The wallet stakes even if its locked? Why? Can you post a bit bigger screenshot of that lock, also post the message if you hover with your mouse over the lock.

Let it go for another day and see if things resolve itself.

"mint" : 600.01100000
So supposedly this is a POS block but if we assume the .011 is transaction fees, by coincidence it managed to reward EXACTLY the same amount as a POW block? Does that seem plausible?
Just get the block explorer up then we can have a closer look at the whole chain.

I just want to explain the Proof of Stake system to the best of my abilities. I will ask IPOminer.com to verify that what I say has merit, he knows very much about this system.
Your network weight is gaining regardless, and you will begin to compete with the PoW blocks more competitively. The 42 day max stake age makes it so there is your maximum weight distributed over 6 weeks, if that had been 6 days you would gather more weight faster and compete harder. This does not mean you are losing on coins because you are all competing for coin age (weight) and this will eventually be strong enough to overtake some PoW blocks.
In our testing of this coin we did not have such pentahash power, we used some rental and Bitmantech Antmining S3. I will think about forking this coin, but I have never tested to see if coin age gets reset after a fork. We did not take that into consideration during testing. We put 6 week max coin age because we know in your real world lives sometimes things come unexpected and you may have to leave your computer for up to a month and we thought it would be fair to not punish that.
If everyone would like to fork, and if other blockchain professional knows if coin age does not get reset during fork, I will give you all notice so that you can get all your coins into compiled wallets, probably 1 full day.
As long as POS don't eventually win only after day 22

You know:
1. People has to understand that DEV has a real job too, so that means that he maybe only have 2 or 3 hours a day, if he has a family then maybe only 1 hour a day.
2. Coin is only 4 days old,so what can be achieved in 4 days is not a lot.
3. Community demand results too fast. You cannot expect DEV to work 12 hour a day for his coin.
4. Even 20 BTC ICO money is nothing, if you need to hire some real good developers then you pay $100 per hour EASILY!!! So he need to think smart and don't spent money on exchanges etc.
Devs are not allowed to sleep or eat. What planet are you from?

Can the dev get up a block explorer please?

Only 4 btc to back at 7000 satoshi level - you know what to do guys buy cheap now I say, then stake for a long time, wait for more development, then hopefully celebrate! Accumulating more. Dev sent premine to OCminer. Lead guy of IPOminer indicated staking issue likely just needs more mature coins and weight, if not, premine is secure and devs have incentive to make this work. Looking a lot safer now to me. I sent some coins to qt wallet. How do I make sure I'm set up for and am in fact staking? Thanks for helping the newbie You can refer here. Just change the conf file with emoney details. Actually, you dont need a conf file for emoney so you can skip that part. Change all references from 10K to emoney. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=942977.msg10388060#msg10388060

Excellent net hash at 27g, cost of mining way above phase 1 cost. I think this is going very well.
What is current cost of mining?

i've 90 POS blocks today. Do the coins have to mature again for 24 hours after a stake? yeap. Thanks.

It was a test, a trial for the real coin later. Dev was straightforward with this. As I see it, the plans will come with the real coin.
Quote from ann. It cannot be clearer:
I've been working on a big coin for the past month, and it's been on my mind for over a year now with all the ideas for it finally having a solid solution and plan to accomplish it. Sadly, Supcoin is not that coin. Basically, I need a coin to test some things, and that is this coin! I'm not ready to discuss my big coin project just yet (there will be a pre-ann in a couple months), but this coin is my way of making sure that the codebase I'm using is good.
So, I'm a pretty busy guy. I'm still working a lot on the coin that comes after this. However, I intend to do maintenance on Supcoin at least until that coin is released. Supcoin should ideally be trivial to maintain as I strive to write coins that don't need forks and such to fix things. However, any issues that come up I will fix. I will not be adding gimmicky features however. I might add some non-forking features eventually just to test them out on a live network, but I'm not making any promises on that.
I will not do any kind of coin swap or anything like that when I release the next coin I'm working on, however, I might offer some kind of rewards for people that held some amount at some point in time, as an additional distribution mechanism.
Anyway, I'm a developer, not a marketer or community manager or anything like that. If you are someone who could do a "takeover" of the project, then have at it! I'll be holding onto 200 SUP to reward for a successful community takeover with a leader that proves they aren't just trying to do a pump and dump (ie, after some amount of time)

Got a block finally so it works. Do the coins have to mature again for 24 hours to become eligible again?

Does the new wallet work for staking now already or will it only work after the fork? Must I use the old wallet for staking or can I use the new wallet?
Sorry for these questions that sound n00b but I am flying blind here with the wallet.
I'm running the new wallet and staking is working nicely. Receiving 5 blocks per hour. 0 blocks for me. Coinage 24h+. Open and unlocked. Maybe it will happen eventually.

This wallet has no indicators yet on staking. Just leave wallet open and unlocked and you should stake eventually. I have staked nine blocks so far with 268 coins in wallet.
Thanks for the confirmation.

My point is that you guys are posting things obvious to everyone but thinking it is some kind of revelation
Then people must stop complaining.

So Im a bit confused on something. I have my miners ready to go, and I look at the the net hashrate is 5GHS of scrypt!! Then I check all the pools listed on the OP and they ALL report 0 Mhs of speed?!!? Is there another VERY populated pool I dont know about? Also Ive looked and looked and cant find what the min stake time is. Can someone post it. Thank you Vegas I remember hearing it was 24hrs? Don't bother with mining until we hit block 4500; it's PoS only until then. How do I determine if my wallet is staking or not. Are there any indicators I can look at in the wallet to determine my wallet's status and the status of the coins in it? Normally the icon located at the bottom right shows you some info. Hover over it at it shows if you are staking assuming that function works.. Exactly, normally it does with other coins but mine gives no info. Hence my question to determine if I am doing something wrong or if it is so by design.

You guys really like calling the sky blue, don't you?
The principle is that if something walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck it is fair to conclude it probably is a duck. There are many posts in this thread lately of people complaining about price and getting all upset because they hear duck quacking sounds while probably executing ostrich handling procedures. The point is they must recognize a duck and therefore handle it with duck handling procedures in order to be able to make a nice profit. They must not cry if they executed ostrich handling procedures and finally come to the conclusion that the animal in front of them is in fact a duck.

How do I determine my network weight and estimated time to stake? I cannot find that indicator in the wallet.
