961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: April 12, 2018, 04:03:56 AM
I've made up my mind already since i started doing cryptos. It's been a  challenge for myself of hodling crypto assets that i have despite of crypto crisis these days. I am still optimistic that bitcoin will come back again strong.
I really do not expect holding to be a challenge for someone who understands the impact what they are holding will create in the future. I believe we have not seen anything yet. Unfortunately, the bigger players are gradually beginning to see this while some people in this community keep looking at bitcoin recovering or not and they are starting to accumulate knowing it is the future and it would make no sense not holding a lot of it.

The rich will just keep getting richer, isn't it ? Recovery is normal for any market, and downtrend does not change what the future holds for a strong market that is disrupting so many things.
962  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying Coins on: April 11, 2018, 06:37:23 PM
You can buy from many trusted exchanger or try paxful, I am selling here.fully escrow system no risk..

Choosing the best coin is very difficult because it is the future so before investing choosing is very important so there are many sites available to buy a coin so choose a coin from ratings it is the only way to choose a coin.
Anyone who is definitely looking into choosing an area of investment will obviously have to do some level of digging first on such coin before even investing as that is the norm. So many people today especially newbies always look out for quantity and forget about the quality the coin or a token offers and then end up buying into and bag holding shit coins. We should always do some due diligence before buying any coin for long term.

We all want to obtain the cheapest prices for our coins but there are many circumstances in which is a bad idea to be so cheap, there are many people that have put their money in an exchange of doubtful reputation and they lost all their money, so if it it comes to that it is way better to pay a little bit more but buy in an exchange that has a very strong reputation.
As long as you believe in any coin's future, I have always believed that the cheapest price is still now considering how things may still turn out in the future. I have seen how so many people react to the fact that they cannot buy much of the coin based on the present value and forgetting what the value of that particular coin can actually turn out to be in the future.
963  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin global regulation on: April 11, 2018, 06:05:20 PM
Different regulations in each of these countries actually generate a polemic. However, making global regulation seems to be the only solution to solve this cryptocurrency problem. The G20 plan will also make the virtual currency the main focus of the upcoming conference.
How can a global regulation even occur when we have each country for itself ? I believe every single country will just have to come up with her own regulation on the way forward rather than having to stick with one single regulation which I absolutely feel would work more for the cryptocurrency space.

Plus, having one single regulation may not even work well for some and may be in favor of other countries implementing it, and since we have a lot of independent countries and a decentralized space, it cannot work that way.
964  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good buying price for bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 03:03:10 PM
The best price was in 2010... I need time machine!

You better stop dreaming with that time machine. Cheesy Grin

I am not really sure if 2 to 3 months bitcoin will be back to its all time high. But November and December will be very exciting and interesting if we can really touch $40,000.  Grin
Anyone would have really loved to see a time machine like that in play lol. A lot of us wish we could travel back as far back as 2010, but it is life. Those who saw the future and took the opportunity are the ones enjoying it now, and those who are taking the opportunity now are the ones who will be enjoying it in the future.

I know we still have a long way to grow with respect to growth and that is what anyone should be looking forward to, and a time will come when some would wish they even joined at this point in time.
965  Economy / Economics / Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest? on: April 11, 2018, 12:40:53 PM
kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.

It is not strange, it happens in all investments whether it is stocks, mutual fund or bitcoin. It is part of the risk you take when you invest on something. You can never know where the price is headed that is why you should always be prepare, never invest money that you cannot afford to lose.
Yeah, most times if you understand the goodies that lie in the future anyway, no matter when you invest, it is the future that would count. Some investors even when investing at the peak really would not care since they invested nothing they could not have afforded to lose and they could still use the opportunity now to buy more.

No one knows the wrong time in the market until it becomes wrong, the only thing that makes it wrong is when someone did not do proper diligence and ended up panicking and making the wrong decisions on their investment.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can FUD destroy bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 04:41:38 PM
It matters how big the FUD is, who is spreading it, and who is believing it. If the FUD is big, something along the lines of people being able to steal bitcoin from a code problem in bitcoin -- that in and of itself is going to be a pretty scary claim for people -- plus if this is spread by mainstream media companies, I would think that this is going to be the nail in the coffin for bitcoin.

But let's say in the off chance everyone has lost faith in the MSM, then it doesn't matter what they say or report.

So yes, but the stars have to align in my eyes.
I would even rather stick to the fact you stated that 'WHO BELIEVES IT ?’
The thing is FUD generally cannot destroy bitcoin; otherwise we would not have been here today even after all that happened with MtGox, Bitstamp and the likes a long time back.

Yes, the market responds to FUD quickly than even good news, but it is generally part of the market and no matter what, it is something we have to always expect to happen and how we respond to it is all that matters within that short period.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are your main sources of Bitocin/Crypto news? on: April 10, 2018, 03:52:32 PM
what are your main sources of Bitocin/Crypto news?
I mostly come to the bitcointalk.org forum and the RedditBitcoin community to know what’s happening and to also know what’s trending lol. There are some news that I might not see when surfing the net, but when I come to anyone of these communities (Reddit and Bitcointalk) I will see a thread where people are discussing one thing or the other that I don’t even know about. So I will count these two communities as my number one reliable source of getting the news about cryptocurrency. Apart from the two I do go to CryptoCoinsNews, Coindesk, and some others too.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: April 10, 2018, 05:13:32 AM
Yup, undoubtedly its a bubble.
I really hope most of you understand what an economic bubble means. We may want to think of what happened last year as a bubble, which obviously we have gotten the result so far, but that does not necessarily make the whole cryptocurrency space a bubble and it is left for each individual to know what they are investing in.

Invest in a pump and dump coin with nothing to sustain its value then, you are investing in a bubble, but if what you are holding certainly has future and when the demand gets real for usage, you will enjoy the benefit and I do not call that a bubble as long as the value is sustained.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumor in April Fools' Day on: April 09, 2018, 04:46:48 PM
Does anyone think of that in April Fools' Day, we have so much rumor in social network and newspaper about btc or crypto to raise prices and get started bull run market. Or we have many FUD to push prices down. In my opinion, we have some good news (there are also fake and real) to make the market grow again
Today is the 2017-18 financial year end for a couple of countries like India, UK, Japan and etc. maybe this is also one reason why the price is falling, tomorrow onwards 2018-19 financial year will start so I think in April people again start to invest in cryptocurrency and the market will grow.
Well, maybe we will have to wait then to see how this is going to be playing out. As it is though, it does not seem like the market is showing any sign yet, but when the time is ripe, we will definitely know. Based on some of the things we saw last year, this was about the period we started seeing some movements in the market and that was good enough for those who took the advantage back then. Let’s hope we get to see some green moves in the market soon.
970  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Will bitcoin disappear in the future? on: April 09, 2018, 11:31:18 AM
We shouldn't worry about bitcoin disappearing because we could be dead before bitcoin becomes obsolete. Only a few countries are against bitcoin and crypto I don't think that's something to worry about. The government can do whatever they want against bitcoin but that won't stop crypto from growing over time. Imo it'll take maybe several decades before another altcoin overcomes bitcoin.
I am sure even when we are dead and long gone, bitcoin would still somehow remain. Even though no one can be certain what the future holds, we can at least still kind of be hopeful that it is going to be a great one. If government wanted to get rid of bitcoin or cryptocurrency at large, I am sure they would have done that already, but this is something they know is not achievable and the building of their own currency based on the blockchain technology will not affect anything.

I believe governments and central banks will start adopting bitcoin rather than trying to suppress it. Because the demand of need of bitcoin may decide everything and which is the only force to ensure the sustainability of bitcoin in long run.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: April 09, 2018, 11:00:59 AM

I think on the ICO it wouldn't affect in any way, most likely there will be changes in the Bounty. But in my opinion there is enough other resources for campaign. It possible that Riddle would be more popular in Bounty companies. I'm in the German project Vreo.io  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2898738.msg29810876#msg29810876 And there besides Facebook there are Medium, Twitter, Youtube, Telegram, Blog articles, Signature, Linkedin campaigns
It is not like ads are not even running as it is and as long as you can prove the legitimacy, you can still get your ads running. A lot of pages were locked as a result of this and after proving themselves to be a legal company, they were re-opened.

Although, I see no way this is generally going to affect ICOs in general, since it is not like the only medium where such things can be done, but I totally believe the move will surely help to curb out some scam ICOs. Because when the promotional methods are narrowing down then chances of fishing with random people also get narrowed down which may lead to less exposure for non-appropriate ICOs.
972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Price Going Down? on: April 07, 2018, 06:49:09 PM
In my respect, i believe it is normal to go downwards as long as there is some uncertainty about cryptos regarding the goverment laws that may be implemented in some countries.
Maybe the price is going down but people's awareness goes up and this will make bitcoin go to the top again!
Simply put, we cannot just always expect one directional movement every time. The way the market has always been, it is either we are in a downtrend today or in the next few days we are back in an uptrend. That is what generally makes a market and for those who are always losing hope because they bought at the top, they should either take it as a best option to always buy more at the bottom, because a market can never remain the same way most of the time and recovery is always good.
973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Guys, just hold.. We can agree on a few things. on: April 07, 2018, 05:00:40 PM
Buying ETH will be good for you as the prices for ETH have been so low right now. But what pinches me out here is your holding strategy. Actually altcoins don’t have big market so they don’t come out of the dip once gone down. So holding would be of not much profit as you would be getting higher margins of profit if you hold bitcoins. So review your decision and see if this can happen.
Not just ETH, the prices of most of the coins and tokens in the market right now have gotten so cheap and in fact, I am even targeting very good projects from ICOs right now as they are just getting beat hugely by the downtrend in the market and going below the ICO prices. However, it is always a good thing to hold and buy more now, because whether we like it or not, the market will still recover, even not now, later on and those who are buying and holding now, will not definitely regret it.

I've heard of people investing their entire life savings at the top. I definitely don't think that was a wise and logical decision. We were in total euphoria due to the price climax.
Some people risk all their saving into cryptos as they do believe cryptos are the future. I am not finding any wrong in their decisions even veteran people always suggest to risk only what we can afford to lose and cryptos are still in experimental phase.
974  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Still HODLing? There must be better way! on: April 07, 2018, 04:07:51 PM
For now, I'm still holding. I'm currently studying short term trading. I want to earn more for the meantime because my portfolio keeps on falling down. I will just hold the coins which I currently have and will add more coins for short term or day trading.
Must be a right move. The thing is that everyone keeps condemning holding until they try out trading without knowledge and then losing all they have completely. It is not all about just trying to take advantage of the market, the reason why a lot of people always say not to panic is so as not to make a mistake of leaving the market at the wrong time thinking you want to buy back lower.

If you are not cool with seeing your assets going down, then you can learn how to trade as it is better, even if it is long term just like you are about to do. That way, you can effectively take advantage of the fluctuations.
975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade for money or emotional satisfaction? on: April 07, 2018, 03:26:10 PM
I don’t really think so that there will be such kind of person who will be doing the trade for the sake of emotional satisfaction and that all those who are going to trade or are doing trade are doing it because they want to make money and that they want to change their lives and that this is the reason why there are so many traders sitting in the international market and are dreaming of having a better living too.
Anyone who is trading today is obviously trading to get rich and nothing else. Maybe the idea of getting rich while trading may make them emotionally satisfied but I do not think anyone with the act of trading itself will be looking at getting emotionally satisfied from it.

There is nothing like emotions in making money anyway, the essence of making money generally even outside trading is to make a lot of it, and it has nothing to do with emotional satisfaction. If anyone wants emotional satisfaction, they should fall in love or go and marry.
976  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bloodbath to End on: April 07, 2018, 08:29:40 AM
I think it is just normal to have dump in price like we experienced last week. The market analyst mentioned that some of the December 2017 investors has given up and sold their bitcoins. They were aiming to minimize their loss because they believe that bitcoin will drop again. I don't agree with that prediction because it shows on your post that there are a lot of changes that will entice the investors again. I think bitcoin will recover again and keep on increasing until December 2018.
Actually I see it as smart investors just seeing a lot of greed in the market last year and then deciding to opt out of the market knowing the outcome is always one that would not make sense after all. The market got highly speculative, we had a huge bull run, and that move drove us into a hard correction which we are still trying to find some consolidation for now.

They obviously will know when to get into the market when the time comes and they are just on the side of the fence watching in 3D. Being a true bitcoiner, I am eagerly awaiting for the day when bloodbath will be completely finished off. Fluctuations are good but this kind of complete downfalls are really hurting.
977  Economy / Economics / Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest? on: April 07, 2018, 07:57:45 AM
It is important for your personal goals, how much you invested I mean. And you are right, timing the market is crucial, in any market and especially a highly volatile one, and more so if you are dealing with short-term or daily trading.
The main reason most people always say you should invest what you cannot afford to lose is so that when times like this come, it would be easy for you to discard what is going on and move on with your daily life. The fact is you cannot time the market, you can only decide to stay careful but at the same time, you still have to play it with wisdom.

A lot of people who bought into FOMO may not have, but the truth is everyone had the perception of bitcoin to the moon, with nothing actually driving the demand except speculations and that was the bad thing but this does not mean in the nearest future, the previous ATH, will not end up being the future bottom.
978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is for long term investment on: April 06, 2018, 04:42:08 PM
So many people lose because investing bitcoin for the short term, then invest bitcoin better for long term
Greed is what has been the problem of most people. They always end up comparing themselves with someone who has been holding since early days and expecting that they will just enter the market and profit will just start swimming in for them all of a sudden. If they do not understand the volatility as well as the reason why they are investing in bitcoin, then they really do not even need to be here.

Bitcoin is good to hold for the longterm, bitcoin is an asset and every years the price of btc will be increase.
This year probably will be identified as an exception as I am worried on the current trend. Still I am too a long term investors and I hold all bitcoins since 2015. I am in profit side already hence I never need to change my initial plans.
979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: April 06, 2018, 03:35:53 PM
To my opinion there is no use if it. Such predictions and forecasts are often unreal and sometimes even funny so they can only mislead you. There are too much so called experts that actualy don't know anything about trading and as a final result you will not make but lose your money. And serious experts don't do such tutorials.
I prefer the word unreal. No one can forecast anything unless maybe you are just lucky to have joined a group of whales that are holding the market strong and can decide to make it dwindle to wherever they want it. However, as a serious trader who is ready to make money, following other people to trade is just bullshit. You will always be safer when you learn and you know exactly what you are doing in the market.
