7382  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: www.lunamine.com - 0.0025 BTC/GHs mining contracts | On-demand withdrawals on: August 22, 2014, 11:47:31 AM
I have seen and read about this cloud mining thing and all that`s come out of it is pure scam, why not settle down on Ghash.io or Cex.io they are well known.

The reason that people used lunamine was mainly due to its low price.
The price for 1 GH/s is 0.0025 on lunamine while it is ~0.0038 on cex.io.

You are right. But people don't know how much the profit is in cex.io as we can sell GHs. So we can earn BTC with our GHs via mining and then through trading. I hope they will know it sooner. Smiley

I found that most of them are not adding referral id. I suggest you to add one. You may get some. Smiley

Can I add another some words/sig below coinpiler's sig? Please update the rules. Smiley

Congrats, BadBear! Couldn't tell this earlier as I was afraid to start a thread. Lips sealed . So can you handle everything like banning users?

7386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Error opening block database. Do you want to rebuild the block database now?" on: August 21, 2014, 03:36:03 PM
Thanks,
I have no coins on the laptop, only installed the program. Reason; will be out of country later this year for a long period, so I wanted to bring it with me.

So I delete the unused wallet.dat file on the unused bitcoin program on the laptop, and replace it with the backup one I have now, and then open bitcoin and it will be running as the other one did. Correct?
Later I can make addresses between them and send bitcoin back.
Got this knowledge so far Smiley

If Bitcoin still is corrupt, and i uninstall it, will even the debug, chain, database and blocks be deleted, or will they stay put?

I learn every day, sometimes from huge errors I make Smiley

The blocks and database will still be there even after you delete wallet. I have uninstalled a few times and the blocks were there till I formatted hard disk.

You need to confirm your "sign up" to the email address you signed up with.

Is this on the back end or the forum side?

Leave a message on the site and the OP would look into it.

I will also notify the OP with your problem. Thanks for your patience.

I saw that you are a mod there. What does share means? Pay per post? How much will we get? Will we get $1 for a user or should the user be active for at least a few days to get the money? Is there any detailed explanation?

Kindly,
       MZ
7388  Other / Archival / Re: Looking for someone that can buy this bitcointalk account on: August 20, 2014, 07:21:26 PM
I don't want to promote this Buy/sell BT account thing as ranks should be earned. If you don't want, just leave it. If you really want to sell your account, try to be active and post on-topic replies and try to sell when you become at-least Member or Full Member.

7389  Other / New forum software / Re: Can we "Like" a post? on: August 20, 2014, 07:11:19 PM
Honestly, everyone's agreeing with this... I'm not sure why? Maybe they've never seen another forum with the like button... this is quite literally every sticky post on the forum:

https://i.imgur.com/cgQvV6S.png

Do you really want this on half the threads on bitcointalk?

I'd rather we don't add a 'like' or '+1' button, it contributes to the 'herd' mentality that plagues so many sites already. Plus at the end of the day it doesn't really add anything constructive to the site.

Exactly this -- THANK YOU!

Agreed. I don't want it.

The list can be made hidden till they press a button like XDA forum. Anyway, if there is a meter with thanks button, it would be nice as higher Member Rank doesn't mean he is contributing but from this we can understand at least a little about his/her posts easily.

7390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best signature campaign for "member" rank? on: August 20, 2014, 06:54:57 PM
The asicminer tube  campaign has to be the best one.  Tongue

But it isn't available for Members, right? So, coinpiler is the best one, IMO. I hope the payment will be verified soon. Smiley

Good luck on signature campaigns, BT users! Smiley

7391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: www.CoinsSource.com | Premium Source Membership now Available! on: August 20, 2014, 06:50:52 PM
SRCC has just been added to AllCrypt.com! The coin is live and available right now, although the blockchain might still be downloading and deposits might not appear until this is complete.

We have (or will very soon) post an announcement on Twitter as well. Follow us on twitter (@all_crypt or https://twitter.com/All_Crypt) to help spread the word and keep abreast of site news and updates.

We'd very much appreciate being listed as an active exchange in the OP of the this thread. If you'd like a high quality PNG logo to use, a zip is available at:

http://www.allcrypt.com/aclogopack.zip

An important note: It sucks for everyone when there is a fork, or a version upgrade, and we don't get notified. Sometimes developers just tweet that there is an upgrade. We're busy running the site - we do not have time to read every tweet we are mentioned in every day. We read them, in time, but if it's an emergency upgrade (a fork) or there is a hard fork coming in less than a week - we may not see it. We unfortunately do not have time to read every forum thread of every coin we list - we'd love to - and we do read the forums as much as we can, but keeping up with every coin would be a full time job for multiple people. We'd rather spend that money on hardware and new code and features. Wink

The only truly RELIABLE way to ensure we know about a mandatory upgrade is to submit a support ticket. Just have someone hop by http://support.allcrypt.com and let us know. We see those all the time, and some of us have the app on our phones and see support tickets instantly.

If for some reason your github source changes (community takeover for example) PLEASE let us know that in the ticket. We save the github sources so we don't have to scour for it again later - and if you have an upgrade, but we're checking the old source code, it will really delay the upgrade. You only need to provide a github source if the source has changed.

I think that covers it! Thanks for your support of AllCrypt and we're proud to support you in return!

Thanks for adding SRCC! I hope your exchange will be active. Can you edit the thread and post ANN thread of BT? Best of luck!

Kindly,
       MZ

@theymos : You didn't add Legendary Member in OP. Huh Try to add It unless you are avoiding it(maybe because of some reasons). Smiley

7395  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: August 20, 2014, 01:30:42 PM
Im using intel core i7, it took 4 days for me to generate 5 charaters of my own. I want to generate a new address, any suggestions how to make it faster ?

A graphics card would help a lot. For me it took just about 1 hour to generate six characters. Can you tell me how much keys are you getting per sec?

7396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global Payments Accept Bitcoin on: August 20, 2014, 01:28:46 PM
That's good news. Through Bitpay and Coinbase many companies accepted BTC. I think BTC will get more users.
But still, I don't think the price will rise because of this though BTC will get a good attention. They will probably dump BTC to get a currency they need. Correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

7397  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No option to buy btc in US$ on blockchain on: August 20, 2014, 01:25:02 PM
You can't buy/sell BTC from Blockchain.info. It is an explorer. We can just explore blocks and all.

7398  Other / Meta / Re: The definitive explanation of how activity works! on: August 20, 2014, 01:20:31 PM
Apparently , the activity changes every 1210000 units of the UNIX timestamp. This equates to 14 days , 6 minutes , 40 seconds.
Here is a list of all the ACCURATE start dates of the 14 day periods till 2060 !
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit?pli=1

It is an nice list. Try to check it.

It will take up-to 60 mins to update your activity:

It used to be 30 mins or that's what was stated, but the sticky has been updated to 60 mins now which would seem right: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

7399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I start mining? on: August 20, 2014, 01:14:31 PM
Try to calculate the earnings before start mining. If your electricity cost if cheap, then you may get good profit. If you want to make some profit now, just invest some in Cex.io . Try to sell it when the price increases.

7400  Other / Off-topic / Re: Full, Member. Sr. Member and hero member account worth? on: August 20, 2014, 01:09:11 PM
I think the going rate :

Member : 0.06
F Member : 0.12
S Member : 0.24

Thanks can anybody confirm this?

LOL no Tongue think of it like web domains and stuff, it's just purely how much people will pay for it.

+1. Trusted accounts will be worth double or more but I don't think a person would sell it.
