hi guys sorry for the stupid question, i've 20k minerals in my wallet since 2 days, it is sincronized and it tells me that is staking but i've not received nothing as POS yet, the time to have reward always change and not decrease, is normal?
Not normal. You sure you unlocked your wallet? Is the arrow at the bottom right green? Is your computer (wallet) online all this time?

everything you sad, wallet unlocked, arrow green: time to earn reward 49 minutes (but 30 minute ago was telling 32 minutes), wallet is synch and open now

You might just have a small piece if the network weight.

You should have done what Minerals did and limit the max hash, however controversial that may be. The big farms (700MHs+) are going to rape this coin to the bone and accumulate 80% of the coins, it will have a very poor distribution as a result and the big farms will dump their coins on the exchanges at the first opportunity. Then the coin is dead. At least the big pools and big farms will make money out of it.

And you will have to be quick to dump your premine before the big farms and pools do.

Wow, I still cant believe bittrex has not listed this coin.

C-CEX is doing a great job btw, and if push comes to shove this coin will grow and attract investors with or without bittrex and will help grow the exchanges that are helping us/MIN.

BITTREX if you read this do not allow yourselves to get involved with the politics of this coin or any coin. It will only hurt you in the end. You should stay neutral on all coins. List if they are a working coin as is MIN and if there is a strong community even if grassroots like this one.

I WILL NOT GIVE YOU MY TRADE BUSINEES IN THE FUTURE IF YOU DO NOT LIST MIN OR APPEAR TO TAKE A SIDE AND SUBJECT YOURSELF TO POLITICS!!

A boycott thread may be  next....

Yes I am happy and will give most of C-CEX my business where possible

I m going to withdraw everything and move somewhere else!

Just give Bittrex a chance to reflect on the situation and make a decision.
They have had a week? I am a bit surprised to say the least.

No it is a day. Remember they want code to be public before considering it? Code went public yesterday and there are two opposite poles they have to weigh up against each other. The one is strongly based on principles and the other to a lesser degree. Until they make a definitive decision it is premature to say anything about their character.

I'm sick of corrupt exchanges! Look at what happened to Usde, KDC, Digibyte, litebar etc.

They are still considering it, so it is not appropriate to call them corrupt. Really.

+1... this isnt helping guys... its not only bittrex...

Agreed, going on some kind of smear campaign will not help the MIN cause. Rather rise to the occasion and handle it in a mature way.

Bittrex is needed and it is an excellent exchange. I must however take my hat off to C-CEX for coming to the party and maintaining their integrity under a lot of peer pressure. C-CEX did not fold and give in to the pressure. I will therefore support CCEX a lot in the future.

Bittrex however is needed and we should try to pursade them not to give in to the peer pressure and also to maintain their integrity.

What about bittrex exchange ?

they are thinking about it still

<@bittrex-richie> Allcryptocoins: yeah we get a lot of that feedback.. like i said.. its super polarizing...
<@bittrex-richie> we either are a) pool operator bitches and part of the mafia or b) destroying crypto by setting a bad precendent.

so they do understand that it would look bad if they don't add MIN. I have no idea what is the precendent he's talking about tho..

Makes no sense to me.

i do understand what bittrex thinking, they are on confusing situation
1. if they dont add MIN, our community will say bittrex is controlled by pool operator and part of their mafia
2. if they do add MIN, pool community will say bittrex is destroying crypto by accepting MIN which they said MIN is bad example for centralized control by dev at launch

If pool operators could be trusted not to leak the source and to not break ranks by dropping the hash limits, then it could be done in a decentralised fashion. Unfortunately you just need one weak link and the whole coin POW goes down the drain. For now the only way to ensure integrity is to do it centralised, until an acceptable decentralised way can be found that would guarantee integrity.

The precedent would be that if there is something new in a coin that is part of innovation or taking crypto forward, even if it is an experiment, and a certain part of the community don't like it, and they veto the coin, then it would pave the way for selective crypto coins in future that suits only certain parts of the community. Lets say in future a new coin is launched with some method that makes pool operators redundant, then and they bitch about it, then the precedent would be there to exclude the coin from exchanges.

No, the correct way is to stick with ethics and maintain integrity and give each coin with its characteristics an equal chance on the exchanges, even if it pisses off a certain part of the community.  That piece of innovation might now be unpopular, but might just be the thing taking crypto forward a few steps and build the body of knowledge.
3431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: June 20, 2014, 05:59:20 PM
Bittrex likely does not want to touch this coin. I hold alot, but I dont think they're going to add that.

The community here is bigger than both WVS and GUE, and they got added within 1-2 days of launch.

What if Min had no POW but just some arb method to hand out coins - would Bittrex and the pool operators have felt differently?
3432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: June 20, 2014, 05:55:29 PM
Unless their is a formal communication from Bittrex to the contrary, there is a chance to be added to Bittrex. They might still be considering everything. No need to brand Bittrex before any formal communication.
3433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MCN] MonetaVerde CryptoNote based Merged mining CPU only on: June 20, 2014, 02:36:53 PM

Could you include a rich list?

Remember that CryptoNote technology makes all the coin transactions anonymous so it's impossible to make a rich list.

How does your wallet then know what the total coins in it is if it does not analyse the block chain?

We need block Explorer!

Agree. I'm working on it.

And any help would be useful!

Mineral can you answer me something please

"Outdated info, POW stage is over:

These are the only legit pools that you can mine Minerals at:

SCV (1% fee) US East (N. Virginia)
DRONE (1% fee) EU (Ireland)
PROBE (1% fee) US West (N. California)
MULE (1% fee) US West (Oregon)
REFINERY (1% fee) Asia Pacific (Singapore)
EXCTRACTOR (1% fee) South America (São Paulo)
"

If you had 6 pools charging a one percent fee, and you were the only place to go to to mine the coins for the entire POW stage. Doesnt this mean that at the end of the POW stage you had 6% of all coins??

Does this seem fair to everyone?

Please let me know as I am curious if my math is wrong. Its early so it may very well be lol

your math is bad, they got 0.01 x blocks mined in pool A + 0.01 x blocks mined in pool B + .... = 0.01 x Total number of blocks/coins => 1%

Where i am getting this from is they owned all 6 pools, Like i said not accsuing just asking to calrify it for me.

But its nice to see people get so but hurt out of me asking for an explanation lol.

So they general consensus is that Mineral ended up with 1% of the total coins? . Did anyone else end up with 1% of the total coins?

If it was run by the other pools and they all asked 1% fee, the pool operators would have ended up with 1% of the coins. It is an irrelevant expense as the 1% would have been incurred in anyways. This is exactly why the big pool operators are upset because they wanted the 1%.

You did very very bad math.
A*1%+B*1%+...+F*1%, A+B+...+F=total, how can you figured out 6%a?

well if they charged a 1% fee of all blocks found, ran all 6 pools, then 1 x 6 is 6% of total coins. even if its 1% of total coins, no one else was able to amass 1% of total coins expect them which doesn't seem "fair" .

Im not accusing im genuinely asking the Mineral devs to clarify this for me

Rather get a maths class. Dev cant do the maths for you. Where x is the total coin amount and assuming all 6 pools earned the same amount of coins: 0.01x/6+0.01x/6+0.01x/6+0.01x/6+0.01x/6+0.01x/6 = 0.6x/6 = 0.01.

Wow, that new wallet looks awesome! Congrats dev team! Smiley

Thank you!

Guys, you can also test our tipbot for this thread. Add your MIN wallet address to your sig and you should receive a whole 1 MIN Wink Lets test it out. If people are willing to donate Minerals for tipbot we can increase the tip

We are planning to launch tipbots for:
Twitter (for tweet and follow https://twitter.com/Minerals_dev. I am no twitter expert, may be you guys can suggest what is the best way to set up a twitter tipbot to get the most of it)
Reddit (no expert ether, would love to hear your thoguts as well)
Battle.net forums

This way we can spread out some Minerals and gain publicity for the coin across wider audiences

And I would be glad to hear any suggestions regarding tipbots. They are easy to implement and we could construct them in large numbers rather soon  Cool

Pls do something with the irc channel as well... a irc topbot is a nice feature Wink

irc tipbot is easy. I'm just not sure if other people in the channel would like to get spammed with wallet addresses

They wont if done properly. In IRC channel you type /msg tipbotname tipbotcommand. This opens up a private message with the tipbot where the details are displayed. Nothing is then displayed in the main channel.

BTW what is the name of the IRC channel? Couldnt find it on OP.
