meme of the day:
Presumably if you were a whale you could play this for real with the BTC market. I still have that game, got it for my 12th birthday. It's the only computer game I have ever owned.

Looks like Yobit has these so far:
SBTC B2X GOD ATOM
Could be worth a few Satoshis. If you have the energy.
Whats important is when you can deposit, not just trade. Yobit doesn't allow deposits in any of these coins. Currently: Bitcoin Diamond, sell on gate.io SuperBitcoin sell on okex.com You can download clients from github and import you priv. keys. Prices are slowly declining.. How do you claim them?

So United Bitcoin requires you to have sent a transaction in order to be credited with fork coins. Any address which has not sent coins is counted as “inactive”.
But of course most wallet software sending BTC simply splits the funds into two transactions - the sum being sent and a change transaction to a new address.
Which of course means that your sending address can’t be credited with UB coins because it’s now empty and your change address can’t be credited with coins because it’s “inactive” because it has never sent a transaction.
Which basically means Garzik keeps all the coins but gets to claim a market cap based on a Bitcoin airdrop. Garzik is so clever....
Don't worry, in Q1 both Bitcoin Atom and Bitcoin God will be available in your Coinomi wallet. And they are both giving 1:1. I don't bother with anything less, unless they for some reason should take of.

Gold and silver do appeal to survivalists/preppers. If the shit really hits the fan that might be the only usable currency. The risk of such an apocalyptic event is however in my opinion zero. Having said that, it's always fun to own some gold and silver coins and bullions, I mean, who here didn't dream of having safe like Scrooge Mcduck's when they were young.
I like building little stonehenges out of the 100oz Ag bars...good clean fun. That's a really cool idea! I will have a permanent such stonehenge when I move in to my coming safe house. Maybe I'll put it in my cabinet of curiosities. Might have to go down to 10oz bars to fit it in a cabinet. I always wanted a 1000oz Ag door stop. Huh. Maybe I'll just get me one, now that I think of it To make ROach proud of me. A cabinet of curiosities is not an actual cabinet, it's more like a room or rooms full of weird stuff, they later evolved into museums. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabinet_of_curiosities

You know how people here says "someone should make a meme for that" and two seconds later a meme appear. Someone tried something similar in the Bitcoin Atom thread. (It's basically only noobs there). Didn't go so well.
"We should make GIFs for this project. Anyone with ideas?
Which GIFs do you mean please?
creative GIFs with BCA logo could go viral and make good promo
Please feel free to come up with some ideas for GIFs, we will be glad if you could spread a word about BCA also this way. Thank you!
when will you use these GIFs?
Can be used for product promotion
And in the case of the BCA what is their finality?"
Ther's still no GIF's. LOL
I do like this one. The BCA thread has been notified.

Damn.
The ASK list of bitstamp keeps disappearing because everything is bought up and I have to refresh the site.
#firstworldproblems.
That and which color for your tesla you want to drive until the next $10k increase in price. decisions decisions . I have actually decided to not buy a Tesla after I saw a video where a guy parked a Tesla at the airport and went on vacation. When he came back the battery was dead, and the car had to be towed. Apparently a parked Tesla draws about 3 to 6% of the battery power per 24 hours. A main switch to the battery would have fixed that, trucks/lorries have had that for ages. That's what happens when a IT nerd builds a car. I will go for the BMW I3 with range extender.

Thank you guys for helping me out, Im from the Netherlands.. So Where can i buy it in the best Way.. Thanks for responding Google is your friend Google is not our friend. Their algorithms already bias searches away from Bitcoin and independent voices. #BoycottGoogleSearch Try www.ECOSIA.com -- they plant trees for searches. SWEET DEAL on Trezor here: 89 Euros / 99 USD https://shop.trezor.io/?a=coinok They accept BTC. Or faster shipping from www.amazon.comYeah, Google stopped giving me relevant answers to my searches about two years ago, thats when I stopped using Google.

I think one of the reason why the Core team insists on soft fork and no hard fork is for backward compatibility, so that someone can still run their strip-down 0.5.3 node.
But I presume everyone already knows that if you bury those paper wallets in the backyard, it is going to turn into dust in a few years. Same thing as if someone bury those fiat cash (non polymer ones), you will end up with only those shiny metallic security stripe. Some govt/bank will allow you to exchange those metallic security stripe into new notes, but don't bet on it.
So if people insist on burying their paper wallet, use something like CryptoSteel or just stamp your private keys (part of it or "encrypted") onto metal sheets or AU kilobars.
I don't bury paper, do I come of as subpar IQ? They are in turn put in airtight plastic containers, and also a copy on a USB stick, you know, like Jimbo does it.

|
What will happen to all those paper wallets in long storage if in the future core and others only support segwit?
If I go out in the garden in ten years and unearth my stash, how do I redeem it?

I got a letter from the taxman the other day saying I owe the state the equivalent of 10 cents, that's slightly less then the postage .
Send 'em BTC 0.000007 I have to correct myself, it was the equivalent of about 1 USD, and I have since found out that I don't have to pay it. Anything below 12 USD will just be transfered to next years tax form. That's what happens when you drink and post. BULLET DODGED! That BTC .000007 will be worth 20 cents next year. HODL!!! Like always.

ATM in Hong Kong: If this is real, for some reason, you see that bitcoin.com is stamped on the top of the bitcoin ATMs. Does anyone consider that as strange? Are folks believing that Bitcoin.com is a legitimate entrance into information about bitcoin? There seem to be quite a few folks who get confused by this kind of information, including supposed legitimacy in a name, such as bitcoin.com (which is really nearly a full fledged attack on bitcoin, no?) Looks like some photoshoped fuse boxes to me.

So it will be impossible to redeem paper wallets on core in the future? I thought we would have two systems working in parallel.

By any rational standard, an organism that is incapable of reproducing has failed natural selection and is a genetic error...
I would invite you to look into research on homosexuality in simian populations - the non-reproducing members contribute to the group in other ways, such as helping raise the young within the tribe, and resource gathering. things like "SJW-ism" and liberalism - cancer cells attempting to attack the functional cells.
No argument with you there. Fuck everything about SJW-ism and liberalism. I'm not even convinced that being gay or lesbian is genetic destiny. There have been studies with identical twins, and the correlation is far from the 100% expected if it were entirely genetic. This suggests that there are environment factors at work. Even if there were genes that increase the likelihood someone will turn out homosexual, this isn't necessarily an "error." The exact same genes could also enhance a person's ability to pass on the genes to the next generation, either through a survival advantage or making them more attractive to the opposite sex. https://youtu.be/g0Tr_G5s6aM?t=487
