one. Probably a good thing, but let's see how this goes.
929  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why almost everybody suggest to hold? on: February 20, 2018, 11:49:44 AM
Because Holding is preserving more money than day trading or selling when bear market comes, soon all patience will give us massive profit due to HODLING!
Patience is all that it takes to see huge profit on one's holding. No one who is not a trader should even have any business trying to dump, traders do it because they want to make profit and they do it at a huge risk. There is a lot of great future for the bitcoin and its development, so that is what a typical investor should be after and not just these little ups and downs that we have presently.

Bitcoin has proven to be the future, but if we all decide to start selling out of panic, then who is going to end up buying. This is more like a community and the only reason we are holding picture is because we believe in its future and in the greatness it is going to bring as a lot of the way we do things will end up changing like we are already seeing it, so if we get distracted by just the value, then that would be wrong.
930  Economy / Services / Re: [BitBlender] Signature Campaign - Seniors and up (CFNP) on: February 20, 2018, 10:57:33 AM
We'll change to fiat based rates with the following:

Legendary: $70 per round
Hero: $60 per round
Senior: $40 per round

Rounds stay two weeks each, with a 20 post per week requirement (-> 40 posts / round).

Dear Lutpin and BitBlender-team,

Please consider to increase the payments like $70 for legendary per week at least. Getting paid based on fiat value is fine and most campaigns have already switched to that. But drastic reduction in payout may enforce many participants to suffer like me.

Here is the quick view on current trend of payouts (for legendary members) from few long running camps ..
Crypto-Games  - $140 /week
Bitsler  -  $150 /week

I am well aware of the fact that manager's decision is final still it is a humble request  Smiley Thank you !
931  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC Exchange on: February 20, 2018, 08:29:02 AM
HitBTC was good but in your case I don't think so if they will turn it back to you the money because since you were depositing they asked you and you have agreed to their terms and policy. But, try harder to communicate to them.
HitBTC will always be good until you get nabbed. One bad thing about any exchange is having an issue and not being able to have anyone to give you a solution to problem, at least giving you a response that your issue cannot be solved is even good enough, but no, you are just strictly on your own. He should not waste his energy or strength trying harder to communicate to them, he will only get a reply if he is the most lucky man on earth.
932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take profits – But into what? on: February 20, 2018, 07:55:40 AM
If you profit in alts and you don't want to risk anymore that you profited then go change it to USD but if you want to still risk just put it to BTC so it can go up or down.
Putting in BTC is not even a huge risk as much as leaving in Alts. However, it all depends on what is good enough for the trader in question but I would not advise changing anything if the person trading does not have any trading knowledge or what to look out for while trading, because in that case, it would be hard for someone like the OP to even have an entry or an exit strategy, let alone make profit trying to swap.
933  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Trading! on: February 18, 2018, 10:30:32 AM
For me, to be a successful trader you need to have a strategy and experience.
1. Strategy- strategy in how to buy bitcoin or when i will buy bitcoin. strategy in holding coins and strategy in selling coins.
2. Experience - experience in trading will help you to become pro in trading. if you lose in trading dont lose hope. stand up and trade again.
There is a very long list of the things which you need to learn in order to become a successful trader and alone this strategy and experience will not help you serve the purpose. You need to be very much careful while dealing with bitcoin trading as there are higher chances of loss of more money. You need to get very well prepared before going for any such thing. Otherwise, you will suffer.
You have said it first and then spoiled it. Skills and experience will always help you and that is it. You have to build skills from learning to be able to know what you want to even do in the first place, and then from there you start building on those skills with experience and it is this experience that will help you to achieve the careful dealings that you have mentioned.

Trading requires a lot, these two things are a lot, but getting there, then you will always be able to do fine, not without some rough edges most especially at the beginning of your trading life.
934  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why does it call "market will never sleeps"? on: February 18, 2018, 06:00:36 AM
Because being "Attentive" is a huge part of their vocabulary. Focus is one of the necessary things you must have in marketing because if you make even a nap, All you have may you have not tomorrow.
Do not have a nap as a trader and keep working yourself too hard all in the name of a 24 hours, 7 days market and you want to make all the profit to yourself, and let's see how that is going to turn out for you.

It is a good thing though, because knowing that there is no time frame, you can always make market decisions at any point in time. However, based on what you have said, even if you take a nap, you can always have tomorrow to make a decision, so you do not have to kill yourself staying on the chart for the rest of your life.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in infancy on: February 17, 2018, 11:56:21 AM
Yes that right, to make this cryptocurrency community bigger should be any education for everyone because now alot of people does not understand how does it work and many people does not know the advantages of cryptocurrency and the technology behind it.
Education is everywhere, all over the internet, the news, and people around you who have the knowledge. Even this forum alone is good enough to create some of the awareness needed. I am sure the awareness is there already and we really do not need going house to house preaching the gospel according to satoshi to everyone, but the thing is that, not everyone will get the gist immediately, some will get it late, and some will not even get it at all.

I want to believe some institutions have included this in their curriculum and some are really looking into the blockchain technology. For the general people though, it will take a lot of getting used to, most especially for those who are not tech savvies. Over time, this will change and we will get to see more people having some knowledge and some awareness from media news. Except for this two, I really do not know how awareness can be generated further.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: February 17, 2018, 11:25:02 AM
Bitcoin will always be the king of the crypto currency world. This will continue for a long time. Altcoins aren't as strong as Bitcoin.

Saying "Strong" - you mean expensive? He fall from $20K, where is "strength"?
I guess he can be called "King" because he is founder of cryptos and he's respected. But as many kings, in practical life he can be most useless.
Oh please, That is a stale story. Which of the coins in the market was not affected except for some bullshit coin that was just pumped ? Let it get to $0, and then we can say there is no more strength for bitcoin. Bitcoin started an uptrend from less than $1000 last year and got to over $19000 and now testing bottom at $6000.

Maybe you need to go to the books and get some history lesson on bitcoin. Because there is a downtrend now, that makes bitcoin weak right ? If it is by that, and the altcoin market decided to follow the trend as well, then that really makes them weaker and even more useless. Save me the strength story please.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin gambling on: February 17, 2018, 09:57:53 AM
Bitcoin gambling is somewhat risky,it's based on your own luck.If your fortune was good, even you will get 1Btc.
But it had black side also, some of the gambler lost their entire property in gambling too.So to avoid such loss, you may play once a month to check your fortune. Grin
Not just bitcoin gambling. Every gambling is risky and all you have is basically luck and if that is not behind you, you will lose everything and if the OP cannot live with that, then it is unsafe for him and his health. It is not gambling itself that is not safe, it is the mentality of the person gambling sometimes that is not safe. With the mentality of the OP and what he has stated as being safe, then he should better not gamble at all, because the mentality is not safe for him.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: February 17, 2018, 08:39:33 AM
Do you know a good strategy to increase faucet satoshis (300-500) to couple thousand?
Haha very funny, I don't know how to increase faucet satoshis to couple thousand but I know how to turn thousand into 300 satoshis, are you interested?
What a way to give a proper answer to his question Grin I really wonder if some people usually think the owner of gambling sites who give out free coins in faucets are extremely stupid, otherwise someone will not be asking such a question on how to turn 500 satoshis to thousands. He even mentioned couple thousand. I am sure he must have gotten the gist from your proposal, and if he does not, then that is his cup of tea.

it is always easy to turn from couple thousand into 300 satoshi Grin but right now, doing faucet is the only waste of time because the rewards are too small and we cannot collect much of satoshi. it's getting hard to collect satoshi from this source and I think he needs to think the other way so he can start to collect another satoshi.
Only if people can channel those energy and resources into making research and doing something smart and reasonable to earn more, faucets will be the last thing on their mind. Also, slapper said it all, anyone who is looking for ways to turn few bucks into thousands is probably looking for the easy way out which there is none, but there is always an easy way in, which he has obviously proposed to the OP.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting in bitcoin is legal or illegal? on: February 17, 2018, 07:49:10 AM
If i'm not mistaken there's no rule/law yet in our country about bitcoin gambling. It is not that widely spread yet so governments aren't making any move about it as of now but two of our local exchange site TOS saying it's likely prohibited. The other one even locking up the account together with their btc once they have found out the btc comes from gambling site.
We have very clear law about gambling here in my county and in our religion, but still people  continue playing gambling, may be the reason is that when people become tired of find jobs or do not have enough money to start a business then they are mostly attracted by gambling which they consider as the easiest way of making money, although it is the easiest and shortest way of making money but i think we cannot ignore the fact that it is also the most risky way of making money.
Unfortunately, gambling is just not the easiest way to make money which I really consider to be appalling knowing that some people have this kind of thought when it comes to gambling.

In addition to these, with cryptocurrency, gambling has even been easier to do and get away with, even in places where it may be prohibited, so at the end of it all, I really do not see how those who gamble the crypto way can be nabbed anyway, it is just the mentality some people have with gambling like what you have mentioned, is what really baffles me a lot.
940  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 17, 2018, 07:15:59 AM
I think that the market is only being formed and there will be a lot of trains on which we will be able to ride. Mainly stay up to date and do not be afraid to take risks when it's justified.
Yeah, there are so many opportunities that will come up in the future that would even make a lot of smart investors richer. However, just like I have said, only the smart ones will always try as much as possible, to board the train, take a good position before it starts moving.

The market is huge, there is so many potential coins that are undervalued and right now, is the time to hop into most of them before the 2018 journey start. It is a cycle and the train will always be available when the time is right.

There are still some very new coins today that have not even started their journey yet and whereas some are looking at the missed train, they are forgetting those ones with a lot of quality and huge room to grow. I am still very sure that this is year is when we are going to see a lot of trains that would make the holders and investors very rich, so it is still a very good time to hop on some of them now when there is still chance.
