21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: May 25, 2016, 03:01:41 AM
I do like them but I play very rarely, reason for that is never been too lucky with them, not even with the floor ones but I do play them every now and then. I mostly just bet on sports now.
22  Economy / Gambling / Re: All in Poker Flips on: May 25, 2016, 02:56:18 AM
Site seems raw, you know OP, currently there aren't any pokers sites with that software and to me it is the most easy to use browser based poker software, if you can make this into a proper site, people might come and play, right now it doesn't looks promising enough to deposit anything into imho.
23  Economy / Gambling / Re: Faucet based gambling sites. on: May 25, 2016, 02:42:56 AM
Almost all the gambling sites have faucets, some of the casino sites don't have it but they have demo versions of their games and no-deposit bonuses to test the site out, which is actually what faucets are designed for. Here's a list, it seems bit outdated though. http://gamblingwithbitcoin.com/bitcoin-gambling-sites-with-faucet/
24  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Primedice? on: May 23, 2016, 04:31:33 AM
I wouldn't suggest using VPN or any other anonymous methods to play, they can put a risk to your funds as your account can get compromised due to MITM attack, furthermore, if somehow PD finds out they can ban your account and compensate funds. Simple solution is, play elsewhere. Btw, this was the original announcement: Important announcement from Primedice
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to promote new gambling site? on: May 23, 2016, 04:26:56 AM
Make an announcement thread here on the forum, start out some promotions to attract new members, clear your terms and conditions regarding KYC and after that you can start with these:
There is lots of ways to promote your business, but it all depends on your promoting budget.

1. Referral          - They will promote if you set good commission rates.
2. Sig. Campaign  - You can see in this forum lots of gambling sites promoting. So its a good idea.
3. Free Giveaway  - This will also get you good amount users.
4. Ad Networks     - You can use ad networks to promote your business at beginning, after that your referral system will continue it. Ad networks are
good options because your ad will be shown to many categorized websites.
5. Bloggers           - Find out top bloggers from your niche.
6. Social Campaign - It could be a good option too.

Do I missed any more ways?  Huh

Buying a bitcointalk advertisement is another option which is not included and avatar campaigns does provide good promotion as well.
@OP, keep track of next thread like this and buy a slot when the next round begins. Advertise on this forum - Round ...
26  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Interest-Earning Sites. on: May 23, 2016, 04:03:55 AM
Thanks for the offer OP but I'd rather keep my bitcoins safe in my wallet and earn no interest then invest in any of these services, no matter how legit you claim them to be.
Use them at your own risk. I am not liable for any losses you've incurred.
Why promote them when you yourself aren't sure, whether they're safe or not?

27  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Blank history?? on: May 23, 2016, 03:51:17 AM
What wallet version are you using, if you're on an older one, update to the latest one and see if the problem gets resolved. It happened with me once when my system got bsod (faulty ram) and I figured it might have corrupted the blockchain_headers file due to electrum not being closed properly, so here is what I did, you can try and see if these work for you.

Click the network icon in electrum (red/green light at the bottom), select Auto_Connect>OK, close electrum, go to the .electrum folder, you can find its location here: http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html?highlight=location#where-is-my-wallet-file-located , rename the blockchain_headers file to OLD_blockchain_headers, restart electrum and let it run and sync for a while as it will download the blockchain headers file again and when its done, your history should appear back. Or you can simply, rename/move the .electrum folder somewhere else and then re-store your wallet from seed.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hey is this the official bitcointalk app or is it harmful to my device/account on: May 23, 2016, 02:27:21 AM
There isn't any bitcointalk official app till now, the new software of the forum should support better mobile browsing, therefore no app will be made afaik and I wouldn't trust any third party app with my login info of bitcointalk, neither should you.

30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale in Sportbooks on: May 22, 2016, 03:58:25 AM
Edit: https://i.imgur.com/WS49qSv.png

Rule applied in the above spreadsheet for profit = total investment- return, which as you can see is not worth the profit it brings, plus the investment is huge since you're 3xing after every bet.

Sorry for my mistake and my bad english. i used 4x after every bet with odds 1.5. i will edit later in first page

Are you even looking at the total investment plus the profit it brings?? Its too RISKY.

Here you go, if you even 4x it, the profit turns to 0.01 but the risk with it increases as well. Roll Eyes

I don't know about you but I wouldn't invest that much money to win 0.01 BTC. Its ridiculous.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale in Sportbooks on: May 22, 2016, 03:43:50 AM
Edit:..

What happened? There was a chart showing the martingale bets just 3 minutes ago. Also OP, I wouldn't recommend you martingale in sportbooks. 10+ loss streaks are rare, but they sometimes happen and you'll go bust.
Re-did the calculations as the total investment column wasn't being calculated correctly and it turns out it requires too big of the investment to earn very little, totally not worth it imho.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale in Sportbooks on: May 22, 2016, 03:36:11 AM
Edit:

Rule applied in the above spreadsheet for profit = total investment- return, which as you can see is not worth the profit it brings, plus the investment is huge since you're 3xing after every bet.

After having 5 consequent losses, which can happen, you'll be down 1.21 BTC and to win it back with the same method, you'd have to make the next bet worth 2.43 BTC to win back what you lost + 0.005 BTC. The 0.005 BTC is the maximum win per bet, if you start with 0.01 and it remains the same throughout. You'd have to be nuts to try this.
33  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Forgot my seed please help on: May 22, 2016, 03:17:27 AM
The things suggested above are the last resorts but I really doubt any of those will work, you're suppose to keep note of your seed elsewhere and several copies of it. Sorry to say but the chances of you getting your coins back are next to none at this moment, unless of-course you're able to recover it from your mobile someway.
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is escrow and why do I need it in Cryptoland? on: May 22, 2016, 03:13:47 AM
You think this hasn't been suggested before? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133931.0 This has been told and repeated several times but very people pay attention, it is also vital to add to this that if the amount of trade is big then hire more than one for a multisig address escrow, which adds more security, since there has been instances where escrows itself ran with user's funds, master-p for example.
35  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Sweeping Paper Wallets to Electrum Wallet on: May 22, 2016, 02:31:29 AM
I've went to bitaddress.org and have enetered my private key from my paper wallet. I took the compressed Private Key and tried to sweep it into my offline Electrum wallet. It says " No inputs found" ...and nothing happens... Anyone know why?

Thanks for your time, regards,

JD
You have encrypted key, right? when you go to bitaddress and UN-encrypt it with your pass-phrase, you'll be shown two addresses, one compressed and one uncompressed, now look at your paper wallet, the address shown there is your correct address and you have to enter the key shown on the bitaddress which corresponds to it, should be right below it.

Since you have tried the compressed one, your funds should be in the uncompressed address, its key should start with '5', where as compressed ones start with 'L' or 'K'.

If your paper wallet is not encrypted, then you don't need to go to bitaddress to view its details, just import/sweep it directly into electrum and it should work, make sure if you're typing it to not make any mistakes. Also very important, once you SWEEP the key, your funds will be sent from your paper wallet to one of the address(es) in electrum, your paper wallet will no longer have funds and therefore you need to take back up of your seed of electrum or you will end up losing your funds.
36  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever make a donation with bitcoin? on: May 22, 2016, 02:17:21 AM
I did donate to Red cross during the Nepal earthquake but that's the only donation I have made using BTC, though I do make other donations periodically to local institutes using fiat. The linux distro I am using right now doesn't accepts Bitcoin, only paypal which I don't use, I have suggested this to them and if they begin accepting BTC, I'll send something right away.
37  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thanks playbitstarz.com on: May 22, 2016, 02:05:59 AM
But this game pays out every single time!

Just watch the vidoes from adam, i playes this everyday for a week now i always depo .2 and i always doubled it in minutes!
I doubt that it pays out every time, but if it is working for you then you're extremely lucky, just keep at it, don't go overboard though. Don't know who adam is or whats in those videos but it doesn't matter I rarely can get myself to trust those but as much as I want to play, I can't, I am not ready to provide my identification documents to any casinos, which is why I avoid them, I'll see if I can find that slot on an anonymous casino.
38  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Twitter Signature Campaign on: May 21, 2016, 04:33:28 AM
None is active right now afaik, closed down probably because they weren't too effective, if you have active real followers, start tweeting your affiliate links, you'll get something should someone sign up using your link. I have done that in the past with my twitter and reddit and earned good amount of referrals.

PS: The term used for such is "Social Media Campaigns" not twitter signature, there is no signature in twitter.
39  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN - slots not working now? on: May 21, 2016, 03:57:55 AM
Hey, I'm not sure if there's a limit or I've been restricted for some reason, but I can't access the slots on JETWIN.ps anymore.
It will let me go on the 'demo play' but not real play, and I've tried using different browsers and clearing my cache/cookies.
Don't know why it's doing this - any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
Can't say, but better ask the support about this, you can email them from within your account or ask the same in their thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355484.0, emailing the support would get you the fastest resolution imo. Not in front of my pc right now, or I would've checked whether it is working at my end or not.
Edit: Looks like others are having some problems with their accounts as well. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355484.msg14915557#msg14915557
40  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: faucetbox not paying? on: May 21, 2016, 03:47:14 AM
Like you mentioned yourself, they moved to new servers so it must be temporary glitch as nothing is mentioned on their thread or twitter page, wait a couple of days if it doesn't gets resolved by then, post in their thread or ask the support, you can also email them alternatively.
