The only reason people are screaming Anon is so they can get a quick pump and get rid of their bags for higher profit. That is not what this coin is about
It's not about p&d, I believe in this project (I promoted every news in twitter, also donated several times), but we need to listen to the market. You said this coin is not about anon... but it isn't about a tournament paying with dollars neither (I think it was the smarter thing to do). So, don't be stubborn. if anon is not complicated and we can make it in a few days, lets do it. I fully agree with you and although I would say go for it and do anon, it might be best to take a step back, look at the bigger picture and give the betting and tournament a chance first, which is the primary strategy of Minerals. Anon is what that market wants and will send the price through the roof, but it might cause an impact to the functionality at the tournament which Minerals cannot afford. Let the devs bag the tournament successfully and then implement the add-on anon features from 3 Aug onwards. This would be a good mid-way compromise. It is just a week from now. |

were basic aspects ready at launch - wallet, blockexplorer, website, whitepaper and/or features, etc. - or is the [ANN] promise-heavy?
have the devs delivered on their promises?
Any hidden problems -
premines?

well distributed? is there a rich list?
buggy code?
are these are hard core programmers, not "copy-paste" devs or middlemen? When bugs/fork challenge pop up, are they fixed quickly?
dev squabbles?

Is the entirte dev team anonymous -- and even if so, does it at least have a solid reputation here on bitcointalk?
How does the coin production/distribution setup provide insulation from the risk of massive miner/whale dumps? Is there an estimate out there of the max # of daily BTC trading volume that might be needed to absorb mined coins?

None of the issues you mention have raised any significant concern except the pre-mine. The dev mentioned that they need a large pre-mine in order to be able to do their schools project. The pre-mine was the only thing hampering the coin so far. The dev decided to send half of the pre-mine to a made up address a few days ago. This should alleviate some of the concerns of a dev dump. The other issue raised so far was the concern of inflation. Mining will continue in perpetuity at 1000 Pro per 5 minutes. Concerns were raised that without an end number of coins or without rewards becoming less at some point, "printing more money" will cause an inflation effect. Compare that to BTC today - imagine the effect if at current price a new 1000 BTC was added to the system with every block. Other than this PayPro is one of the few coins with identified dev team and working on plausible real life use cases which immediately places it in the top 5% of coins with future value imo. The price is low now, but once real life services starts to land, the price will follow. Best to talk to the dev about future plans, however he did mention some a few posts back that they are working towards to have implemented by Dec 2014. PayPro is therefore not pump and dump, but something to hold for the long term as and when real life services kick in. |

After re-looking this thing, perhaps it would be best to wait until after the tournament to implement anon features. There is not enough time to do it now and implementing something now introduces risk. What if anon features interferes with the betting functionality and impacts availability of functionality during the tournament?
Anon will take the value of MIN to the next level and as much as I want that to happen, perhaps focus now on getting everything 100% for the tournament as planned. You can do your research so long and then move swiftly after the tournament to implement it. I think everyone should take another look and realise that the dev team should make sure that the tournament with primary functionality is a huge success, because failure would be catastrophic. We would then also be able to see what the impact of the primary functionality and a tournament is on the price of MIN. Implementing anon now would taint that view.
Sometimes the most difficult decision is the correct one.

Guys it is unfair to blame Bittrex or any other exchange that adds a coin. The answer is sometimes right in front of you by applying good common sense and looking at the risk indicators. By looking at a few things you can make a call on the residual risk of a coin based on risk factors and then see how that fits into your risk appetite. You can then either stay away or risk it all and the alt-coin exchanges currently just provide a vehicle to cater for the whole of the spectrum of risk appetite. You don't get it. Anon is a pump and dump. Sure it may rise sharply but it will fall even harder. In realty no one ready cares about it. It just the 'newest' thing on the block. Same as color coins, country coins and now anon. It will be pumped and dumped into oblivion
Minerals has found a niche. Stick to it and we will succeed instead of following the p&d crowd

Do you have the contact from the 3rd party dev? Perhaps he can contact our Dev and talk about the best anon implementation. Instead of using a poll, I think PR can put another address to his signature... Lets say: Address 1 - Donation for tournament Address 2 - Donation for Anon I had donated before, but I will donate for anon 3k. We can set an objetive, like collecting 100k, if we collect that amount within a week, we would use it for anon, if not, will be used for another thing (or the # of minerals required to develope Anon). Agrreed. just one correction - real life use is implemented, tested and working. And we have huge tournament that will pour fresh blood onto this project. Just a question, since betting is implemented quite well now, is the next step the anon? In the voting it is on second place, so perhaps..? We can implement anon but what sort of anon people want? IS there any working anon we can put into Minerals? A poll is an option. It is important to not lose focus of the main objective of the coin in the process. It must be understood that anon will be to generate the required platform in volume, price and interest on which to build the rest of the RL services. Dota 2 is very important and must stay the main objective after SC. However, you need to look at your resourcing. If the main team will be doing anon development, then Dota 2 will probably be pushed out with a week or 2 which is not the end of the world as you will have SC up and running until Dota 2 goes live. If the main dev team will stay on Dota 2 then development of that can continue and you can outsource anon development. Option 2 will then keep to the Dota 2 delivery target. Either way, it would mean a lot to the coin's visibility, volume and price if you do implement anon now and it will attract more people to the main objective of Minerals which is the e-sports. |

I have problem with my wallet. One hour ago I send coins. Transaction status still are unconfirmed. On status page net hashrate show me 0 and total volume didn't increase. Is there any problem with wallet or coin? My wallet version is v.1.1.0.0. Wallet is sync, connections number is 12.

Net hashrate is 0 as there is no more PoW mining Does that mean there wont be more miner quick-dumps past this point? There will always be more miner dumps but not so big as the first dumps. There are miners that religiously dump in the first 24-48 hours and they are happy with their 10-20% over cost of mining. Then there are the whales and P&Ders that did not necessarily mine but that drive the price up and then dump down. This group is after the 100-200% profit. This group will move on to the next coin when their objective is met. Then there are miners that did not sell on the first rise but hold out in the hope that the price increases a lot. Lets assume cost of mining is 500 sats for a coin, the 2nd group of miners are in the green and will remain in the green as long as price is above the cost of mining. At some point though, if real life services take too long to be implemented or if the general view is that a price recovery is not likely, or if there is a new hot opportunity with another coin launch, those miners will dump at whatever price over the 500 sats and take their delayed profits. The bag holders that bought at the peak, the long term believers and the holders that do not care if they lose money but that is willing to take the risk that a real life service will be worth a lot will be left to implement and wait for real life services. If the dev team is quick and strikes gold with a sought after real life service then great, otherwise the volumes and price will trickle down accompanied by desperate dumping until an eventual delisting. The answer is therefore in the implementation of sought after real life services with quick delivery times of those services by an agile and competent dev team. It is the only way and remember that 1 week in crypto = 1 year in real life. |

If you have been around the block a few times you wil recognise the patterns. Put the price graph on "1 day", '1 week" or "all" and see the graph fits all the other coins. The ride is over. The peak for Judge was 2300. It is now on the downward slope and the P&Ders have moved on, but there will be the occasional mini P&D. It is now up to the devs, bag holders and long term believers to implement the 6+ month plans to get attention again and maintain price and trading volume to get it back up to 2300 and beyond if possible. Seems like Judge has reached it plateau on 2000. I wondered how high it would go. What are you guys planning to prevent the price graph from following most other alt-coins from here which is normally a gradual downward slope?
EDIT: I see the plans are covered in the previous poster's link. I hope it is enough to keep the volume and price momentum going.
