Keep the upper and lower support to maintain a consistent price with natural fluctuations between the upper and lower support levels. We will get there, even if it is in a year's time. Bad idea. Prices are best to be left to natural fluctuations and market conditions. Every action has a reaction and everything should be in balance. Artificial things like this suggestion will have a certain effect, but because it is artificial it will not be supported by fundamentals and therefore not be sustainable with an unpredictable reaction. it is in anyways not a good idea in war to publicise that you will be sending in your cavalry at a certain point and time. The "enemy" can therefore prepare, plan a counter offensive and before you know it your cavalry has been defeated and you are left exposed. Let the price take its course, it will get there eventually naturally but supported by fundamentals and not by artificial meddling. Be patient.

Yes it is like your cavalry. The first army with cavalry wins the battle, but soon other armies add cavalry and then the odds balances out again. Until all the coins that are not MP resistant dies out then there are no coins the MP can mine anymore. Poor other new alt *&^% coins that go to war without armour, as they become the hunting grounds for all the main alt coin MPs.

You cant directly mine WC in PoS phase. You can only then do it indirectly by mining other coins and exchanging those for BTC and then buy WC. This creates buy pressure. In that sense multipool is good for BC in PoS.

I decided not to be greedy with my price but to rather take less of a risk to get onto the rocket. I would rather buy my rocket ticket online and make sure I have a ticket than to stand in the queue at the launch pad and hope to get it half price at the risk of tickets being sold out before I get to the front. (a more fitting ending might be... and risk being burnt by the exhaust flames when liftoff happens)

So in a year that is 18 * $100 = $1800. Not bad at all. It makes me think of the guy that remembered he bought $27 BTC years back and was surprised that he could buy himself an apartment with it at its peak. I wonder how many stories like these will be made of BC in years to come.

Has the pools agreed to payout in WC instead of dumping for BTC?

It depends on your objective. Mintpal is quicker to be affected in the current WC market conditions and Cryptsy follows suit but with a little lag - which creates opportunities depending what you want to achieve.

And to add to that - you will either make money or lose money.

It depends on things like number of transactions. Lets take the BTC blockchain as an example. It started off in 2009 and initially the blockchain was not that large. It is now around 14GB  for the Jan 2014 bootstrap file. What is interesting is that if you load the Jan 2014 bootstrap now, after importing the blocks, the bar is just over half way and the rest you have to download, indicating that usage of BTC was almost as much in the last 3 months than in the last 4 years. I dont know if there is a new bootstrap file, but my up to date BTC block folder is 20GB in size.

If the community sees BC as being used in day to day transactions for retail , online purchases etc, the blockchain size will outpace that of BTC. It is not far fetched that if BC is used much more that BTC, the blockchain size for BC might be the size of BTC in one year from now.

Distance to the node, hardware errors, rejects, failures and several other things play a part. The pool hash rate is the actual accepted hash rate of what went through after subtracting the inefficiencies.

I sold my Exe earlier to catch the BC and WC trains. Will get back to it later with the profits from the train journey. I still believe in the coin, but it will probably take of when ASICs arrive in force.
