wisha yall had listened to me on BTG nice pump today , sold my 9 BTG for 400  a coin Smiley
1642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: rig to build with $20000? on: November 21, 2017, 07:18:10 AM
lets calculate guys .

vega 56 Can do (1850 h/s stable) , 30*1850  (55560 h/s)  mining XMR Monero.

could make $3,996.08/month  (at this moment) .
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/xmr?HashingPower=55560&HashingUnit=H%2Fs&PowerConsumption=0&CostPerkWh=0
power (5400 w)  .
-
in other hand
1070 ti (470 h/s) 30*470  (14100 h/s) - mining ZEC .
  $2,268.53/month
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/zec?HashingPower=14100&HashingUnit=H%2Fs&PowerConsumption=0&CostPerkWh=0
power (4090 w) .

vega 56 price $469.99
1070 ti price $469.99

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg6TEpKdnvk&t=81s

.

I see you have done your homework unlike many here, i would go. half vega have 1070
non ti, the non ti cards are around $420

also you will find the 1070s are alot easier to setup and configure than vegas

plug and play basically, but when the vegas are setup they are basicaly stable much more so than rx cards because they dont need stupid mods to get good hash rates

your play is goos but i would go with a mix of cards
1643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: btg on bittrexx now on: November 21, 2017, 03:40:42 AM
I told yas to keep mining btg its on bittrexx now close to 300 probably gona hit 500

ah, one of those famous bitterex pump-and-dump on listing scenarios. Getting long in the tooth.
I don't know where it will peak ($300-500 sounds reasonable), but it will be back at $115-125 within a week or two, so good time to dump, perhaps.

they did the same with BCH , but now the BCH price is higher than the original bittrexx pump, its a good sign for any new coin

up to 500 here lol

my 9 mined coins worth a ton , I have sell orders at $800 tho

The mobo citronick has (9 pcie slot + compute card), there's a new, even longer mobo with 12 slots.

too expensive at 1500

damn that was fast
1646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why GTX 1060? on: November 21, 2017, 01:53:56 AM
Its because people are cheap. Same reason why people are trying to mine on 1050s. They want to be miners but arent willing to invest the money to build a profitable setup.
1060s are profitable, especially all things considered, like how they're pretty good at ETH and Neoscrypt (compared to 1080/1080ti), and how they're 1.5x slower than 1070s in most algos while being two times cheaper. No wonder mining-specific cards are mostly 1060s. I don't personally buy any more 1060s, and go for higher-end cards, but can't say that 1060s are a bad choice.

1050s are crap though indeed. Cheesy

I'm leaning towards 1060s 6GB myself for new builds you can put them closer together on those new 8 and 9 card boards, no need for risers and you can get super dense with them

for example I can put 8-10 rigs of 1060s at 8 per rig in a rack where i can only put 6 rigs of 580s or vegas or even 1070s (non mini) due to thier size and heat
1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: November 21, 2017, 01:51:18 AM

some black friday sales on newegg

1649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD RX VEGAs are now out of stock on: November 20, 2017, 09:48:10 AM
So the reasonably priced newegg and amazon rx vega 56s are out of stock. All those remaining cost $580+++ (only the insane will buy).
Does anyone know where else to get these mining beasts?

Im not suprised they are very good cards for $400 they were a steal
1650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to mine Bitcoin Gold? on: November 20, 2017, 12:28:19 AM
Who all here is mining BTG?

I still have all my nvidia gpus pointed to it

until it gets less profitable than zcash ill stayon on it
1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH switch to PoS will kill GPU mining but everybody seems pretty relaxed on: November 19, 2017, 06:29:03 PM
There is always something profitable to mine. BTG is a good contender to ETH mining if it takes off.

Im stacking up on btg while the diff is still relatively low, when eth goes, and more hash power comes prices will go up
its simple supply and demand, supply will dry up so less dumping more value econ 101

what is the average profitiability of a btg rig compared to eth?

http://calc.btgpool.pro/

you cant really compare it to eth since rx cards are better for eth and bad for zcash, as u see on the calc they compare it to zcash since if you have a nvidia rig you would have been mining zcash or another equihash algo

rx cards are far more profitable on eth since they will mine zcash at 30 percent slower
1652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: gpu bubble well and truly bursting on: November 19, 2017, 06:24:23 PM
Hey just had to drag this up.

 my  rigs  are earning   $$$$

https://www.nicehash.com/miner/1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje

Monthly income

0.22953600 BTC
1789.92 USD

11,300 zols  about 17 x 240 = 4.1 kwatts or 100 kwatts per day  3000 per month at 13 cents =  390 power bill  and since it is winter  the heating bill drops 110

so 280  powercost  to earn  1790 a month  net =  1510

some  videos of asics and gpu rigs

very nice earning quite decently here as well 27k sols
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: November 19, 2017, 06:22:24 PM
How the hell is these high hashrates are possible?  More than 400 1080ti rigs worth of hr. Any idea?

not so hard if person was mining for few years to achive, there are still old amd cards from 2014 that are mining equihash and those cards just wont die ;DYou dont need to have 1080tis for it and there are old miners with large amount of amd cards
totally agree with you . my  280x`s and 7990`s keep on mining
its such a shame the older 280s and hawaii cards are such good quality and well made, the newer
rx seeries are total trash quality wise i have like 10 cards that need to be ramed, from exploding capcitors or broken fans.

The few vega cards I have seem back to the strong quality of builds solid ass cards with good backplates and nice wight

I think the 1070s and rx series are budged cards and the manurfacturing processes reflects that
1654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH switch to PoS will kill GPU mining but everybody seems pretty relaxed on: November 19, 2017, 02:32:22 PM
op is determined to overthink things, no one can predict the future of course
but if youre that risk averse you need some phanton analysis to know if you shouls gpu mine or not
maybe you should trade
1655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH switch to PoS will kill GPU mining but everybody seems pretty relaxed on: November 19, 2017, 10:00:03 AM
A 5 post idiot , idk who you think you are fooling with the FUD weve seen it back in 2013 dogecoin, etc
people thought gpu mining was over yet another false alarm keep posting FUD all you will earn is an ignore

Again theres nothing to see here if youre so confident wtf are you here posting anyway

I wont try and dumb it down any further btw The measure of hashrate TH in Eth and Etc does not correspond to the hashrate of other alts like monero, zcash , btg and countless others its apples to fucking oranges

al least get your facts right genius

Etc has leas hashpower pointed to it that zcash for example by a large margin
1656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: November 19, 2017, 09:48:15 AM

Na i bought most of my 1080tis for 650 or less when everyone was paying $400 for 580s and 1070s
I was in an expansion phase but thatbwas way back in may june, Ive not bought any new cards in bulk just a few vegas and some boards to play with, along with some asics to mess around with

issaa hobby

Nice hobby. I paid regular market prices for the GPUs as well before they became scarce and prices unreasonably high.

yeah i refuse to overpay for hardware its dumb

6gb 1060s at $250 ish seem the best bang for the buck right now ill try a rig of zotacs maybe
1657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: November 19, 2017, 09:43:19 AM
Most profitable right now is bitcoinz, problem is that there is no liquidity in the market so you are unable to sell those 12,500 coins mined every 2.5 mins. LOL
btg is the best by far, 27mhs of 1080s im making 1.05 btg a day around 160 usd

How many 1080s make you 1 btg per day?

4 rigs of 6overclocked 1080tis doing 735 per card

one rig is half built so 30 cards in all.

Going forward though im only buying 1060s 6gb cards Ive had 3 1080tisgo bad

one zotac just died another one had its fan snap no ide how the fuck that happend and another evga was doa
for $700 cards the quality on them is trash

Mate you are industrialized Smiley  I just have two rigs:  3x1080Ti and 6 x AMD RX

yeah these scared lemmings make me laugh, crypo and altcoins are still in infant stages, you remove eth and btc and we have only around 60 billion in market cap or less, thats pocket change, tons of coins are due for huge pumps in the next few years even if eth fails

Wow, people just keep posting irrelevant replies. Big market cap and bright future for altcoins, thats wonderful. But will it ease your pain when ETH miners migrate their HUGE hashpower to your precious infant coins and their difficulty goes up tenfold? The price increase will take years to compensate such difficulty hike. And until then you can use your rigs as cupholders.

Yours Sincirely,
Scared Lemming

be scared then an quit , gpu mining is going NOWHERE in fact its making an even bigger com3back next year
its harder to centralize than bitcoin , x11 and scrypt so it will only get bigger as new projects are developed when eth goes away.

my rigs are 100 percent paid off from the early eth pump and even new rigs pay for themselvs in six months , heck a year even im fine with, name any other investment that can fully capitalize itself so fast and still be only a year into a 4 year shelf life.

L3 D3 and S9s with be space heaters in four years while gpus will keep on keeping on
