It is about time to post another "amazing" "Legendary" newbie with "big" contribution to the forum. They've been around for quite some time, earned over 1200 activity with their 4540 posts, but unfortunately only 0 Merit since June 22 of 2018, otherwise they could be a 100% Legendary in only 2 more activity rounds but instead they stuck on "newbie" for almost 4 years. Hope the guy won't get me wrong, I don't mean he is a bad guy in any way... it's just statistics. So Here I present to you. Daniel Khan
Here comes another "Legendary" guy, with 1442 Activity but less posts, "only" 4041, still active today. akhmadfirmansyahcibi

The HDD failed with the full disk encryption, so it is lost as a file.
1. What do you mean by failed? Bad sector, error when it's mounted, fall from high height? 2. If you remember the password or has encryption key, usually it's possible to recover your file. Although usually it require paid software or some technical knowledge. I asked the same question above, if he manage to recover the drive, no need to worry about btcrecover.

~ I had it for years on my computer. But the computer crashed and I am now unable to remember what the string entry was.
What's wrong with the computer? Most of the time it's easier to fix the computer and extract the data instead of going trough all the btcrecover thing and waist time and resources. OK, now I saw this in the previous message. The HDD failed with the full disk encryption, so it is lost as a file. Give us a bit more info about it? How it failed, noise, *bang* with smoke, not detected into the system. What type of drive you have hdd, 2.5" or 3.5" (SSD?), model.

@Cyrus, I think you should advertise the channel a bit more. I mentioned to hodlonaut about the Citadel21 hidden ad but no return yet (at least not that I heard of), I should have probably mentioned it to Katoshi too (probably will do it later as well), but if you guys are making hidden ads like that you could just contact the owners and see if they can spread the word. I think you probably want to grow the channel the natural way, but just think about it BTW finished with the first sub, will try to the second file until the end of the week, during my lunch breaks

Interesting, that also bring up the question how those posts with homographs are handled, because theymos did some changes, and they are displayed without the homographs in the threads, but you are still able to search based on homographs an they came up in the results as homographs. I don't think ppl still do that as there's no point anymore, I'll check later and come with input.
I'm not sure what you mean, since homographs are just normal words (unless there's other meaning I don't know). And (English) words are treated as words. On the other hand, basically any proper web crawler engine will ignore (treat as space) all kinds punctuation to avoid problems. (Also usually treats multiple spaces as one, but that doesn't matter much here). I guessed that this one may do the same, made a test, it worked out, hence that post of mine. Back in the day were may homograph attacks. Ppl would just change one or few vocal letter from Latin to Cyrillic or other and then it was impossible to check for plagiarism. After me burbling for months, theymos fixed it. I think if you still try to search for cyrillic "a" outside of the local section and archive you still will find some hits.

Something broke when searching for some phrases (not all). For example, when searching for this phrase, it gives "No results...", although there is such a post. And in the database of the site Ninjastic.space, it is also there. Or maybe there is no result because the post was edited? I think that the only thing TryNinja has to can "fix" is to strip out all punctuation marks from the query string, normal and odd ones too. I'm telling this because a search for Both workers and employers are making money with Bondex so why don t you take a part in this money earning machine by investing in it does return exactly the expected results. Of course, some more tests could be needed.

DuckDuckGo shows only our forum when searching for bitcointalk. Google shows me our forum on top and .com as a 6th result on the bottom of the page. Bing does the same as DuckDuckGo, no .com on the first page. Yahoo does the same as Bing.
Only Google shows this .com on the top page.

I'm soo late but anyway, Merry Christmas and happy new year and congrats on your first video, it's amazing! Love it!
I think, most of the @xtraelv thread could be a source of material for your future episodes. @Cyrus send me the transcript for subs, I'll try to make a translation, but I can't promise a deadline.

Hey guys, this one is kind of rant thread for KYC Beard discrimination. One of my friends ran into a problem while doing the KYC with Binance. On the driving license he has a short beard, almost nothing <he's lucky we met years after that photo was taken>, today it's like Dusty Hill .After many tires, he could not do the KYC and he refuses to shave (nor cut) his beard, I would punch him well in the face if he does it, tho. Better to change the driving license, if you ask me but... So is there any other brother going trough that Binance discrimination hell ? Peaceful solutions?
