961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do women engage in crypto trading on: April 16, 2023, 11:55:08 PM
OP do you belong to a country where women are treated as second-class humans? In a normal world where women and men have the same rights, this is not even a question. Men and women are both to be educated and both can establish their own careers according to their choice. That being said, it is normal for women to engage in crypto trading just like men. This is not even a big deal in a normal country. I saw a lot of women traders here in my country and even mentors there are women as well. Thru social media, I am following a lot of women traders, especially in our local stock market where I am invested as well.
Even in the first world countries we've got Women to be considered down to men. This is real and happening with the people. Women were not much interested into technology based investment and related trading practice. This is the reason why we weren't able to see much of traders into the cryptocurrency trading. If you go find the number of Women holding cryptocurrency, then we can see a good number of Women, because they prefer to stay risk free. Compared to the past, nowadays big number of Women were getting into bitcoin and cryptocurrency for multiple needs.

I agree that respecting the rules of the country you are visiting is important, but I also believe that certain changes should be made to accommodate the visitors during the world cup events.

It's good to know that the Qatar world cup was peaceful and there were no issues related to alcohol consumption. Maybe other countries can learn from Qatar's rules and implement similar ones to control alcohol consumption and prevent any issues during the events.
Everyone should admit that fact that Qatar was phenomenal and how things went smooth because of no alcohol policy and they should learn from  them and take it as an example that to organize a smooth peaceful event where different countries  cultures and religion have to come face to face for month or two how things can be arranged in a good way.
Even the alcohol policy is been given relaxation to give the best experience to the international audience visiting the country. Separate place were allocated for them and certain time limits were also mentioned. This is really good and helps avoid unwanted issues arising between. In most people's case, alcohol is being consumed as medicine that helps them to be more expressive.  Allowing with limits is always needed.
963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in BTC? on: April 16, 2023, 11:33:12 PM
Investing at the low bottom will decrease the risk. This means when we invest at the bottom we'll have an advantage to book the profit at the earliest. The same isn't possible with other forms of investment. When we buy at an increased price the risk used to be high. Anyhow looking at the upcoming halving it is good to spend following dollar cost average system for the purchase of bitcoin than waiting for the down price.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving only 1 year away on: April 16, 2023, 11:29:16 PM
A great reminder for people who are still actively trading Bitcoin rather than being an investor in Bitcoin itself. It's really very lucky for those of us who are still in the early stages of getting to know Bitcoin. I'm still curious about how it will be during the last halving, will the era be a completely decentralized era? or even people will start leaving Bitcoin especially miners because they no longer get their block reward.

When I first joined this forum last 2017, I remember the price of 1 BTC = ~$4,000 on the market. Every time a halving occurs, the price skyrockets and I was not able to capitalize on that opportunity to maximize my investments.

Given that the next halving is a year away, I do highly recommend to everyone to HODL their BTCs in order to take advantage of this situation. In addition, this will serve as a personal reminder for me to save my BTCs in order to prepare for my next big purchase. I just really hope that everything ends well for everyone at this time.
Everyone could've had this experience. Most of the people would've missed one of the opportunity to sell and book good profit when the price of bitcoin went above $20k for the first time. Every halving is important and till date no halving have disappointed the holders. Based on the past historical growth of bitcoin we can expect similar level of growth to take place with the upcoming halving.
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Gambling 13 years later.......... on: April 15, 2023, 11:08:12 PM
Everything is a cyclic process. People always realise the importance later, atleast the usage have come around earlier. Because, the circulation through gambling have helped the bitcoin market progress and have some real-time usage. Though it is looked as a token developed for gambling needs and illegal transactions, the transition it have come through is really big and not all innovation were able to reach such a status in its short time period.

13 years passed and now what he had dreamt years back have come true. Soon we can expect that gambling is possible only through cryptocurrency. As of now the cryptocurrency accepted gambling platforms are much popular against the fiat based platforms.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 15, 2023, 11:01:04 PM
The advantage for Napoli is the return of Osimhen to the team and they are hosts for the second leg but that doesn't mean that Ac Milan chances are quite small in the second leg because they have winning capital which makes them more confident in facing Napoli in the second leg.

AC Milan has shown a winning mentality ahead of Napoli; they've met twice recently and won both games. Napoli lost to them in both Serie A and the Champions League. The second leg encounter will still be difficult to predict who will win because Napoli’s key scorer Osimhen will be present; perhaps this will increase the players' confidence to play to win AC Milan in the Champions League second leg.
Yes, AC Milan stay dominant in the matches against Napoli. In one of its encounter Milan managed to score 4-0 against Napoli. From there it have won 2-1 against Lecce and the other one is drawn against Verona. The upcoming match is more important and the the odds were completely in favour of AC Milan which used to vary when the match is live. This time Napoli will record its win against AC Milan under the guidance from Luciano Spalletti as it is something pre written that AC Milan wins against Napoli as the last four encounters were in favour of AC Milan.

Al Baten 1 - 0 Al Hilal

wow this is an unexpected result, given that the difference between these two teams was very big, the first big difference between these two teams is in the position of the table, Al Hilal is in position number 4 with 46 points, while Al Baten it is in the last position, it is in position number 16 with only 15 points. the second big difference is in the performance of these two teams in the last 4 games, Al Hilal in the last 4 games had only one defeat and wins and only 1 draw. while he had 2 losses and 2 wins. in this game al hilal had 76% possession of the ball

but surprisingly even with 76% ball possession al hilal failed to make a shot on target, while Al Baten who only had 24% ball possession managed to make 3 shots on target, in this game Al Hilal failed to score at least 1 goal despite having 76% of ball possession, while Al Baten, who only had 24% of ball possession, scored 1 goal. they are a bit funny, on paper it even seemed that Al Hilal were going to be much superior, but on the field the effectiveness was in Al Biten who knew how to take advantage of the opportunity and scored a goal and with that won the game, with this result if the Al Baten get at least 2 or 3 wins in the next games so I see them leaving the relegation zone

As I said before, that Al Hilal is in a very unpleasant condition with a very busy schedule. imagine, since April 2nd, Al Hilal has played 5 matches. meaning, in every 3 days, this team has to play whether it's a home game or an away game. that means, in two weeks Al Hilal played 6 matches at once. including, the match against Al Nassr on April 19.

I think, specilogically, the impact will be felt for the Al Hilal players and the lightest effect is a decrease in performance. in fact, we can see and compare when Al Hilal played some of his matches. since fighting Al Fayha, Al Hilal has experienced a decline in performance and collapsed in the next match against Al Shabab. besides that, Al Hilal faced problems against Al Ta'ee which ended with a score of 2-2. three days later, Al Hilal visited Al Batin.
Continued match with short time gaps is really an acceptable reason for the decline in the performance. During the same time period other teams have played just 2 matches and to the max 3 matches played by few teams. Among that it was able to win two matches against Al-khaleej and Al Feiha. Big loss against Al-Shabab and disappointment against Al-Batin, draw against Al-Ta'ee. Then onwards the schedule isn't that close and can expect better performance coming out of the team.

Teams have begun to perform better than expected and the same makes the competence tough for the teams on the top of the table. Any small mistakes could easily drag them down. With this upcoming Al-Hilal vs Al-Nassr have gained more expectation.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 15, 2023, 10:11:07 PM
20th Match has started today in Indian Premier League. Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to bowl. Royal Challengers Bangalore now come to bat.
So disappointing moment for Delhi Capitals because it's consecutive 5th lose for them in Current Season of IPL. I think captain player an important role in the performance of his team and due to absence of Rishabh Pant I think the player didn't feel confident which cost them Soo many defeat. While on the other hand a big hand of applause for Royal Challenger because after two consecutive defeats they had come to won the game, Virat the inform boy again scored magnificent half century for his team which help them to chase the required target..

Delhi is losing every match due to the bad performance of the batsmen. There is no way to blame Delhi's bowlers for their defeat in today's match. Bengaluru collected 174 runs. And 174 runs on such a pitch in IPL was not a big target. Even then the Delhi team could not win. The performance of the top-order players was very poor. Warner did not bat slowly today. So his innings stopped at just 19 runs. Mitchell Marsh, Prithvi Shaw, and Yash Dhull top order batsmen totaled 1 run. If Delhi batsmen batted with some responsibility in today's match they could have got the first win.
The team isn't good at chasing targets. Based on the performance till date, Delhi Capitals could win a target around 150 runs, beyond that the team isn't prepared. Because from the very first match what it have scored while chasing as well as batting first are 143, 163, 142, 172 and 151 runs. In today's match it is completely the batting line-up failure, if not Delhi Capitals would've recorded its first win. Losing three consecutive and important wickets is truly bad. That too at the start of the innings, One thing to be appreciated, even after such scenario somehow the team managed to reach 151 runs. Atleast in its next match against KKR it needs to correct the mistakes and record its first win to start its position on the points table.

~
As usual, the Pakistan team once again depended on the performance of Babar Azam and Rizwan in today's match as well. Rizwan scored 50 runs and Babar Azam scored an unbeaten 101 runs. Due to the excellent performance of these two batsmen, Pakistan was able to set a huge target of 193 runs. Fakhar Zaman and Ayub performed well in the last match but these two batsmen could not collect any runs today. I don't think Pakistan will be defeated after giving such a big target. Because Pakistan's bowling line-up is strong.

New Zealand batsmen collected only 154 runs. They collected 154 runs by losing 7 wickets. Also, looking at New Zealand's batting, I don't think they are batting to win. Apart from Mark Chapman, no other batsman had a strike rate of more than 130.
If anyone of the player(Babar Azam, Rizwan) have lost his wicket earlier, Pakistan would've scored around 160 runs. Same as the first match, it was Harish Rauf who have kept the match in the winning position. Took four wickets and everyone are important though they had made good target to chase. For New Zealand it is Chapman who have scored the highest run and stood not out till the last. If this is the way New Zealand play, Pakistan will easily record the series win by the end of third T20 match.
970  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that 80% of the world's wealth in the hands of 20%? on: April 14, 2023, 11:27:07 PM
Nothing can be done to overcome the present economic structure. Wealth getting accumulated into the hands of specific percentage of people is true and they have achieved it through their continued work. What government can do is provide support based on the economic order. To have the perfect data on the people's economic situation is really tough task. If a government is able to do it, then it can share are give subsidiaries and added benefits to lift their living. This can be effective, but not every class of people will agree with it. Because every citizen pay equal tax based on the income and the lower class of people getting additional benefits will surely turn to be a controversy.

Sinner has won really easy against Musetti. Probably Musetti was "tired" from the last match against Djokovic (?) but Sinner is actually in a good shape. Against Rune it would be interesting a match... both players are "the future" of this sport Roll Eyes

Agreed, both players are definitely making their mark on the game, really hard to pick
a winner from this matchup, eventhough I would love Sinner to win, Rune has been
impressive so far, I think the winner of this matchup will win the tournament.

And another note, Fritz did really well to beat Tsitsipas, Frits is also an improved player!
Rune and Fritz have made an awesome play. I predicted it to be win for Medvedev ans Tsitsipas.
Every quarter final results have come out of the direct set winning. No match moved to 3rd set.
Medvedev losing 3-6 4-6 against Rune is unexpected, so is the win of Fritz 6-2 6-4 against Tsitsipas.
Semifinals needs to be tough as the quarter finals looked to be something an one sided matches.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 14, 2023, 11:16:10 PM
Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana are playing fairly well. Can we see another Rinku Singh masterclass(abiet it was dreadful bowling last time around). 70 needed of 24 balls, its not impossible.
Even though the total was impossible to chase as they had too much runs to get in the end Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana took the team closer to the target and gave a perfect entertainment for the viewers as i thought it would be a one sided match once the target was 228 runs and lost wickets at regular intervals but played well for the 6th wicket.
228 runs is a big target and it surely keeps the team under pressure while chasing. Every 20 runs added to 180 runs add more pressure to the team, because they can't miss a over to keep the score coming. Missing an over will cause the team to have additional pressure, which could cause fall of wickets. Amidst the wicket fall, Rana and Rinku Singh contributed good and if players have stood strong earlier this could've been a winning match for KKR. As said, rather than an one sided match, it went close which is really good. Anyhow KKR keeps to be on the top four position on points table.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 14, 2023, 11:11:03 PM
Pakistan need to focus on winning this series first as Pakistan also is struggling side specially in T20 format. Its very much clear that this NZ team will give tough time to Pakistan.
New Zealand has lost the first match very pathetically. I'm not expecting any tough fight from them in this series as the key players are missing in the squad. Where Pakistan is playing with their main squad. Perhaps, Pakistan will easily win this series against New Zealand. New Zealand has lost their last 5 wickets within 7 runs today.

Pakistan won by 88 runs. Pakistan scored 182 runs. Both Babar and Reason fail. Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayyub both scored 47 and 47 runs. New Zealand were all out for 94 runs. The opening batting was not good. Mark Chapman scored only 34 runs. No other player scored 20+ runs. Pakistan will win the series easily.
Both the teams have lost their entire wickets. Pakistan could've had the home ground advantage and the win keeps them on the lead of 1-0. More four matches will be very interesting and after a long a five match T20 series. In both the teams there is specific players that have contributed to the score. New Zealand performance is bad as two tail order bowlers got out for zero runs. Five batsmen have scored single figure run. Rest have scored 11, 15, 20 and 34 runs. Harish Rauf had good bowling spell taking 4 wickets with an economy of 5.14 rpo. The IPL matches have completely hidden the T20 match between the two teams.

Thats why i can never give any game an 100 percent trust because i just lost a 15$ stake on my rollbit account on parley selection which i added this particular match because of the statistics showing between the two teams and i never expected this shocked defeat by al hilal, i mean i have been following up with this saudi arabia league and so far i have had a fair share of successful prediction but today this suprised results just shocked me and its a clear definition that soccer is a game of many surprises.
With football we were able to experience similar kind of results quite rare. With tennis quite often the results used to be completely unexpected. If we have placed against the odds suggested by the platform we could've got good profit. Al-Hilal placed at the 4th position on the points table losing to the team at the last position on the points table is completely unbelievable. Based on the match statistics, Al-Hilal leads in each and everything but they weren't able to convert the shots into goals. Upcoming week we've got some matches with big expectation and the win of Al-Hilal had increased the expectations.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: April 13, 2023, 09:53:29 PM
I do not have any investment in Doge yet but am thinking about it.

I am looking for investments that will 5-10x next bull run and looks like this is a good bet considering it's all time high is $0.70.

Many say it will go past $1 next bull run and it could well do but think I would get out around $0.70 which would be a 7x if I was to invest at todays price of $0.10.

Would be good to hear some views on this - are you for or against Doge?

Look at what happens even when elon preaches about doge it goes up 20% and falls right back.  Anyone who bought in the last bull run is still sitting with bags of doge waiting to offload it.  Last time around it wasn't like that.  Doge most likely won't spike like that again unless bitcoin goes real high, and if that's the case why not just buy bitcoin.
The market that bounced and gave good profit irrespective of the bitcoin price in the past will now have its dependence over bitcoin. Earlier the market of dogecoin is completely connected to the influencers and based on their decision we were able to experience changes in the market of dogecoin. Later several tactical moves have been done and nowhere dogecoin made a bounce same as that we experienced once after words of Elon Musk. Recently he tried to change the logo of Twitter and make impact on dogecoin, even that didn't worked for him.

Sinner has won the match against Hurkacz. The first set was win by the polish player but lately there was not match (at least on third set with a strong win of 6-1 !)
About Italians player, the former winner of Wimbledon, Berrettini again out of the game! It seems that he was injured and he has left the tournament Sad Terrible year for the player Sad

Italian tennis is in a great place with Sinner leading the way but BIG KUDOS to
Musetti who just beat Djokovic over 3 sets, now if Zverev can despatch Medvedev
we have a very interesting tournament ahead!

Its a pity for Berrettini, its bad luck that he is plagued by injury, such great talent.
He really needs to get fixed up and playing competitively again.
Medvedev have won against Zverv 3-6 7-5 79-67. The match result have come through the decider set tie breaker.
Medvedev to play Rune in the quarter finals, which will be won by Medvedev.
Fritz to play against Tsitsipas, which is in favour of Tsitsipas. Fritz used to reach quarter finals in most of the tournament.
Rublev vs Struff - Rublev seems to be the favourite.
Sinner vs Musetti - The fight for the Miami Open trophy could've given him more confidence to perform. With that we can expect an easy win from him.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 13, 2023, 09:09:27 PM
Being rich and poor have got different definition. For some people having daily food is rich, because 10% of the population is living without food which means trying to fill the stomach with water or something out of the waste. Around 29% of the population is living with the insecurity of food, which means people don't know whether they'll get food for tomorrow or not. So, what you call rich needs to be defined so to make calculation with one bitcoin.

With the common calculation, in today's price single bitcoin could make a person rich. In my country one can have a small house and invest a small part with which he can get a small income. Wirh the remaining he can start a small business and lead his life fulfilling the needs of the family of four.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 13, 2023, 07:39:48 PM
You need to find a culture that accepts football as it is to make it happen and make it work. I have to say pick the world cup hosts from the top 20 ranked teams in the world, and I bet that you are going to be doing fine. Look at the top 20 leagues of the world and you will see where the world cup should be held, it will definitely be better that way.

In fact, the world cup is not just what sometimes you watch on TV at home you are watching the World cup games from home you will not understand how much money is spent on the world cup when they could spend the money on a good cause and how many workers died there, that what we saw in Qatar world cup and I think letting a country like Qatar host the world cup was not a good decision while in next world cup, we are going to see the difference.

I don't know what's the reason behind why Qatar wanted to host World Cup because it's probably not the money they are after because they are already petrol nation which economic doesn't need some more boost as with or without World Cup, their nation is already rich enough. And I doubt if they after the tourist because from my perspective, they aren't much of a tourist friendly nation.
Human rights violation is the major thing that had raised questions against Qatar, but nothing is taken seriously. The country hide everything and for that reason Qatar should be given atleast some penalty. The country doesn't have much history of football, however it received the hosting rights through bribe. Now once again it had requested for the hosting rights of U-19 World Cup.

If we look at Punjab Kings' previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad they had a boring performance both in bowling and batting. Gujarat Titans' points are higher than Punjab Kings but I feel that Punjab Kings will put up a good performance this time. Whether they win or not depends on both their batting and bowling performances. If Punjab Kings' bowling performance is good then their batting also needs to perform well.

It's hard to predict between Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. Yet one thing is for sure this match is going to be fantastic

If you compare both Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans, then you may notice one thing. Punjab is a bit overdependent on some of their star players, such as Shikhar Dhawan, Sam Curran and Arshdeep Singh, while Gujarat is a much more balanced team equally strong in all departments. On top of that, I liked the way Hardik Pandya captained the team so far. Anyway, both the teams have momentum with them, and they have lost just one match each till now. My guess is that Gujarat will win the match today, irrespective of who wins the toss.
Agreed, irrespective of the toss the match is much in favour of Gujarat Titans. Punjab Kings depending on few players won't give hands everytime. The match is going to be close as the last few matches that got its result as the very last ball of the match. Shikhar Dhawan played well in the last match and this time has already walked to the pavilion. Both the teams are equally strong and Gujarat Titans have the wicket standing capability which boosts the confidence to win any match irrespective of the target placed.
980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: April 11, 2023, 09:44:46 AM

It all depends upon the person involved with the business. Maybe some of the restaurants feel the transaction to be complex due to the lack of proper understanding. I do agree, not everyone are accepting bitcoin into the business. I have never been to El Salvador, and my knowledge about the country is based on the articles I go through and the information shared on YouTube. In the link shared I was able to see a mobile sim store not accepting bitcoin and opposite to the same store another mobile sim card store accepting bitcoin. I've come across a video in which roadside coconut vendor accepting bitcoin. El Salvador Roadside Shop

It's not just a question of who accepts Bitcoin and who doesn't but it depends on the fact that after the first year of adoption (already with poor results) the entire population and practically almost returned to accepting only dollars.

These guys came back exactly one year after their first visit, I remember well their excitement the first time as I also got some live feeds during their stay but after a year they came back and found many changes, hardly anyone used bitcoin some had even forgot the password to access the wallet.  All this because there has not been an incentive to grow, instead in the bitcoin jungle or bitcoin lake it is working because the adoption comes from the bottom in silence.
We can't expect the changes to take place overnight. Maybe there is decline in the acceptance from businesses for different reasons. Same time it is to be agreed that more people are getting educated about bitcoin and starting to use it. Even in this video El Salvador and Bitcoin it is possible to see good number of people favouring the decision of bitcoin adoption, though they haven't used it very rarely. Over time the better usage can be experienced as El Salvador President have just sown the seed. It takes time to grow and turn fruitful and it is possible to see people praising as well as opposing the decision of President Nayib Bukele and it is true that his Nayib Bukele on power have taken the country on the progressive path than downwards.
