I rebooted it serveral times and also cycled the power , any other tips/tricks ?
try different SD an reflesh it.

1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.2 (Windows/Linux) on: March 03, 2018, 10:24:30 AM
hmm this new version 11.2 seems to submit shares much faster , probbaly why the stales are going down

nice job claymore, btw I have written a new tool that can update multiple rigs at once via text file list of IPs, also change other settings in the
the config.txt and remotely reboot rigs etc , this would be a good peice to add to the ethmon but its wondows only though since it uses WMI

its also good for bulk updating rigs, it can copy all the claymore files from any local machine it runs on to networked windows machines using the 'upgrade existing version'
checkbox.  You can also specify it to not overwite certain flags in you config.text.

- it also will create a startup shorcut automatically as well.

-still a few bugs to be worked out and the status bar does not work atm but it runs pretty fast through my 30 rigs.

pm if interested in purchasing a copy or if you want to merge into ethmon claymore we can discuss

Not that I know of. But us small miners need to get on it first to make some coin.

when does mining start

1146  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: February 28, 2018, 08:57:16 PM
Even if bitmain has something new coming, it's not going to affect ROI as much as difficulty increases. With all the new miners coming online in March and later this year, difficulty is going to the moon while BTC price is stagnating. I already see it in my mining. Anyone buying S9s now at $2320 may never break even anymore. Especially if difficulty doubles every 3 months like it did the last 3 months.

I hear you. But I guess a lot of that depends on the electricity cost too. Also posts like yours make me hesitant to buy more s9s, but at the same time people have been saying not to mine for a long time, but the people who have been doing it over the last 5 years have made an absolute killing.

s9 price is unrealistic is what hes saying, I bought six s9 for 1400 each or so in october, delivered in nov
2000 per s9 is a joke , the A3 is a better deal at 900 , ill buy a bunch of those
1147  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: February 27, 2018, 08:27:08 AM
A3s are making $40 a day , temped to buy four more with these 200 coupons, also have 8 $125 coupons
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is GPU Mining Still Profitable? Should YOU Build a Mining Rig? GPU Mining Dead? on: February 27, 2018, 08:21:27 AM
Yes, it is alive, if build your rig with gtx 1070ti ( which is very balanced with it features, imho) you can get about 3-4 $ per card depend on the coin and difficulity..
So I guess the current ROI time is about 6 month which is rather ok...

Not true. Half that amount according to whattomine. Below $1.83 after electric or $2.26 before electric cost for zcash. Plus irs taxes it as income right away and also later if you cash out further gains later. It's about $1 a day per gpu. Not worth baby sitting your rig . Mining is for losers. Best to buy coins especially now while prices are depressed

I mine and what a dumb mistake, I can't even go on vacation. Only good thing is that gpu went up in value. So far that's where the real money is at.
lol youre right about the vacation think lol
I mean u can go but only if you have a tool like srr

Quote
If you are making the same amount with 2 L3+ then you would be lowering your profits since you would be using nearly 2000 watts compared to the 700 watts max(using X11)

True, I've thought about that as well. I was just comparing to the current price of the L3+ and the current price of Litecoin. Was just thinking for roughly $3,000, get (2) L3+ and make the same per month, but heck, I could get 4 or 5 L3+ for the current price of the Baikal X10. Yes, the power consumption would go up, but I would imagine my overall profit would go up. Just to see, I started making a listing on eBay, but I saw that the fee was 10%. If I sold it for $8,500, that's already $850 plus PayPal fee, plus shipping cost (if free shipping). The low power rating and low heat is a very nice feature. I'm in south Texas so electricity is fairly cheap, but the heat will soon be really hot. Just all the things I'm taking into consideration. When I bought the Baikal X10 I was drawn into the idea of making ROI in 100 days, because current price of Quark was $80 per day. Yes, I was like a lot of people, thinking I would make a lot of money, being new to the mining business. I still enjoy it and I have learned a lot, but I'm just hoping I don't ROI in 400 days. Thanks.

yeah these units are too efficent to sell, thankfully i paid 1400 for each of mine , I should have bought 10 at that price lol

Depending on c=COIN

If you set c=LTC you have to enter your Litecoin address as username. Just the plain adress.

ok thanks i'll switch my 2 x10 today and benchmark vs mininghub,

does star pool have verge groestl ?

thats the main issue with miningpoolhub

has anyonr posted good settings for an x10 for a starpool.biz or did i miss
that already? the multipool page does not even list myr grost

Here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2170308.msg30284163#msg30284163

Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Code:
You have to create a line (entry for a pool) for each Algo.

Like this:

stratum+tcp://skein.starpool.biz:4933
stratum+tcp://myr-gr.starpool.biz:5433
stratum+tcp://qubit.starpool.biz:4733
stratum+tcp://quark.starpool.biz:4033

Password for all lines:

c=YOUR_PAYOUT_COIN,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1,skein=0.5

Payout in Litecoin (lower transaction fees) would be:

c=LTC,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1,skein=0.5

if you want to include power consumption also, change the numbers a bit to prefer myr-gr and skein.

c=LTC,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1.1,skein=0.6

so to complete these instructions put in the U account settings as a litecoin address ?

Have you tried "xvg2.coinfoundry.org:"
I've been with this pool for the past 4 days, and so far its been up the whole time, it never went to my
secondary pool once.   I'm getting way more shares then when i was at zpool,  but it could be that we are
in a lucky run.
Ill try NL in a few days if it stays stable one last shot

on nlpool no block for 10 hours with 3+THs Sad so no reward, something wrong there.

yup

1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 9x RX 570 4GB using 170-195W each at the wall. Normal? on: February 25, 2018, 07:06:55 AM
I have 9 cards, and I can’t seem to get hash rates and power consumption that is being thrown around here. HIVE OS says:
5x XFX and 4x MSI using ~100W each.

But my Kill-a-watt says using Corsair CX850M Bronze:
XFX 173 at the wall (875mV, 1095/2000) 28.3 MH/s & 283 MH/s Pascal
MSI 192 at the wall (900mV, 1100/1875) 26.8 MH/s & 268 MH/s Pascal

The description in HIVE OS is to not trust it too much since its from the driver however these numbers are more inline with numbers I’ve seen here.

My test method is very simple and straight forward: hook up only the riser and PCI to the power supply that is on the Kill-a-watt. Even at a conservative 82% efficiency, that is 142W and 157W and my bios setting is at 120W max power limit. What’s going on? Is this normal?
check the actual voltage using msi after burner, I suspect your actuaal voltages are way higher than 875

I know, I had a bad time in both too. But things needs to happen to get improvements.

Things are stable, till now ofc. . 8 blocks mined and 0 orphans.

With my hashrate wtm says i should get 22 xvg per day. I alredy have 24 XVG and hasn't passed a day.

I'll wait a few days, luckily i wrote a program that auto updates all my 40 rigs at once and reboots them with new pools or dual pools
windows only, debating on selling it on this forum or keeping it to my self lol.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BLAKE 2s Mining related topics on: February 24, 2018, 08:32:14 PM
Do not blindly trust Whattomine too much. Sometimes it gives wierd results.

Very rough theoretical profit can be calculated as: blocks per day * price per block / net hash * your hash.
for example, yesterday for PASC Whattomine showed about 1.2PASC (1.8$) profit per day (for 2150MH).
Calculations (from Whattomine numbers) gave about 0.8PASC (1.2$), and real testing on Nanopool also.
So Whattomine was lying. Now they are correct (for PASC). So where they are lying today?)

More real result can be archived by calculations from pool stats.
for example, Antmining shows that it mined 177 blocks for last 24H. Its hashrate is about 95.5TH.
each block gives 1560XVG. so with 26GH I will get about 75XVG per 24H. (177*1560/95500*26)
And really I got it. Even little bit more. So they do not steal anything. (Unimining does - about 50% or more)
But with XVG there is another issue. Whattomine show its NETHASH as 163.95 Th/s,
but Unimining + Antmine is already 139+96 = 235 TH - 40% more!!!! and there are other pools and solo miners.
So Whattotime lying again. And that's why you do not get profit as it shows....

Zpool is defintalty stealing.

I made 1300 XCG yesteday with 380ghs

according to normal calculators i should have made around 1500-1700

that 400 xvg diff is quite large , but at least they are stable.

Ok testing with vega 56.  It really seems to be a power limit problem.  With no real tweaking, just power limit on a stock 56 GPU, I get.
190w -19pl, 1300
235w 0pl, 1450
So, yes PL + 50 will get you good speed...but at an ridiculous power usage.  This is stock 56 though, not soft modded.

Agreed, my watercooled Vega64 at stock clocks takes 500W to show 2200KH/s, it's crazy. Though it takes similar power in dual mining too.

vega has to be softmodded with power play table mod to reduce power or itsa hog
