So supposedly this is a POS block but if we assume the .011 is transaction fees, by coincidence it managed to reward EXACTLY the same amount as a POW block? Does that seem plausible?

I just want to explain the Proof of Stake system to the best of my abilities. I will ask IPOminer.com to verify that what I say has merit, he knows very much about this system.
Your network weight is gaining regardless, and you will begin to compete with the PoW blocks more competitively. The 42 day max stake age makes it so there is your maximum weight distributed over 6 weeks, if that had been 6 days you would gather more weight faster and compete harder. This does not mean you are losing on coins because you are all competing for coin age (weight) and this will eventually be strong enough to overtake some PoW blocks.
In our testing of this coin we did not have such pentahash power, we used some rental and Bitmantech Antmining S3. I will think about forking this coin, but I have never tested to see if coin age gets reset after a fork. We did not take that into consideration during testing. We put 6 week max coin age because we know in your real world lives sometimes things come unexpected and you may have to leave your computer for up to a month and we thought it would be fair to not punish that.
If everyone would like to fork, and if other blockchain professional knows if coin age does not get reset during fork, I will give you all notice so that you can get all your coins into compiled wallets, probably 1 full day.

You know:
1. People has to understand that DEV has a real job too, so that means that he maybe only have 2 or 3 hours a day, if he has a family then maybe only 1 hour a day.
2. Coin is only 4 days old,so what can be achieved in 4 days is not a lot.
3. Community demand results too fast. You cannot expect DEV to work 12 hour a day for his coin.
4. Even 20 BTC ICO money is nothing, if you need to hire some real good developers then you pay $100 per hour EASILY!!! So he need to think smart and don't spent money on exchanges etc.
Devs are not allowed to sleep or eat. What planet are you from?  |

Only 4 btc to back at 7000 satoshi level - you know what to do guys buy cheap now I say, then stake for a long time, wait for more development, then hopefully celebrate! Accumulating more. Dev sent premine to OCminer. Lead guy of IPOminer indicated staking issue likely just needs more mature coins and weight, if not, premine is secure and devs have incentive to make this work. It was a test, a trial for the real coin later. Dev was straightforward with this. As I see it, the plans will come with the real coin.

I'm running the new wallet and staking is working nicely. Receiving 5 blocks per hour. 0 blocks for me. Coinage 24h+. Open and unlocked. Maybe it will happen eventually. |

This wallet has no indicators yet on staking. Just leave wallet open and unlocked and you should stake eventually. I have staked nine blocks so far with 268 coins in wallet.

So Im a bit confused on something. I have my miners ready to go, and I look at the the net hashrate is 5GHS of scrypt!! Then I check all the pools listed on the OP and they ALL report 0 Mhs of speed?!!? Is there another VERY populated pool I dont know about?  Also Ive looked and looked and cant find what the min stake time is. Can someone post it. Thank you Vegas I remember hearing it was 24hrs? Don't bother with mining until we hit block 4500; it's PoS only until then. How do I determine if my wallet is staking or not. Are there any indicators I can look at in the wallet to determine my wallet's status and the status of the coins in it? Normally the icon located at the bottom right shows you some info. Hover over it at it shows if you are staking assuming that function works.. Exactly, normally it does with other coins but mine gives no info. Hence my question to determine if I am doing something wrong or if it is so by design. |

There are many posts in this thread lately of people complaining about price and getting all upset because they hear duck quacking sounds while probably executing ostrich handling procedures. The point is they must recognize a duck and therefore handle it with duck handling procedures in order to be able to make a nice profit. They must not cry if they executed ostrich handling procedures and finally come to the conclusion that the animal in front of them is in fact a duck. |

How do I determine my network weight and estimated time to stake? I cannot find that indicator in the wallet.
