I'm going to try to put a positive spin on things, since there seems to be so much negativity.
Bumface, thank you and to all of your fellow devs for creating UTC and creating the opportunity for me to have a chance to make some extra money. Personally, I think that you have done your part and are continuing to try to make UTC successful. I think you should take some time off, have a few beers, and wiggle your toes in the sand on a tropical beach somewhere. You gave us the tool (UTC) to give us the opportunity to possibly make a better life for ourselves. Many of us will continue to try to promote the growth of UTC and take it where you envisioned, when you created it. I also want to thank the pool operators for their tireless efforts to keep their pools up and running, while fighting off ddos attacks. They also have been a wealth of knowledge to new miners and a voice of calm, during chaotic moments in the chat rooms.
I would like for the UTC community to get behind bumface and the devs and not in front of them. It is our job as a community to make UTC grow. Look at some of the other popular alt coin communities where the community made the coin grow. Some here have done that and we should follow their example. UTC continues to grow in the face of downfall of other popular coins. With everyone's help, that can continue.
Once again, Thank you
Thanks..been trying to figure out how to say the same things for awhile now but the noise from the trolls has been to much. To all the belly achin sonsabitches..STFU and GTFO if you dont like what you see. Maybe you should take the fiat your investing in crypto and get a therapist instead if you need you hand held 24/7. I hear they do that sort of thing.

Hi All. Anyone having a problem with logging in to Crypto-Trade? I was on there just fine for a week or so buying and trading UTC. Just today, when I tried to log on, there was a pop up box for a post log-on verification code via email. The thing is, I never get that email so i cannot log on to my account. I created a support ticket (the response had my account, screen name, and email address), and I even get automated replies to my email address when I update the ticket, but am still not able to log on. No response to the ticket in 10+ hours now.
I also tried creating another account, but the account verification email never arrives, so I can't complete the process.
I'v checked spam settings, etc.
Any suggestions to get a hold of the admin/devs there so I can get this resolved? I have a bunch of UTC there and I want to continue buying/trading.
Thanks all!
Yes, same thing happended to me last night. The confirm emails take several minutes to come. Need to leave the shadow box open until you get it. I sent out for two of them and tried to use the first one and it was rejected, waited for the second and had no problem. -EDIT- p.s. I mine like a boss at leetpools.

-snip-
I'm actually a little surprised; at how you perceived those pages. If we were to exclude and simplify many of those posts to one word; it would be "Help". The community is asking for help. I think that is more what the community was asking. I don't think there was intention to insult. Just the boxer saying "I'm gettin' killed out here boss. How to I get inside and beat the opponent?" I totally agree there was the "perfect storm" of FUD and BTC issues that have hampered things. I also agree 17 days is early. I have no doubts that you are working behind the scenes and have things being planned, so I have no worries there. In general I agree with a lot of what you said overall. It seems like many in the last 2 pages are already becoming an "i ndividually pro active community" and that's great "news" in itself. I'm overjoyed to be seeing this response. Finally, this statement you said: "Crypto is rapidly becoming a self imploding system, where hype is more important then content.UTC is intended a counterpart for this troublesome development. If i wanted to i could make a coin with 99% fluff and 1% content and perhaps it would grow faster then UTC.....doesnt this worry you for the future?" +1000. I am 100% on board with that statement! I don't see any of these coins out now with "long-term" potential; save for UTC. Cotton candy is a lot of fluff; darn stuff dissolves into nothing once you put it in your mouth. Once all these fluff coins "dissolve in the mouths of those who ate coins"; people will be able to see that, like rock candy, UTC lasts longer ;P Keep up the good work. Could not have said it better. Thanks!

please anyone have any instructions on how I turn on the POS?
instructions from the first page: Proof of Stake explanation 20% interest per year if you 1. have utc in wallet 2. don't spend it during that year 3. have wallet online all year 4. have wallet unlocked for minting, do this like so: - Open debug window, then console, then type: 'walletpassphrase' yourpassword '999999999' TRUE I have seen this post like 10x it doesn't help. I need instructions on how I unlock the wallet for minting not an explanation of POS. Step 4 from above: In your QT wallet on the top right; there is a "Debug" button. A window will pop up where you can now click "Console". This will give you a command prompt window where you can enter commands (help, gethashespersec, etc). Now, in the command prompt enter ------ walletpassphrase reallytoughpassword 99999999 True . Above, walletpassphrase should be followed (after a space) by your wallet password (passphrase). The number you enter (9999999) is the amount of seconds that the wallet will be unlocked; if you close the wallet this will be reset. While your wallet is online (3.) and unlocked (4.) and you have unspet / moved coins (2); you are ready for POS rewards. A final way to check that you have successfully unlocked the wallet correctly; Hover your mouse pointer over the "locked" icon (at the bottom right) of your wallet. If you entered correctly; it should say "Encrypted and Unlocked". I have tried the above but I am getting error message "Method not found (code -32601)".Any ideas? Thank you! walletpassphrase <yourpassphrase> '999999999' true I had same problem using 'TRUE' or 'True'. I used all lower case for 'true' and it worked fine. Hope this helps.

when leetpool will be alive? anyone knows smth?
So whats with leetpools? Still cannot connect.
I have 1 miner that refuses to connect to leetpools. I can put another pool url (minepools) in the bat file and it connects to the other pool just fine. I took another bat file from an identical miner that connects and put it into the one that won't. Still won't connect. Rebooted, flushed DNS, still won't connect. Just times out. I'm at a loss on this one. Anyone have any suggestions? Still mining good at leetpools. I know the dashboard is down for some tweaking but my miners are all hooked up and hashing. Please set your failovers and migrate from Nitro to some of these smaller pools!
