Instead we got at 12:01 AM a non functional release. testnet only release... means to me.. somethings broken so dont use it on mainnet.. for the record I am not FUDing. I am stating facts bro. also I am not trying to lower price for newbs. newbs should be aware of the facts. the fact is STILL no one can answer simple questions about xnodes. I asked over and over and over on reddit.. i was ignored in the AMAs.. go read. when u ignore investors. when u dont listen to them about things (privacy platform / xcurrency) , when u do not release on deadlines withouT prior notice... it leaves a bad taste in mouth. I will be back to XC when I see things have calmed down. for now I can no longer invest here. I am sorry. With "supporters" like you, who needs FUDding... |

Got dumped into. Why people sell when the dev seems to have pulled off what every other coin has failed to do I do not know. This may be the anon coin everyone buys into this month.
People that complains about XC really deserves coins like Burner, original Kore, and original Voot where the dev just literally took off and runs away.... |

This wasn't supposed to be beta. Rev1.5 was beta. Rev2.0 was not supposed to be beta and, as we were told, would not require testing. Hmm.. you are wrong. It's not officially released until Rev 3. |

Is this strategic to differentiate the long term investors from the short term? Is there going to be a mega pump and support after rev. 2 release?
or is it because the Dev couldn't deliver in time? Questions questions
If this delay is on purpose to cause a panic that is a dick thing to do. As a long term holder, I think it's a great thing to do to shake the weak hands out. |

There are critical reasons for this schedule. I'm sorry it vexes you. Apologies. Synechist are we still thinking in the next couple of hours? We're still thinking today, yes. Still thinking... not to promising.. Seriously if you guys don't deliver on time thats a major disappointment... As "professionals" you should know that if for any reason you aren't gonna meet a target goal you should address it to the community head on in advance to prevent the FUD that comes along with missed promises... really disheartening to be hearing this The word "thinking" is not meant to introduce any doubt that the release will come out today. I'm reading both XC and cloakcoin OP's and cannot seem to understand the difference between XC's new PBoC, and cloakcoin PoSA?
Does anyone know what separates these coins as obviously two front runners in the anon tech. Maybe explained for those that don't know ins and outs of anon tech.

Cloak currently has a broken blockchain so I would not be that worried about the differences..... And they are fixing it, please answer the question posted not posting FUD, I really want to know about each coin, even if you just fully explain XC here to me, then that's fine. XC is multipath or soon will be for starters.. I can only assume cloak is not.. But cloak as it stands has a non functional blockchain and has not really delivered a lot yet, I would not say it is really that comparable... Also they seem to be taking a while to fix it.... Also... put it this way... Cloak's dev has family over that's why they can't fix the blockchain... ya... that's right.. has family over so can't fix the blockchain issue.... |

I'm very new to this whole Crypto currency thing (first post). I've only invested in XC and monitored the price constantly, it seems to my untrained eye that the only thing stopping it from exploding are the whales/manipulators.
e.g when XC was lingering at around 120k - 170k Satoshi for weeks and a whale put a wall around 120btc @170k to push the price down, a few forum members (+ others) ate that whole wall and the price rocketed up to 220k in under 12 hours.
Again the price went up to 310k and then same old story.
Now I understand the purpose of this but I wish that they would just sell it off bit by bit so XC could grow faster to where it truly should be at sooner rather than later, instead of the back and forth bs.
Feel free to educate me as I am a noob to all this.
It's just basic human psychology/greed taking place. Nothing goes up in a straight line. |

It looks like I didn't make a big mistake selling at 240k now because I'm re-buying lower. I started to like XC a lot and the work that is being done. It is normal that a correction occurs after a 300 % pump in a few days. If the developers just keep on delivering, the massive dumps can't stop this coin from getting a larger market cap. Good luck to you all!

If you work at Mintpal and have control of choosing which coin to add:
1. Don't add them and let the price drop
2. Load up on that coin
3. Add that coin the next day
4. ....
5. Profit!
I've suggested this multiple times before and people always say it's not possible and it's not worth their while but the fact is, given some of their decisions it makes a hell of a lot of sense. If you put people in a position of power and temptation without any oversight you are basically giving them free reign to misbehave. I mean there's no regulation, no rules... why won't they take advantage of it. This is the wild west. |
