IIRC, shapeshift.io had "Clam to Btc" conversion and vice versa but unfortunately they were hacked and though they're back, they're still missing a lot of altcoins but when they do add back clams, it would take you less hassle to convert coins back and forth. Until then you're going to have to use traditional exchanges like Poloniex or Bittrex.
142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quick question PLEASE read fast on: April 23, 2016, 03:14:54 AM
Hello everyone I am new to BTC but I have a Bitgo wallet and was exchanging AGC to BTC the guy sent me BTC about 20 minutes ago but it says pending?

Is this normal or am I getting scammed?

So can you tell us you was getting scammed or you can get your btcs? Maybe in the future, we decide to use or not to use bitgo wallet with your answer.

Probably scammed. And now he is shaming and don't dare to respond.

Look at the date of the first post.  Roll Eyes And they already posted the TX ID which was confirmed LONG AGO.

But don't worry, I am not going to report because its useless and all that would happen is I'd lose my good reports percentage.
143  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Seals With Clubs-"SEE OPPONENT HOLE CARDS" on: April 23, 2016, 02:48:29 AM
If this was possible, OP wouldn't need to sell this software, they could use it themselves to cheat and win much more than what they're demanding for it. This is just another con attempt like one of those "money making method" is what it is.
144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: April 23, 2016, 02:38:07 AM
6-12 hours   Grin
There was a time when I could do that too, I use to play like that everyday but not anymore since I am busy with work and other things, I usually now only play at weekends and that too for 2-4 hours. It also depends on how long your streak lasts, one tends to play more if they continue winning and that's not easy to do every time.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Idea for new dice game ? on: April 23, 2016, 02:32:17 AM
All you can do is to make or find someone to make it from scratch, use better UI, less house edge, faster rolls and last but not the least a lot of promotion and giveaways to attract crowd's attention. It'd be hard but you can create a space for yourself if you do it right.

As for the bitsler mentioned above, haven't tried it yet but I see they're accepting 0 confirmation deposits? Don't know why anyone would do this, that's like asking to get robbed.

Just be active on the forum, reply only where necessary and when you have something to add and if you continue doing this, your activity will get increased with time, thereby turning your rank from newbie>Jr.member>member and so on.

More details on this can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0
148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: unconfirmed transaction on: April 22, 2016, 02:44:15 AM
Yes this is the transaction, I'm ignorant to all this as I
Haven't sent or received Bitcoin in a few years. I was asked by 247exchange to pay them for a transaction that I wanted tmhave converted to euro, when I did this here I am, also could someone please tell me how I should have paid fees as I thought they were automatically taken out when I sent the btc

Thanks
Which wallet are you using? Most modern wallet do automatically add a fee to all the transaction and don't allow sending one without a fee. When you send the transaction there should be a field in your wallet which says Transaction Fee, make sure to add at-least 0.0001 BTC/KB to your transaction or else it will take forever to confirm and in some cases, not confirm at all.

This transaction of yours: https://blockchain.info/tx/d47769ff46c9c429a3d5dba4fe2a24665f6d55e3f0903a320f533cd6bff47c44 isn't yet dropped, so wait a little longer and it might just go through, although don't hold your breath. It says "High Priority" probably due to the age of the coins.
149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Changelly.com legit service ? on: April 22, 2016, 02:29:09 AM
I for one only heard of them last week in a thread, where they were mentioned as a substitute to shapeshift, to which I disagreed but other than that I haven't heard anything bad about them but the guy above seems to be having some problems, though I am sure it is just a temporary issue which should be sorted out soon.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me why Satoshi Nakamoto didn't spend a Satoshi from his 1 Mio BTC on: April 22, 2016, 02:23:24 AM
how do we know he didn't mine a lot of BTC to an unknown address during the early days and is spending them gradually?
This is exactly what I think happened, the coins which are untouched were attached to his identity and for him to become anonymous it was vital that he didn't touch those but.. he invented it, sure enough he must have mined a whole lot of it(even more what's there in his addresses) to other addresses and kept them aside and he must have sold a lot of them too when the price went up.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever missed the chance of getting bitcoin at cheaper price? on: April 22, 2016, 02:15:51 AM
I wasn't lucky enough to come to know about bitcoin when it was dirt cheap but just the last year the price was hovering around $200 mark and did buy some of it but I wish I had bought more, since whatever was bought then would have doubled this year.

I wonder if there is an altcoin which has a bright future that no one is paying any attention to right now.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bet with your Espers ! ESP sportsbook on: April 22, 2016, 02:09:27 AM
Bet with your Espers!
please chose any upcoming pick from nitrogensports.eu
My Espers wallet : ESDB3zeR67RCddYh6R22TpprMb7VT2Tjqd
please send Espers to my wallet, show transaction id here and odds that was given on nitrogensports.eu (i will verify this)
Please post your ESP wallet for payout.
all the winning bets will be payed out in 1 hour once the match is over.
No perlays, only single bets. Max bet at the moment 100,000,000 Espers
Happy betting
First I don't get what ESPERS is? Am assuming to be an altcoin.
Why choose you when we can exchange it to btc or other altcoin that is supported in other popular sportsbook and bet it on match in which we want to.
Also you are newbie I dont think that you are grabbing up some eyes on your thread.Just a tip:- You can give a little bi5 higher odds on matches  Wink
I could give a better odds by 5% than nitro.
only ESP altcoin accepted
why do you only accept ESP altcoin? even all the people do not have this coin. but I see the rate was quite big 100,000,000 Espers = 1 BTC I do not know if it was true or not, but rate is so great
I'd like to put this offer on the table:
1 ESP for 1/2 of 1 satoshi.
So for example instead of 100,000,000 = 1 BTC, I'd like to offer 200,000,000 = 1 BTC
Just simple trust. You can call me on the phone, take my address down, add me on facebook, find me on twitter, while doing this.
I have 500,000,000 ESPER and will accept 2.5 BTC for it. So even if you sold it at 1 satoshi, you'll have doubled your profit.

All that for 2.5 BTC.
Is it not listed on any exchange yet? It sounds like a great offer but if it isn't listed anywhere then there is no way of selling it or making any profit from it, if there was, you wouldn't be selling it for half a price here, would you? Or is it because there are no buyers for it?

How people will trust a newbie? Also as its not bitcoin this thread should be on altcoin section.
Yes, I would have reported it but some of my good reports were marked as bad and that lowered my accuracy and hence I don't report anything now.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably fair dice - real or bulshit ? on: April 22, 2016, 02:01:05 AM
Provably Fair means that they can give us a proof that they are fair. That means they maybe unfair but they have a proof that they are fair. But since there is no independent organization that oversees "provably fair" I think provably fair itself is a bulshit.

It doesn't work like that, I am independent and can (and have) looked at PrimeDice's provably fair system for instance. I am quite satisfied it is robust, and I have verified several games that I played there. However, the provably fair only proves the games that I verified were fair, not every single game. .....................
hi
all the games/bets a player will verify are provably fair and the ones he does not could be still not provably fair? thats what you are saying? thx
He is saying that for you to be sure that you were not cheated, it is necessary that you verify your bets, any site can say that they're provable fair, same thing happened with dicebitco.in, they said they were but when some bets were verified it was found out that they manipulated the rolls.

So all he is telling you is that unless you verify your rolls, provable fair doesn't mean anything.
154  Economy / Services / Re: Need some ppl on: April 21, 2016, 03:40:41 AM
I am sure no matter how low it is some newbies will not think twice before doing this, my only advice to who ever is thinking of doing this for whatever price is to have the money escrowed before hand or you might not get paid anything afterwards.

New forum strugles to get discussions thats why he may asking some help.
That is true but the price being offered for the amount of service will only invite spammers, not the people you'd want in your forum.
155  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: walletlookup.com - ALL WALLET BALANCES IN ONE PLACE on: April 21, 2016, 03:30:51 AM
Great service, definitely very useful if you have lots of altcoins and don't want to open their wallets one after the another to check their balances or go visit block explorer one by one to do the same. I was looking for something similar since I have lots of paper wallets and its hard to keep track of how much balance is in them.
156  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Transaction Outputs on: April 21, 2016, 03:18:55 AM
I just made my first (receiving) transaction with electrum v. 2.6.4.  Smiley

From the history tab, right click on the only transaction, click details. I see 2 inner windows: Inputs 1, Outputs 8.

The input address i guess is where the btc i received came from. The output addresses why are they 8? One of them, the second one is marked green and is my receiving address with the correct btc amount i received. The other 7 what are they?  Huh They all have various btc amounts and are unrelated to me.  Huh
Who ever sent you coins also sent coins to other addresses in that same transaction too, it is normal to do that to save the transaction fee. You can also do that, if you want to send coins to different addresses in a single transaction, go to "Tools>Pay to many" and you can add as many addresses you want there.

The format to follow is this; "Address, Amount"
For example:

1abcdefgh, 0.001
1Someone, 0.01
Etc.
157  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Shapeshift coming back on: April 21, 2016, 02:50:58 AM
Shapeshift.io is back, but there are only 2 coins for exchange at the moment, BTC and Ether, I hope they can allow us to exchange multiple altcoins soon Cheesy

Yes BTC↔ETH is the only one available for exchange for now, I think they must be doing security checks of all the other wallets before putting them on for business and they might remove some of the lesser used one and maybe add a few new ones.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably fair dice - real or bulshit ? on: April 21, 2016, 02:22:20 AM
Provably fair is only there to check that the result of the roll wasn't tampered with in any way, you can use third party verifiers(mentioned below) to check your rolls and to learn more about how the provably fair works. As far as their making money is concerned, it is the universal truth that in the end the house always wins.

159  Economy / Gambling / Re: 20 BTC investment into gambling site on: April 20, 2016, 06:31:15 AM
Its a silly thought because with 20 btc you could only offer 0.2 max profit assuming the house edge is 1% and also you will need some funds for the site and game development , funds for promotions as well and that cost alot. This is not something that you could achieve even with 50 btc and even if you could, im sure the site will be another average sites around here that has almost no player
You could make a moneypot app/site? That way you don't have to have hugeany bankroll and the funds can be used to make the site and promotions, think 20 btc would be enough for that, might still be better than investing in bankrolls.
160  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Stolen BITCOIN From BLOCKCAIN Wallet on: April 20, 2016, 06:23:51 AM
Your only fault was using a web wallet to store your bitcoins. End of story. Whatever happened after that was going to happen sooner or later, this isn't the first time someone has lost coins in a web wallet by their doings or the company's. Only thing you can do now is, learn from your mistake, use a desktop wallet and cold wallet for larger volume.
