1921  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Swape.io ⭐ The No-KYC Crypto Exchange / Mixer 🚀 on: September 12, 2022, 11:38:47 PM
I don't seem to find your terms of service which is one of them most important aspects of run a service. Given that you are using opther exchanges to carry out exchanges and "mixing"
Where do you stand from the legal point of view?

What if Binance flags a suspicious transaction let's say from a hacked account, freezes the funds and then asks you to re-verify and prove the source of the funds, what do you do?
1922  Economy / Reputation / Re: Genocide worked? on: September 12, 2022, 11:02:23 PM
Seems like my only trade feedback on this account came from a dead man.
But it has nothing to do with trade though

Anyway, there's no need calling out on a dead man, he's already dead. It isn't like he will see your reputation post from the grave and then reply  Smiley
1923  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to delist USDC, USDP, TUSD from the platfom on 26th September on: September 12, 2022, 10:41:11 PM
Sounds like forced compliance or else face the wrath of big brother.  Appears Binance wants favor from the government, guess they have seen what happened to XRP, AMP, etc
It has nothing to do with compliance lol. it's more of a way to try and remove direct competition from their exchange in favor of their stablecoin

Ridiculous, seems all stable coins pair will be removed expect BUSD & USDT. Since they are going to remove all stable coins, so I believe they will remove USDT as well near future to force Binance users to use BUSD. It's direct manipulation, to be honest.
That's what I was thinking too. in the near future, they will come up with an excuse to delist USDT. Already their are signs when you use their platform. the spot and Futures trading pairs for USDT are hidden while those for BUSD are readily available. You have to look hard to get the USDT  trading pairs.

So many scams on Upwork...
This is a warning to my fellow freelance webdevs.

Here is my story. I recently entered into the web dev game, I am trying to find my first freelance job (with no success so far).

Yesterday, I saw a post about someone needing a website and I applied. The client messaged me on Upwork, we talked a bit then wanted to move the convo to Telegram (first red flag). I was desperate so I said okay.

We talk, he wants me to create a website for a local restaurant (a real place). I said to myself, okay good this seems to be legit.

I say that I want to be paid through Upwork, I'll even lower the price if they want to avoid paying Upwork's cut, so they'd essentially be paying the same amount although I'd be getting less. Reviews are more important than money I said to myself.

He says he wants to pay with crypto (second red flag). I asked how would he guarantee that I'd be paid, and he said he'd be paying me up front once he sees that I actually work on his project. So I write the html, do some minor styling and send him a screenshot as proof. He says it looks great (wtf it is just html?) and that he'll be sending me my BTC. I give him my wallet address but no, he wants me sign up to a particular platform because there is a limit on sending btc to outside the platform on this particular exchange and he had already reached it this month (third red flag).

FINE. I sign up to the website and send him my email so that he can wire me the BTC. He sends me fucking 0.15 BTC (3500 dollars) for a one page static website. Being the good, honest boy my mom raised me I say that that is too much and I'll do it for 500 (even that is high I know, I got a little greedy). He won't respond to my texts at this point. Anyways, I try to withdraw BTC from the exchange (just 500 dollars) to confirm that this is not a scam. And this is the point where I realized it was, indeed, a scam.

Whenever I try to withdraw, the exchange displays a pop up says that withdraw failed because blah blah blah. I try a couple more times to be sure, and it won't work. So I dig in to the source code of the webpage. And there it is:

Code:
    success: function(response) {
   var user_balance = parseFloat(response);
   if(address == "" || address.length < 10) {
    noti("Please enter a valid wallet address", "error"); } else if(amount == "") {
    noti("Please enter the amount to withdraw", "error"); } else if(amount > user_balance) {
noti("You don't have enough balance to withdraw", "error"); } else {
$.ajax({
url: "../ajax/ajax", type: "POST", data: {
action: "WITHDRAW", amount: amount, crypto: crypto, address: address
success: function(response) {
var json = JSON.parse(response); $("#withdraw_error").css("display", "flex"); $("#withdraw_error_text").html(json['withdraw_error']);
This goddamn exchange has a set function that displays an error whenever you try to withdraw from it. I have been texting this 'client' for the last hour, no response (obviously).

I asked him to walk me through the scam but he won't reply. What was even the point of doing this? Is he a web dev that got a job from this local business and is he trying to get the work done by someone else for free?

Anyways ladies and gentlemen, this is how I lost hours of my time to an Upwork scam. Still haven't gotten my first freelance job.

Be careful out there.

Cheers

1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PoW coins apart from Ethereum aren't that bad on: September 11, 2022, 11:49:28 PM
Fam, are you looking 👀 at ravencoin performance this days? It feels good to see another poW coin performing this well in a bear market, it's same with ergo too but ravencoin just surge much more, 0.02$ to 0.05$ this is great. Wink  Wink  Wink
Maybe it might be better we wait after the ETH merge before we make conclusions  Wink
To me the pumps are more like an anticipation to the merge event since ETH has also been pumping lately.

Security tokenization is the usecase. Security tokenization is a multi-trillion dollar industry.

Ravencoin is the only platform that does this on the base layer without smart contracts and with compliance built-in.
It maybe a multi-trillion dollar industry but if the adoption to the network is slow then it will just be one of those coins created with brilliant ideas but ignored by most projects and people. I still think it's one of those coins that can make an easy x10 in a bull market.

Hey, do you still need the loan?

In case you do please send me a PM or mention me so that I can get a notification and fulfill the request. We shall use the price at the time you send the BCH.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: WTB MONERO on: September 11, 2022, 11:28:47 PM
I did trade total around 180 USD.
Still not worth the risk. Avoid Changenow as it's one of those controversial services that has complaints when it comes to freezing funds.
Use exchanges that are listed on Kycnot.me like Bisq, Elude, Majestic Bank etc
1928  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bustabit com Prediction Bot [BTC Gambling] on: September 10, 2022, 11:19:50 PM
If the so-called bot that accurate in making the predictions. I doubt if you would even be here wasting time trying to sell it off for those small amounts which you could easily make in seconds when using your perfect bot.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all 100x hunters out there on: September 10, 2022, 10:51:46 PM
Not a financial advice to anyone because things could go wrong, in a world where volatile is guaranteed you can't just keep telling people what will happen, anything is possible in this space so telling people that advices shouldn't be considered as a financial advice means they should do their own research before making any decision.
If one is uncertain about how the coin going to perform because of the guaranteed volatility, then why bother telling people about the next coins to go 100x at all?
I believe someone should only come out and spill the "Financial advice" only when they are confident that a certain asset is going perform well?

The "Not FA" tagline is a bit hypocritical after just suggesting to everyone that a certain coin is going to go x100. it simply means that one is not even sure of what they are talking about.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How Profitable Are Altcoin-Based Signature Campaigns? on: September 09, 2022, 11:58:55 PM
The time when they were so profitable was 2017 and early 2018 during the ICO hype... Right now there are barely any that can guarantee you to get something meaningful out of them. i think the only one I know since I participated in it was Gold Token but I don't think they are accepting new people anymore but It has been around for about 3 years and their token is readily tradable unlike most altcoin bounties that promise you only air or send you zero value tokens
1931  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet - Asked for verification and blocked account. on: September 09, 2022, 11:49:25 PM
Still no update, guys. Sent them one more document for verification. One month anniversary is coming...
Is it one month from the time the issue began or one month after you last sent them documentation for verification?

Their support account in the forum was very helpful when they were still active around here but it has been inactive for a number of months now. I doubt if it will change anything sending a PM to it.
1932  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Street Selfie? Why all these crazy requirements in the name of KYC verification? on: September 09, 2022, 11:32:43 PM
Asking for selfie is acceptable or if they want serious verification if they found something is not good then just ask for the video call verification which is more convenient and credible than holding a selfie and writing something on the paper because in the todays technology any kind of editing is possible just from the simple android apps.
Perhaps it's away of keeping the customer's money hostage since what they ask for is close to impossible. Imagine if the customer is from one of those 3rd world countries where residential places have no marked buildings or even well demarcated streets. What does the customer do then in order to pass the KYC requirements?

Not even the banks I have used before ask for this kind of verification  Grin
1933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi, the common on: September 06, 2022, 11:59:08 PM
if he cared about his privacy and anonymity as many know then why would he come out later on to claim that he is the master mind behind the bitcoin network?

What was the point of privacy in the first place then?

All those folks coming out claiming that they are satoshi are not satoshi, period!
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all 100x hunters out there on: September 06, 2022, 11:46:52 PM
not a financial advice.
"Not financial advice" but then goes ahead and gives Financial advice.

Why is every expert crypto analyst or crypto millionaire like this? What's the end game?

obviously you can't expect ETH or BNB to go x100 in a short time again. This is common knowledge.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A bull named BOND must be caught now - before he runs on: September 06, 2022, 11:03:11 PM
Who is going to believe you when you trust feedback says that you are someone malicious and a scammer. Perhaps you are shilling a token just for personal gains and not actual future prediction based on your past dishonesty

1936  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ATA LIRA ($ATALIRA) on BSC DEX & Gaming & NFTs FAKE TEAM / STOCK PHOTO on: September 06, 2022, 10:47:45 PM
It seems that they've altered those things [archived] after seeing this thread, but that wasn't the only "fake" thing when they made an announcement here [based on "your archived link", it shows they didn't even bother to change most of the content from the following "WordPress theme (archived)"]!
Doesn't this call for a red trust and a flag on their profile or I am being too trigger happy when it comes to red-trust since the advertising profile has not been tagged yet?
1937  Economy / Services / Re: We are looking for a miner 2012-2013 year. Reward $10.000 on: September 06, 2022, 09:58:17 PM
We found an old HDD that had a BTC wallet with a password.
Who finds miner get $10.000 reward. Miner reward $100.000
Ooh yeah. your trust ratings say something else

What really shows that you are so stupid is the fact that you still think members here will fall your your scam tricks, Nice try.
1938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Become A Profitable Trader with stop loss and trailing stop loss on: September 06, 2022, 08:27:34 PM
1) You are using the wrong exchange. Most likely you are using an exchange not meant for active trading but instead long term investing. Some of these exchanges like Gemini charge like 1-2% per trade. So automatically you use 2-4%.
That's so huge mate, unless if you are referring to crypto to fiat trades. Any exchange charging that high for crypto to crypto pairs would be out of business in very few years.

According to this, they charge 0.40% for taker and 0.20% for marker for a low tier account. Still so high IMO  Grin

2) You are way over trading. If you are using an exchange like Binanace and can't make a profit this way. You are taking way too many trades and closing them too early. Overtrading is not good for trading.
What's a scalper supposed to do?

Good news OP, bybit also now has a zero fees spot trading for some trading pairs until further notice. take advantage - https://www.bybit.com/en-us/promo/global/zero-fees-spot
1939  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to delist USDC, USDP, TUSD from the platfom on 26th September on: September 06, 2022, 08:07:13 PM
USDC rise is quite recent, USDT has also shrink quite a bit the last few months ($83b -> $67b). But even with an rate of 1:1.3 in their supply, USDT still has 3x the volume of BUSD on Binance (BTC pairs): https://coinranking.com/market
yes this maybe the current stat but it will change when they delist all other stablecoin pairs and have only either USDT or BUSD tading pairs for stablecoins. They are already "censoring" USDT trading pairs in the top gains or top losers list even when you check right now which is pretty annoying.
it's quite clearly they are pushing hard for their shitcoins (BUSD and BNB)

1940  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: AnonWallet.Net - Low-Cost Anonymous Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway on: September 05, 2022, 11:59:05 PM
The withdrawal operation has no minimum, you can withdraw 0.00000001 paying only the blockchain fees.
The withdrawal operation is automatic.
Isn't the minimum amount allowed for a transaction to be made across the Bitcoin network not more than 0.00000001 BTC. I don't remember the figure but it's way more than 1 sats. Something like 560 sats. Let me look it up

Edit, the dust limit is 546 sats
