Any interest in groestlcoin ? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525926.0

Was cpu only for about 2 hours...
There's a bounty for an nvidia gpu miner: standalone gpu miner (NVidia)     120*512=61440

Tried it, blocks don't come easily

stop thinking that we aren't already all over it Wink

because we are.

However this time we ran into technical glitches due to last minute changes to their CPU mining
software. They changed the code on release, which we did not notice.

Christian

Yeah, dark x11 algo, and the sub sha3 candidates would be awesome...we already have great keccak speed with 750 tis.
Big props!

@Christian

Does ccminer 0.2 have speed improvements in HVC as well?

I don't think it does...barely any difference here. Fugue yeah, 2x on 750 ti.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: KNC Mining TITAN - First SCRYPT Miner 100MHs+ - PreOrder [40/40 Available] on: March 23, 2014, 10:39:50 AM
Sounds good...0.5 for 2500kh/s is pretty legit. No maintenance nor hassle too.

Say we mine Doge, we should be able to get between 0.01 and 0.015 btc per day.

To get that currently you'd need to have 3 R9 290s which draw 288w from the psu and cost 500usd each!

This statement is valid today, but I doubt these numbers will be valid in September when the Titan probably arrives, Gridseeds will kill the numbers in the meantime Wink

Of course, difficulty will keep increasing, but it'll still be way cheaper than regular gpus for scrypt.
We can always resell the shares or the unit, like we did with the last group buy's btc miner.

Gpu mining now is a lot of hassle for some, but it's also worth it if you work on it.

Dev, what's the difficulty retarget time?

NO difficulty retarget, AFAIK, which is pretty weird Cheesy

I got like 5 million of em now.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 23, 2014, 01:56:56 AM
I got two new PNY GTX 750 ti's today.

So at 1400Mhz (Core) and +500 (memory), I'm only getting 2.3Kh/s on YAC. I tried it on both of my rigs and getting the same values. I also fine tuned the launch config, none else but this was the best that worked for me:

-H 1 -C 2  -i 0 -b 8192 -L 7 -l t100x1

I can't say that I'm impressed, was expecting more.

--algo=scrypt-jane:YAC -l t64x1 -i 0 -m 1 -L 2 -H 1

Try that  Wink

Or this:

-s 10 --algo=scrypt-jane:YAC -d 0,1 -i 0 -C 2 -b 8192,4096 -L 6,2 -l t12x32,t4x16 -m 1

780 and 750ti, 7.3kh/s and 3.45kh/s respectively.

75% rejection  Angry
Quit...

lol 23% here...what hardware?

GTX 780+GTX 750 Ti, that's all I got.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 22, 2014, 09:32:22 PM
So, what is faster? A 750Ti or a 760?

Something else... how do you undervolt Nvidia cards?

For mining 750ti is way better...in every regard.

As for my problem with hvc, it's not overclocking nor stability. Other mining programs work fine, games work fine, clocks stay pegged at boost clocks (custom bios).

It's just way lower hash, maybe the coin changing difficulties changed how hash rates are measured similar to primecoin's chains per day figures?
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CC] CrownCoin - Difficulty keeping LOW & Anyone can SOLO mining, NO PRE-M! on: March 22, 2014, 09:30:37 PM
Found a gazillion blocks...wonder if this will be worth anything lol
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 22, 2014, 08:15:59 PM
I'm having issues with ccminer 0.2 mining HVC, fugue seems to be alright.

Can't get my cards to reach their former performance figures lately, barely touching 10mh/s with both the 750ti and the 780. (used to be at 16mhs)

wth?

Reboot didn't fix it, and 0.1 (althought slightly faster) is nowhere near what it used to output.

Any ideas?
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - a cryptocurrency for Romania - ASIC and MultiPool proof ! on: March 22, 2014, 03:18:17 PM
sooo no news off any exchanges willing to list us for free? i've messaged a lot and had no reply
its getting worrying to see so many exchanges not willing to give this coin a chance

I don't think they ever list any coins for free...
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MYR] Myriad - Multi Algo - SHA or Scrypt or Qubit or Skein or Groestl on: March 22, 2014, 03:15:06 PM
Cool stuff!

Let's hope the coin picks up some steam...I really like it.

Also, keep in mind sha3 asics exist, not sure if they can be repurposed to mine these algos but it's worth keeping that in mind.
Maybe change the parameters, can that be done? Say, increase ram requirements somehow?

972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 22, 2014, 03:13:02 PM
Stupid btctalk, needs a multi quote...shittiest forum ever.

Anyway:

780+750ti for vert: cudaminer.exe --algo=scrypt:2048 -i 0 -l T12x20,T10x16 -H 2 -m 1 -b 4096 -o stratum+tcp://pool.verters.com:3333 -u ivanlabrie.1 -p x

That's good for 344 and 150kh/s respectively at 1267mhz and 1305mhz.

I'm still mining fugue, I'm getting way more than 133 per day, the guy who quoted me didn't read the whole post.
I mined for like 5-6 hours last night, will leave it mining 24/7 now.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 22, 2014, 12:59:30 PM
Yeah, I got 133 in a day (less than a day really, since Christian posted the binaries till now with a 6 hour period of no activity in between).
More like 4 hours?

We need an exchange, we can't dump at nxt-e lol
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 21, 2014, 11:39:25 PM
Happens when it crashes...seems to be more of a hog with overclocks, had to reduce my yacoin and heavycoin oc a little.

Leave roto to the amd crowd.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 21, 2014, 11:32:51 PM
Yeah! Close to 300mh/s mining fugue (780+750ti)  Cool

You're baws Christian!
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 21, 2014, 08:46:36 PM
+1 to roto...instamine won't last long.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 21, 2014, 07:38:44 PM
You won't get anything decent out of that laptop gpu...maybe try yacoin?
How much ram does it have?
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - a cryptocurrency for Romania - ASIC and MultiPool proof ! on: March 21, 2014, 02:27:33 PM
well we may be listed on cryptoaltex.com today if my latest trade goes through,
they have stated that if i donate the 0.3BTC i have said i will, they will put the coin directly on the exchange

Great news! Cheesy
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - a cryptocurrency for Romania - ASIC and MultiPool proof ! on: March 21, 2014, 02:14:46 PM
mintpal or poloniex...both are better than cryptorushin anyway xD
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 21, 2014, 02:07:18 PM
I'mma try maxie again.

HVC has been boring but heavycoinpool's promo made it interesting.

I tried the following settings and I just don't get it, must be an error lol:

[2014-03-21 11:03:41] GPU #1: GeForce GTX 750 Ti, 172163 khash/s
[2014-03-21 11:03:41] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 780, 11739714 khash/s
[2014-03-21 11:03:41] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 780, 13180101 khash/s
[2014-03-21 11:03:41] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 780, 18681443 khash/s
[2014-03-21 11:03:41] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 18853605 khash/s (yay!!!)

The 750 ti seems to be on par with other's results. wth? xD

EDIT: went over warp limits, so no accepted on that card.
Anyway, join us over at heavycoinpool, the bonus makes it way better than max right now.

0.0089 btc/day vs 0.0069 btc/day with my setup.
