How much Baikal Giant X10 right in their official web guys ?
7000 USD

But also remember they take forever to ship. I'd check ebay for a cheap used one if you can. Thats where I got mine from

Thanks mates, I thought its under $3k for preorder Cry
I bought three sets at $3K per unit price

I bought 1200 Usd from the first batch Smiley
$1400 seccond batch got two with shipping not paying more than 2k for another unit
biakal is cooked &7000 😂😂😂😂
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Years! Seventh alt coin thread! on: February 24, 2018, 07:12:46 PM

Quite a bit earned via mining, lots earned via pool fees, and likely a couple hundred thousand or more of miners sold at probably $500-$1000 average profit EACH.

Though I have to wonder if that "up to 4 billion" figure wasn't more of a gross sales/gross income figure.

for a good perspective disney who makes all the marvel movies and a ton of kid animation flicks too
makes around 5billion a year too

i feel i am late to the party because the last time i saw this thread was when claymore posted about the new version but i was inactive then..

can some kind person bring me upto speed please? so which coins are you guys mining with the new algo for dual.

For the blakes2 and keccak i see only few coins. are any of those profitable or like the posts i am reading just above about xvg.. which is like multiple algo thing better?

Thankyou

Imo best option is ethash + blake2s. My rx470 gives something like 28Mh/s + 1300Mh/s and other cool stuff is reduced fee.

Sounds like I need to tweak my Blake2s settings... seeing about half that on RX570 (no BIOS mode, though). Can you share what settings you have for the Blake2s side ?

Cranked my DCRI up to 70... now getting ~1500 MH/S on B2S with no impact on ETH mining. Awesome.

Also... saw some people struggling with XVG pools...

You do lose some to exchange fees but you can set your Dual mining pool to ZPOOL and get paid out in XVG for your Blake2S work... an example of using NiceHash for ETH and ZPOOL to get paid in XVG is like so:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -esm 3 -allpools 1 -epool daggerhashimoto.usa.nicehash.com:3353 -ewal *BitcoinWallet*.Worker55 -epsw x -cclock 1200 -mclock 1900 -tt 72 -fanmin 70 -powlim -10 -dpool blake2s.mine.zpool.ca:5766 -dcoin blake2s -dwal *XVGWallet* -dpsw Worker55,c=XVG -dcri 70

I basically do this except I simply choose BTC from ZPOOL.

ZPOOL only pays in btc, no where does it say you can be paid in XVG

I personally mined a few hundred thousand XVG there... so yes you totally can:

https://zpool.ca/

I would suggest reading the instructions on the first page. You MUST use the "c=XVG" tag to be paid in XVG & also use a valid XVG wallet address.

Zpool is stealing verge profits as well , like all the other pools

NM I see the setting for getting paid in another coin, whats the point though you lose fees both ways from the inital sale to btc then the buy back on verge to pay you back

I dont think claymore is set up for blake2 solo mining, it works with cc miner but not with claymore

pools are shit claymore some have not paid in days , need to be able to solo mine blake or dual mining is over for me again

I think the isue is with the dwal and dpass settings

I have been XVG mining with AntMinePool for the last couple of weeks. Indeed the rewards are less than they should (I haven't calculated how much).

With 8x RX580 (~11.5GH/s) one can solve an XVG block in about a month (with current difficulty).

Why do we even bother with pools? Even it this doen't pay out, we are talking about 30kwh of extra power cost per month.

I am seriously thinking of trying it out. Does anyone have a valid argument why shouldn't I?
no one has posted any good solo mine setting
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BLAKE 2s Mining related topics on: February 21, 2018, 06:58:05 AM
As of right now is not worth mining verge anymore, profits decreased drastically, when it started as per whattomine with 1 x gtx 1070 used to earn around $0.70, now is around $0.20 and the pools steal 50% of your profit, so in truth you are earning $0.10 per card.

https://whattomine.com/coins/220-xvg-blake-2s?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=1200.0&p=35.0&fee=1.0&cost=0.2&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate
profits are down for every coin , crypto is down 15% across the board , duh

yeah i stopped buying cards, i still have 15 cards to rma anyways, focusing ont that

btw i rmamed 15 gigabyte winfirce cards 470s with no issues even when i told them i ised them for mining

smartcash might be more profitable now but, verge is ready for a massive pump, so people are loading up

if you by miracle connect to antminer and your system restarts then boom gameover hehe

user rpcpassword=pass rpcport=20102 port=21102 server=1 listen=1 daemon=1 algo=blake gen=1

-dpool  http://192.168.xxx.xxx:20102
 -dwal user
 -dpsw pass
 -dcoin blake2s
 -dcri 36

I'm trying to figure that out too, tonight i will see about it.
ok Ill check back tomorrow, i’ll try a few more things myself with a test rig

all these pools are trash the http://mine.nlpool.nl , been up and down all day , crashing my damn rigs with thier bull shit

umining are straight up thieves , somone like nanopool needs to start a legit pool

Probably rival pools are dns attacking nlpool. Best thing right now is solo mining until a good pool like nanopool adds xvg.

how to solo mine this ? can you mine to the wallet ?

checked the instructions at the github pool page
https://github.com/vergecurrency/VERGE

will this work for a conf like this :

rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass rpcport=20102 port=21102 server=1 listen=1 daemon=1 algo=blake gen=1

-dpool  http://192.168.xxx.xxx:20102

1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU fans started failing, had to improvise a little on: February 17, 2018, 07:09:07 PM
Hello All,

Just wanted to share my funny experience with these cards I purchased around a year ago.

The cards Im talking about are the Gigabyte RX 570 Gaming 4G: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-RX570GAMING-4GD#kf
They are pretty much the worst cards I got for mining, even though I bought them early on for 160$ each, and I got 30 of them.
At first they were great, amazing value for money and ROI, elpida memory, they do 29.5mh/850mh eth/dcr; and 900 h/s on cryptonight.

They worked great for 10 months, and then the fans started failing; these fans can not handle dust at all. They are very poor in cooling; and unless I set the fans at 80% or more, the gpu temps would easily reach 75C.

The funny thing is that half of my cards would have the rear fan failing, either completely stop working, or work at a much slower rpm; to the point that I had to only mine cryptonight due to the lower power requirement for the algorithm compare to dual mining.

So I got this idea..

A week ago, I purchased these fans: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Brand-Original-Delta-AUB0812VH-pwm-DC12V-0-41A-80mm-computer-cpu-case-axial-cooling-fan/32541022969.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.Fy7LDH
And these splitters: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/SATA-Port-to-10-Way-12V-3-4Pin-Computer-CPU-Cooling-Fan-Splitter-Hub-with-PWM/32842778420.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.Fy7LDH

Removed the shroud and fans from the gpu, and stuck the new delta fans I got on the heatsink (using some metal wires, and a bit of clamping).
and this is the result
https://image.ibb.co/hSBvY7/IMG_20180213_WA0006.jpg

Currently, out of all the cards I have; Nitro+ Limited Edition, XFX GTS Edition, Nitro+ 570 8GB, and Powercolor Red Dragon golden sample; these cheap elpida cards are my favorite xD

Temps on the gpu are at around 39C under the same conditions, and they consume less power (compared to the original fans, 12v @0.5A, the new ones are 12v @0.41A).

So I lose the warranty, but I've already recovered their cost and much more, and they still run perfectly, so I am very happy Cheesy

Now im thinking to do the same for all my other cards, and probably turn one of the AC units I got off to save on electricity
so the cards work even with the fans not connected to the 4 pin connectors on the gpu?
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the difference between these RX 580's ? on: February 16, 2018, 02:45:46 AM
nitro are the best mining 580s is why so high demad

great cooling, dual bios , usualy micro or high end hynix or samsung
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GPUs miners beware! on: February 14, 2018, 06:48:06 PM
What evidence do you have that there are a ton of idiots willing to pay $1000 for a 580?

Evidence? Are you for real? You must be kidding right? trolls are using igpu to mine and you say they are not? They are desperate, they are insane, they are mindless and if you sum up they would even pay $9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 for a rx 580, know why? cause they are sick.

one article regarding nvidia crypto mentioned about why nvidia and amd can not supply enough GPUs to market during this white hot demand is because of the manufacturing company TMSC is in full throttle and no f* way to meet the demand.

How can you stop idiots from throwing $1000 for rx 580 for 30mhs? Build asics with a partner and earn more money for less from those idiots.

maybe in the EU and other countries , in the USA 580s and 570s are around 500 to $700 for good quality ones, hes not too far off
