981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a Morning Routine have any Effect as a Day Trader? on: March 14, 2023, 09:55:28 PM
Do you have a morning routine as a day trader?
I think when it comes to trading there's nothing as a routine especially if we're dealing here with 24/7 market condition. I do trade wherever, whenever, and however I wanted it. Yeah early bird catches the worm but as I said it's a 24/7 market so you can catch it whenever you want, depending on the market condition.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A costly gambling mistake on: March 14, 2023, 02:38:52 PM
You have to look for the website FAQ and go through it first, I have seen some newbies that avoid doing this has they ended up shooting themselves in the foot.
I always did but not going all through of it, you can just hit CTRL+F and then look for the keywords that needs to be filtered. It's a hassle, yes, but it wouldn't cost you 10 minutes if there's some filtration you do. If you can't read it on the time you join at least read it after you gamble your money and want to deposit once again.
983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value till 2033? on: March 11, 2023, 05:39:12 PM
I was wondering that what could be the value of Bitcoin as Bitcoin Is always rising if we take a look at its peak chart from 2009 to 2023. And if it continues than what will be the price after 10 years and I am very curious to Know about this.
I'm optimistic it's still on five to six figures valuation and I would love to be on that year and happy to accumulate even 1 Bitcoin when that time comes. It's always uncertain but it's better to be optimistic rather than focusing on the negative stuff, it ain't doing good at all.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is for the strong. on: March 11, 2023, 03:20:39 PM
With this, I wondered if other person's here in the forum that are into gambling too has at any point in time thought or felt that way, particularly when the losses are becoming overwhelming. And in that case, should such person stop gambling and rather divert such monies into something else since he/she ain't making corresponding wins or more, checking his bet history, Or he should carry on with hopes that winnings will start creeping in someday gradually?
There could be a chance that there is/are individual/s here who have felt the same way like the friend of yours. Moreover, can't really answer it for them but if you try to divert your attention to other stuff fully then you can possibly do it, with persistence and discipline. Gambling in fact shouldn't be considered a way to ease your life, yeah it could be but thinking normally it shouldn't have to be considering the high risk involves in it.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happening with USDC? on: March 11, 2023, 09:24:32 AM
If USDC dies like UST
You should have known that the case with UST and USDC are totally different here. You think Coinbase or BlackRock won't be able to cover the loss here? I wouldn't be able to tell but it's telling me they can.
Edit: https://twitter.com/DefiIgnas/status/1634417367265734656?t=2-uPwIEAzez2eHvGnJLA5A&s=19

Woah looks like it’s not just USDC but also DAI and USDD.
The case with DAI is explainable but I don't know the case with USDD depegging too, maybe just because from panic sellers.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: March 11, 2023, 06:57:53 AM

The recent price drop of Bitcoin and some bad news on the market may cause a new round of FUD for investors. With the price going down, Bitcoin will be more volatile in the short term and the Altcoins that depend on Bitcoin will go through more ups and downs. In this bear market, more investors are hesitant to any Altcoin investment. Apart from the macro environment factor, what truly holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? Please let me know your thoughts.
I'd say more downs for altcoins if Bitcoin will continue to go downhill. Well, the hesitation might be because of the fact that when bear market hits altcoins are the one to be hurt the most. I don't have anything that holds me back from investing into altcoins since I do hold altcoins but I hold back on those who doesn't have strong fundamentals that will make it out for the next bull run.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about stop gambling services issued by gambling platforms? on: March 10, 2023, 09:19:43 PM
What do you think about this?
The thing is with online gambling, casinos won't find if their customer is already a problem gambler, there won't be any sign to determine that. It's on the individual himself if he/she wants to self-exclude, it takes a lot of courage and positive thoughts though for a problem gambler to carry this out. Casinos won't find any signs of it but whoever are close to us will do especially family members so they should be the one first to spot those signs.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: March 10, 2023, 04:36:50 PM
It looks total crabs that without btc altcoin has no value streaming on its own. I observed several occasions when btc experience downtime, it affects the rest of the altcoin and when it pumps altcoin experience likewise.  I classified bitcoin as 🚜 tractors that levels prices of altcoins. ETH is second world best crypto that occupied core ria marketcap in the crypto market but yet it cannot survive without btc.

That's mean alternatively, if btc falls flat altcoin will dies off. What their deep relationship? Why btc important to altcoin, what's the connection in between? Will altcoins really survive without btc?
Says who that altcoins has no value without BTC? I think altcoins will thrive even Bitcoin fails though I ain't see a thing right now that it will fail. The connection in between is that altcoins mimic Bitcoin to experiment if they are much better than the King of cryptocurrency.

Again, look at crypto market cap of Ethereum, it's just below Bitcoin and  with that market cap, it can survive even if Bitcoin fails.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Win So Far at Fortune.st Casino on: March 10, 2023, 09:21:12 AM
Is this suppose to be posted here in gambling discussion? I think it would be good to put it on your own casino thread or it would have been nice to see if the winner did post it. Let's say it's a legitimate win but you don't escape from the fact that there will be skeptical about it.
990  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 09, 2023, 08:47:01 PM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not because I have a kid friend of about 14years and very eager to learn trading but am scared of the lost and how long it will take him to understand what his doing, because it hasn't been very easy for me. So what your opinion please I need help? because I think is too risky for them to go in to trade for now.
I researched and stocks has something about it but only allow to those who have parents account, it was more like custodial thing that involves the parents. It's risky if one thing that your kid had in mind was about the profit rather than learning on investing long term, they should have knowledge on the fundamentals and proper risk management should always be monitored here.

Kids these days are just driven by hypes especially flexing on social medias but I'd say there are kids out there that differs but I found it too scarce. It's not bad to keep them involved especially on investing since it's nice to have them know it financially, it's really best for child to keep them engaged, they'll learn over time.
991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you Bet on a Fight that is Scripted? on: March 09, 2023, 06:29:10 PM
I don't know if bookies will allow it on the first place. The leakage is something to check about considering not only one knows the outcome in the first place, there could be some leakage and that's expected. There are lot of options to bet on, I would rather choose to bet on boxing rather than in WWE.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A remark on casino bonuses on: March 09, 2023, 03:36:03 PM
Enticing promo banners but tncs that make these promos largely useless and these tncs aren't obvious from looking at banners. Upon click they redirect you to login/registration page whereas I feel click on to banner should redirect user to that particular promo's tnc.
This has been exercising for years and not just on casinos. The thing with this case on casinos are likely for the whales if they post an enticing banner and not for the shrimps. It's all a clickbait but if you know how this works then just don't proceed, you know it will just be lost in the first place considering most of it are impossible to withdraw, the wagering term is outrageous.
993  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maybe it's time for BTC to take off and reach the $100K on: March 09, 2023, 02:17:27 PM
All this wait, same price for months, sounds like the calm before the storm. Maybe it's time for BTC to take off and reach the $100K. Just saying. This price is a joke for BTC's potential. Of course all we can do is hope. But it makes me wonder why it's not happening yet. Right now BTC is cheap as peanuts. Luckily 1 BTC = 1 BTC.
Of course, this isn't an easy path. Bitcoin will surely have to take those FUDs first and for institutions to buy from retail investors from panic selling. The thing is that people are hesitating when it's cheap but when it's almost at its peak they are just starting. I think the last leg will be at $19k for capitulation then wait for the next years to come maybe 2024 and 2025.
994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports arbitrage on: March 09, 2023, 11:57:31 AM
Sports arbitrage is basically when you make profit from matches regardless of the outcome of those matches just by taking advantage of odd difference between book makers. Odd difference on the other hand occur as a result of error in setting the odds by the bookmakers.
I haven't tried this, but is this profitable or legal? It seems to be difficult and time-consuming where you can find this error considering there are a lot of bookies out there. Could be possible if you have a team with different account, could this be possible by web scraping?
995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free sports betting tip on: March 09, 2023, 06:55:49 AM
I have 10 years experience in sports betting and i will be posting daily free sports tips

I will post parlays for football and basketball ' NBA '

My goal is to build community .

We will start today and i will be preparing two parlays .

Looking forward on your free tips especially for the NBA bets since I am betting on bookies in basketball. Daily seems to be a good thing for you but for me I am betting about twice or thrice a week considering making it daily is exhausting for me. If you want to build community, I think twitter, telegram, and discord is a nice platform.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling using chip in money? on: March 08, 2023, 04:36:34 PM
I’m still not experiencing it but sounds fun at the same time to share experience of winning and losing with your friend. Do you guys do it?
Never have I ever. Well, if my friend hand me that money and trust it on me to gamble then I wouldn't hesitate to do it and for sure I will respect the condition and met it but if it's not then call it quits. For me, I would never trust my money to a friend unless I feel he/she was really that lucky for that day but with risk management involve.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertisements: A big trigger to gambling addiction. on: March 08, 2023, 03:26:11 PM
I guess this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5419859.0 was the closest thing to ever discuss about advertisements and gambling addiction, though it's locked already. I think you need some filtration over these kind of ads if you really want to avoid it in the first place because if you did see something like this on your path to avoid addiction, it will truly trigger you.
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 08, 2023, 01:34:59 PM
I think I did with mintdice (can't remember clearly if it was that casino, it was having a dice sound) before since my signature payment was sent there, it wasn't through a typo error but I did click the max or the thing that close to it. The worst, it was the same as yours. I lost and turn out to not wanted to play for the day and the next day.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: where the losed money goes? on: March 07, 2023, 04:23:41 PM
my question is ,
when we play gambling online in casino , we always bust our account , many new comers completely blow their account every time they deposit ,
the gambling site owner's earn money by the commission which it takes 1% or less on every bet made by user , when blowing accounts where all money goes, in casino's pocket or where ,
and the question that the losed money will go to other player's pocket who wins big but the winning players are very less,
i think many are losing in gambling and the casino sites are hugely profiting from us ,
do you think that is the case .
If it's playing against the house it will goes to the casino but against another player it will go to them then although the house always has commission for every hands played. They will always be in profit unless some external anomaly occurs to them 'cause that's the thing that makes them file for bankruptcy. We could say, people who losses their money pays to those who wins, but the house will have a piece on it.
1000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OpenCEX, a Free Open-Source Crypto Exchange Engine on: March 07, 2023, 03:15:16 PM
I'm gonna compete with Binance and Coinbase with OpenCEX? This is huge and the design is very human, lol. Well, take this as a criticism but ideas like this will surely not thrive considering it takes a lot more than just creating it from scratch with you alone. Yes possibilities are endless but it's difficult to position yourself in this industry unless you really made some revolutionary feature and consider it decentralized, the CEX has a different distinction here lad.
