LOL but they both show as having 2.03% of coins!! that disrupts the top 10 addresses by a pretty large margin making it look like the rich are holding more than actuality. How did you move it? Did you go through Mintpal? Take this time to learn about crypto in general. You were asking some very basic questions about reading charts and even what "decentralized" meant. I get it, we all need to start somewhere but those are the types of things you want to know about before you lay down your hard-earned money on an investment. That is true, I just can't find any good tutorials. Even selling your coins for less then you bought can still make you money. Sounds weird but it is true How do you plan on doing that? Selling for less almost always makes you a loss. If I buy 10 XCurrency for 240k and sell at 200k and buy back at 140k. That's how I guess, but that is very risky, because if you buy 10 XC at 240k sell at 200k and what if it goes up again? You sold at a loss with nowhere to go. Then... you become the one that make someone else win.  |

How does intellectual property work in crypto currencies any way? I thought patents was part of the system blockchain tech was supposed to overthrow. A good idea only has value if it is realized. If you have an idea but not the skills to implement it the get in contact with a developer that can help you realize it or buy that developers time and expertise but don't claim ownership of an abstract not yet realized idea. Patents create unnecessary barriers to entry by a centralized force, they hinter a fair and free market price regulation.
I think we as investors has a responsibility to help Dan create new ideas and bring focus and attention to the good ideas, but this is to benefit this group and community not to create partnered ownership and centralization.
What if XC like Java had functionality that could be called by other coins like object classes for a small XC fee? They could develop it them selves or reuse XC but at a fair price.
Think that's why XC is called a "platform" and not just a coin. We will get there I am sure. |

There's no coins on exchange literally that people are willing to part with for such low price. Even if you have unlimited btc to buy the coin..., there's not even 640k coins that is sitting at Mintpal now for you to buy up (and only if EVERYONE put all their XC there with sell order) . If I look at a thread of which the coin is dying, everybody says that the price will go up again soon.
Why will this not happen to XC? Because everybody is basically saying the same thing here, but I don't see any noticeable price change with XC.
Please note that this isn't FUD, I am just wondering why people have so much faith in a coin.
Because most other coins are made from an anon dev who are planning to dump and run away forever at any time.... |

Can anybody explain why the trade volume of XC is so low? When XC was on its way to 500k the trade volume was way higher, what happened?
It's down in general trading this month because of the Holiday season I suspect. Once Autumn kicks in I expect a higher trading volume all round, but that is just my assumption. All the Whales are probably sunning themselves on beaches now.  The trade volume is down for a while now, even before the holidays XC didn't get traded as much as back then, so I doubt that is it. Well, looks good so far. In two weeks QBK has done more than half of these alt's combined. I finally got 1000 coins hot on the grill steakin...

If we can turn enemies into friends and fudders into supporters, I am in! Let's all make Crypto a better place and even if sometimes we disagree (like all families do it's normal) Let's just be nicer about it. I want all coins to rock and blossom and as the moon is already overcrowded let's head to colonize some other planets too! QIBUCKS wants to build some Stargates..come with us! We have some good spanners in the works coming and we want everyone together to benefit. If we can bring into Crypto people form all walks of life and just double the market cap from today it would benefit all good coins with sincere intentions. We welcome all good constructive criticism and input. If also something else we have planned falls into place we may have a really nice gift for XC! We are arranging a meeting and if what I plan is doable and we reach an agreement with that company it will benefit Altcoins a lot. The platform we will build anyway but the added extra could more than treble the revenues so fingers crossed they agree to our proposal. On that note I am very famished and have to cook and eat.. I will say... that was a 0.9 btc shakeout. Shit guys, just roll with it...trying to lighten up the mood in here and boost moral. People are freaking out and being aggresive with each other, no reason to be condescending towards other community members. @CryptoGretzky, no kidding it wasn't a real shakeout. Think I'll shake myself out of the thread for a couple days til people regain their normal composure and politeness. I think the quietness and calmness before really got people agitated. You, Wonderloops and Bentley, 3 hardcore XC supporters started a relentless attack on our coin because we sold out in 5 hours in the ICO and did your best to crash the price. You all used your whale manipulation and underhanded tactics to destroy our coin from the offset. You are seething and angry because we DIDN'T RUN away with the ICO funds, also may I point out that we have other developments in place to build other revenue generating platforms that don't involve XC. XC DEV were just ONE of our JV choices we decided to embark upon. I find it sad and disheartening that you are behaving in exactly the same manner as your DARK enemies did to you when you first launched and had to prove yourselves. This is the end of this conversation by me, I hope the XC TEAM see that some of their supporters are contravening their TOS. We really don't know if they are "supporters" or fudsters to be honest.... I'd like to confirm the news just posted here.
The XC and Qibuck devs are partnering to develop a feature that'll allow nodes to earn money.
A few details:
- It's a particularly exciting feature that I'm not sure anyone else has thought of yet.
- The reason for the partnership is that by sharing resources we reduce both development time and costs, and in this case we will not disadvantage XC's market position in any way (more info as to why will follow).
- Silverkinguk (Samuel) is part of the XC team and so if he announces something it can be trusted.
That just makes the team sound incompetent. Why are we collaborating with QiBuck? XC supposed to be the best coin out there, all tech developed supposed to be original. By collaborating with other coins, we put ourselves with those coins in the same category. Do we really want to be known to associate with QIBuck? If they fail, XC’s reputation fail with it. Do we really want to take that risk? The same thing goes with Dan reviewing other coin. If Dan gave a good review and those coins turns out to be a scam or P&D. What that will do to Dan’s reputation? There are so many scams and shit coins out there, why are we not distance ourselves from them? On top of that, that guy dropped in here announce the news before the XC team can announce it first. I love the XC team, but this is very sad. i hate to admit this publicly, but there have been moments when i think xc is just another racket (wish i could read source code) ...but then i try to consider all of the factors. the factor that settles me back in is always how hard and diligent this team works. maybe they occassionally expend energy where i think it is far from productive (namely the hiatus with mamm coin  ) but then they're back to business. what all factors they have to take into consideration when formulating their agenda i know is beyond me. these things are not within my control, this is not my brainchild. 1) i am certain it is in the teams best interest not to be associated with scam coins and that they are quite aware of that fact. and i'm certain they know the difference so therefore scamcoins will be avoided as best they see fit. 2) i don't think that if QiBuck fails, it will reflect poorly on xc. all i see happening in a scenario like that is the QiBuck supporters finding a home here. 3)correct me if i'm wrong, but dan is only reviewing coins who are utilizing xc's rev1 sourcecode? therefore he will receive recognition and be considered the grandfather of them all. a reputation that commands automatic respect. it's called name recognition. again, i only see those investors keeping a closer eye on xc because of his review (when they ask themselves who the #@$! is dan?!) and will be one of the first flood of new investors here. there. i said it. If QBK fails, then that will weigh negatively on XC. Example, GM owned Pontiac. Pontiac did horribly and now guess what, Pontiac as a car brand is gone. GM Stock took a hit. Daimler merged with Chrysler, we all know what happened there - bad move. Sometimes collaboration/merging is not a smart move. Especially with a coin like QBK which can't sustain itself. IF Pontiac was a subsidiary of GM, then sure.... QBK is not co-created nor owned by Dan nor XC. |
