We should run a coordinated test through IRC chat.
Everyone can get on IRC, and we should all send 2 XC at the same time.
Everyone sends to a different address, and we then use 1 receiving address and put up a bounty to try to track down the sender address.
I will be in IRC now.
In case people don't know the link to IRC: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#XCofficial

Trust me when I say media attention is not really desirable while the "nodes-can-steal-money" issue remains.
Atcsecure already said dynamic trust system will prevent bad actors from stealing. Are you more or as qualified as him to present an argument opposing this? If so, let's hear it. Because all I've seen you do is offer up ungrounded "thesis statements" with no supporting arguments. Not trying to troll, but I'd like to see a solid argument of why you oppose atcsecures method. Until then, nothing you say holds any water. Operative word: will. Which means, as it is right now, with nodes being able to steal money, you don't want much attention because it can instantly snap the other way around to ...negative attention. Let's see the fix first... You seem to spend most of your time on the DRK thread.. What a shock.. Apols in advance for giving you some competition. I've given the exact same advice regarding DRK marketing in the past. Finish the product, market later. No need to have broken functionality trigger people "ohhh this is broken" type of stuff. I agree with this too.... I think letting the polished product speak for itself. The price of the coin will take care of itself.

Honestly, I see the price fall as a blessing. The general public (aka the masses) has no idea the significance / progress that atcsecure is making with this coin and its anon tech. There will soon come a day when no amount of troll FUD can hold back the price. Use this as an opportunity to stock up.
+1 I have taken this opportunity to really load up on more XC... Think I added another 10k XC last night thanks to the drop into the 130k area.

With the REV1 work wrapping up, tomorrow I will be focus'd on all the loose ends, and also the team will be using a new task management system[to organize the project], bounty's will be offered as there is a lot of work left to be done in a short amount of time.
Nice one. That's great. If you need anyone to edit or write copy for the site, etc. PM me. So I need a very efficient way to organize and manage this project effectively with the community.. and I think something like similar to hitask... any recommendations? Have you thought of having a public Trello, so that we can all see what's happening in the development plan? https://trello.com/

It is not panic (well its a mix of both i guess), it the 10 top holders that are cashing out. Check richlist.
I don't understand. "Last change" of most of them is days ago Not to mention that "Last change" is also affected by staking your wallet. And ATCsecure also mentioned that keeping smaller wallets actually helps with staking instead of one large one.

|
I already tried that, and the results was me missing 47 XC. I guess i could rebuild it but last time it took me around 30 restarts and over 30 mins to rebuild ... sucks. More or less same problem here... Have you tried to go into debug->console and type repairwallet?

this is a scam, does not even have the related source code published...
Code is based on MintCoin, which is an old generation of pow/pos code, does not have many recent pos fixes.
Dude, you are stupid ) you definitely are, as you don't even know what I am talking about. Let dev or someone knows the context answer this. From your post history... ya... credible... lol

The thing is you never logged the actual address before starting this so we have no idea of knowing if you are being straight. What you needed to do was upload a password protected rar file somewhere with the address in before starting the competition. He said he will post screenshot of his transaction tomorrow at the beginning already....

Source is up mates. You have no idea of failed launches trust me lol. Ya, 6 minutes after launch and 100 blocks instamined....
|
|
|
How do you "LAUNCH" without source?!?!?

|
|
DRK just forked on Cryptsy....peopel gonna be pissed.... this could be what XC needed
Really? Then they should change their symbol to FRK cause they fork so often??! But, seriously, link or source? Go read cryptsy's tweets on cryptsy.com Vern said that market was paused cuz DRK forked. Hmm... the last one I saw was on May 26. Is there another one after that? If not, we really shouldn't spread FUD....

Do you know how dangerous an automatically updated wallet is? I would not want to run that... what if the update payload was intercepted and hacked?
|
|
|
why that huge ammount of coins?
1 satoshi coin spotted...
Probably destined for LTC market... not even in the BTC market. Scrypt ASIC will also totally destroy this coin.

Are there any benefits already for running xnodes?
Potential benefits currently include the fee's received and helping fine-tune the code logic In the running and Xnode user guide, you mention reserving 10000 XC in the guide. Did you mean 1000?
|
|
|
Then people should not repeat that XC delivered now where dark hasn't. One has to choose between what you say (which makes a lot more sense), and what they do.
Does DRK have a decentralized multi-path anonymizer that any users can run from their wallet without 10 years+ of IT/Linux experience to setup a Masternode just so they don't get hacked? I don't recall that...

I don't know if you guys really want to play this game just yet. ATCSecure has always said that this is just a coinmixer and not "NSA" level type anonymity. His rev 3 will get to that level. If somehow, the answer is correct, you guys will just create a lot of FUD that ATCSecure never said rev 1 will deliver.... you mean. No one should test the anonymity in case they can break it? bit of an odd way to approach a feature set. In my line of work we have always tested code as hard as we possibly can until it broke. Then we knew how to make it better. Sure you should test it, but don't take it like it's an official representation of what XC will ultimately deliver at the end. The test is on the sending of it arriving at the destination, not on how "secure" or "anonymous" the final XC will deliver. Everyone knows that coin mixing isn't 100% anonymous and ATCSecure have already said that for rev 1, it's just a generic mixer that won't deliver 100% anonymity. DRK trolls will run with this and FUD this to death. There is no need to create FUD for them. Now, if REV3 anonymity fails, then that's a different story.
