7101  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Is there any way to convert from 1 private key format to another? on: September 24, 2014, 10:31:29 AM
Hello! Is there any way to convert from 1 private key format to another? Different wallets support different formats and some supports all format. The wallet I am using only supports compressed private key format but I have Base58 Wallet Import format. So is there any way? Thanks!

7102  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Android style pattern lock for Bitcoin-QT on: September 24, 2014, 10:27:29 AM
People will hardly trust you. So I suggest you to make it open source. Make a github repo or sourceforge(choose the one which suite you most). If you can't make it opensource, then it is better to make a pull request. Smiley

I recommend everyone to leave this signature campaign and be careful with Coinbroker.io.
This user didn't paid me for "not meeting the post requirements" i completely disagree with this.
I have made enough posts this week.

I am not leaving the campaign. I am just waiting. I believe I will get the payment soon. He may be busy. Lets wait for sometime... Smiley

7105  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: RushWallet 2 Bitcoin Puzzle on: September 24, 2014, 10:02:09 AM
Yes but beware that is case sensitive

oh no! i made many tries making all the lower case upper case.

and i gotta try them all again. Sad

Is there no tip on lowercase and uppercase? Atleast making it all uppercase or making it all lowercase would be helpful. Is there any limitations on entries?

7106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction stuck as uncomfirmed on: September 24, 2014, 09:49:38 AM
Will we get our our btc if it is taking too long to get a confirmation? Because i was refunded. So i just want to know whether it is because of Blockchain.info wallet or is it normal?

  ~~MZ~~
In simple terms, yes. The network will just forget about this transaction and the coins will not be spent at all. It is normal, as transaction are usually dropped out of mempool after a period of time which it is unconfirmed. Blockchain.info wallet typically stop broadcast after sometime, so the coins will return to the wallet. If the transaction is continuously broadcasted, it will not be returned to your wallet until it stops broadcasting, depending on your client.

Thanks! So what is the estimate time of stopping broadcast? 2 days? OR does this depend on the transaction?

7107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain and Microwallet help question. on: September 24, 2014, 09:46:21 AM
I set up a Blockchain wallet, and starting going around collecting faucets, those faucets go into microwallet, that then transfer inthe BC wallet after the withdrawel limit is reached. But i collected around 200000 MBit, Thing is ...all those bitcoins have been going into a different address rather than my actual Blockchain wallet address. I click on the microwallet address it takes me to blockchain transactiions and everything is all there, its just not my address. how do i get those coins from that address to my account addresss on blockchain?
Its actually 200000 satoshis. If you have no control over the address(don't have the private key), your BTC is lost. Can you post the transaction? Anyway, why do you use other's address rather than yours? If you have an account you can change the address, if you are using the address to login to microwallet, then you can't change BTC address. IMO, when you use faucets, try to use your address. Try to be careful when using BTC addresses. Sometimes, if one letter changes, it may show invalid, sometimes it won't. It is better to copy and paste than typing. Roll Eyes

Bitcointalk didn't block Chinese IP. Some are saying they can't even access Bitcoin server through when using Bitcoin-qt/bitcoind. So please don't spread wrong news. I believe you won't! Smiley Thanks!

7110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is it a bad idea to have a wallet with 10s of thousands of addresses? on: September 24, 2014, 09:30:46 AM
Are there known cases of people having problems just because of the sheer number of addresses they've generated in their bitcoind wallets?
Any info on actual limits?

the question is, is it really necessary?

Some persons don't reuse addresses though they might not delete it from the wallet, so if they somehow get any BTC into the old address they can still get it. If the wallet is too old, then it may contain too much addresses. OR if you do something related to company and all, you may have these much addresses. Anyway, that's not the point here. Roll Eyes

I didn't hard any limits, yet. I think there is no limit. But if you generate too much addresses in your wallet, it may become slow unless your GHz increases.

7111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW CAN I BUY BITCOINS HASSLE FREE - HELP! :) on: September 24, 2014, 02:50:06 AM
Coinbase is a good option. If you are doing face to face trade, do some referring on Bitcointalk 'Marketplace' board. Try to follow some tips users suggested otherwise you may jump in to grave danger. Sorry I am in mobile, it is hard for me to post the link of thread. Of anybody can, please post the links of the thread(They are little old, so of you are searching then use google search).

2.2 MHs is so low. Even with ~54 GHs I am getting a few uBTC. I think it will be better for you to buy some more, at least near to 1 GHs. Good luck! Smiley

i do have a question?

If i had 10 post this week. next week i did 20 posts. i Will win the amount related to the total?

Just to Know that.

Since i avoid for all cost doing useless posts.

Thanks in Advance.

When the period starts you will have X number of posts. Then at the end of the period, when he starts paying, you will have Y number of posts. He will subtract X from Y to get the posts you made during the period and he will pay the BTC.

For example: I have 900 posts when the period started. When period ends I have 920 posts. So he will do 920-900=20. Then he will pay for that posts. Roll Eyes I hope you understand.

  ~~MZ~~

If this is true you won't get paid for posts in period where you posted less than minimum posts, which is prolly answer to question Smiley

Of-course, you will not get payment if you didn't reach minimum post count, i.e., 20. Every campaign operate like this. They will set a minimum post count and you have to reach it to get paid.

What do you mean by 'which is prolly answer to question?
