There are numerous occasions where posts are edited for valid reasons, such as announcements, pricing, links etc. on posts that are revisited very frequently. When they're edited there is no easy way of knowing what the actual edits are apart from knowing when the post was last edited. If posts have changed since the last time you visited a thread or read the post, it would be great if it the edited components were highlighted in some way (different font style, highlight, background colour change etc).
+1. OR atleast it would be great if something like 'Edited on Date, time' is shown if the user edit his/her post. So we can know he/she has edited his/her post. P.S. Sorry, what I wanted is actually implemented though 'not fully': Everyone can see it, its not very well displayed but look at the timestamps of messages, if they have a dotted line under them it means the post was edited, hovering over the timestamp will also reveal when it was last edited and by who.

Don't worry you will get your BTC on the payment day. They will add your name before they start paying out. Good Luck! ~~MZ~~

Try using standalone version. I think it is better than windows installer. BTW have you stored your seed phrase? Without phrase, it maybe be a little hard to access the wallet. Storing the AppData before uninstalling the app and then run standalone Electrum. It may help. If you know the phrase, just enter it! ~~MZ~~

I wonder what is the purpose of posting forum finances openly ? Users are not stakeholder. May be, only those who donated, have the right to access this data.
IMO : As this is public forum, making this public would be a good thing too. If donators can only access, then I think users who registered after 2013 mostly can't access as the donation amount is high when considering the value/BTC. ~~MZ~~

I checked it and from what I can see rates of exchange are weird and is is not good offer at all. I actually must pay more than buying a recharge in normal way. If it would be cheaper... True! They are charging ~$0.5 . Why would a person credit his with ~$1 and pay a fee of 75% of the re-charge amount. But still people are doing this : ~~MZ~~ What about my service dear His offers competitive rate. For recharging IDEA India, it was $1. I recommend using his service. ~~MZ~~

I have added a poll. Vote please! ~~MZ~~ Please edit the poll and add an option to view results publicly. I'm not sure if it can be seen after voting, but it needs to be available without casting a vote. Some users may vote in the option which has most votes. That's why I made it like that. The results will be available after making the vote. I will add to the post and will change the subject soon! DONE! ~~MZ~~

Verse 54:1-2 of the Qur'an reads:
اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ وَإِن يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ The hour drew nigh and the moon did rend asunder.
Really?
REALLY?
No, some 7th century dude didn't split the Moon. It's there just like it was always.
It's your choice whether to believe it or not. Anyway here is some proof : Wikipedia | ISIJ Sahih al-Bukhari Volume 4, Book 56, Number 777:
Narrated by Al-Bara:
We were one-thousand-and-four-hundred (1400) persons on the day of Al-Hudaibiya (Treaty). (At) Al-Hudaibiya, (there) was a well. We drew out its water, not leaving even a single drop. The Prophet sat at the edge of the well and asked for some water, with which he rinsed his mouth. Then he threw it out into the well. We stayed for a short while. Then, we drew water from the well and quenched our thirst. Even our riding animals drank water to their satisfaction.
Really?
REALLY?
So, you pulled all the water out of the well and then water trickled back in from the surrounding earth? That's what wells DO.
Duhhh!
I haven't heard this before. Anyway, I will get back to this after referring. It is not a good thing to oppose a religion even if it is Islam, Christianity, Hinduism etc... If you just want to express your view, you can do in a good way(no offense). I will be back ASAP! ~~MZ~~

theymos hasn't responded here for a few days. We will know after he respond. But I don't whether he will use this instead of Google Authenticator. Is there any other site, which uses this 2FA? AND HOW does this work, if only public Bitcoin address is needed? ~~MZ~~ Only the owner of the bitcoin address can sign the message. Giving an extra layer of control for the user and less responsibility for the administrator. Since the administrator does not have to provide and keep private keys for the google authenticator. message: I am Vite signed message: HBJwP1/CBWs8LkrL/kPLjBN4ktqP7r348eQvN2UpSB3UsUHkW50zm+RbMErVDxfEwX2Y51QMA3Sz+z59dJBG+jE= bitcoin address; 1BxzA3KCoynGMAmxobcFcUH7GGnqz1Eewe Now you can use bitcoind, electrum, etc to verify the signature. or the script I linked above. That would be great! So if it is implementing, I would suggest a bot to prevent re-use of same signature again because if we have posted a message in BT, then the user can bypass this 2FA by copy-pasting the signature. ~~MZ~~

Something similar has already been suggested, through the use of something like a notification center.
Would it be like a plugin or something like that? Even if we close the BT tabs, a plugin can notify a new PM. So is it something like that or the BT site must be opened? ~~MZ~~

This is not a link to JackJack's new pywallet. This is an attempt to distribute malware. Do not use the fake pywallet software in this link, it is malware. It will steal your wallet file and upload it to the attacker. Ignore any pywallet download links which are not posted by JackJack himself. Thank's for warning. Here is the correct link : https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet . I have reported the post, I hope it will be deleted soon! ~~MZ~~

@MZ If U want to take up this issue to theymos, U need to have 2 polls here...
i. Whether people need some other Mod ?
I don't want to make a big issue. As the board has grown, I think it would be good to have another mod, that's why I suggested here. ii. Who will be the Mod ?
That's the question which I need answer for. Suggestions would be great! ~~MZ~~

If you have no money to invest on BTC, then I suggest you to spend more time on this forum. You can make some btc throguh signature campaign.
it seems this is the case from what i've seen, but apparently it takes ages until you can post in the required member level, and all good campaings are closed anyway so... Try bitin.io signature campaign. It is still open! ~~MZ~~

Can you tell us why ?
Regards
This board has grown. So another mod can help this board with Benson Samuel. ~~MZ~~ Why don't you moderate? Want me to talk to Micheal? I think I am not good enough to moderate this board. The current moderator will know who's best, so I think its better if he chooses. ~~MZ~~

Do I still have to file a tax if my annual income is below 5 lakhs ?
If I am right, the tax should be paid if the annual income is 3 Lakhs. So if this right, then you will have to pay your tax. P.S. Tax calculation 7 years ago. It was approx. 1.1 Lak : For tax calculations you should tell your status. Male, Female or Senior Citizen (>65 years). You did not tell your tax status. So I am giving tax for all of them. The basic tax exemptions and tax payable on Rs.3.5 lakhs income is as follows for this running financial year 2007-08 (1-4-2007 to 31-3-2008) 1) Male <65 years of Age: Tax free amount Rs.1,10,000: Tax payable on 3.5L= Tax 54,000 + Education Cess 1,620= Total Rs.55,620/-. If you save Rs.1 lakh in 80C investments then your tax liabulity will be reduced to Rs.24,720/- 2) Female <65 years of Age: Tax free amount Rs.1,45,000: Tax payable on 3.5L= Tax 50,500 + Education Cess 1,515= Total Rs.52,015/-. If you save Rs.1 lakh in 80C investments then your tax liability will be reduced to Rs.21,115/- 3) Seniour Citizen >65 years of Age: Tax free amount Rs.1,95,000: Tax payable on 3.5L= Tax 41,000 + Education Cess 1,230= Total Rs.42,230/-. If you save Rs.1 lakh in 80C investments then your tax liabulity will be reduced to Rs.11,330/- Note: For last year (FY:2006-07) the basic exemption limits was Male 1 lakh, Female 1.35 Lakhs. Sen.Cit.Rs.1.85 Lakhs. That means the tax limit was raised by Rs.10,000 to all for this year (FY:2007-08) Current tax calculation: - Assessment Year : 2014-15
- Tax Payer : Individual
- Male/Female/Senior Citizen : Male/Female
- Residential Status : Resident
- Net Taxable Income : 3,50,000
- Income Tax : 13,000
- Surcharge : 0
- Education Cess : 260
- Secondary and higher education cess : 130
- Total Tax Liability : 13,190

Currently we are working on supporting the uncompressed private keys, we will release the v1.1.0 with this feature ASAP. Also we will add address book in the future. Thanks for your advice Thanks! AND, why doesn't it import private keys while the phone is offline? Can you fix that too? I will try to keep my feedback up-to date. ~~MZ~~ When importing private key, Bither hot wallet need to sync the old transactions of this address, so it need to be online. Currently we are working hard on Bither v1.1.0. After we finish releasing the new version, we will try to improve this. Thanks for your advice I understand that. But what I meant is, just import the private key even when the phone is offline and the sync when it is connected. There comes situations to import private key when the phone is offline. It would be helpful if a 'successful' message or something like that shows if the import was successful. How many m BTC is spent when default transaction fee is set to 'high' and 'low'? It would be better to show the amount below the words(high & low) in settings. How about making an option to sign and verify messages? It would be great! A QR-code for the signature would be good too. You can make that a bit more good by making a short line above the signature on top-left saying something like : QR-code 'right arrow', i.e., when the user slides the signature to left, the QR-code appears from right side. Try to delete the app but don't remove any file in the AppData, it would be better if you make copy of the files and then try to install it once more. If the files in the AppData were deleted when deleting Electrum, then copy the files from the back-up you made. Then, open the app, if the app asks seed phrase, then try to add it or the app may automatically import the files as it is in AppData or try to import yourself. ~~MZ~~
