961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 16, 2023, 11:54:11 PM
These are exceptional people jumping from gambling to business is not easy and becoming a gambler and a businessman is quite risky, the other one can take over the other one, and if you are chasing your losses there's a possibility that you can use money in your business to do it.
And both ventures will need time if you're a professional gambler you have to keep up playing and if you're a businessman you have to oversee how the business is doing, not really that easy but these guys find a way to balance things and they are reaping the rewards, we can all learn from these successful people.
One can't serve two masters is an old days slogan, but that doesn't apply to today's world. Gambling is completely different from running a business. If things didn't go well the business fails. There are people who have done gambling out of the profits from business and lost everything. As said, these are exceptions where luck had favoured. If not these people could've never been successful and wouldn't be able to build such big businesses.
962  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 16, 2023, 11:44:25 PM
Most of the parents who had well known about finance and were into different kinds of investment prefer cryptocurrency. Even my mom preferred to invest into cryptocurrency, but by that time I was not that confident and ignored. This happened during the days after the 2017-18 bullish market. My mom preferred just based on the profit scale I briefed to her. She isn't much educated, but she understood well that nowhere it is possible to book profit as cryptocurrency.
963  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 16, 2023, 11:35:16 PM
Anyway, don't underestimate "waggering user" why? because they can reach 2,000 - 5,000$ wagering with only 5-10$. So up to them mate!
You are right, but it has a opposite side too. I was capable of wagering a good amount by using the wagering strategies with small losses. Even I had made profit a lot of times by using the wagering method. But my luck has disappeared and I'm losing 10 times more than I would lose for the house edge. Stake.com has become a money-eating machine for me now. I have lost 90% of my deposits at Stake in the last few months.
I guess it is time you take a break, I know that may sound like hell but then at this time it is better to cool off for a while and when your luck returns you can then try to recover since you already have a higher wagerer with track records of winning.

Who knows, may be when you return from the break you will set a new record of continuing winning using your strategy.
When things doesn't favour we should take a break. Whether it is a winning streak or losing streak we should know the start and stop point. Most of the time people find it hard to stop when they gets closer to reaching next level of the VIP program. Even at such situation we should understand and understand wager little by little, maybe our reach gets delayed. If we don't have patience, we might end up losing everything and frustration is the outcome which is really bad and never lets us enjoy gambling.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why The Majority Of the Population Will Embrace CBDC's on: March 16, 2023, 11:24:22 PM
Maybe a scenario could arise where people will be in a situation to use CBDC instead of the fiat money. Just the digital transition, and people will be under the control of government in a better way than through the paper money. Nothing changes, it is upto the people how they take it forward. Even now more countries have got their own CBDC and that haven't made any impact or gained importance as the real cryptocurrencies. The existence of CBDC is to have control and to keep the market of traditional fiat running. To the changing technology it is a must to make changes and I believe the governments will understand the need of cryptocurrencies someday.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 16, 2023, 11:16:31 PM
In the first semi final its Medvedev v Tiafoe, I think Medvedev will prevail and go to
the final and if so who of the 4 remaining competitors in the 2 remaining quarter finals
could beat him in the final? Alcaraz?

Medvedev is playing really great tennis at the moment. He will certainly win against Tiafoe. I do not see anyone who could beat him in the final at the moment. Alcaraz is not ready yet. Medvedev comes into the final with a lot of confidence. He has already won 3 tournaments this year and will probably win this one as well.

The only thing that can stop Medvedev is that he is really tired. He already said that the court is awful and too slow and that it is causing problems for him. But Tiafoe might cause problems for Medvedev. But if Medvedev plays against Alcaraz he will win easily thats my opinion
Medvedev winning three tournaments could've boosted his confidence, but the opponents will try to take advantage over the injury. Medvedev will make it to the finals. Now the match between Alcaraz and Auger Aliassime have got importance as both are in high competence, though the odds are in favour of Alcaraz.

Alcaraz reaching the finals and the match between Medvedev and Alcaraz won't be that easy for both. Alcaraz winning the Argentina Open gives the confidence and in the previous encounter against Auger Aliassime he have lost the match in direct sets.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is for the strong. on: March 15, 2023, 11:25:22 PM
This thoughts could've come to most of the gamblers after big loss. Personally my gambling thought is different, because I never spend on things that aren't necessary but I wish to have it. I'll try to manage with what is available. When it comes to gambling, I easily end up losing. Once after losing my mind says atleast I could've bought the things that I wished to buy. Recently I saved money to buy a cycle as New year's first purchase, finally thought of giving a try with gambling and lost everything. Till date I wasn't able to buy the cycle which I wished to have it for my regular usage.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Super League #PSL Discussion Thread on: March 15, 2023, 11:17:13 PM
In the past two matches Lahore Qalandars have played very bad. In the previous match while chasing 196 runs, it ended at 110 runs. In the playoff once again it failed against the easy target of 160 runs. From the very beginning wickets started to fall, but someone could've stood strong. In between it looked like Sam Billings making progress, but the same is stopped by the tremendous bowling of Ihsanullah. With one more opportunity left for the team to reach the finals, whether the table leader reaches the finals is unpredictable.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still a good invest? on: March 15, 2023, 10:56:37 PM
They are good short term profit makers.  Other wise, they are not good for pretty much anything.  Maybe DOGE is good for small transfers with low fees.  It was very good for this years ago, I do not know if it is the same way now.  But the other Coins are just short term hype pumps.

They are good investment if you think gambling your money is a good investment.

Investing on the meme coins were like gambling on our investment, however the meme coin development team were also into continued development and marketing. Shiba inu which was just a meme coin have now got importance as an investment. Though it is preferred for short term the investors count is high as well as it had got acceptance in different businesses. Next to that is the Floki, and I never expected such good promotion from it. Surprised to see it on one of the cricket team jersey.

969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: March 15, 2023, 10:38:59 PM
The crypto market is completely dependent over the bitcoin. The movement of bitcoin will be followed by the altcoins, so failure of bitcoin will cause altcoins to fail. Some centralised altcoins will be manipulated and kept at a better position. For now there is no need of discussing about such an instance, because it is assured that bitcoin never reaches down to such a value based on theoretical calculations. In realtime we don't know, because it is the only asset that have the ability to bounce from $20k to $26k in a single day.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: March 13, 2023, 11:59:27 PM
What do you think, Binance price will surge above $289 or bearish trend will drag it down?
Of course I think BNB will grow. Ethereum, BNB is the most popular coin after Bitcoin. We have seen that recently last 2-3 days the market has come down a lot. The BNB market fell to $265. Many thought that the BNB market might be able to stay under $300. But Binance Coin rose to $313 as all markets rose.
What a bounce in the market. Price of bitcoin have crossed $24k after it hit the value down to $20k. BNB reaching $300+ have taken place and it is predicted to grow even further. BNB price will be maintained at a better price, because this being an exchange backed coin we were able to experience good growth in the market as the exchange leads in service offered and new products.
971  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 13, 2023, 11:58:50 PM
Do you have a receipt that proves most entrepreneurs have bachelors degrees? Because most of the degree holders in our country are not businessmen, and most of the businessmen here are not degree holders as long as the majority do not have bachelors degrees.

Although I'm not saying that being a bachelors degree doesn't help. there are others like bachelors degree whose course is not in line with the business they are doing as far as I know.
Higher education does not make you rich but only broadens your horizons and opens the way for more logical thinking. If you are rich, it is like a person who works hard and works smart (use logic) and is supported by good luck, aka luck too. Important or not important lecture is up to you. Because the real key to success is hard work and smart work.

Many of the richest people in the world have no higher education. like Bill gats he is the richest man in the world he failed his exams and dropped out of his college because he thought that college could make him poor. But he didn't give up, he continued to sell, he always worked hard and worked smart, now he has a wealth of $ 129 billion
Not all those who failed the college became Bill gates of Steve Jobs. They have some amazing minds that is why they are unfit in the normal situation.
During Covid - most of the people with higher education and those with less education are on the same pedestal.
So that is why we can't say that without education one can be successful. .  .neither the higher education promise the fine job.
I don't see education as a big and important thing that we need to do or enroll for. Education is there to help us in knowledge but we can get knowledge from experience and what we do. If you go to higher education and you did not get a job of your choice then you are wrong and I see it as a total waste of time. do not forget that education is important in our lives.
Education is an important thing, one with education will surely understand and act accordingly. Experience will surely make way to success, but an educated persons way of execution and through experience have lots of difference. To implement what we learnt through education used to be simple, whereas the same through experience takes time.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trust in cryptocurrency? on: March 13, 2023, 11:53:14 PM
Recently, I've been wondering, and based on the people I live with, I'd say that only 20% of them know what cryptocurrency is.
Sometimes I ask my friend or colleague if he knows what Bitcoin is, and if they're young (20-35 years old), they say, "Yes, I've heard about it. But I don't know much about it."
If I'm talking to older people (40–60), mostly they don't know what it is.

We are living in a world of big changes in every aspect of life. But do you think it will be time when cryptocurrency will come into our lives and be normal for all people? Will people be able to trust crypto?

I'm wondering what your opinion is about this.

Of course the old generation will not accept or understand this bitcoin thing as compare to the younger generation. Old people are resistant to changes and hence don't expect that they will easily understand the crypto.

The other major reason why crypto is not yet adopted by many people is because the government does not accept it. If we compare the stance of bitcoin in different countries, most of them will not be willing to accept them and rest of them will be thinking on how to control and stop the spread of crypto.
I'm not sure of it, based on what I've encountered with different people I'm sure good number of elderly people are into cryptocurrency. Countries that are against cryptocurrency are just trying to analyse and do favourable things. Adoption and acceptance of cryptocurrency over the years have increased with time. Same time countries have been developing their own CBDC to keep things under control. Trust is a major factor required while we use cryptocurrency.
973  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which element of cryptocurrency do you think is tough to understand? on: March 13, 2023, 11:47:59 PM
Whenever we decide something relative to cryptocurrency we should not suggest on choosing cryptocurrencies. The best choice is to brief them about the different cryptocurrencies available. We should not enter in anyone's investment, they should be let to invest without any intervention.

I had an experience with a friend. He requested suggestion and I gave him good learning about cryptocurrencies and asked him to choose the coin of his own. He choose one cryptocurrency randomly, and booked good profit. This was completely out of luck. If I've given suggestion, it might've ended in loss.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 13, 2023, 11:37:40 PM
Based on the urgency we should not think of spending. I've encountered similar situations and most of them were medical bills. In such situation we can't take any other decision. We can try other choices available, and mostly things won't work in emergency situation. Somehow we need to handle the situation with what is available with us.

Emergency funds are must with everyone's savings. I saw in a thread where an user got an opportunity to pay his wife's medical bill for pregnancy with bitcoin. He hadn't discussed about the market, but he found the direct paying access a better thing. So, at need we need to feel happy with the fund than the market.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have failed too severely, time to give up? on: March 13, 2023, 04:00:36 AM
Leave it for the buyers convenience. On the bill provided or through some source publish about your business accepting bitcoin. That is true, even the young generation aren't ready to do business with bitcoin for different reasons. Main thing is the lack of knowledge and not understanding cryptocurrency in the right way.

When you have bitcoin accepted signage, someone will prefer to do business with you. Maybe this doesn't happen in the short term. On the long run new buyers preferring bitcoin payments could contact you. Just think of the buyers, at the beginning they might've preferred only cash for business, slowly they might've moved to card and wallet based transactions. Every form of transition requires time. So, wait for the right moment than giving up with the bitcoin acceptance into business.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching teenagers about bitcoin. on: March 12, 2023, 08:36:07 PM
This is a much appreciable work and it is must for the younger generation to know about bitcoin. Today met with an incident. Three guys of the age 24-28 were in a restaurant. I was in the opposite table. Among them, one is familiar with cryptocurrency and he had been trying his best to make them understand. I saw his showing the difference that have taken place with different cryptocurrencies along with the stock market. Both heard till the last and finally they weren't able to accept such a volatile market. In that situation I understood, spreading the word in the right way is what essential to make the future better for cryptocurrency usage.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Gambling Legalization Reduce Gambling Rings? on: March 11, 2023, 09:29:04 PM
What is the need for using a service that have got more and more risk with a higher reward on the amount risked. We've got trusted platforms that gives access to each and every game and other casino games. Apart from the online services you've got best land based casinos. Good is to use those than thinking of legalizing.

In the past when bookies were much dependent for all the gambling needs such activities had their usage. Now they're no more into usage as gambling is much user friendly and with trust one can have some good time spent and entertained.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 11, 2023, 09:22:19 PM
Dortmund were actually quite dominant against Schalke in this derby match just as expected. But they still couldn't win the match despite getting ahead two times. I really appreciated Schalke's resistance against them. Despite playing under pressure they were able to deal with it amazingly. Dortmund's weaknesses in defense played a big role in this match to end by 2-2 as well. Schalke didn't lose a match for weeks of course but I thought this would be the match to end their streak.

But instead Dortmund's winning streak has come to an end. Dortmund should have won there to keep up with Bayern Munich in the standings.
Dortmund ended the match in a draw. By the end of first'half, they were dominating with the lead and had good attempt of shots towards the target. In the second half, from the very beginning the match got eased as the goal came for Schalke at 50th minute. The defensive tactics could've been followed, but Dortmund were much into making goals. The same is being used and Schalke and the match ended as 2-2 draw. Dortmund have ended its undefeated 9 matches win with the draw.
979  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: March 10, 2023, 11:59:30 PM
You need to be passionate on something and have a satisfied mind. If this is possible with a person, then he/she'll never think about money as power. Will this be reality, this kind of person can be seen one on hundred or thousands. When we're passionate about something we follow it and the same could bring money that is sufficient. At this point greed should not accompany us, and we should have satisfaction with what we've got. This attitude is must for everyone to rule away power of money.
980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let them make the choice of bitcoin on: March 10, 2023, 11:55:11 PM
If you feel convincing people are more difficult, you don't need to do it and let those who come to you ask for an explanation of Bitcoin. If you keep trying to convince others even though they don't want to know about Bitcoin, you can disagree with that person and will cause damage to your relationship with that person.

I had experienced it before with a friend but he was still uninterested and even said that Bitcoin was a fraud. And finally, I gave in to him and changed the topic to other things. It's clear he is not interested and we don't need to continue the conversation about Bitcoin and let him decide.
For me it's not that good to keep convincing people that are not yet ready to invest in Bitcoin. If you keep telling people to invest in Bitcoin and they decided to invest and at the end they make loses because they where nit able to understand how the Bitcoin market works. I think the best ideology for inviting people to invest in Bitcoin is to teach them on how to buy and how Bitcoin works. This will sharpen there mindset for whenever they are ready to invest in Bitcoin. This is the best way to go about that.
Revealing to the people about the existence of bitcoin is good thing, when it comes to investment it is their choice. At any point we should not suggest them to invest, let them analyse, learn, understand and based on what they've understood it is their choice to invest or leave. As stated, we just suggest for their good, but everyone won't take it with a positive mind. Investing for the first time always have fear and the same could end up losing as the market is volatile. This could lead to problem in relationship, whats the need for it when we have thought of doing good for them. To avoid such situation it is wise to stay calm and watch.
