361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 03, 2016, 02:43:59 AM
I think both teams have an equal chance of winning this match, Pakistan's bowling is slightly better than Bangladesh but they don't have reliable batting, whereas Bangladesh also has an added advantage of playing at home.
Slightly better? Last match the almost took 3 wickets in the first 3 balls. You still remember that 2-2 score right and then 8-3? You can't even compare their batsmen forget ballers. This will be a easy win for pakistan. No chances Bangladesh is taking over.

Easy winCheesy

Told you they were only slightly better than Bangladesh because of their bowlers, they don't have a good batting line up and they need to work on that if they want to even think of winning the ICC World T20. Bangladesh may not be the greatest team in the world but they play well at home and now they're set to play India in the finals and though it may look like an impossible task but I still believe it be a close match.

362  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legality of distributing bitcoin paper wallets with money in them on: March 02, 2016, 04:14:21 AM
I don't think it would be illegal, does UK government recognizes bitcoin as a form of currency? And are you to declare it and pay tax on it? If yes then you might be asked from where you acquired bitcoins which you're distributing, if not then they're just coupons which may/may-not hold any value.
363  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lunarbets.eu - Bitcoin Sports betting TO THE MOON! 🌝🚀 on: March 02, 2016, 04:07:11 AM
I think last 5 posters still did not realize that this site is not a traditional sportbook

They will be surprised when they got  only  1.1 * stake winning instead of 1.9 * stake winning ( while odds were 1.9 at the time of bet placement but it become 1.1 at the end.)

I placed 28000 bets in the last 7 years and never heard about parimutuel betting so i suppose these recreational bettors/posters do not know or do not understand what type of betting this is too

I have to say this is new to me but if what you say is right then it can be a problem, I think most bettors would prefer to be paid with exactly the same odds as they were at the time of placement of the bet. And those who do not pay attention to this prior to betting will come to the forum and cry that they were duped. So OP better add about this in detail on the site and in the first post in bold letters.

This clearly explains the difference between the two. http://www.aussportsbetting.com/guide/basics/tote-vs-fixed-odds/
364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lottery? on: March 02, 2016, 02:55:13 AM
yabtcl.com is another lottery site, you can play from faucet and as well as depositing and buying tickets. I tried it once but didn't win anything and then stopped.

bettingblocks.com can be considered a lottery too, the only difference is, instead of picking numbers you're picking miners and they have huge rewards, especially the blocks with 777 at the end. And they're the fairest one, since they can't change the outcome.

As far as making a lottery site is concerned, you can try but I haven't seen keen interest for it amongst Bitcoin gamblers.

366  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mistakenly received a deposit in bitcoin . what should I do? on: March 01, 2016, 03:28:40 AM
Which site is it OP and show some proofs. This looks like just a troll attempt to me.

If it isn't then just contact the site, tell them someone else has deposited bitcoins to your account and let them decide what to do with it. Maybe its just a glitch.

It may also be that the site itself is a scam and when you try to withdraw, you'll be asked to deposit a sum.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: March 01, 2016, 03:21:52 AM
bitcoin banking is probably ponzi. simply because you are hardly earning a decent interest with the blocks halving, really man.
even with the mining, you won't gain a lot of interest in bank; again, halving.
nope. they can create a business of saving customers money, or lend to someone to make a profit

OR they can simply pack their bags and leave when they have enough money of the noobs who don't think twice before sending money to these so called banks.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this take? on: March 01, 2016, 03:10:25 AM
Yesterday I bought paypal money in exchange with btc and the deal was smooth as usual.

I sent the bitcoins and the transaction is here > https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/2c8e29c797ec493df08b35b4012029445ea2bc420e32a685e6708f359a0ad5af/

Already 15 hours has passed and not a single confirmation has been done. Will this transaction reverse or just take more time than usual because of blockchain spams transactions?

I do not really think the fees is too low. Is it?

As you can see here there is a congestion in the network https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions maybe someone is spamming the network, which is why even the transactions with the normal fees are taking too long to confirm, but it will ultimately subside and when it does, your transaction should go through.
369  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: looking for advertising places on: March 01, 2016, 03:05:36 AM
Why don't you advertise on the forum itself, look out for the next round https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1341175.0  and place your bids when the next thread opens up.

Or you can have a signature campaign on the forum, you won't get more exposure anywhere than here.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 29, 2016, 03:07:31 AM

PAKISTAN always had the best bowlers the world have to offer, but the lack of good batsman who could score runs is costing them.

i didnt watch a single full match this series nor am i not wagging any bet.

Yes, Pakistan used have good bowlers always and also they had a good batsman but consistency was not there to win big matches.

Today match is between Pakistan vs United Arab Emirates - Every knows Pakistan will win this match easily but UAE has bowled very well in past two matches so let's see how they will restrict these Pakistan batsman today.

Yes, not expecting any thing out of the ordinary today but hope that there are some instances which cause the odds of Pak to go up a little because right now its not even worth betting on, although they will be the winner for sure. Pakistan @ 1.07
371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is my Bitcoin transaction not confirming? on: February 29, 2016, 02:53:16 AM
So if it's dropped from the mempool, does that mean it's lost forever?  I'm just short of five days waiting for this payment to be confirmed.  Lesson learned.

No, it means the transaction is forgotten because it failed to confirm and then the coins show up back in your wallet and this time you can re-send them with proper fee.

Bitcoins never get lost, they either go to the address they were sent to or they come back to the address(es) from which they were sent from, they can however get stuck in a limbo for a while due to low fee or other reasons.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: any bitcoin wallet that pay interest for keeping money? on: February 29, 2016, 02:49:27 AM
there are many services like haobtc and https://magnr.com/ etc offering interest by keeping your money in their wallet but unfortunately they are untrustworthy, they operated so shady and most of them ended scam.
so far this kind bitcoin saving that pay interest be used for evil activity like ponzi. i recommend to do not believe any services that offering interest for keeping your money for now.

True, I don't find any of them to be legit but its just that people are so keen on earning interest that they want to believe that it is real. One thing I learned from the time I spent here is that people never learn.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing whenever you're Gaining? on: February 28, 2016, 03:29:14 AM
Sooner or later everyone ends up losing, therefore it is suggested to get out whilst you're ahead. Don't try to win all in one day, money control is essential part of gambling.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is that right good exhange or i get ripped localbitcoin on: February 28, 2016, 03:13:36 AM
Don't know how or what your friend did but before a trade LBC clearly shows the calculator on every trader's advertisement page, where you can enter how many bitcoins you're buying/selling and it shows the exact amount you'll get after the trade.

If you think something went wrong, it is better if your friends contact the support, they have a live support system and an agent will clear your friend's doubts.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: question about wallets that use a different recieveing adress each time on: February 28, 2016, 03:05:58 AM
Don't know if wallets prioritize coins based on their age in an address or confirmations etc. but afaik wallet chooses addresses to send from randomly (unless specified otherwise).

To expand on this: There are wallets in which you can specify sending address(es) (custom input(s)) and a change address (for example in Bitcoin Core). I use this feature almost every single time when I transact.

Yes, Electrum has that feature also, you can choose from which addresses to "send from" when making the transaction. Although, not sure if phone wallets have this feature, I don't use any, maybe mycelium does.
376  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Does anyone know site like Neobux that accept BTC? on: February 28, 2016, 02:55:38 AM
NeoBux accepts Skrill - maybe you could trade your btc for Skrill, and deposit that to NeoBux. NeoBux is great for earning money.

How is it great? afaik, they pay like $0.001 per Ad, which means you have to click, type-captcha, watch the Ad for 10-30 seconds, 1000 times to earn a $1. Not sure but even the faucets might pay better than these.
377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introducing people to BitCoin via business cards on: February 28, 2016, 02:42:20 AM
Thanks everybody for your input!

I would hasten to add that I was referring to wallet<->wallet transactions, not via a third party, those are of course free.

Don't know what you mean by that but anytime you send Bitcoins from one address to another, you have to pay a little miner's fee. Unless you're talking about importing private keys from one wallet to another, which is free as long as you import directly and don't use the sweep function (which means sending all funds from A->B)

I wouldn't advocate a third party anyway, that would look commercial and, above all, compromise security, which is very important.

If you're talking about coinbase and other similar wallet services then you're correct. It is important to keep your coins in a wallet of which only you have the keys.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 28, 2016, 02:35:53 AM
India vs Pakistan, well bowled by indian bowlers but both side Batsman are strugled to bat in india side Kholi played superbly and Indian won this match by 5 wickets congratultion.
And now who are were the ones who were saying that India will face challenge from pakistanis and Pakistanis are very strong? Pakistan has been a very poorly organised team lately and they had no chance against India.

Pakistan batsman didn't try to play according to pitch condition instead they tried to go after each and every ball and end up losing wickets continuously. Also there no good running between the wickets they last two good wickets in run out. But Indian batsman realized the pitch condition soon after losing couple of wickets and played slowly and punished only bad balls and finally managed to win the match in very professional manager.

This is true, Pak lacked in the batting department, if they had put up at-least 50+ runs on the board, it could have been a different story altogether.

Today's the match between SL and BAN and SL are slightly better than BAN and should win this one.
379  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Sent Bitcoin With Electrum Not Sure Which Address on: February 27, 2016, 05:38:44 AM
I recently upgraded from electrum 1.9.8 to 2.6.  When in electrum 1.9.8, i had tried to sent bitcoin but got error because i had to upgrade to new version of electrum to send bitcoin.  So i downloaded electrum 2.6.  I then sent bitcoin to a site.  My issue though is im not 100 percent sure if i sent the bitcoin to that correct address.  Before when i was using electrum 1.9.8, i was given the address to send it to but it doesn't go through b/c i needed to upgrade electrum.

I then had to send the bitcoin to a new bitcoin address after upgrading to electrum 2.6.  I then sent the bitcoin to that new btc address but now it shows unconfirmed.  Normally when i send btc to this site, btc shows up very fast.  I see it unconfirmed in my electrum 2.6.  Is there a way to know which btc address i sent my bitcoin to?  I see transaction id, inputs and outputs.

I do see the correct bitcoin address on the first line of outputs though which showed the exact amt of btc i sent to that address.  So that means i sent it to the right one correct?

Just right click on the transaction in the "History" tab and select "View on block explorer", a window will open in your browser showing you the complete details of the Tx, from -> to, Fee etc. low fee could be the reason why the Tx still shows as unconfirmed.

Or do the same and this time select "Details" and it will show the Inputs and outputs, Inputs are the addresses from which the coins were sent from and outputs, where they went.
380  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best VCC that can be loaded by BTC? on: February 27, 2016, 05:16:51 AM
I am going to write about all VCC that I know which can be loaded using btc and you can choose between them after comparing their fees and prices

there is https://www.e-coin.io/ virtual card which is worth 3 dollars
and there is http://advcash.com/ and their VCC is for $1
and there is https://spectrocoin.com and their card is for 0.5$

I have heard very little about e-coin but the rest of the two you suggested, it is the first time I am hearing about it, I wonder how safe they're and if they ask for credentials.
