941  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maximum Control of Your Own Destiny When Gambling on: September 16, 2015, 04:27:56 AM

Do you agree that poker gives a gambler the greatest possible control over the outcome?

Em. It does if you compare it will all the other forms of Gambling which are all based completely on luck whereas Poker does have a slight skill advantage and also with some hands you know the outcome already, for example, you make a Royal Flush and after that you can bet an Elephant because no matter what, you know you can't lose.

In the spectrum of controlling your own destiny, isn't the correct ranking:

Poker > Sports Betting > Blackjack > Dice > Lotteries

How do other people rank them?

I'd rank the same but after sports betting, I'd put all of them in the same category:

Edit: I think Horse Racing should make a place between Sports Betting and all the Casino based games? Based on a Horse/Jockey's history, experts can still predict the outcome to a certain extent, same as Sports betting.

Poker > Sports Betting > Horse Racing > Casino Games.

943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How we can make bitcoin exchange more easy? on: September 15, 2015, 06:06:16 AM
I think it's pretty easy and verification procedures are necessary for legal trades otherwise the exchange might get closed for illegal practices which is why they're required to ask for KYC Documents from all the users and I don't have a problem with that. If we want to get Bitcoin a legal status worldwide then some restrictions on it will be imposed and one of those include no more anonymous buying and selling. In-fact more licensed exchanges will make it more easy to buy/sell BTC for average Joe.
944  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any decent ways to gain interest off your Bitcoin? on: September 15, 2015, 05:44:22 AM
To earn any sort of interest you'd have to invest it somewhere and right now there isn't anything worthy enough to trust, all the companies which looks trustful might end up scamming after they have acquired enough funds, so my advice to you is just keep it safe and wait for the price to go up. You can try lending in the subforum but then again it is risky and one bad loan might put a real dent to your savings so far.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most profitable type of gambling? on: September 15, 2015, 05:31:01 AM
I'm not much of a gambler myself, but when I gamble I play poker. Poker can be very profitable, but it is very time consuming as well. Betting and casinos,  are not my type. so, what's your opinion on what could be more profitable?
Poker and sport bets I think is the most profitable.

I agree, Poker and Sports betting seems to be the most profitable but its easier said then done, Poker takes a lot of time to perfect and which requires sitting on money table and playing a lot of hands and same is with Sports betting, people rush into it thinking it's easy money but it's not, it  requires a lot of experience and teams study but if one is ready to put in the extra effort then they will surely be profitable in the long run imo. Also in my view playing Poker at face to face tables is much more real and profitable than the online ones because at online Poker you can't read people's face expression and you can't see the subtle hints they make when they're bluffing so it is more difficult to win at online Poker.
946  Economy / Gambling / Re: most populous poker site?? on: September 14, 2015, 03:41:32 AM
If I speak the truth there isn't one that can be said to be the most populous at the moment, all the current running ones seems to get crowded when they host free-rolls but not so much otherwise. This could also be due to the fact that some of the sites are not accepting players from US.

Another possibility is to fund a Neteller account with Bitcoin, then fund a Pokerstars account with Neteller. Not every country can do this.
Otherwise, I think the biggest "pure" Bitcoin poker community is over at sealswithclubs.

Can you fund a Neteller account directly with Bitcoins, if yes, how about converting the funds back to BTC? I'll have to look into this, I guess if the funds can be converted back and forth to Neteller and BTC without the need of a third party/exchange then there are a lot of sites where Neteller is accepted.
947  Economy / Gambling / Re: Difference between Straight & Parlay on: September 14, 2015, 03:29:15 AM
I make parlay bets every now and then, just for fun, you don't lose too much money if you lose the parlay but if you happen to get lucky you can win a lot of money with very little investment, I did won a 8 match parlay once and earned a good amount of money. But it's not easy so I don't know if all Pro Gamblers go for Parlays, but there are some matches where you almost know the outcome, a big team/player playing against a small one and the odds for the favorite one are generally almost non-existent, so what you can do is find a bunch of matches that fall in this category and parlay them together and you can get decent odds.

950  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: September 13, 2015, 04:07:37 AM
still the best dice game,ever..
After 12 hours still havent got my withdrawal very disappointed .

Due to the recent giveaway it might have happened that a lot of people withdrew a lot of BTC in a very short duration and which is why the Hot Wallet might have gotten empty as suggested above by Micro. 12 hours is a long time but be rest assured you'll get your funds as PD is the most trusted BTC Dice site there is, see if you can find a Mod in the live chat and convey this message there as right now Micro and Stunna seems to be offline.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Berto: easy money? on: September 13, 2015, 04:00:18 AM
Do you imagine this match is fixed and mayweather lose  Shocked

It is going to start let's see who wins.

I don't think Mayweather will fix this fight to put a bad mark on his career of wins I think it will another long fight with him dancing in each round and the end decision will be in his favor unless of-course Berto can do something extraordinary and KO him but I really doubt that he'll be able to do that. And remember if this fight was fixed and He was about to go down then we would have seen some better odds for Mayweather.
952  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIR GLOBAL POKER WITHOUT LIMITS!!!! on: September 13, 2015, 03:37:32 AM
Today all the major poker rooms promoted world can not ensure 100% integrity of the cards. Many people complain about the unfair distribution of both large and small in the poker rooms. Now it is no secret that almost all online casinos, tighten up distribution algorithm, create bots with a large percentage of crossings with weak combinations, etc. + Fixed delays in payments due to intermediaries associated with fiatnymi currencies.

We want to create the poker room with the possibility of checking distribution. Each player will be able to satisfy himself that neither the server nor the one of the players can not know the card rivals. All this will be achieved at the expense of hash encryption and cryptography. In fact we will give a 100% guarantee with honesty server + any delays in payments due to the use of Bitcoin and laytkoin.

The purpose of this topic to see if you like this idea, you would play on this poker room instead raspiarennyh with a chance to be cheated. Our team will be very grateful to you for your opinion on this topic. If you find this subject perspective we are happy to bring this project to reality.

This is something people have expressed their concern about on this forum as well, there were couple of threads before discussing on the same topic but I think no solution was found. So if you can really come up with a way which assures people of that then that's something which will be really welcomed by the BTC Poker players but do remember there are a very few people who are actual poker players here, most are free-rollers and they don't really care about all that.

I say go for it and add a Poll with Go/No-Go options and see what community really thinks about the idea.

954  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN.ps ___ ✔✔✔ $35 Free Bonus - no deposit required ✔✔✔ ___ on: September 12, 2015, 05:05:08 AM
12 hours now and not a word from cs or anyone about it.

I even sent them documentation of my drivers liscense yesterday morning before I completed the rollover and it says pending.

Those look like they were taken in a mobile browser. BTW where are you from? Your username is kind of confusing as it hints that you're from Boston and according to their terms and conditions the bonus is not allowed to players from US. Anyway, since you have provided all the proofs and submitted your document and as you said it says pending then let's just wait a bit more and see what they have to say.

956  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitcoin poker site question on: September 12, 2015, 04:43:30 AM
I think a number of poker sites have already became available to btc poker players like casinojack and others, but I might be wrong.

If you are in the US and want to play poker for money, I would suggest trying to play poker for money using tor.  When you log in through tor make sure before you go on whatever website you would want to gamble on, make sure that you go on yahoo first... check what country they have you listed at at first and if its outside the US, you're good to go... if not, just reset your ip settings on tor and try it again until they have you listed as outside the US.

Good luck!  Cool

That should be not recommended at all. Websites can detect if a user playing at their site is using some sort of shield to hide his true IP and if they find out that someone is using Tor or other such services, they might confiscate the user's funds until he's able to provide proof that he's not playing from a country from which the players are prohibited to play, such as US and those proofs may include user IDs etc. It's best to avoid such sites which do not allow players from your country to avoid any complications later.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 12, 2015, 04:32:41 AM
Yes it was a best performance from England team. They have come back very nicely and now they are in a position to win this series.

I have to admit I was wrong about England, they came back really well, I think the Match yesterday showed true potential of England team and this match they bowled better than all the other Matches, if Maxwell and Bailey hadn't put up a great partnership, the Australian score would have been much less. Having been said that I'd still choose Australia for the finals because they're going to come back even harder, they're stronger team with deep batting line up and they have better bowlers which is where I think England is lacking.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stress test is underway - Watch your fees. on: September 11, 2015, 05:40:12 AM
ohh no.. so much spam to send and the network is not confirming it all in the first block.  the horror.. the horror.

nothing to see here.  business is usual.  only spammers have issue and complain about this.  the resilient bitcoin network is dealing with spam properly.  as for the backlog.  it should just be dumped.

For those you might be in a hurry to get a confirmation it is a pain in the ass. Ignoring that won't make the problem magically go away.

Is it over or still going on? I sent various transactions in last 10 hours with regular fee and they all got confirmed normally, I just recently made some transactions (like an hour ago) with same amount of fee and they got through in normal amount of time as well. It was not like that in last stress test where some of my transactions were stuck for almost an hour. I think this one is not as powerful as the last one was.

But thanks for letting me know, I'll add more fee in the next ones just to be safe.

Are you from one of the countries which are valid for the bonus? Also, it be a good idea to read the other terms and conditions on that page prior to claiming any bonus.

4. This bonus is valid for residents from UK, Germany and Austria.

What are you talking about?

I completed the rollover completely. It says completed on the bonus page.

My balance is 1 btc nothing to do with the rollover

Can you post a screenshot of that page which shows that you have completed the wagering requirement? If it says complete then the funds should be allowed to be withdrawn instantly. Not sure but I think they might ask you to provide credentials.
