501  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Bitcoin Stolen on: January 31, 2016, 05:59:38 AM
BTC   2.49827775   1N1mvkuYUW5UHNBVEaZVjcQKVC5KqK948j   2016-01-27 22:39:38   COMPLETE: 8e76ce5192ece0e16779d50d0150c5122295a1a0db75cf15da969c713803ca68

Can anyone please tell me where this bitcoin went this was what was stolen from me and my API was disabled ..

I know it was not a lot and the guys at poliniex know I was hacked but they will not give it back. What a piddly amount of coin not to give back I was hacked through there exchange after trading there a year and they will not even get back a portion of it.

Let me tell ya something I loved Poloniex charts but you can bet one thing you get hacked your loss even if they know or think it was from a link in the troll box ...

I talked to most of the people there and it is like sorry been nice taking your money on trades we know we got and issue with spamming of malicious links but sorry bye.

I have sit on this a week lost 1000. never said a word I thought maybe Id get some back zip not any ... I am told that that transaction went to and exchange in another country.

can anyone tell me where it went I will give half of it to anyone who can help me recover it ..

Thanks you for any help ..

That transaction has multiple outputs and even after that it has various, so I don't know if there is anyway to know where the money was sent, the hacker or whoever must have probably mixed the coins by now, so there isn't any chance of getting it recovered.

There's someone else also having some issues here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1346559.0

I wonder if Poloniex is the next Cryptsy.

Can you add more proofs, screenshots of your chat to support and/or any other info you have.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 31, 2016, 05:48:55 AM
It was raining right from the start of this innings. It has got a bit heavier now and has stopped play. Wrong time for New Zealand to lose a wicket, but the good news for New Zealand is that they are still ahead according to D/L method. The par score was 202/5, New Zealand are ahead by 8 runs.

Yes, this is bad News for Pakistan. If the match had continued, they might have had a chance to grab a few more wickets and put more pressure, since there were still 80 odds runs left to be scored but now, if the match continues, the overs and runs will be reduced and it will be much easier for NZ to chase down a smaller total with 5 wickets still in hand.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: joy and sorrow you, since know bitcoin? on: January 31, 2016, 05:38:58 AM
No sorrow so far, almost got scammed by master-p last month but thankfully he came to his senses and paid to most. Other than that all joy.
504  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Earn btc using a bitcoin search engine no referrals on: January 30, 2016, 04:03:19 AM
now i must confirm, i am successful withdraw from this site. today i am sent request, and now i have one transaction in that amount
also I was not sure what it is, and make another withdraw and receive coin instantly.

How are they paying? Direct or Faucetbox?

I also had the problem of the searches not increasing.  Maybe I was doing them too fast.  How long do people wait between searches?

I stuck on 47.45 bits, my balance amount isn't increasing, maybe do i need to wait some time? And i would like to know how it pays too, direct to Faucetbox would be nice.

Maybe it is to be used just as a search engine, meaning use it normally when you really need to search something and not search just for the sake of making pennies.

And I think (not sure) that they pay directly when your balance is 80 bits, cmiiw.
505  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: January 30, 2016, 03:58:02 AM
i think is Bitcoin is safe in my opinion as compare to paper money because no one is stolen your money, you can purchase goods in safe mode
I think the risk of loss due to theft, always there. There are many kinds including a scam site or hacker
they are very clever, send malware into your computer and steal passwords, all the contents of your wallet, will be lost

Actually bitcoin in itself is very safe and the keeping of it is safe also but because it is anonymous to some extent, scammers/thieves/hackers find it an easy target and that makes people think its not safe. But as it gets popular and reputable services start to accept it then these problems will be solved.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: January 30, 2016, 03:54:42 AM
Bitcoin is connected to black market and others things heavy, that fiat were connected and still but people think they created those coin and is a ponzi thing to steal your money, besides those we may say the oldest people doesnt know work with technology soo they avoid it.The others well they dont wanna to search or know about bitcoin ,as they dont believe on it ,soo lets say that are several reasons to dont use bitcoin but is when you dont care about what may happen tomorrow for me is the same.Bitcoin has bringeg huge investors into it ,the fact it has already 7 years and a value of 400 dollars for 1 btc should make people start to search about it atleast.

I don't believe that is entirely the reason for people to not use bitcoin but it maybe a part, people who are outsiders to the bitcoin world read news and every now and then there are bad news associated with bitcoin, which includes scams or thefts, like the recent Cryptsy one and that puts them a little on the back foot.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Donald Trump made comments on bitcoin? on: January 30, 2016, 03:38:01 AM
I don't think he will comment anything on Bitcoin prior to elections as the effect of it can go both ways and he wouldn't want to risk that. But I am sure he knows it and probably owns it.
508  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: January 30, 2016, 03:21:04 AM
Says that my bet has been paid out but on blockchain.info wallet I have nothing!

Sorry we could not find any blocks or transactions matching this hash

Check in another block explorer like blockr.io or blocktrail.com, I have seen similar issues recently with blockchain.info, if other block explorers say similar then contact the support with your Bet ID.
509  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoin Escrow on: January 29, 2016, 03:36:19 AM
Looking at his recent history, he was probably looking to do some trades and the other person asked him to use escrow and he's not aware of what it is.

Escrow is a mediator OP, who makes sure that both the parties make good on their part of the deal.
510  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cheated at betinbtc.com on: January 29, 2016, 03:33:33 AM
After seeing your thread just checked with site, the support system is very bad and their is so many suspicious is their in this site , how can you deposit so much big amount in any site without check about the site reputation, their are so many good sites who are running genuine.

I get that. Done a lot of online play and never seen anything like this before. I probably can't get my money back, but I can cost them a lot more than 0.9 BTC by publicizing this.

I think its best if you move this thread or make a new one in scam accusations section and add proofs, screenshots, transaction id, email to support etc. to back up your claims because this looks like it maybe another scam, considering they haven't responded in a week.
511  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain Beta Wallet ! Have Anyone Tried? on: January 29, 2016, 03:28:49 AM
It is very unstable OP at the point, read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1344049.new

I have seen a similar post on reddit too I think, so if you must try it, do it with small amount of coins.

Also, I think (not sure) there isn't a way to export the private keys in the new one cmiiw.

513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price go up or down over the next year? on: January 29, 2016, 02:56:14 AM
No body can predict the future, it may go high or low but the chances are it will go much higher over the course of next few years but these are all just speculations of-course.

I expect it to at-least go above $1000 this year.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe are these "so called" Bitcoin Banks? on: January 29, 2016, 02:27:24 AM
-snip-
About the first part quoted by you and the links given by you in another thread I can tell that the first (for that what I was able to understand without registering on that site) is really a kind of online financial intermediary. But with high risk. A bank never can exist having as a field of its acting only a segment of the market like it is this case. To not mention the fact that this activity to which they are connected is very particular. They borrow money to the traders and this kind of activity is very risky. As for the remaining two, these have nothing to do with the banks. They only make possible the contact between two parties. Who want bitcoin to give and who want bitcoin to take. The site have any kind of responsibility about the lose of the invested bitcoin. Any bank in any mock of the world act in this way. And that is the most important the money at every bank are protected from the loss until big amounts from the State. In any kind of the above three no one who save or invest is protected from the loss of its savings or invested money.

As for the share of my opportunities I am clear in my post. Who is interested pm me. Not all but two of those are reflinks and reflinks are not allowed to be put openly. I had 10 days ban for this account and close of another (of my wife) only for a reflink published in one post. Anyhow I have an update. One of the above three opportunities only yesterday was disappeared (but I had my profits from that). Things this foreseen even in my previous post. But the other two continue to be ok. And have found another one which have almost two years online and give some particular warranties which made me to invest even in this.

Well thats all the users need to know that these are just Ponzis with a fancy scripts and graphics, it might be that you were able to get profits or that you bounced out prior to them running but a lot of people must have lost a lot of money when the one you mentioned above disappeared. Which is the whole point that they're not safe.
515  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Bitcoin Slots on: January 28, 2016, 04:25:29 AM
Thanks guys, but these are casinos you are talking about.
Im asking about the slots games.

It all depends on personal preference and generally you consider the best where you end up winning some coins, these are the most famous Bitcoin slots according to this review:

My personal favorites are, Book of Pyramids and Greedy Goblins.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sport To Gamble on: January 28, 2016, 04:11:26 AM
Tennis is good esp when odd is like x20 or x30.
I remember one time I placed .001 BTC, luck on the receiver, came back @ .025. But it happen only once.

That much odds can only be seen when there is a match between an established player and a new player or someone very low seeded and it rarely happens that new player wins.

The best sport to gamble is soccer, there a much games available to bet on.
And also the odds on soccer game are pretty good on most sites.
Soccer is mostly predictable, so most of the times you can make a good profit from it.

To each its own, you know soccer so it seems easy to predict for you but that will not apply to others. Although, I doubt its that predictable to even the known ones, I find it extremely unpredictable.
517  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which bitcoin sportsbook? on: January 28, 2016, 04:00:43 AM
Can you recommend me to any good sportsbook that accepts bitcoins? I've heard of DirectBet, but they don't provide good odds compared to say, fiat sportsbooks. Plus, I have to pay for transaction fees for every bet.

Ones with live betting are preferred, and also a low/no withdrawal fee would be great  Smiley (Also, good odds is a big plus!)

I have to disagree with you on DirectBet odds being low, I recently was betting on Australian Open and I checked out 3 of the biggest bitcoin sportsbooks and found that DirectBet had better odds amongst all of them. And they have already mentioned that they have a play wallet for live betting.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe are these "so called" Bitcoin Banks? on: January 28, 2016, 03:38:57 AM
As for investments online these have nothing to do with the banks. I haven't heard any kind of bitcoin online bank who take bitcoin to everyone promising interest for them and give them to the others in order to have bigger interest from the lasts (which one must be so big that can do the bank to earn itself and pay the interests to the firsts).

I mentioned it on the first page, see this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325006.msg13528854#msg13528854

I have heard and I am user (and earner of good profits) of sites which take your bitcoins, work with those and make profit for those and for the person who give money.

As for being secure no one can be never sure about investing online (every kind of investing). So who invest must know that exist the risk that one day the website may disappear and with it even the money/bitcoin invested on it. So invested doing all the possible analysis and deciding case by case. Anyhow there are factors which give much security (always having in mind that are online opportunities). I have three of those from which I am earning very good profits since three months. Who is interested to give a look pm me.

Mind sharing it publicly? I am sure if there are any legit investment opportunities people will love to benefit from those.

A new "so called" bank, just popped up: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1337408.0

Thank god people can see its a scam attempt right away.

519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 28, 2016, 03:20:21 AM
Match is delayed due to rain and which means when it starts, if it ever starts, there will be less overs which would work for more New Zealand's advantage, not that they need any. Reports say that the next inspection is in half an hour and we'll know then if we have a match or not.
520  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info support is saving my ASS currently (januar 2016 ongoing +) on: January 28, 2016, 03:09:32 AM
Well this is interesting, so you provided them your PASSWORD and the time when you think you created the wallet and right now they're running that password against ALL the wallets created on that day? I don't know how I feel about that.

I was under the impression that Blockchain.info NEVER asks for your password.

https://blockchain.info/wallet/security-recommendations

Although, I understand that this is a special case where you don't remember the identifier of your-OWN-wallet?? It is your own right? You're not trying to find the identifier of your brother/friend/etc's wallet of which you happen to know the password?

since i am from germany i created my password with german letters (ü and ß) and my guess was, that blockchain can not find these characters, when testing them against identifiers

and apparently i was right: alyson told me, she talked with jade and mandrik and it seems german letters are not supported in their backend. they are running some testings and will keep in touch with me. which was on monday

which leads us to this experience i am currently writing: not only does the blockchain support is currently helping me retrieving my lost identifier, but we apparently also discovered a possible improvement to be made for their backend to succesfully support people with a similar problem as mine

as of now: if you create a password for your wallet DO NOT USE GERMAN LETTERS (or maybe even other "non regular" letters)
since your identifier can not be found this way!!

And this same password works well with the other wallet you created, which you mentioned have the same password.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. No offense but it looks like social engineering spoofing to me. Which again solidifies my stance of not using web wallets at all.
