Hello,

I'm very interested in leonArdo, looks like great software for my purposes.

I'm wondering if it could help me automate the following scenario:

1. Set a limit buy: if price his 300 sats, buy Xbtc worth

2. As soon as buy order fills, immediately set target sells at 10%, 20%, 30%, etc.

2a. As soon as buy order fills, set stop loss at 10% loss

3.  After the price hits 5% profit, cancel original stop-loss, set new stop loss at break-even.

4.  An added bonus would have the stop-loss trail the price after it hits a certain amount of profit (ie. at 50% profit, keep the stop loss 10% below current price)

My goal would be to only have to enter the initial limit buy price and it would handle the rest automatically.  This would be so so so helpful for me.

Thanks everyone! Smiley

Hi eleazar,

Sounds great. Such strategies will be available once we implement our strategy editor. But that will only come much later in the year.

To see what is currently possible with leonArdo I suggest you check out our tutorial videos: http://www.marginsoftware.de/tutorial.html

And then you can take leonArdo for a spin by downloading the free demo version.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I like your trade strategy, this sounds good , will keep an eye out for this later in the year. But exchanges would need to support "one cancels the other" eg Bittrex OCO. to be able to have stops and buys in place simultaneously.

We are working our asses off trying to fix the memory leak. Is that the error you are talking about?

As the for the memory leak. Depending on how many pairs/bots you have open it can take about a day up to a week before the RAM runs out. If you have 16GB it might even last a month. But it's there and it's a real bitch. We have to make changes deep in leonArdo to fix it. It is nothing trivial, but we want to do it right rather than quick and not optimally. There is no good fast solution to this. Already, we have adapted thousands of lines of code. So please bear with us.

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

I was wondering if you guys would be open to open source the code? The community could help a lot in software architecture and performance fixes.

You would still have a lot of ways to monetize through strategy models Smiley

Kind Regards,
A

Hi,

purchased the bot which seems quite simple, but powerful.
However, it has crashed couple of times during the last 10 minutes.

Error related to C++ runtime library.
Please advise what to do.

Hello! I am very interested in buying the product. I am currently using the demo but I am unsure of a few things.

A couple quick questions:

1.) Where can I see my total P/L that leonArdo has made me (if anywhere)?
2.) Many bots that I have heard of automatically adjust the Statistic Interval. It does not look like leonArdo does this. So is there any advice on this? 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week?
3.) I am new to bots so I am not exactly sure on how long is too long with one strategy. If the bot continues to adjust, then technically you dont need to change your strategy?

Thanks!

No total P/L yet, just on individual buys to the next sell.

Margin Maker bot does adjust with the market, however I have different bot settings for an uptrend or downtrend. Ie- Uptrend higher buy and sell margin, downtrend lower buy and sell margin. I like the ping-pong bots for static paths and set up many for small gains. So far I have limited the bots to 1/10th of my total just to be safe but I am learning more and more. Don't put the bot on with default settings and expect wins, although it can happen for certain markets. You can also adjust the MM bot to use a longer or shorter market history.

I do check in on the bots though - I wish there was a way to auto-cancel or switch strategies when the market changes, even a timer to place a final order and kill the bot (leaving sell order) upon timer expiration.

I used the Demo for two weeks before I purchased and am very happy overall. I will not trade on the exchange website ever again. If it had the polo trollbox integrated I wouldn't even have Polo open at all.

A couple more questions...

1.) Would it be possible to get a risk profile set on leonArdo? For example, click "low risk" to see what settings would be low risk, medium, high, extreme? This would be perfect for a newb like me.
2.) If we have orders that we are holding, that we do not want leonArdo to touch, is that possible? Like I want to hold 2 BTC on a coin until it skyrockets one day, will leonArdo leave that order alone and trade with the rest of the capital I have?

Thanks!

My feedback for leonArdo.

I have been using leonArdo for one day and seems quite intuitive in the way you need to set it. It does trigger nicely and does the job.
Some cons:
- no possibility to save strategies (?);
- very basic, only two strategies implemented. As one user said, it requires too much babysitting. Whether a crypto moves away from the set boundaries, the bot does not trade any longer and level reset required.

I fully understand devs will give user to make their own custom rules, however, more "basic" strategies are needed to make the bot one level up.
Keep up with the good work!

Hi, I am planning to buy this nice product, do you plan add volume profiles? It can be very powerfull, respectively is on futures, and I suppose than can help in crypro trading also. I was using eg on SierraCharts
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/VolumeByPrice.php

thanks
