341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supercoin is fundamentally broken - read why inside and save yourself money on: August 17, 2014, 05:14:54 AM
Just own a few nodes so you can be Guarantor and Mixer.   Free Supercoin/Mammothcoin!   Weeee!
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? Looks like the answer is NO on: August 16, 2014, 11:36:04 AM
Fudder going to fud.  LOL.   These Supercoin/Mammothcoin trolls just can't help themselves.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: August 16, 2014, 04:03:35 AM
XC white papers will be out Saturday or Sunday. Other coins claiming to soon have decentralized trustless multisig anon don't even have wallets released yet, so they obviously can stfu.

It's really quite funny seeing the fud level of super/mammoth coin people.   Their fudding effort is over 9000 that's for sure.    They really should rename their coin to FUDcoin.

is this possible with XC?

Unseen, An Anonymous Photo Sharing App For Colleges, Raises $2.1 Million

http://techcrunch.com/2014/08/15/unseen-an-anonymous-photo-sharing-app-for-colleges-raises-2-1-million/

http://getunseen.com/

That's why I keep saying we need a "group chat" like feature.   It will make XC so big....  Imagine a replacement for Whatsapp, Line, Wechat, Snapchat, etc.   That alone makes XC mobile app worth near billion dollar range....

Imagine special interest group where anybody can join and chat anonymously....

I have bought all my Bitcoins from bittylicious (uk)  they accept GBP for other currencies like doge,  drk  etc.  It would be great if we could be added there.  Anyone else from the UK wanna help by emailing them?

I believe we also need quite a bit of uk xc sellers in order for bittylicious to add us.

Yeah good point.  I'm certainly not selling!

Selling XC now will be like buying a pizza for 10k btc back then.

To this day I regrete not buying BTC when I first heard about it back way early in 13, for if I had and cashed out when it was around 1K.... I would have been set for life.

XC is MY BTC....

I randomly found out about BTC near the very beginning, could mine on my shitty standard pc. I remember thinking "this is pointless I've had my pc on for a week mining and only have about £2 worth."

this was like early 2010. i cant remember how many i had. many hard drive formats later I'll never know. probably for the best.

2010... £2 worth... so that probably would have been worth around 4.9 millions or so   Cry

Speaking of Pizza, who's gonna be the first to buy a pizza with XC now we've been added to https://coingateway.net/

www.takeaway.com

It will have to be someone in the UK. Wink

ATCSecure,

We should make a decision right now that if an exchange gets hacked and XC is stolen there will be no rollback or blacklist.  It is what it is.
Anyone who has there XC sitting on an exchange and is that stupid deserves anything that may happen..yes i agree.

Right now, around 13.43% of XC is sitting in Mintpal.

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/#!wallets

If you have a lot of coins sitting at Mintpal, what are you thinking?   They got hacked recently.   Bter's NXT hack might be some new unknown attack vector that could be affecting Mintpal or other exchange too.

What are you waiting for?   Withdraw those XC away from the exchange!
I hold 70+k none on exchanges split up on different machines all in cold storage  just in-case anything happens hahaha XC is my precious

I should say if ANYONE have coins, not you as in you. Wink

When are the Tor sticks shipping out?

When REV 3 is out.   It's posted on the first page road map along with a lot of other important info.

Most likely before.

That's good to know.    Early delivery can only make people happy.  Smiley

I really believe xc's time in the spotlight is just round the corner now. And so well deserved which is the nicest part

XC price deserves to rise to 0.5 BTC at least, but it will take time.

Let's work on breaking 0.01 first. Wink

Which should be fairly soon.

Well, we probably will need BTC price to recover a bit first.  Need some market confidence to come back... hard to predict when that will happen.  But I agree, when that does happen, where do you think BTC will come pouring into?  My bet is that XC will be at the top of that list.
any speculation on what happened to market confidence?

There were speculations that bitfinex was margin calling on people and closing their short BTC position which flash crashed it.  Adding onto it, there were speculations that Ethereum people were dumping their BTC that they got from their "presale".

I'm chatting with 502bit on Xchat. The receive/send speed is so fast!!!
Someone could record a xchat instant message video to show the super fast chat!!! (I don't know how to record screen)
WoW!

Oh no.  What happened to his other 48bit???   Grin

But, yes.  XChat is instantaneous.

Think of XC as Google. Google.com is the product. Google is the company name.

Same thing here with XC. XC is the company its product is the Xcurrency.

The Apps it will be building on blockchain 2.0 are the features like storage, video chatting, messaging etc.

You hit it!!!

What I am hoping for is XC blockchain 2.0 applications beats out Ethereum in being released.   If Ethereum can pull that much btc in their presale... imagine XC being able to do the same....
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: August 14, 2014, 10:25:59 AM
wow only 13.64% XC are on mintpal and bittrex/cryptsy doesn't appear in top 20 largest wallets.
Basically, 85%+ of coins are stacking ATM.  XC holding very strong Smiley

yeah, rather have them stake than to sell/dump at these ridiculous prices  Cool

Mintpal can get hacked any time... Bittrex don't have much volumes anyway for XC.  So, the best place is in my wallet staking and generating more coins.  Wink

How can you have a ceo of a currency?

He does bring up a good point. It may hurt xcurrency if people are confused about whether or not it is a decentralized currency or a company.

Think bigger... The only way a coin is going to get beside bitcoin is to have mass adoption.  You can bring the masses with chat, voice and video that is annonymous and secure.  Think a better snapchat, instagram, skype... a better user friendly platform will bring folks and lots of nodes.    They then will also be introduced to Xcurrency for payment of goods and services.  This is why I invest in Xcurrency as a traditional non-crypto/tech investor.

Exactly.   If you are new to cryptocurrency and you want to invest in something other than Bitcoin because you feel Bitcoin already had its run, and you start to dabble into the alt coin scene.  You have the following two choices:

a) a coin that you have no idea who created it
b) a coin that you know who the creator is and has a great team behind it that is also known

Which coin would the investor put the money into?

Now, XC is run like a company and professional presentation and representation all around with all the features in the future (just a beginning list...): Skype + Snapchat + totally private.   I don't think it's that hard for a new investor to choose....

Nice!! Another separation from the other shit coins.   XC is run like a company so it's totally fitting.

XCurrency just added to https://www.coingateway.net/ -- spend XC anywhere BTC is accepted!!!

Badass.  We had literally 300 votes in what 8 hours?

The XC community is too awesome!

Noticed Reddcoin wasn't added even though they had more votes?   Seems like coingateway knows their stuff.   Grin
