7461  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: August 11, 2014, 08:19:00 AM
I added a new Legendary membergroup with a yellow coin. I am completely open to the possibility of changing both the name and the coin color if people don't like them. In particular, if people find that threads are now too "glittery" with all of the yellow coins, I will remove the color or make it more subtle. If you think that some other color would work better, download the legendary.gif image, modify it with your color, and post your modified GIF image. Don't change anything but the color of that one region in the image, though. (I make these images by opening the image in GIMP, selecting the colored region, and then using the Colorize tool.)

To make things more fun, the Legendary membergroup has no universal activity requirement. You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity, but the exact point in this range at which you become Legendary is random per user.

Yellow isn't visible in this forum theme. Either you will have to change the theme in new forum(which isn't good, IMO ) or please change the color which is visible and catchy till someone make better one than that.

Kindly,
       MZ
7462  Other / Meta / Re: New legendary rank? on: August 11, 2014, 08:14:33 AM
I feel so left out Sad

It only feels like yesterday I got to hero so another rank to get anyways your pretty close Gweedo only 4 months
But I like the gold coin they added.

From 0
960/365 = 2.63 Years

It will be an achievement unlocked once you get there lol.

Also you might get the coin early or need to wait the full 960 + 70 since it has a random function ^_^.

I am close yet so far! It is like teasing, I hate it.

Does anybody know the reason why it isn't fixed? Is he applying according to their posts?

7463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: August 10, 2014, 02:48:02 PM
Not that I have that many (I wish!), but how would you store >100 Bitcoins? The easy answer is just to say "create 1 offline/cold wallet and put them all in". But what about risk management? IE how do you store a very large value of coins while managing risk against hackers, forgetting passwords, the obvious need for at least 1 hot wallet, portability, easy of use, house fires, EMP bomb's (lol), or if a foreigner had to flee a country while taking no assets etc etc.

I'm looking for real responses and ideas. Please keep the trolling to a minimum Tongue

I guess I'd put them in different locations. Make an encrypted paper wallet with (m of n) keys needed in order to decrypt it. And store those keys in different locations!!! Wow, that's a lot of money, even thinking about that makes my head spin around!

Encrypt qr codes for more security.

But who is going to spend bitcoin in actual goods if its such a pain in the ass to get some

Everybody do... It isn't much hard. Like fiat currency, you will have to work to get BTC.

By the way is there any ETA for the new software?

Great thanks

Sorry. Found a post recently :

When will the software be finished?

About one year from now.

I think it is possible but it may affect you hash rate and thus your profit. If you are solo mining, try to not to do this. If you don't want to install a new OS on you computer, then run a live usb.

7470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2015 on: August 10, 2014, 12:19:03 PM
The best altcoin to invest is stellar  Roll Eyes

He told us to add why. Yes stellar is good as it is giving some coins for free for newcomers and its price is increasing. XMR, NXT and LTC. All these coins are adopted by many people. They are just better than the others.

Now it is hard to earn BTC. Anyway you can get some but it isn't much profitable. You can earn from faucets, referral campaigns, signature campaigns, trading and from mining. If you can invest some money, then buy miner(s) and mine some BTC (atleast 180 GHs) . Try buying S3, currently it is the best miner.

Uh  I got over $5 online begging... Then spread that out over Bittrex and Seals with Clubs and you can get more! You just need to know the right sites and the right people to beg from. I think my account on that site is going to get banned for this... but worth the BTC!

(P.S. If you want to know the site so you can beg, I will sell the information for 0.003 BTC!)

Hello, my friend! He is a newbie and he want to get some BTC. That is why he is asking! You want to sell a url to him? Roll Eyes Huh

Hello! The next round will be skipped unfortunately.

We are dealing with an attack and blackmail. The payments for this round will be made a little later. Sorry for the trouble!

Oh! That is a shocking news! Cry . Its okay, you can pay us a little later. I trust you and I think, so do others. I hope everything will be okay soon!

7473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best bitcoin faucets? on: August 10, 2014, 11:34:19 AM
Luckycheckin.com
Moonbitco.in
Btcrock,biz
Freebitco.in
Freedoge.co.in (Its dogecoin faucet, you can get doge address from exchange and convert it to btc)

Remember : Nowadays BTC/Altcoins faucets aren't worth. If you are paying electricity fee, then try to avoid spending huge time on faucets.

Thanks... but I don't even know my addresses.
Your post history does (only had a quick look):
16K6t4BtQwhbeTBaRrocCuptESyKcXTcuZ
1BUJ92LbERYLEPxfaxcRJECm5rXYasvsxE

Nice detective work Smiley  But those are from my online wallet... This is a new system I built a couple of months ago to start to start hosting pools so I had to download the client.

Try checking history of your browser. Somehow if you checked your balance of an address in blockchain or any other exploerer, you might get it from browser.

7475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What businesses does Bitcoin need? on: August 10, 2014, 11:16:36 AM
When we consider in terms of online stores, Bitcoin can be adopted by any shops. Any shops will help. But if you consider in terms of shops in places, it is best if grocery store and other shops where people go frequently.

Well ok,

I've had two transaction unconfirmed (sent by blockchain), definitely don't have any HD space nor connexion allowing me to install btc qt, etc...

I promise a bounty to whoever manages to help me -help hem go through?- with that (0.016 or so...).

One already got 6 confirmations but the other will take some time. It is stated that it has medium priority. So Wait for 1 day, it will be done, IMO.

7478  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many BTC do you own? on: August 09, 2014, 03:32:48 PM
Currently I'm only at 0.1BTC. Not enough, so I have invested some money to hashpower and hopefully soon I'll have more!

Currently I have 0.08866929 BTC only. Like you, I already bought some hashpower. Good luck!

7479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: conflicted transactions & pending balance on: August 09, 2014, 08:58:13 AM
CJYP - thanks its normal then why did I get stuck with 3 conflicted transactions which by the way were transmitted to more than 40 nodes ? My question was how can I delete these conflicted transactions ?

You can delete transactions using pywallet. Pywallet offers many other features too such as dumping private keys, dumbing transactions to json format etc...
