What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017?

2017 is the year of bitcoin, that is proved by the current price of bitcoin which is almost 1500$, im very short period of time bitcoin price rose 300$ to 400$ which is very great achievement. Wish to see price above 2000$ soon.

Many of us guess it'll hit $2000. The dumps should be less frequent and smaller, too. TXs will grow (or network will be slower, whichever approach you like) and I hope to see the end of the scaling war.

It looks like bitcoin prices will rise above 2000USD. Currently only bitcoin prices have reached 1500USD.

The increase popularity and usage of Bitcoin is one factor behind the increase price of Bitcoin. As we know tha Japan and Russia have now recognized Bitcoin and so as they say that as the demand increases the price increases. As you said, reaching the $2000 mark is very possible to happen which will bring joy to every Bitcoin users especially those who have been holding their bitcoin in pocket and long been awaiting for the price to increase this high as what many have forecasted.

This is quite close to happen as governements are considering digital currency to be used publicaly with their supprt. This is a big step for them that will make up the history in making digital currency firstly used as official currencyin all countries around the world.

the price now is more than $15xx and now reach $157x and with increasing of the price, i think bitcoin will be increase more until reach new floor and down a little for correction. its situational moment when we can see the price is increase from $13xx-$14xx and finally reach $15xx and i am sure that many traders is happy with this and they are selling in this price but i hope the price will reach more high soon like above me said.

This is too fantastic a price for such a short time. I will leave some coins for the future, but I doubt very much that in 3 years I will be able to become very rich because of such a rapid price increase.

I don't think that price will touch to the moon in this year but we will see some really good price of bitcoins in this year as we already saw ath in this month and same we can expect in coming months too that it will keep on rising higher and higher.

I hope it is going to strike a record price by the end of this year and in the next year. Bitcoin is going to leave its mark. With the rapid adoption of the people there are chances that it can cross $2000 by late 2017. The world is going to recognize and accept it, with no other best option.

Im glad that you are saying that you only have hope for such a scenario to occur, but personally I dont really think that this might come true.

It is because we can already see that some of the goverments are rather against the bitcoin, and the part is not keen on cryptocurrencies.
However the most of them have not really decided yet. It would be a dream if thanks to the bitcoin price going up and also thanks to the Japan adopting the bitcoin, we would be able to see many different countries also implementing bitcoin as a regular payment option.

But still, for now we cannot expect something like that. I would say that it is not possible before 2030 or even later.

I made some research on the history of bitcoin and I discovered the story of the american guy who was one of the first trading with bitcoin, in 2010 he bought 2 pizza for 10000 BTC which are now 14 000 000 $
If it was me I will never eat pizza
Now in 3 months the BTC made +30% again
I decided to be part of this adventure and I bought 0.2 BTC
Who knows what will be their value in 5 years

I think Bitcoin will get stronger this 2017, now that Bitcoin had give way to smart contract apps, it will capture the market of ETH.  Aside from that due to the news of adoption, its price will increase exponentially.  AML and KYW might be strenthen to those exchange platform that recognize Bitcoin as currency but it will  give a positive effect to Bitcoin when it come to trust.

As of now i see that bitcoin is starting to change it has improve and also the price of it, it starting to increase. Maybe in the year of 2020 bitcoin will be so successful than the last year. We hope that bitcoin will be still so successful because it will be a big advantage to us if it improves even more.

Yeah it will be a great day when the price was able to reach at $2,000. And if that ever happens, our new expectations will increase.

For sure many of us here are going to expect more price increase, like $3,000 or even $10,000. But we need to reach that price first.

If that is going to happen before the Christmas day, then this is going to be one of the best Christmas day ever.

And it's normal that bitcoin's price is increasing before the year ends.
