Which website is better, poloniex or bitfiniex? I would give money for any trader becouse I can not do that Smiley

Listen fella!, you're probably new around here so you don't know. But don't give anyone 0.1 or anything to invest in any idea or to trade on those site. You are asking to get robbed.

There isn't any safe investments. Do yourself a favor and read and educate yourself.

The way you're doing this you'll get some Ponzi owners who'd lure you to invest in their site and you'll lose your funds.

What is SwagBucks exactly?
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a market for "fresh" coins? on: January 07, 2016, 04:02:51 AM
Whats the purpose of an uncirculated coin, 1 BTc is 1 BTc ??

Uncirculated fiat currency is worth more than circulated, I suppose some people feel the same about bitcoin, but I don't really get it.  It's all just data, but some people pay more for things "just because".

I don't get it either, UN-circulated fiat currency have collectors which increase their price and its a physical thing which can be traded based on its rarity and condition but don't know why would some one pay more for freshly mined coins when old or new they're exactly the same.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question about Live Roulette on: January 07, 2016, 03:48:42 AM
i dont think live roulette have provably fair system lol. its depend on live mode isnt it.?
but i think on live roulette theres a way for them to cheat player too.. i dont really like to play roulette its quite hard to win unless have alot of funds.

Anything can be rigged, with provable fair system it becomes a little difficult but with live version without any provable fairness its very easy.

I like playing roulette and have made profit from it in the past but it can be hard and requires good funds management.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 07, 2016, 03:45:22 AM
The only sure method of growing your Bitcoin is just keep hodl in your wallet and wait for the price to go up, other than that nothing can be trusted. You never know things that look trusted decides to screw you up.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 07, 2016, 03:34:51 AM
Today first T20 match between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Match now going to start, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first.

I think NZ is much stronger team in T20 format so I think NZ will surely win this match. What you guys think?

New Zealand looks more stronger now after 18th over they have scored 163 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. I strongly believe it is going to be New Zealand's game. I have put my odds on New Zealand. The home ground advantages will continue for them in T20 series also.

NZ scored 182 runs in 20 overs. SL will never win this match for sure.

I feel the same but lets see if they can pull this off.

What a great match between Afg & Zim yesterday, I thought they were done but what a comeback, which tells me that if these small teams are given more tournaments to play, they can become good strong teams.

STOP with the welcome posts already. Everything that was worth recommending to him has been done already.

He posted on Dec 26th, after that he hasn't been on-line.

628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 06, 2016, 04:13:50 AM
-snip-

I don't bet Cricket much because I don't know too much detail.

Is momentum a factor? Does winning last two matches give them an advantage?

Afghanistan seems like the better team but don't see how they got dominated so badly last two games. Zimbabwe woke up?

Cricket is a game of uncertainties, just because they won last 2 games does not mean they have an advantage. Both teams are almost equal and at this point its hard to say which one will win. Zim might be able to pull another victory I am guessing.
629  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: January 06, 2016, 04:03:34 AM

630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin by sig campaign? on: January 06, 2016, 03:45:47 AM
You wear the sig of a company and post as normal and at the term you get paid for the posts you made in that term, IF the person holding the funds doesn't runs off with the money that is.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a PGP signature and why is it important? on: January 05, 2016, 06:47:04 AM

When you create a PGP, you get 2 keys, one is public, the other is private. The private one you keep to yourself and don't share with anyone, the public one you let others know by uploading it to pgp servers.

And the way it is used in messages is if you want to send a message to someone which you want no one else to see then you encrypt the message with that person's public key and only they can read it by decrypting the message with their private key and password. Its not a messenger, its just a good way of encrypting the messages.

Isn't it that aside from Public key and Private Key there's also this pass phrase that needs to be secured? Is it possible to sign and verify a PGP message without those pass phrase?

When you make a new keypair you'll be asked to make a password and you'll be required to enter that password whenever you sign/decrypt anything. Its another safety measure should your private key get in hand of someone else, so make it strong and long and make sure to remember it or write it down somewhere.

You only need a pgp software to verify the message someone signed, don't need private key or password for that.
632  Other / Archival / Re: Do all casinos hold large wins for a few weeks for "fraud inspection"? (84 BTC) on: January 05, 2016, 06:21:03 AM
Don't be worry about this pending withdrawal if that fair and you didn't cheated the casino than you'll get paid for sure because fortunejack is legit casino so they will process your request as it is they will complete the investigation about this huge winning, congrats mate for this incredible winning.

How could you cheat a casino? House edge is house edge and the only possible chance is to find some bug in their software. FJ are legit... until they can't come with 50BTC for 10 days.

That is what they would be inspecting I imagine to see if there are some loop holes in the game which gambler took advantage of but these inspections should be done before putting the game on the floor (on site in the case of on-line casinos).

And OP, you basically broke their vault  Cheesy by winning this big. I think most casinos do not keep this many BTC available, so maybe they're buying it from the market, which is why it is taking so long and arranging 36,660 USD is not easy and quite painful. Cheesy

BTW, if you can give me some winning tips, PLEASE do, as I need some money which I lost to a scam recently on this forum.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 05, 2016, 06:03:40 AM
Sri Lankan team has totally lost their game, they were at one time the top ODI team in the world now they play like kids, when they had batters like Jayasuriya, Kaluwitharna, De-silva, Ranatunga, they use to make 100+ in  10-12 overs now its hard for them to reach 100 without losing at-least 3-4 wickets.

The T20 world cup is in March cmiiw and I don't see them even making the semi finals the way they're playing.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a PGP signature and why is it important? on: January 05, 2016, 05:57:32 AM

In the event a user sells his private pgp key, what will you do then? How will you differentiate between real person and the impersonator. Digital identity is just not reliable, if you're dealing with a person on-line, either know him in person before hand or have info of their whereabouts.

thats why i prefer to use bitcoin addresses.. because the address is funded i would be less willing to sell my private key to anyone. for instance if its an address i use to receive funds from multiple locations ongoing, i wont want a new person getting them newly acquired funds..

where as PGP keys have no real collateral backing it, and can be sold dirt cheap. without worry of losing anything in the future

so bitcoin message signing has more benefits than PGP

Yes but the way things has turned out on this forum this past week I won't be surprised if people sell their "not to be used anymore" private keys as well when they're selling their account, it'll just add more value to it.

I only use PGP as a safe way of communication not really as a verification method. Bitcoin keys and PGP keys can be sold off with accounts making them unreliable as a verfication.

How do you use it to communicate with people? Is there some sort of messenger or do you mean you send it with a Bitcoin address? If I sign a message from a bitcoin address it's not encrypted I'm assuming (since people can go verify it on a website such as coinig).

635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you be up for a Poker League for members of this forum? on: January 05, 2016, 05:49:14 AM
-snip-

Not going to create a new site. Will try to get a sponsor and if the site has web browser poker it can be played in a browser. I'm used to download poker software, I even prefer to do it even when the poker room has a browser client, because clients tend to lag less and normaly have more features that I like to use. It would be great to create something that everyone would like, but sometimes that is not possible.

As for the freerolls, like I explained before, a skilled players should be able to pass by the league with profit without having to risk much, or probably anything. The winnings from the freerolls should pay the buy ins for the other tournaments, and the winnings from the other tournaments should pay their own buy in and the buy in of the main event. We will not have just freerolls, that is not the idea.

I totally understand, everyone have their preferences, I for one prefer the browser based since I don't like to install unknown softwares on my PC and if you have played with Maven's Poker browser based software, it doesn't lags and works flawlessly and it is the one I prefer which is why I avoid sites which have different softwares.

All the best to you, I hope you can make this thing a success past the freeroll stage.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Bitcoin is/should be a currency, store of wealth, or both on: January 04, 2016, 04:44:45 AM
For now store of wealth is the safest option, using it as a currency is difficult currently because there aren't many places it is accepted and it is risky since its easy for swindlers to do their tricks with BTC and get away with it.
637  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you be up for a Poker League for members of this forum? on: January 04, 2016, 04:16:55 AM
I would but only if I like the browser based Poker room and currently there aren't any. So unless you're thinking of making a new site, I'd pass. Also, all the people which seem to be excited are only because you said freeroll and you'll get a lot of them entering the freeroll but very few will actually play buy-in tournaments. This is the reason why a lot of good sites died.
638  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why is primedice restricted in some countries? on: January 04, 2016, 03:35:32 AM
You could have asked this question in the Primedice thread itself instead of opening a new thread for it.

Not only PD, some of the other sites do this too. They ban players from these countries because Casinos without a proper license are not allowed in those countries and they do this to protect themselves from any legal issues. I think this was after or around the time Micon was arrested and Seals with Clubs was shutdown.

Also, a word of caution, if your country is banned and you still deposit and play at those casinos using Tor/VPN/Proxy, your funds might get confiscated if the casino finds out your location. And you're more likely to get your funds stolen through MITM attack, so be careful.
639  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P's scammed funds summary. Post your case here if you were scammed. on: January 03, 2016, 05:26:22 AM

Again, if you haven't submitted a payment address either please post one here or PM KingZee to have it added to the OP so I know where to send funds to as they come available.

For what it's worth

This is my address: 1BiTbABybyRgYZkJm1pzr8w3Tj7PjVTqnN

I am one of the participant of the obits sig campaign:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1272862.msg13126409#msg13126409
I would say that the company you are advertising for should probably pay you directly and master-P refund that company (if the company does not pay you then master-P should instead pay you)....

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1272862.msg13420611#msg13420611

I request kingzee to kindly add my address to the OP as master-p owes me 0.18 BTC.
I already have the obits campaign added in. No need for you to post here

I felt the need and until I receive the funds (if ever) I and other participants have all the right to post here, since the campaign owners have decided not to pay any more because according to them they already did (don't blame them!) and you sure as hell are not going to. And seeing as we're at the mercy of master-p, I'll take my chances and post my address whether or not you see the need for it.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a PGP signature and why is it important? on: January 03, 2016, 04:59:00 AM
As a new user of Bitcoin, you don't really need a PGP signature, unless you really need to prove your unique identity in a anonymous way, for example, for some sort of trade between 2 parties (and always use a escrow for this). Other than that, it's not really needed. You'll know when you need it once you understand what it does.

In the event a user sells his private pgp key, what will you do then? How will you differentiate between real person and the impersonator. Digital identity is just not reliable, if you're dealing with a person on-line, either know him in person before hand or have info of their whereabouts.

Actually it has other needs, if you want to send a message to someone in particular and you don't want others to see that then you encrypt the message with that person's public key and only the person knowing the private key will be able to decrypt the message.
