Joke all you guys want, when these DACS come out they will set a new precedent for alt coins. I see a very bright future for these types of innovations.

If you invest in Angelshares or are holding Protoshares (bitshares-pts) in your wallet at the time of snapshot, you get all 3. AGS and PTS do not get used up when you claim your new DAC. They are good for all future DACs from that company.

How come tonight when I get out bid the site goes down for the exact amount of time that it takes for me to lose?? Happened three times tonight the last time I lost 700K coins because the site went down for 1:20.

The whitepaper says its based on coinjoin. From reading posts its not the best thing for anon. The anon is also based on trusted nodes. So its centralize and could potentially be controlled by anyone. They plan on making it wallet based and decentralized but those are just promises and we all know how far those go in crypto.
Want my suggestion? Look at cryptonote based coins. Those are built from the ground up to be anonymous. Albeit, not the best anon but good enough. IMO the only thing those coins are missing are gui wallets. Once that happens, mass adoption and then we'll see DRK dethroned and the king of anon. Thats my 2 satoshis.

I'm having the same problem, everything was fine yesterday with the new client. I have it syncing now, here is what I did. Windows 7 x64 sp1 -deleted everything except wallet.dat, created a new .conf file with the nodes posted a page back. Nodes here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=565623.msg7503679#msg7503679-the new version of NRS just closes on startup, no window opens. -reboot, try again same thing -started the old client once, got wallet window, closed before it connected to the network. -opened new wallet, this time it opened and its syncing now. I will report back when it completes its sync. Quoting myself  Okay so after a sync to block 50280 (verified correct chain by checking block explorer) with new wallet I replaced the new wallet.dat with my backup. here are the results: -Looks like its connected but stuck at block 47782. -Deleted backup wallet and allowed NRS to create a new wallet.dat, same stuck at block 47782. -Brought back the wallet.dat that was used to sync the new blockchain, same thing, stuck at 47782. Looks like we need a fix for the new wallet or something on the network is buggering it all up. |

This coin is very cheap compared to other similar ones in what it's offering, compared to blackcoins supply it should be 4 times worth the current price of blackcoin.

It seems to me that the main problem for PINK is that most/all of the coins have been mined, so the ability to create a large pool of miners/promoters is null and void. People dont like to promote that they can't mine.
Meanwhile, PINK is the most girlish color and 99% of crypto buyers are male. Pretty horrible branding concept.
A complete renaming of the coin is another thing that should be strongly considered.
If the ANON is truly awesome, then this should be marketed to everyone as you develop new features.
Since this coin basically has 350 million pre-mined coins, there should be a ton a bounties and giveaways being promoted by large coin holders. This is exactly how POS coins are building large followings.
PINK isn't going to grow unless these issues are tackled in a big way.
For disclosure, I recently bought 2 BTC of PINK. Id like to see this coin succeed. But, from a marketing perspective it seems like this coin has its head up its butt.

Since you guys are fixing up your wallet you may want to take a look at the features the Cinni dev added. Looks like he has some sort of application framework built into his wallet and some apps already. Pretty slick if you ask me. I don't know about that, look at CINNI as an example. The guy clearly has laid out plans and has a working framework in the client to support his plans. Yet people are so mindless they just go for the hype. They don't even care to test whether wallet "dialers" are working or if the anon is even implemented. I just don't get it.
Changed my mind, Its time to hype this coin or else its going to die off. We can't let that happen. We just need to attract more people here. Scam coins are getting all of the attention and I'm sick of it. |

Is the game good  It was a lot of fun at the beginning when only human players were playing. With the changes that were just made I hope that comes back. I Just wish block times were faster as each move is block by block. Its a little slow but other than that is quite brilliant. |
