Wonder what effect the alibaba news will have on this news-sensitive market

The fact that it did anything at all shows how stupid traders are.

China doesn't like Bitcoin. We get it. It's old news now. You don't all need to panic sell every time China does something else bad. Factor China into your price and move on.

+1. Let's show the traders who's got the balls... and the brains also!
1762  Economy / Economics / Re: Slovenian bank nationalised on: January 08, 2014, 10:26:17 AM
Not long ago Slovenian bank Nova KBM had been nationalised and around 20% stocks which belong to Polish investors had vanished from they accounts today.
This was established with European Central Bank who admitted this is a proper way to act in this case (to cancel investment without refunding).
Polish news:

Time to go full Bitcoin in Bitstamp?

This news is of course nothing to do with BITSTAMP who use Unicredit, an international bank who came out top of stress tests and also would not be touched by any action (now deemed unnecessary by the EU) by the Slovenian government.

FUD ladies and gentlemen. Just do what you would normally do.

Of course, I have nothing against day traders. But we might have a problem with pseudo-hodlers reading this thread and picking up "sentiments" that have absolutely nothing to do with long-term hodling.

Please tell me, how do you become a certified Hodler? Is there a membership card? If there is can I have one please?  Smiley
You need to stash your BTC away to where you can't readily access them, log out of this forum and do something else for 3 or 5 years.

Oh well... So I'm doing it half right then!

What goes up must come down , too many green candles at once not good.

So far the back end of the "bubble" has confused the hell out of the experts. My guess, more surprises to come!  Smiley

1771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Massive Dump of SR Bitcoins by FBI/US Govt in coming weeks? (techcrunch) on: January 08, 2014, 08:57:36 AM
MatTheCat I may be wrong, but your buy orders seem too low to me (I just saw your other post).

Everyone said that the last time around, so I ended up nudging them up a bit, and got burned.

My buy orders stay, if they don't get triggered then I don't care.....I still have a bit of dough to play the bounces with...missed the 765 to 840 bounce cos I got to my PC when it was at 790, and I was trying to hold out for 780...DOH!!

I know what you say about last time - that means it likely won't play out like that again! Be aware.

What I have said is true. Despite China overall market sentiment has NEVER been so positive for Bitcoin. There is a certain future for Bitcoin in the States now and you can bet in today's world it will take off quite quick!

People know this. They will want in earlier rather than later.

That's market sentiment! And in the past it was seriously gloomy at these points. But not now!  Smiley
1772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 08, 2014, 08:53:21 AM
So... who of you didn't...

HODL!?Huh

HODLING and pulling back up nice and easy!   Cool
1773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Massive Dump of SR Bitcoins by FBI/US Govt in coming weeks? (techcrunch) on: January 08, 2014, 08:51:02 AM
It's bullshit! The OP is FUD!

...and if the OP reported that the US government are set to take a massive position in Bitcoin, would that still be FUD?

MatTheCat I may be wrong, but your buy orders seem too low to me (I just saw your other post).
1774  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 08, 2014, 08:45:19 AM

What is this?

A correction for ants?!

I went to bed on a big bright red 6h candle, expecting I'd wake up to single digits (maybe lower!), and now what do we got here? 940?!

I'm disappointed guys. You can do better. Give it another try, for me.

It's very measured. Feels like people are very reluctant to sell their coins doesn't it? Even when the experts tell them it's time to do so!  Smiley

1776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Massive Dump of SR Bitcoins by FBI/US Govt in coming weeks? (techcrunch) on: January 08, 2014, 08:26:17 AM
so...through all the fud & misinformation: Did Ullbricht give them the private keys or not? Untill I see something like that confirmed, or the certainty that the FBI has access to them, I defintely refuse to even assume there will be an FBI sell-off.

It's bullshit! The OP is FUD!
1777  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: January 08, 2014, 08:24:36 AM
I almost don't want to go to sleep in fear that it'll drop below $500 by the time I wake up, fuck. Was tempted to sell as Bitstamp scraped $1k($997.9 high I think?). But I didn't, and I haven't sold on this downtrend so far. Hodling for now, but fuck man it's scary

HODL on. There's never been a better chance to screw the traders than today! Look how confused they all were by the length of the "bull trap". And why?

Because the market sentiment is much better than in the past. So you can expect more surprises, for example a "capitulation" that will feel more like a roly poly than a roller coaster.

1779  Economy / Speculation / Re: The philosophy of buying when others panic sell... on: January 07, 2014, 10:56:06 PM
You're the same bulltard who 48 hrs ago, stated btc will never seen triple digits again. So now that it's gone down 20%, you flip your propaganda to... hey cheap coinz on sale today, to da moon tomorrow !11!

Throughout all my posts I have only several key points:

1. Bitcoin is looking very stable these days, and poised for big success.

2. This is translating into the outcome of this latest bubble when you compare with previous ones.

3. Thus this is probably the very worst time in Bitcoin's history to panic sell your coins into a trader's lap!
