941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 20, 2023, 07:25:33 AM
Both of these teams can't qualify. Only the top ranked team from each group will qualify. That's why I said that in all probability one of these two teams will miss the ticket to USA. If either Nigeria and South Africa finish at no.2 in their group, then they will get a chance to play the inter-continent playoffs. But out of 9 second placed teams, only one will get a chance to play that match. It is going to be tough. So for both these teams, it is very crucial to finish at the top of the points table. Anyway, personally I will be disappointed in case Nigeria and South Africa lose out. Because I have always regarded them as some of the strongest teams in Africa.
Finishing at the top should be the reason why you go to world cup anyway, we have different results for Europe because football is much much bigger in Europe and usually European or Latin American teams are the winners most of the time, can't remember the last time any team outside of that two  continents ever won it to be fair. So when we are talking about African teams, that means the best should go, and second shouldn't, even if you are good, if you are not the best then you shouldn't.

Even one bad day and losing, like just one bad game, still not enough. I am not being ruthless, it's just how football is and if people are not used to it already then they should get used to it without a doubt. I know it will take some for these teams to be as good as European ones, maybe never.

I know some users create more than one account they take advantage of bonus codes given by streamers you know for every new user who qualifies they will get up to $35 reload bonus this is one of the reasons why they create multiple accounts. We don't know who to blame, maybe disabling the invite code bonus could be a solution lol.
They shouldn't create more than one account just to chase the bonus code given by the streamer. But greed has come to them so they do it without thinking it could affect their gambling account later. If the casino finds out (and can identify it easily), all of their accounts can be banned, making them regret they did it. Maybe everyone should be aware not to use or create more than one account just to claim bonus codes from streamers. But indeed, we cannot stop them from doing this because it depends on each person.
We can't stop them from doing that, because even if someone says yes they won't do it, who is watching them? No one, right? So they are free to do this kind of thing, having multiple accounts.
This is why there are rules that require KYC. They won't be able to create multiple accounts with the same data, right? This is a form of anticipation where they won't do something like that, because the rules that will make it difficult for them to do it.
I think who can stop them is the casino. If they open multiple accounts, which they can "open" it, but if stake follows it close enough, like IP's at least, then they should be able to figure that out. This could cause them to lose their accounts because they did something against the rules. I am not saying lets ban them all and destroy them or something like that, just do not give them any of the wins they get, so it would be fair because if they lose they lose, if they win they do not win.

That alone should be good enough punishment for them and would serve them very well. They will moan and complain about how they lost and nobody froze their account but when they won it was, but that's just what you get when you break the rules.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 19, 2023, 06:35:42 PM
BTW, Al Nassr is banned from signing anymore European players, due to a dispute with Leicester (regarding the transfer fee for Ahmed Musa). They were planning to bring Hakim Ziyech and Domenico Berardi to Saudi Arabia.
As for FIFA's punishment, I just found out. It turns out that this is a matter of buying Ahmed Musa who played for Leicester City from 2016 to 2018. Then moved to Al Nassr and helped Al Nassr become the 2018/19 Saudi Arabian League champions. This shouldn't be a problem regarding money, because An Nassr has a lot of money at the moment. Maybe they forget, but this is really bad for the club's image in Europe. In addition to this heavy loss, it seems that they are prohibited from carrying out transfer activities for 3 periods.
Whatever the dispute is, I am sure that they are going to end up getting that done for sure and they are going to be quite rich when they do that. I mean the yare rich and could buy out any problem in the end and should be doing that now as well. The problem with Leicester feels like a money issue, some bonus issue and I bet that they will be capable of doing whatever they want.

The European player ban is also a silly one because no team should be banned from buying a player from all of the continent, that's just way too big and that should not be possible, if you want then maybe do not get any from England, that could make sense I understand that but making it all of Europe makes no sense. In the end we will see them handle it for sure.
944  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not limits your investment... on: July 19, 2023, 05:51:40 PM
Your friend must be fortunate or wise enough to initially consider changing his altcoins to bitcoin. Not everyone who has invested in altcoins benefits from them. Altcoin investment is mostly good for a short-term investment plan not for a long-term goal. Once there are profits in it, you sell it off to avoid losses.

That's what I think your friend learned about altcoin investments, which prompted him to swiftly change them to bitcoin to secure his profits and increase his chances of long-term gains.
Isn't that the truth, I feel like there are way too many people who end up with not having any type of understanding how they should be changing back to bitcoin when the bear starts. It's not going to be easy to hold alts at that point and that's going to be the hardest part. When you are handling something like that, it's going to be a tough situation without a doubt. In the end, we are going to see some things change, and when that happens it's going to be hard to keep it.

This is why moving back to bitcoin matters a lot and we should always be doing it that way. I believe that we are not going to end up with a lot of money, but we are going to probably end up with a lot less loss for sure, which is why people should do that.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: July 19, 2023, 05:03:20 PM
Trump being the underdog makes it an attractive option to place money on him. If people were okay with him being a racist, lying, cheating, scamming, sexual abuser I doubt that stealing classified documents is going to affect him in a negative way. Biden is no saint himself. He has a ton of baggage when it comes to corruption, race issues, and sexual abuse and is clearly showing signs of dementia. Cornell West is also a credible enough third party candidate that he could win over enough support from Democrat leaning voters, African Americans in particular, that it could prevent Biden from being re-elected.
I know that should not make any sense at all but there is a weird amount of dilemmas and different approaches in American culture. Like kids brings guns to school and shoot people up which is a terrible tragedy and yet they still do not ban guns for some reason, and they do go around killing people all around the world, been in almost every war for the past 70 years or so, and then suddenly they care about abortion because killing is bad, or something like that.

They may say it's fine if Trump touches people wherever they want, like that's normal, but would be mad if a presidents son does cocaine for example. Where they draw the line is weird a bit, they are not known for their consistency. Basically it's about "what my guy does is ok, what your guy does is not ok" situation, that's it.

Will use pre/post/monthlies, which will soon be ridiculously low just to wager on casino to achieve platinum 5, no deposits or any other action there.

The question is, will they keep giving pre/post monthly bonus? With the fact that they reduced other bonuses, it is also possible that the pre/post monthly bonus will also be lowered in the near future. Anyway, since you are getting close to Platinum 5, it seems that you will stop playing/depositing once you reach plat 5.
The fact that people have been trying to figure out what makes them the most money is the main reason why we do not know the formula for what this makes. I mean if we knew the formula it is obvious that we would try to optimize the return without a doubt. I haven't seen anyone that got more than $200 from monthly bonus before, honestly can't remember anyone who got more than 100 neither, but I wanted to make sure.

When you consider that and when you know that people wager thousands and thousands of dollars, I just feel like the bonus doesn't matter as much as we talk about it. Like sure it's nice to have, but doesn't really deserve this much chat about it every single month when it happens and talk about how much we got.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 18, 2023, 04:30:41 AM
I really dont get why people loves and hype so much about bol bol, for me he is pure trash. He doesnt have the good movement that NBA requires, its not only about height, he lack that movility and also some tactis( but this can be learned). I can see him going from team to team without so many minutes and ended up on Japan or Australia, no much more.
It's okay if that's what you see on him. He's on the league and signed a million bucks for a year contract, that's still nice of him despite that he's out of the Magic and found a new home. I even thought that GSW is going to make the space for him but it seems that Phoenix got him first.

The guy is still new to the league and I agree with cryptomaniac that the hype that Wemby has made for tall rookies had also affected him. That's why the fans are hype to see him go around and wanting to know where he's going to go.

That's why having these good teammates could also bring his career on a better place. As we all know that Suns did a good finisher last season.
Bol Bol is nowhere near the level Wemby plays even after a few seasons in the league, the reason for that could be he didn't get enough minutes to develop obviously and that's a sad situation for him, if you didn't give any minutes then even Jokic or Giannis wouldn't be who they are, they got time to develop and that made them who they are. But also, Wemby came into the league with some euroleague history already, he has shown what he can do and that matters, which is why I believe that he will get more minutes.

I do not believe that he is a generational talent that will be MVP one day, but I do believe that he will become an All-star level player who will do wonderful in the future and maybe even some rings if Spurs put a good team around him in the future.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 18, 2023, 03:09:53 AM
Pre-season games are a platform for young players to showcase their talents and it's a good opportunity for them to show that they deserve to be promoted to the senior team eventually so Manchester United try out a lot of young and new players and it's natural that it's very unfamiliar. But when they see the opponents will be both big clubs IMO they will try to maximize the players and will be a little more serious because even though it is a friendly match there is still prestige that must be maintained and as a reference about them if they meet them again in an official match. friendly matches for big clubs are the same as opening greetings I think before they can compete more seriously in the competition.
I call the pre-season match a trial match for several teams who are trying to appoint their new players or young players to perform well and if the performance is not optimal the coach will try to find other ways to maximize the performance of these new players. On the one hand, in this pre-season match, several teams can look for the best formation pattern to set in each match. Usually, the coaches look at their attack and defense. If the formation is still ineffective, they will change the formation for the better.
even though this is just like a friendly match but for me this is the initial match of strength.
That is certainly true, some of these teams are a lot better than the teams they are playing against which means that it's like a friendly where you try your new players and you end up with seeing how they would play in those positions and do what they are asked or not.

That is sort of like what they are there for in the friendly games as well but the difference is that you do not work on your conditioning and match shape when you are doing that, it is not going to be that simple and you are going to end up with a bit of a trouble if you focus just on that. We should be focusing on some players that end up with a lot of training before the game and you should be hoping that there will be some sort of great tactical improvement instead.

If I have 1BTC So how did I use to invest in different Coins
I think things people never say these days is , if you want financial advice you are better getting it from a financial adviser and not any random person.

Secondly,  nomatter the investment suggestion that comes your way, the person that is putting their investment on the line is you and to make that decision it starts and ends with you. For best results,  do your own research to get first hand information.
High risk taking like that is definitely not a suggested method. I wouldn't suggest anyone to do that because 99.99% of the time you are going to lose all your money and there is no reason to do that. I bet that it is going to be much harder to invest into something like that, and would be much smarter to just keep on making a profit based on what you already know and the coins you already know, that's a lot better.

I know that people are not always content with what they have, but they need to be and that's going to be the case for everyone. I believe that if we could end up with no problems at all and end up with a good return from the big coins and all, that would be enough, if you are rich then that should be what you do.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 16, 2023, 04:51:54 PM
The speculated clubs I have seen about de Gea to be signed by are Fenerbahçe and Saudi Arabian clubs. If Fenerbahçe had enough funds or leaned towards signing de Gea despite his demands then maybe he would have thought of that option seriously. However it is said that his wage demand will be more than 10 million euros and in addition to that he will demand at least 8 million euros as signing-on fee for himself. This is too much for Fenerbahçe considering the average sum they pay to their players.

As a result I will be expecting him to sign for a Saudi Arabian club. Who knows how attracting conditions they will offer to him to finish this deal quickly.
Fenerbahce just got Livakovic, so I can clearly say that they are out of the picture for De Gea now, younger and to be fair if you ask me a better player so they did the right thing. Arabic clubs would love to pay a ton of money for De Gea, he can go there and make like 10-20 million a year and that should be a good thing for him, at the backheel of his career, making more money per season than he ever did, even more than his prime seasons. Why not accept that offer?

It would be amazing for him and I highly would suggest that as a good move without a doubt. I am not saying that it is going to be an easy choice, just saying that it is going to take a while and we could potentially see something that would make him a bit more famous again.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: July 16, 2023, 01:50:20 PM
Ironically, Trump's management of the topic of the vaccine has been strange: on one hand he likes to brag on how quickly the vaccine was developed under his administration and the fact he endorsed the vaccination, however, he is not stupid; he is aware much of his voting base is against vaccination and they believe vaccines are literal poison or the mark of the beast, ect.

I have noticed he prefers to avoid the topic, using whatever talking point is going on the news about his political opponents, it could be the alleged bribe Biden accepted or the coke found on the White House, anything but the contradictions he does not want to face in front of a camera.
Well.. that's what politics is all about, we can't expect him to put his position at risk, so he has to talk about the problems Biden has in order to make people forget any problems that he had. Between his voting base not liking vaccination and the fact that hundreds of thousands of people died from covid when he was the president, that's a sensitive subject that may lose him the race.

But, considering the otherside has troubles of his own, he can talk about those things and do a lot better, it is definitely the smart move. You can't expect him to go out and be like "yes vaccines are great" because then his base will be "he is bought out as well now, I won't vote for him anymore" and he will lose, it's politics, unfortunate reality of it.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 15, 2023, 07:10:10 PM
Talking about the money in the Arab League, personally I don't doubt their ability financially. Many of the clubs in Europe are owned by wealthy Arabs, so I conclude that they are financially well-established clubs. Although it is rumored that some clubs have debt, but in my opinion it is still in a reasonable category, because in fact the big and fairly rich clubs in Europe also have debt. As long as it is not excessive and still within normal limits, it is valid. What is clear is that most Arab businesses that have an interest in football are successful in their business.
I think it's not about the money but convincing issues. If you have to pay tens of millions of dollars (and in few cases over 100+ million) to convince a player to join your club, and paying 10x what others would pay, there is an issue at convincing that player.

Normally I would understand as much as double, so if a player was offered 5 million somewhere, and you offered 10 million and got him, that makes sense and I can understand that, but if he is offered 5 million and you paid him 30 million for example, that's not good, that's a bad business. They are 100% surely not making any profit at all, not that they need it because they are rich, but if they are not making a profit, then what's the point of having a business, it just doesn't make sense.
953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is improving I guess? on: July 15, 2023, 05:50:32 PM
Currently Bitcoin only needs a little increase, for example, reaching $ 32k in July, there will be big things and improving faster, especially when the end of the year certainly makes many people prepare to buy more before halving occurs, we have a good chance to buy at a price Cheap at this time so never miss to buy immediately.
Some people always argue that the closer the halving is, the more people want to hold bitcoin, so bitcoin will increase in price. But I wonder, if the market works that way, why aren't there many buyers, and bitcoin has barely gained too much so far? Will people definitely buy more bitcoins as the halving gets closer? I am also a bitcoin investor for many years, but I never thought to buy more when the halving is approaching, I will only buy when the bitcoin price suits my pocket.
It will definitely be harder for people to not hold their coins during that period. I am 100% sure that the amount being sold will get lower and lower so the price will go higher in order for buyers to be able to keep buying. That is why I think the most important thing about the current situation is that if we keep holding like them, then we will make a profit for sure. After that it will get even bigger because we are going to end up with a situation where price will go up a lot more after the halving as well, and that will change some stuff too.

The best thing to do in this case would be just buying and holding for at least 2 years. If you can do that then there is a likely chance that you will be in profit, and by a lot.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 15, 2023, 04:56:05 PM
Real Madrid has struggled to sign mbappe, and in my opinion, if they make every effort and PSG refuses to negotiate mbappe's release, it would be best if Real Madrid forgot about him. After all, Real Madrid has been pursuing mbappe for a very long time. PSG is a team that spends a lot of money on players, and I think they spent a lot of money before they acquired Mbappe, but they should also be aware that if a player no longer has any interest in a team, they should simply find a method to terminate his contract. Even if PSG didn't want to let him go, they need take into account how Real Madrid is always after Mbappe.

Although there are many teams that will be interested in mbappe, I believe that he deserves to play for a team like Real Madrid. This is just my opinion, and it has nothing to do with whether or not I support Real Madrid or like the team; rather, it stems from the news that Real Madrid is reportedly willing to pay whatever price is necessary, despite the fact that PSG has yet to negotiate with them.
I do not think that they have "struggled" to sign him, they know that they can get him for free next season, and if not at the very worst case they need to find a young striker, which they do have with Enrick but we know thats going to take a long time, so they need another one that they can play. Like this season to be fair to them, they do not have a star striker at the moment, and Mbappe could be great for them, but even without him, they are fine.

So, I am guessing that the best thing about them right now is the fact that they are not overspending, they spend very little money and they are doing fine, I guess it is going to be fine in the end. Mbappe or not, next season or not, they are doing fine, so there is no struggle.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 14, 2023, 07:08:40 PM
That team seems like PSG now. However I don't feel like PSG would pay that much to sign Felix. At least he wouldn't be their first choice if they want to pay that much in my opinion. I have heard about an offer by Aston Villa for Felix as well but their not being in the Champions League hindered them from signing him.
I think an offer from Aston Villa will be more feasible than PSG. PSG has a bigger problem of managing Mbappe and Neymar transfer. If they are not done with the two super issues, signing another forward won't be a good one.

That is true, if he goes to PSG and then Mbappe leaves that means he is going to be backed by a great squad of players with a decent manager to be the striker of a very big team. They are bigger than all the teams in their own domestic league which means that they will be capable of getting a win there, and that means a lot of goals scored by him. Isn't that the dream of any striker? Play in a club that could actually provide some talent?

I believe that's actually quite good result and could be something they will look into. Think about it, we are talking about a team that could be one of the best and he will be their striker, he could score like 30+ goals a season and get paid a ton of money while doing that, it's like a dream come true.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 14, 2023, 06:49:46 PM
Manchester United are way better than the time before Erik ten Hag. Having a top four finish in the English Premier League is a good progress in his first year here already. Manchester United will be expected to be more competitive this season of course. They need to be more competitive in their domestic league and do their best in the Champions League too.

As the Champions League will have a new format for the rounds before knockout stages I wonder how things will go. For example Manchester United will have a second chance for making it to last 16 if they don't manage finish in top 8 first. Maybe this format can help us watch some surprising teams making it to later rounds in the tournament as well.  Smiley
I am not sure, when Ole was there they ended second one season if I am wrong, that was during Oles time and before Ronaldo came in, that should be understandable that they had a great season before Ronaldo and before Erik Tan Hag as well. Looking at the team now, it's much worse than that, do you see them be second? I do not see them becoming second this season neither, I feel like they will fight for a top four finish but second seems like beyond what they will be capable of doing.

All in all it looks like we are going to have a season where it will take a while before United could get bigger and back to where they used to be. Sure Ole had some troubles one way or another and that's why people disliked him, but he had some good seasons for sure.
957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: July 14, 2023, 06:20:54 PM
The OP said that it might be easier to make 10x shorting. well, I think he really hasn't gotten into trading yet. Even when we get 2x profits when short, it is a very good thing. it's not as easy as the OP said. in fact, it takes persistence for it, it's not even easy to get 2x when going short. In addition, many people who target short, get stuck and end up holding on long term because the price of the coin they are buying has dropped drastically. Imagine making $10k, with $1k in a short amount of time. well, I think if it was that easy, nowadays people tend to prefer trading over investing.
That's true, nobody that knows crypto would think that it's simple, it's one of the hardest things ever and only a fool would think that it would make sense. I believe that it's not going to be easy at all and we shouldn't really be worried about it neither. Life is not that simple and it's going to cause a lot of people to make mistakes because of it.

People may not believe the same things you believe in, but that doesn't mean that we should respect every single opinion, like this one that doesn't make sense. Shorting is very hard and if you do a x10 shorting that means you can't be wrong too much, if it goes even just a bit higher, then you are going to lose all your money. I hope that it gets easier but shorting will never be easy.
I agree, it is not going to be simple and nothing is that simple at all. Having a 10x short or even 100x which is already beyond logical, is just a fools move if you are not an expert trader. Some people, very rarely, could do it and make money because they are experts at what they do, but they are experts so that makes sense, they spent decades on trading platforms and they have studied it and have advanced level of math.

This means that if you are not going to end up with a trouble, then you are going to end up with no profit as well. If you are careful and if you are timid that's not going to work but that doesn't mean you should be making wrong moves neither, just be careful and you should be making a bigger profit.
958  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price hitting 30k twice this year. on: July 14, 2023, 05:52:50 PM
When the price reached same value twice in same year,it mean the price going to go above that value or going to drop. With the market analysis the price of bitcoin going to reach new ATH in the 2024.So I personally think, the price going to move upwards in the upcoming days.So we can expect some bull run in the upcoming months. The movement for now is unpredictable and can be move in the bull run,Since we had faced huge bear market in the first half of this year.
This year is still quite long it could be that in one year the same price ($31K) could touch it several times because the movement of bitcoin up and down of course it is still very possible even though it is still difficult to predict.
I will not say the next ATH in 2024 while the previous history still takes time from the halving to occur, but it will always be different from each cycle but we never know what happens next the forecast will only bullrun at its time.
Maybe it can be said that the bear market has passed and now only sideways long enough after that a slow recovery until it can bullrun again.
I do not think that bitcoin price would stay same for a whole year. It can go up or down, but not going to stay the same price. Tell me, when was the last time you have seen bitcoin stuck between 1k price for over 5 months? We are talking about 30k to 31k range, that's 1k range, and you are considering it would stay there for 5 months straight? That doesn't happen at all.

I would understand if you said it would go down, and I would understand if you said it would go up, but that doesn't mean that it will stay same. I think it will go up, halving is getting closer so the price would probably change and we will see a higher price. People will buy more and more the closer we get to halving and that should be what we expect as well.

Well, my fears about playing in Faroe Islands wasn't without a reason as it was dull game and Ferencvaros was far from winning it. Anyway, other part of my parlay also wasn't successful as Balkani made upset by beating Ferencvaros 2:0. Zalgiris disappointed me too as they didn't showed anything against Struga. At least Qarabag saved my bet on last minutes.
Not that much options to bet today. I'm going with HJK and Slovan parlay with bet boost and over 2.5 @1.62 in Farul - Sheriff game.
Man I need to pay attention next time and start betting on these weird teams I think anyone who did so would be in big profit so far. Qarabag is a very familiar name somehow, you think they can make the group stages this time?

Multibets are dangerous here, only ML bets from now on I feel is the way to proceed in these qualifiers.
I agree that betting on these teams I have never heard about could be a good profit, but more often than not the results are not as good as I expected them to be and that results with not having a good profit. This is why I avoided it a bit more, but I am going to end up starting to bet on some of them later on, going to wait about one more stage before I start, because at that point we are going to end up seeing teams that are champions but from lower level leagues instead, and that will be a good one.

Let's see how good it gets but these teams who we never heard of before, or even if we did, no idea how they are right now, makes no sense to bet on at the moment and could result with nothing good on the long run if we do bet on them.

Arsenal though have added some new players this season and formed an injury free squad but still I am not too optimistic about Arsenal especially in the Champions League. Manchester United can do well in the Premier League but they are unlikely to do well in the Champions League either. In this case, Manchester City will maintain their continuity from the English Premier League. Manchester City have done well this season and they will do well in the Champions League next season. With only one change, Manchester City's squad is unchanged and everyone is in top form, so expect Manchester City to be among the favorites for the Champions League next season.
Of course Manchester City is still the favorite because their current strength is very strong and Pep Guardiola has formed this team for the long term from the past and now is the result of their process, maybe for the next few seasons Manchester City will still be a strong team and in favorite at UCL.
But don't underestimate Arsenal either because this team has improved since last season and of course for next season there will be many changes made by Arteta to make this team even stronger, even though they are not the favorites but I'm sure Arsenal can pose a serious threat to the favorite team.
The thing is, nobody else got any much better, and that's their trouble. I mean if we were talking about how City is good but X team got so much better this season so they could rival, then I would understand another option but looking at the transfers no other team got any closer to City as well.

The only thing that could hurt them is complacency, because they already made the treble, and they could win the domestic super cup, and uefa super cup, and then could win fifa club world cup, and that means six, and Pep did that before with Barcelona and "may" yet still do that with City as well. When you win that much, it may start to look like you are about to end up being a bit different and going to end up with not caring about it as much. That's their only risk.
