241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me Safest bitcoin wallet on: March 30, 2016, 04:13:51 AM
One Answer : BlockChain is the best
tell me some reason why blockchain is the best?because i'm ever use that wallet, and now i'm use coinbase, and i think coinbase is far better than blockchain. not because blockchain is the first ever, then it was the best?

Both are not best, coinbase is a wallet service provider, they don't let you have the keys, so if for some reason the site is down, you can't use your funds. Blockchain on the other hand do let you have keys but being a web wallet it is still more vulnerable to attacks.
242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do I Get Bitcoin Fast? on: March 30, 2016, 04:08:18 AM
Work really hard. Smiley

Best reply so far, another thing I'll add to it, if you don't have coding/writing etc. skills then it will be harder for you to earn bitcoins online fast, so its better to earn fiat and then buy bitcoins from it.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who creates there bitcoin wallet with real info? on: March 30, 2016, 04:02:47 AM
As long as you take the back up, they can never hold your funds, even if they limit they account, which they will never do as they don't demand KYC information from the users.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice vs Slots on: March 30, 2016, 02:33:11 AM
Depends on my mood, some days I like playing fancy slots with lots of lines, bonuses, mini games and other days I like the dice, the only real difference in them is, one is provably fair and other is not but the truth is I end up losing in both of them.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 30, 2016, 02:08:25 AM
I am putting my money on England today, imho they have a better batting line up than New Zealand and though Kiwis are slightly favorite to win this match, I think Eng will be will the ones to reach the finals today.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: March 29, 2016, 03:08:00 AM
I hope and voted for 40-50%, its a long shot I know but I am still hopeful since technology is spreading rapidly but realistically if only 20-30% of the world start using it, that would be great but still lots of obstacles in path.
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fastest way to sell bulk bitcoins on: March 29, 2016, 03:03:18 AM
Find traders on Localbitcoins, choose your preferred payment method and start selling, since there are lots of buyers on LBC, it'll be easier for you to sell them their swiftly as compared to the exchanges because there is a verification process, which might take some time and then there are limits as to how much you're allowed to sell in a day.

You can sell it here on the forum too but you'll mostly find buyers with paypal and similar methods which can be charged back so that's not recommended.
248  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Beginner question about starting a wallet on: March 28, 2016, 03:07:02 AM
I just downloaded Electrum and when it asked me what kind of wallet I wanted, I accidentally pressed the kind where I need two machines to use it. I didn't understand that this was the kind of wallet I chose until after I entered the seed.

There is no discernible way to cancel this action and get back to the original screen that asked me what kind of wallet I wanted. There is a cancel button. This quits Electrum, and when I reopen it, I am back on the same page. There are no top menu options. I reinstalled Electrum twice and it still reopens to this screen.

You most probably created a multisig wallet.

If you're on Windows, go to  Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\Local\Electrum

On linux, go to your Home folder, press Ctrl+H, you'll see .electrum folder

Inside you'll see wallets folder, go in it, you'll see a file "default_wallet", rename it to "OLD_default_wallet" or anything else (in-case you need it in future).

Reopen electrum and this time you'll see the original screen and you can make another wallet. This time just choose a "standard wallet" and make sure to write down the seed carefully somewhere safe.

Note: If you are expecting a payment in your old wallet then make sure to keep back up and note down the seed of the previous wallet before you do the steps above.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: As Bitcoin Price Pushing Higher, Is it good time to trade with BTC? on: March 28, 2016, 02:53:31 AM
It is always a good time to trade in bitcoins. I've been trading since 6 months and I sell my bitcoins for 10% above the market rate which earns me a profit irrespective of the price. Yesterday I bought BTC when the price was 415 and now it's 426. You just need to invest an amount that can earn you enough profit like 0.25-0.5 BTC.

How do you do that? I mean who and why would someone buy 10% above the market price? Are you selling for cash, because that's the only reason I would think someone would pay more than the original price since it offers anonymity.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you secure a Text file with your private keys on it? on: March 28, 2016, 02:45:14 AM
You can of-course encrypt the keys itself with BIP38 Encrypt whilst making them and if you use a good strong password then you wouldn't need to encrypt the file since its pretty secure in itself.

Encrypted it with GPG like mentioned above is another good method.
251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying bitcoin for the first time on: March 27, 2016, 03:31:56 AM
Could you tell us more OP, which country are you from, what payment method you're looking to buy bitcoin with, it would be easier to provide right advice if we know these details.
252  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btc-coupon.com trustworthy? on: March 27, 2016, 03:27:53 AM
Someone wants to use this service as escrow for localbitcoin transaction.

Is this service any trustworthy ?

Localbitcoins have their own escrow and a very good and reputable one, tell who ever you're trading with to use that one only, if they refuse to use LBC in built escrow then they're trying to scam you.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitSler - 100% win - slowly but surely on: March 27, 2016, 03:20:25 AM
Set your chance rate to 98%.
Slowly but surely.
You can also try this.
https://youtu.be/HBndMURQJR0

Set your chance rate to 98% and 100% win??   Roll Eyes You're contradicting your own statement.

Bottom line is gambling can never be 100% you may win at this strategy but overall you'll lose more than you'll earn. Stop trying to break the bank, you can't always win.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] What would you do if bitcoin price suddenly starts dropping? on: March 27, 2016, 03:16:32 AM
Voted for "I wouldn't do anything" just hodl and wait for it to go up again, which I know it will, its all about how much you know and trust, people who are in it just for profit always end up panic selling and losing.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 27, 2016, 03:11:03 AM
great win by eng
eng vs new zealand now in semi final
Ya one of the best matches of this WORLD T20 , although SL lost . Hats off to the captain Mathews . what a great performance . Tomorrow also we have a great match . IND VS AUS . I go for AUS
Truly one of the best matches . Perara should have been more patient at that time i suppose but what a performance by the skipper . great , it was 15-4 and then 95-5 , it was a great partnership . But at the end eng won .

It is really a very good come back from Sri lanka but after perera out no other was their to give support to the captain to win the match. So England won the match and now they are in Semi final.

Tommorow match between AFghanistan vs West Indies this is a dead rubber match , If may be that Afghanistan can win this match as for Entertainment West Indies can lose and earn some money.

Second match is between Australia vs India match, in this match who ever wins will go to the Semi final so i will go with India . Because as per my calculation Final will be between India vs New Zealand and winner will be India.

Sri Lanka were so close, Mathews pulled a hamstring and Periera got out early, they only needed just a nudge and they could have defeated England but great match over all.

AFG don't have a chance against WI and I also don't think India will qualify for the semi finals, Australians have a super strong batting line up and unlike India they're in form.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paris-based Bitit launches to let you buy Bitcoins from 100,000 physical stores on: March 27, 2016, 03:07:25 AM
ATMs aren't available everywhere and I would personally feel much comfortable buying bitcoins from a store than a machine that may or may not work.

As far as gift cards are concerned, you can always print them with paper wallets.
257  Economy / Securities / Re: In what should i invest and can i make money? on: March 27, 2016, 03:04:07 AM
To tell you the truth OP, there isn't anything worth investing right now, most if not all are Ponzi schemes, lending without collateral is asking to get robbed and companies which look trustworthy may not turn out to be tomorrow and may just pack their bags and leave. So research on your own and only invest if you're sure.
258  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2016, 02:58:40 AM
my biggest mistake with bitcoin, ever, was definitely putting my coins in cloud mining!
first i put a large portion of my coins in genesis and once i realized i'd never roi tried to increase what i got back form them in hashnest.
needless to say i lost coins in both ventures; if only i've kept my coins i'd've made 100s of dollars of profit just by selling them today!
it seems i'm doing pretty ok at trading, i could've had way more coins, by now, trading altcoins! Lips sealed

Be careful with trading altcoins also, they're too unpredictable, set up your stop loss orders, otherwise you may end up losing more than you lost in cloud mining scams.

I used a measly 260k satoshi and amounted it to 0.20 btc playing dice then i by mistake went one decimal place too much and put 125000 doge coin instead of 12500 and lost it all Sad but seriously its total bs that they don't have some kind of protection to prevent accidental rolls. Some sites move the button to another side as to avoid this and others don't care.

Usually dice sites warn you if you're going all in but they can't protect you from making typo mistakes and betting more than you wanted.
259  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: March 27, 2016, 02:52:52 AM
Bitcoin will not die as long as people dont forgot or waste their bitcoins, every satoshi counts now as the value rises. Its impossible besides almost half a million are now using bitcoin around the world.

Actually the lost bitcoins increase the value of other coins and as far as main question is concerned, it won't die but in future it might get replaced by another currency.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 26, 2016, 02:18:43 AM
Both the matches yesterday were quite entertaining, Pak lost in the end but if Sharjeel had not lost his wicket the result could have been different but still I liked Pak's performance yesterday.

WI on the other hand won but not impressed by their batting at all, they should have reached that target comfortably without any drama.

Another 2 matches today but not expecting any upsets.
