Morning all.

Looks like support will be tested at the -0.236 level today. Conventional wisdom would think a end of the month rally to regain some losses if this where a rational market...alas...I am not sure that will be the case.

The one hour model has already been violated.

I'm in Bitcoin more than just for profit. What if what they say about LN trending towards centralization (and therefore government interference and control) comes true? What if BCH does live up to its promise of achieving massive on-chain scalability with low fees within the next few years? These are possibilities I take into account. I used to be a hard core maximalist, but I have changed my stance. It's much more than just bitcoin now, a whole industry is forming. I believe ICOs do have value. They offer anyone in the world a chance to invest in projects they believe in. I don't collect tokens, but there are many projects I respect and are trying to improve the world.

Really? Very simple 4 question litmus test:

1) Expain to me, what makes bitcoin decentralized?

2) Why did Segwit 2.0 attack fail on bitcoin?

3) Lightning network, convince me how it is contrary to what you earlier said, free from government interference - explanation? Take a stab, play devils advocate. (tip: talk routing)

4) Why is it, even since 2013, the hundreds of most 'established' altcoins after years, are not nearly as secure nor decentralized as bitcoin?

Simple four questions.

Oopsie.  5M charts for fun and profit.

... this is a joke.  I don't chart 5M.

Surprisingly un-bearish imo. Have to test resistance at that 0.236 fib.

This pennant needs to resolve.  More likely to go down than up but probably will just break sideways and make a new pennant.  Market is currently balanced.   Yellow line is long term bear trend line representing upper barrier to any rally.

Where did you anchor to get that "long term bear line"?  Just curious.  I think we will flat over most of the rest of this weekend and most of the coming week. However...part of me expects a moderate pump to come along soon as there are futures to close out soon.

Hello all.

The Black Friday sale on bitcoin is still in effect it appears. I think the price will settle some more over the weekend, then perhaps we will see a mini rally to close out the end of the month. #dyor

Hola Bitcoinland. Happy Thanksgiving to all you Gringos. Enjoy your Black Friday. I got some great deals this past weekend at El Buen Fin in Playa Del Carmen. I'll get to do it again in Toronto on Boxing Day.

Nice to see some semblance of sideways again... currently $4492USD/$5924CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Let's hang tough until I can get home and buy this dip.

The. bear. market. is. over. The writing is on all of the walls. I'm telling you. I'm staking my reputation on this point.

Can't take you seriously without a hat. Don't doodle on our fucking wall.

Your wall?

I think BMB/RWF/TC has a little seniority.

Hi Mayor old buddy. Glad to see you seem to have shaken the gloom and left the doom in the Rose garden.

Welcome back. Life's a laugh if you let it. A bitch if you don't.

Thoroughly enjoying myself living happily ever after, currently in Mexico with my face full of fresh new implants, thinking it's almost time to declare happy hour. Picked up some Hendrick's gin in Playa, some Martini & Rossi extra dry vermouth here in my jungle town and was gifted a Rancho Escondido shotglass and a needle-less syringe to measure exactly 1cc of extra juice to accompany a stuffed Manzanilla olive. I think I'll make a perfect Martini. Better throw a glass in the freezer.

I do agree though that a nice new hat would do wonders for framing your shining face.

Cheers.

Good morning all.

The good news..one bitcoin is still worth one bitcoin. The bad news is we are still near yearly ATL's. The in the "middle" story is whilst a local bottom has been found, there has not been a significant rebound..as of yet.
However...there are signs that the tide has gone slack if not changed. Most indicators are showing a clear oversold market at this point. This down turn has been driven mostly by fear imho, not fundamentals. The looming threat of the SEC moving against ICO's is a probable source along with the BCH forking debacle. These two in combination has created a perfect "short" storm that has rattled investor confidence in what is usually a historic time for growth.
I believe today is going to be quite volatile with a chance of a significant move back towards the positive side. #dyor

In between I sold bits of coin to buy myself a nice Gallien-Kruger bass amp and a Honda generator to back up the unreliable power grid in my village in Mexico.

The GK stuff is nice, but are you hip to the Phil Jones amps Jimbo?  It is counterintuitive, they are based on a 4" ported cell, you want louder/bigger, they just parallel a bunch of them up.  I played with a guy a while back that had the 2x4" shoebox.  I was understandably dubious, but that thing was unbelievable!  Give them a look for portable, seriously.

Those PJ's are nice and portable...call me old fashioned but...size matters.  I am gun shy of solid state amps..give me tubes in my head and some 10" Em's in a decently ported cab and its golden.

This little G-K has a nice warm sound with plenty of punch imho.

I have no pants or hat...wtf am I supposed to do now?

Step back and look at the bigger picture once again I suppose..

Pulling a fib retracement from September 2017 would have painted a decent picture for the last 12 months. *shrugs*  Who wudda thunk.

There is not any new information here I dont think..but I am intrigued with how support and resistance levels coincided quite well with the .618

I was making my new tentative conclusion about you... not XhomerX.

Currently in my thinking, XhomerX has very decent odds of being a real and regular kind of peep, and I recall that about less than a year ago, he became more creative with his memes, and recently moved on to hats.

Surely, anyone in these here forums might not be a real peep, so I cannot say anything with certainty... but my tentative conclusion about you has become.. micpeep is not the one real peep that s/he/it portrays himself/herself/itself to be.  Shocked Shocked   In other words, peeps reading and participating in this forum should take your supposed personal information with a considerable grain of salt.  Cheesy Cheesy   Tongue   (and maybe more reasonably consider it as a team rather than a real peep....  Embarrassed  ).
jjg..you've lost it..I personally think the Goose is the "realist" character on the Wall.

Good Grief..its coinaggeddon...head for the choppa.

All I can tell you is to buckle up and buy as much bitcoin as you can on these dips..  Its going to be a bumpy ride for the next several months as alt ICO's get pummeled by the SEC. Not sure if that is the main catalyst but it is a factor. Global markets in general are pulling back as well..so its most likely a combination of this and the bchcoin forkwar. #stronghands2019
