http://uk.businessinsider.com/bill-gates-on-cryptocurrency-2018-2?r=US&IR=T

Billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said no technology has "caused deaths in a fairly direct way" to the extent that cryptocurrencies have.
He said that the ease with which people can anonymously buy drugs is a major problem, and suggested that cryptocurrencies are used to launder money and fund terrorist organizations.
Gates also added that "the speculative wave" around initial coin offerings and cryptocurrencies is "super risky."

Bill is short.

Don't be like Bill.

Where is that dinosaur graph again..appropriate contextual material at this point.

I find it interesting that the story about craig wright being satoshi has resurfaced again.
Not only in this thread, but I saw a few more topics on the forum today. I am not a veteran in the crypto space like most of you are, so I do not know if this has happened many times before. But I have noticed that certain news stories(if you can call them news) get recycled every once in a while. Which has an impact on newer people in crypto. Perhaps creating uncertainty or doubt?

Just waiting for roach to turn up talking about how it's all part of (((their))) plan

Yes..I briefly considered that...but..zfg really. I am not jewish..nor do I either like or hate jews in particular..I really think all that political bullshit is really just that...bullshit. I transcended most of all those petty thoughts years ago. We...Homo Sapien(and Felis Catus ofc)..are all brothers and sisters floating around on a really really small speck of mud in a not so special galaxy, off in what is probably a tiny corner of the Universe....

Do we have other things to be worrying about..I think so.

This particular dinosaur chart pattern gives a clearer indication of where the price is heading. The yellow bit is next.

You can draw with what ever crayons you like..I prefer orange and green.

A bright early good morning Bitcoinland.

Meanwhile on the wall observation front, there's been some fancy dancing of multiple 200 coin bids at Stamp. Phony or real?

Its just a reflection of the political mindset that has paralyzed the West for decades. Oh no...everything is fine..ignore the elephant in the room...

I for one have had enough.
4132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 23, 2018, 06:43:35 PM
...but it's not all as bleak as some people like to make it out to be. Smiley

No, it is not..as with most things it all depends on where you are taking in the view from. I for one think the future is very bright indeed. I really dont have a opinion as to what happens behind closed doors between consenting adults . I however value the dynamics that a man and a woman share when raising a child. I think that humanity has spend a good amount of time perfecting those tribal tendencies and I think it fosters better grounded individuals.

It could also potentially lead to people spending more time on picking up skills and hobbies as they won't be clogged up with superficial relationships that merely resulted from their sex drive.

It really is going to be amazing the amount of time freed up due to mechanization.

I actually think that this is already happening.

Historically, women were dependent on men for their labor and men were dependent on women for sex.  The resulting "power over" relationships often had problems with manipulation and bullying on both sides.

More recently, advancements in contraception, industrialization and pay equity for women has largely freed them from their historical dependence on men, skewing the power balance radically in their favor.

But, even more recently, the advent of ubiquitously available internet porn has largely freed men from their dependence on women for sex. I see the coming sex bots as merely a continuation of this trend.

The power relation is swinging back into balance, but in an entirely new way where neither gender is dependent on the other for their needs.  For perhaps the first time in history we have the opportunity to form mature, discretionary and fully consensual relationships not based on fear.

Still trying to wrap by brain around this last part jojo...interesting to say the least. Trying to insert a Kramer mind blown gif and...well...heh.  I want to think about this last paragraph some more.

What price to buy BTC - buying time  Cool

1. 0.5 fib retrace
2. identified support/resistance levels
3. Middle Bollinger Band

-snip-

Simple but has elegance. Traits of all the finer things in life.
I expect a retest of the 10.8k resistance line. This weekend will provide volatility and strong hands buying the dips will profit nicely.
WOsMerits for those that deserve them..you know who you are.
Carry on.

When can I trade in my wife for one?

Huge industry...ever heard of "pillownauts".  Even more on point is the movie "Her" where they rent another body so the AI has a "sleeve". Sadly this will trend higher as technology enables remote interactions via robotics.

Just a momentary distraction while changing cassette tapes in the car stereo. Got a bit close to the kerb. Badger has always been a bit careless.   What does Badger like to listen to?

But as for myself...2008 Crossroads was a hella show..this being a personal fav.

This gets talked about in the hardware section quite a bit. Not about Apple and Samsung per say but who is making what where. What a lot of people dont realize is that there is literally only a couple of places that actually make chips.

Not sure how relevant this is to anything, as I am only now 5 minutes in, but the guy makes fun of swedes and makes a case for chimps being smarter than the average human, so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tdzuHFwbBU

Edit: Do we have any swedes around here? Just out of curiosity.
Google the IQ of Koko the Gorilla and then Google the average IQ in the Congo.
I know. There are places in africa where people have an IQ of... fucking 60... Harambe died for our sins!
I would've guessed 80ish. When I actually found out I couldn't stop laughing for a few minutes.

I thought it relevant for the fact it gives good data on the unbanked and also likely places that will need bitcoin based businesses in the future. The market in Africa especially seems ripe if their population is going to double in the next 80 years.
I also think he was not making fun of anyone so much as pointing out how an audience can still test poorly even though assumed to be sophisticated.
